Entertainment executives impose progressive values on creative works to satisfy cultural trends rather than profit motives.

You can't work with people that aren't creatives, and that's what those people are. They're a bunch of people that are caught up in whatever the cultural moment is, whatever they think like the winds of. Yeah. The winds of discontent blow the hardest, right? So the people that are going to get the most upset are the wokies. They're the ones that are going to complain the most about a lack of diversity. So to satisfy those people, they'll torch their own art, they'll fuck up the thing that they do best. I mean, you can work with totally non creative people. This was like. There's a Frank Zappa line about how working in the music industry was great when it was just a guy in a suit who didn't care. And as soon as people had some ideas, it was hard to make things. Right. When someone would tell you what to do and what not to do. If it's a profit motive, that's great. You can work with those people. Yeah, right. But there's no pure profit motive people anymore in terms of entertainment. They're all thinking about the cultural tone and what you're supposed to and not supposed to do and being on the right side of history now.
