This was an amendment that he supported when it already went through the Judiciary Committee. This is an amendment that every Democrat wants to vote for. And this amendment, what it does is it changes the Commerce Clause in my bill and limits the scope to only institution that receive federal funding.

But Chip Roy's amendment will allow it to continue in states like California or any other child trans sanctuary state.
