Nostalgia for past music reflects a desire to return to a cultural monoculture where everyone shared the same experiences.
It's a desire and an urge to go back to a monoculture. Sure, sure. I can see that. It's like everybody was connected by hearing these songs on the radio. Sure. There was this thing that everybody was experiencing, or at least everybody within your cohort, your age cohort.
