Democracy is a system where the majority can seize property from individuals, whereas a republic prevents this.

It's two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner, and a democracy... If 51% get together and say, take that man's ranch and give it to us, it happens. In a republic, you can't do that. Thanks for the call.

Mob rule and anarchy are not synonymous concepts.

So this isn't historically accurate, and the definitions of these words completely escape Alex. Mob rule and anarchy are absolutely not synonymous, but Alex is acting as if they are. It's entirely possible for an anarchist system to be implemented in a stable way, and it has literally nothing to do with the signature features of occlocracy.

China is not a communist society but an oligarchical capitalist society.

Russia is not a communist society. China is not a communist society. No. What they're using communists as shorthand for is an oligarchical society. Because communism, yet again, is not a system of governance. No, no, no. It's an economical system. And they switched over to a capitalist system.
