	Hello, it's Howard in London at the Home of the Unexplained.
	I wanted to put this special message on now at this time to explain to those of you who started to email me to ask why there have been no unexplained shows in the last ten days or so, and why that's been.
	The simple reason is that my father died a couple of days ago after a period of illness.
	He was getting up in years, and it wasn't totally unexpected, but nevertheless, it's a change of the guard and a mark in time, and very, very sad for all of us.
	My dad was a former Liverpool policeman, and a truly remarkable man who lived through some truly remarkable times.
	I might write something about him one of these days because he was a very, very special person in many, many ways, and he was always a total support to me.
	Even at times when other people were not massively supportive, he and my mother were always rock-solid supports to me, and I will always be grateful for that.
	And it underlines the importance in our lives of parents and parenting.
	So that's the reason why I've been away.
	I promise that The Unexplained will return soon.
	I've got a couple of shows in the pipeline, and I'll keep you posted on all of that.
