While Antarctic sea ice has grown since the 1970s, the Arctic has lost significantly more ice per year.
Well, actually, since the 70s, the Antarctic has gained about 7,300 square miles yearly. Which is pretty cool, right? I guess. I don't want to answer. It could be a really bad thing, right? In that same time... No, no, no. That is a good thing. Oh, okay. In that same time period, the Arctic, however, has lost about 2,100 square miles per year.
