	So that's what put me in a bad mood yesterday.

	They're too far gone from a personal perspective, from a family perspective, to think, my goodness, if I ask this question and the answer is the answer that I dread the most, how do I deal with that?

	And then after that, it becomes easier.
	And that was the cliché that I remember growing up, you know?
	They say the first person you kill is the hardest, and then it becomes easier as you go on.
	In this documentary on Hotel Rwanda, was it Monsters of Men?
	In Hotel Rwanda, not Hotel, in this Rwandan documentary, they said the reason they kill more is not because it becomes easier.
	They kill more to try to minimize the horror of what they've done.
	And they think by doing more of it, it's going to dilute.
	The evil of what they've done by somehow making it not as important because look how many, look how much more I've done of this.
	It is the way of internalizing.
	It's the way of internalizing grief by creating so much of it that you say, well, it's not that big of a deal because this is how much I've been living with it.
	Now, it's not perfectly analogous, but I find it somewhat analogous to people who have now understood.
	That they have done potentially something bad to themselves that's putting them at risk for what they see all around them.
	They can't not see it.
	They can pretend that it's not there.

	They're seeing it.

	And I'm convinced that a way that people are just coping with this is by just doubling down and just keeping their head underwater.

	Some people are saying, Paul Pelosi looks drunk.
	Well, he might have been drunk.
	He might have gotten drunk and fallen asleep, which might be why he didn't wake up when someone's smashing through the back window, which is why he might wake up potentially very drunk, have no idea what's going on, might actually think this is a nightmare or a dream.

	Had they released it, Within a reasonable timeframe, I think a lot of people would have not had as many conspiracy theories as they do have, which leads me to believe that there might be some motivating factor to be deliberately lacking transparency so you can get people to start coming up with theories.
	So then you can then say, look how crazy they are.
	They're coming up with conspiracy theories.
	They should be mocked instead of just allowing for as much transparency as reasonable.
	So that people don't go down certain rabbit holes and don't come up with certain theories and don't republish certain articles.
	Part of me believes there is political gain to be had by being deliberately non-transparent.
	And call me cynical, I think that's why some entities deliberately go out of their way to not be transparent, to let people come up with crazy ideas so that you can then dismiss all of those ideas.
