Martyr, of course, and you know this, means witness. And Ashley Babbitt did die a witness to her cause. She's a martyr. I mean, she's a martyr by any definition. Her cause is false and fake makes it no less true. And if we want to do that, then we basically get rid of the word martyr altogether.
