After a restless night of this recurring dream of these green eyes hot on my tail, I was coming down the trail last night, just after dark, and I see these green eyes off to the side of the trail. I mean, right on the side of the trail. What I thought was a coyote, I just kind of yelled, and then when it stood up, I realized it was a fucking mountain lion. I took off running as hard as I could, and I looked over my shoulder, and it was right behind me. I ran for probably 100 yards and realized it wasn't giving up, and I turned around and I kicked rocks, and I jumped up and down, and I screamed at the top of my lungs, and this thing did not care.

I was a half mile from the city in Lake Forest, California.
