Trish Regan confronts Disney's $200 million losses from woke culture, citing the Rachel Zegler Snow White disaster and Bob Iger's pressure on Whoopi Goldberg to silence anti-Trump rhetoric amid The View's internal strife. She details the Trump administration's investigation into the Biden "auto pen," alleging millions of criminals were released via hotel placements rather than detention centers, while highlighting Republican polling leads on the economy and corporate backlash against Target's Pride merchandise and Bud Light's alienation of core customers due to DEI initiatives. Ultimately, the episode frames these events as evidence of a cultural and political realignment favoring traditional values over progressive agendas. [Automatically generated summary]

Disney Layoffs and Bad News00:05:47
And we're live.
Good to have you here on the Trish Regan Show.
So much going on, you guys, that we got to get to here.
News just breaking that Alina Haba's getting sued by the Newark, New Jersey mayor.
I have a feeling Alina's going to tell him to pound sand, but we'll get into all of that.
We've got mass layoffs at Disney.
What'd I tell you?
Right?
We knew this was coming.
We just talked about it yesterday here, right here on the Trish Regan Show.
And you know what I'm going to tell you?
It is bad, bad news for one Whoopi Goldberg.
Like seriously, seriously, seriously bad news for her because it could mean it could mean that she is going to be up against it vis-a-vis her job there.
Lots of problems potentially coming at the view.
We're going to get into all of those.
Meanwhile, some devastating poll numbers, devastating poll numbers for the Democrats.
Trump is opening an investigation into the Biden auto pen as we thought he would.
And Target is backtracking on its whole pride bonanza.
Yeah, that didn't work out so well.
Not for Target.
Not for Disney.
Welcome to the show.
Make sure you subscribe.
We're in the top 100 right now.
unbelievable.
And you know what else is kind of unbelievable and super, super duper exciting?
The fact that we are now over what?
829.
I think we actually topped 830,000 subs right here on the Trish Regan Show.
Awesome to see.
Welcome again.
Disney layoffs in the news.
And you know what?
This is bad news for one Whoopi Goldberg.
Really, really bad news for her, ladies and gentlemen.
And I'll tell you why.
You know what?
This show is expensive.
The view, to produce, you've got expensive headache making talent, and I think Bob Biger's kind of had it.
I mean, they learned their lesson, did they not?
With the likes of uh, Little Snow White, who was kind of a problem.
Snow White actually really did them in in a big big, big way, and so now everybody's paying the price and they're having to look at layoffs within the entertainment division.
Going over to the CNBC headlines that just broke, Disney laying off several hundred in film tv finance again.
We knew it was common right, because this is a changing landscape and independent media actually really matters.
I mean, I think the reason you're here, the reason we're doing so well on this channel, you know, is because you know that, well, I'm going to say anything, right?
And I can say anything.
And I don't have micromanagers, you know, running the prompter.
There is no prompter.
We're just talking.
And so it's a completely different ballgame.
And you're getting an authenticity that I don't think can exist, does exist within the mainstream media.
I know that because I worked on the mainstream media for a zillion years.
And I've been at all these networks.
And when I read this piece on Disney, I'm going to share with you.
I was not familiar with the publication I'm going to show you, but it was so spot on.
It's called The Rot at Disney Goes Deep by something called Compact Mag I'd never heard of.
And it was a fascinating piece.
I mean, they start off with the whole Snow White thing, right?
And the fact that they've lost so much money.
Remember this one, good old Snow White with Rachel Zegler from New Jersey?
What's going on in New Jersey?
More on that later.
Okay, Disney's Rot runs deep.
You know, this Snow White thing, it debuted, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, and it was record-breaking.
I mean, that was some big shoes to fill.
And so for little Rachel Zegler, the ingenue from New Jersey, to go out there and say she didn't like the movie, and she didn't really get Snow White, and it was weird, weird.
Remember all that?
That didn't fly.
That didn't play in Peoria, as they say, because, you know, when you're constantly trashing these narratives that are so aspirational, it wears on people after a while.
This was the highest grossing film of 1938.
So you're in the middle of the Depression, right?
Everybody's looking for some optimism.
And they got it in Snow White because she was the princess who lived among the dwarves, who, by the way, went to work every day, right?
Hi-ho, hi-ho, off to work we go, right?
There was like a work ethic.
You don't see any of that nowadays.
Adjusted for inflation, the original Snow White, over its lifetime, has actually earned the most money of any animated film in history.
Over one and a half billion.
So you know, Little Rachel, before you start putting it down, snow white down, the whole thing down you might want to think about the commercial aspect of all of it.
Right, it was super successful for a reason, in fact.
As recently as 2008, the American FILM Institute named it the greatest American animated film of all time.
Yeah, you better believe it.
And uh, this little compact magazine that I kind of liked.
They mentioned what I just told you about the fact that, you know, in the 1930s you were struggling against adversity.
You were struggling.
You had these ordinary, hardworking American citizens That really wanted to work.
And so, you know, you're in the midst of the Great Depression, and Walt Disney got these people.
His first feature film they write carried forward these themes that you saw in some of the original ones, a work ethic and sort of entrepreneurship by bringing together a princess outsider and seven dwarfs, a small group of fellow souls nestled deep in the forest who stole the show upon entering the film.
Ordinary miners with a strong work ethic as they tramped off to their labors every morning, pick sacks.
slung over their shoulders, singing, hi-ho, hi-ho, after work we go and chanting in unison, dig, dig, dig, as they bent to their back-breaking task.
These diminutive figures with charmingly differentiated personalities were protecting Snow White and aiding her in defeat.
And they represented, in this case, quite literally, the triumph of the little guy.
But you see, the little guy is no longer important in woke Disney anymore.
The little guy's gotten lost.
Disney doesn't like the little guy.
The little guy is the white male, right?
That oppresses us all.
Snow White Miners Singing00:14:50
And so they strayed from this, certainly in this movie and everything they've been doing.
I mean, Captain America, right?
And they've got their African-American guy.
Nothing wrong with that.
Believe me.
And you know what?
Snow White, being from Colombia originally.
Oh, I think she's half European too.
Who the heck cares, right?
Look, having started in the classical music business, opera, you get over a lot when the heavy soprano at the end is dying of consumption.
You kind of.
You know you suspend disbelief.
And, by the way, all the time you may have an Asian woman playing.
You know a young French courtesan, it doesn't matter.
Like I, i'm not saying this from the point of view that you know somebody has to quote, unquote, look exactly the part.
But when you deliberately pick someone just because oh, she's half Colombian or oh, he's black, he's great for Captain America, that's when it becomes kind of an issue, guys.
Okay, that's when we get kind of annoyed by it.
And that's exactly what you did over and over.
What do you think all these remakes are right?
So they go woke, And you know the expression, go woke, go broke.
And that's exactly what has happened to Disney.
So now they're sitting there.
They're dealing with a changing media landscape.
The reality that people can get their news, their entertainment elsewhere.
Bloomberg had a piece over the weekend, a phenomenal piece actually on how YouTube is actually coming for everybody.
That's good.
That's good for me, right?
Because YouTube's coming for everyone, even the sitcom business.
Because why pay the big cable fee for a bunch of junk entertainment?
I mean, a lot of it is just actually junk.
Or why would you go and pay for a ticket?
It's no, I unfortunately, I got three kids, right?
And somebody in the family wanted to see it.
And I got to tell you, the kids in the theater were bored, not just my kids.
I mean, I was bored out of my mind.
Every single song could have been written by AI.
There was no spirit, no ingenuity, no creativity.
It was bland.
It was boring.
The script was bad.
I felt bad for Gal Godot.
And, you know, it was a waste of time and it was a waste of money.
And it wasn't just me or my kids.
I looked around the theater and like there were popcorn fights breaking out.
Nobody liked the movie.
And so if you're not actually creating great. products, all you're doing is losing money.
So this thing was just a disaster.
I mean, it cost them some $200 million, I guess, or that's what they brought in, but they had to hit $500 million just in order to break even, but they weren't anywhere near it.
So what did they do?
They went out and canceled the Rapunzel tangled redo that they were going to do.
And then they're thinking things over again.
They're coming up with more layoffs, right?
This is, they have got to get rid of the woke individuals that have poisoned the company.
The poison apple analogy is a good one.
And so, you know, you made a mistake with the actress.
Clearly, I mean, she's in her own world.
She thinks she's got the number one movie in the world.
And she was delighted on its premiere there alone in a theater to watch it.
Hmm.
Like we said, huge loss.
I mean, I don't know how she's going to recover in terms of her career.
But it's not just the entertainment movie division, right, that's losing so badly.
It's actually the news division.
It's ABC that they can't get rid of.
They tried to sell, I guess, Nexstar, didn't offer them enough money for it.
So they're trying to make a go of it, but yet they can't.
They can't because the business is sort of fundamentally flawed.
I mean, you look at their linear TV business, including ABC revenue.
And it fell by 3% in the latest quarter down to 2.2 billion.
You get operating income.
It did actually rise.
So that tells you that they're trimming their costs, right?
They're trimming their costs by getting rid of people, smart.
But the reality is they still were not able to improve their profit in the linear television business.
Yeah, no surprise.
I mean, you guys are spending a ton of money to make a bunch of really bad products, including The View.
And that's going to have to change.
You're learning.
And this may be why George Stephanopoulos decides to depart as we hear he may.
You know, after the network had to pay $16 million in a fine, $15 million to Donald Trump's library, another million dollars to the attorneys.
I mean, because you just lie about them on the air.
And now you've got this problem in The View.
All right.
So Bob Iger reportedly sat The View ladies down or communicated somehow to their EP.
Rather recently that they needed to change their tone now.
This had been going on for a while.
I want to you know full disclosure.
We talked about it right here on the show, right after the election.
I actually made the observation that somebody was talking to Whoopi Goldberg.
I thought somebody was starting to talk to her because I was starting to hear a different kind of tonality, almost sounding like she was going to give the president, dare I say, a chance.
Well, that was Igor, apparently telling her, Whoopi, we got to shift.
That was her producers after they fired them all, by the way saying we're going to have to shift.
Here's Whoopi Making that seemingly magical shift.
I think what we're all saying is we're going to sit and watch.
We're going to wait and see because we can't do anything else except.
I'm not going to wait and see.
I mean, this guy is full of retribution.
What are you going to do?
There's nothing to be done until you know what you're fighting.
What are you going to do?
It's pissing in the wind doesn't help.
You just get a whiff.
What I'm saying is I have no false expectations that at 78 he's going to all of a sudden turn into a whole other human being.
And I'm not going to spend your expenses.
I spent weeks telling people that he was apocalyptic.
I'm not going to change now because it's still the same man treating every single thing like that.
I think that's when we lose credibility.
Well, here's the thing.
You lose credibility in many different ways.
If you don't know what you're talking about and you accuse him of something, then they're going to blow it back.
That's why I say we need to wait and see exactly what you're going to do.
So she knows her job is on the line.
I actually believe her contract was coming up, which is why, remember in the original view that they were putting out for weekends online.
She wasn't in it.
I think that was partly contract negotiations.
And then you had the big award ceremony, right?
The Oscars or whatever you call it.
One of them, you know, I get them a little confused, but I think it was the Oscars.
And she got up there to present an award.
I think that was part of the negotiation too, because it was airing on ABC.
So she's talking to the bosses behind the scenes and they're saying, you know, you can't go after Trump like that.
It's getting old.
It's getting stale.
The viewers don't want it anymore.
So they sit her down.
They read her the riot act.
They tell all the hosts this because they were going into info.
Up front recently.
That's like the big you know shindig, the big conference, where you have advertisers come in and they're going to buy advertising on a show.
Who wants to buy advertising on the view, can I ask you?
I mean, that's kind of so.
They're trying to get them to shift.
They were told, I understand, to actually focus more on entertainment and pop culture, but apparently some of them, like Anna Navarro did not want to do it and Sonny Houston did not want to do it, Joy Behar.
I mean it's like you're seeing their public.
Well, you're seeing their behind the scenes fight out there in public.
So they're having this back and forth with producers.
Producer, the guy who runs the show, you know, is sitting there going, oh, what do I do with these women?
I don't know.
I think you just fire them all and get rid of it.
You start over.
And you know what?
You're going to save a lot of money.
Otherwise, you're just going to keep dealing with this.
And we're having a conversation.
Yes.
And we're going to go back to it.
But before we do, I just want to say this is the beauty.
Of people who have different opinions.
Sometimes it's messy.
Sometimes we're messy.
And I don't know if you noticed that when I came out this morning, I had trouble trying to figure out because there was nothing in the thing.
There's something in the air.
So just know something is chewing on.
You know what's in the air, Wumpy?
Trumpism.
We lost the election.
Wait a minute.
We lost the election.
We're miserable.
Half of this country is miserable.
And let's just tell the truth.
We hate that he won.
We hate it.
Well, then I'm going to say to that machine over there, you stop blaming me.
Okay, I'm going to jump in.
You see what that's about there?
She's saying, I'm going to stop saying to that machine, the teleprompter, what's in the teleprompter?
What am I supposed to do?
What am I supposed to say?
Because you guys don't want me to be anti-Trump.
So she's trying to, this is after the election, right?
And nobody else on her team is willing to follow her leadership, even though the bosses are telling her, you can't be this anti-Trump.
I mean, for one thing, we got Brendan Garr, the FCC director, breathing down our back.
They're suing us for.
DEI stuff, violation of the Constitution.
We may not get our affiliate deals renewed all over the country.
I mean, they're in a lot of trouble.
And so, Whoopi, who's seen as the leader right on The View, is being told, You got to get everybody on the same page.
So she's saying, Well, help me.
I don't know what I'm supposed to say because there's nothing in the teleprompter and I have only one place to go, right?
And Joy is out there saying, Well, of course, we have only one place to go because we hate Trump and we're not going to change our minds about how much we hate Trump.
Let's keep listening.
You do what you're supposed to do.
You bring up the words I need to say.
So, what I need to say is, We're going to go back to the convo that we were having.
You see?
So that is her publicly arguing with her producers there, right on set saying, you know what?
You guys want me to be this?
Then write it for me.
Let me see it in the prompter.
Must win.
All right, go ahead.
Yeah, that's what that is.
I'm telling you.
And not everybody's on board.
So I think Whoopi is.
I think actually Whoopi is very commercial and she's made a decision.
She needs to keep her job.
So she's trying to keep the bosses happy.
Bob Iger told her, this is what you got to do.
And yet the rest of the team wants no part of it.
I want you to take a look at this.
So this is Sonny Houston, who's their quote unquote lawyer who had to keep reading these legal notes, which became kind of a nightmare, right?
Going into the election and thereafter.
And so she clearly also does not have a thought in her head.
Apparently, if it's not in the teleprompter or on her note card, she can't deliver it.
Watch how she stares down at her notes.
So somebody's feeding her this garbage, which tells me you've got a lot of people on different sides.
The producers thinking one way, the talent thinking another.
And you don't have people that have enough conviction internally, right, to actually speak what they believe, which is part of the problem with the entire show.
So, Trump definitely doesn't understand economics.
He's listening to someone who you say doesn't understand economics.
And so, there is no end plan, there is no game plan.
He doesn't know how to negotiate.
He couldn't negotiate himself out of a paper bag.
But the issue here.
But his narcissism prevents him from admitting that.
And to Whoopi's point at the very beginning, meaning that clip that we played, That he's saying, you know, everybody's kissing my butt.
They're actually not because China has accused the United States of blackmail and declared that Beijing would fight to the end.
The Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, has said its friendship with the U.S. is over.
Australia's, yes, Australia's Prime Minister, Anthony Albany, said Trump's tariffs have no basis in logic, are not the act of a friend, and he called them totally unwarranted.
Macron from France, he said the tariffs are brutal and unfounded.
Who said this?
We went from the envy of the world to the enemy of the world.
Yes, you said that.
I can't really, I don't know who said that, but what I will say, when you.
From my perspective, I'm looking at this and I'm thinking no country can count on America anymore.
They're going to ice us out economically.
We're going to be on our own because they're not going to be able to depend on a country that every four years could elect a dictator.
They can't rely upon us.
The problem is this.
So I'm thinking maybe Sonny didn't get the boss's order, right?
Again, they are being told, knock it off.
We don't think this is working for ratings, and it's clearly not working for the company overall.
So, do they actually cancel the show?
I mean, that's a big question.
The ratings have miraculously held up.
And so, Sonny and Ana Navarro and Joy Behar are sitting there saying, but, our viewers hate Trump.
This works for us.
And the people in the business office are saying, well, it doesn't really work for us because nobody's wanting to buy the advertising for this show.
And it's not courting, apparently, the audience that we want.
And then on top of it, yeah, you got the FCC that's become kind of a problem.
And I don't think.
Donald Trump has a whole lot of respect, shall we say, for ABC, right?
Remember Terry Moran, the guy who Trump was like, wait a second, you know, this was your big chance, Terry?
Like, what happened?
I had never heard of you.
This is why I gave you the gig.
So he's an ABC reporter.
And, you know, Trump thinks everybody's terrible at ABC.
Well, this guy, this guy certainly wasn't doing them any favors either, right?
Terry Moran, you wonder if he's going to get laid off over there.
Let's take a listen.
Pretty close.
I campaigned on that issue.
I've done an amazing job.
I have closed borders.
He said you couldn't do it.
You wouldn't be able to do it.
It would never happen.
Well, it happened.
And it happened very quickly.
Wait a minute.
When we have criminals, murderers, criminals in this country, we have to get them out, and we're doing it.
And you'll pick out one man.
But even the man that you picked out, he said he wasn't a member of a gang.
And then they looked, and on his knuckles, he had MS 13.
There's a dispute about that.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
He had MS-13 on his knuckles tattoo.
He had some tattoos that are interpreted that way.
But let's move on.
Wait a minute.
Hey, Terry.
Terry.
Terry.
He did not have the letter MS-13.
It says MS-13.
That was Photoshopped.
So let me just.
That was Photoshopped, Terry.
You can't hear that.
Hey, they're giving you the big break of a lifetime.
You know, you're doing the interview.
I picked you because, frankly, I never heard of you, but that's okay.
I picked you, Terry.
But you're not being very nice.
He had MS-13 tattoos.
We'll agree to disagree.
I want to move on to something else.
No, no, no.
I want to get to Ukraine.
No, no.
No, no.
He had MS, as clear as you can be, not interpreted.
Photoshopped MS-13 Tattoos00:11:50
This is why people no longer believe the news, because it's fake news.
When you speak of the news.
In El Salvador, they aren't there.
But let's just go ahead.
They aren't there when he's in El Salvador.
Take a look at the photo.
But they're there now, right?
No.
But they're there.
They're in your picture.
Terry.
Ukraine, sir.
He's got MS 13 on his knuckles.
All right.
Okay.
We'll take a look at that.
You do such a disservice.
We'll take a look at that, sir.
Why don't you just say, yes, he does, and go on to something else?
No, it's contested.
Oh, wow.
Well, you know, between Snow White, between George Stephanopoulos, the Terry Moran disaster, and of course, none other than The View, I think they get a few problems at Disney, a few problems at ABC.
We wish them luck.
I think that you're going to actually see a lot more layoffs coming.
Don't forget, ABC News was hit by hundreds of layoffs as recently as March.
So here we are, March, April, May, June.
Next quarter, you're getting more layoffs.
Actually goes straight back to my thesis here that, as this media environment changes drastically, you can't have one the woke nonsense that's costing you a lot of money, that's not actually anything that anybody wants to see.
And second of all, you can't have these expensive productions with your live studio audience that has to clap.
Every time Joy Behar does whatever right, they send the clapping signs out.
That doesn't work in this brave new world.
And so you look at, for instance, even subscriptions right, streaming subscriptions to Disney down, and the only thing maybe they can try and pull off would actually be ESPN, because I think that people will pay up for ESPN and so they'll have subscriptions for that, but they'll have to make a real transition away from the cable model.
And so we're watching this here on the front lines in real time and it's sort of kind of just amazing, right like it's like everything I told you was going to happen keeps happening every single day.
Meanwhile, you know what else is pretty scary, some of the things that Tom Homan told us we were going to happen.
They are also happening seemingly every day.
He warned against the threat of people who are not looking out for our interests and actually want to do us harm.
And sure enough, we have learned, of course, that the person that was the attacker there in Colorado was here in the country illegally.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, this is from the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Trisha McLaughlin.
He entered the country in August 2022 on a B2 visa that expired in.
February 2023.
He filed for asylum in September of 2022.
Sources are telling CNN's John Miller that he had previously applied for asylum in 2005.
We know that the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, had previously tweeted that he had overstayed a visa and was in the country illegally.
So he was here.
This again, it's Tom Homan's biggest fear.
And he was out on Fox last night and he said it.
He said, You know, we got two million people here, we don't know who they are.
We don't have any information on them.
Biden let them all in.
I mean, there's many, many more, but there's 2 million that we have literally no clue on.
And that's a problem.
Watch.
And I said what concerned me the most was they created the biggest national security vulnerability this country's ever seen.
Not only did 2 million known gotaways, 2 million people cross the border.
We don't know who they are, where they came from.
We don't know where they are now.
On top of that, even through the legal process, the Biden administration were bringing people unvetted, handing out work fees like their candy while they sat here and planned something bad.
We are going to be dealing with this for the next 10 years because of the chaos they created in four years.
We're out there kicking butt.
We're arresting a lot of criminal aliens.
We're out there looking for the bad guy.
And when we're out there doing that, Sean, we got protesters assaulting ICE officers.
We got members of Congress all over the country going to ICE facilities, raising hell, saying this is your oversight responsibility.
Where was the oversight responsibility when 10.5 million illegal aliens came across the border?
Where is the oversight responsibility on releasing over 8 million illegal aliens to this country?
Where's the oversight responsibility then?
This is an attack on ICE.
This is an attack on a Trump administration.
We're trying to fix the damage done by Biden.
Yeah.
Good luck.
Right?
Piece of my mind pointing out it's a lot more than 2 million.
I don't know.
I mean, we know that like 20 million are here undocumented illegally.
And he's making the point about 2 million.
Maybe that's who we find to be suspicious.
Maybe we're saying 10% of them.
I don't care.
Like, you shouldn't have one person here, right?
Illegally.
Like, that is just.
A huge, huge problem and it's a huge national security issue.
So why did it happen?
My friend, Corey Lundowski, was on with my other friend, Benny Johnson, talking about this very thing this week.
I want you to listen to Corey's view on it.
I actually owe him a phone call, by the way, so maybe we'll bring him on here to talk about it too, but he makes a good point, a frightening one, but a good point.
Well, what is the accountability that we have for these people, right?
I mean, Look, when you go back and look at what Alejandro Mayorcas allowed to have happen, he lied to Congress and said he had no authority to prevent the border from being secured.
What we will know and what your listeners and viewers will see here in just a couple days, Benny, is the individuals that the Biden administration actually kept off the known suspected terror list, which is amazing, right?
They were pressured to keep certain individuals who should have been placed on that list off of the list for political realities.
And that is devastating to me.
So that's going to come here in the very near future.
The fact that political. expedience allowed them for people who should have been placed on the list to be kept off the list.
And clearly a guy like this who should have been on those who never should have been let into the country, they just turned their cheek.
They turned a blind eye to them.
They let these criminals pour into our country to continue to perpetrate crimes against Americans with zero legal resource.
Listen, I was part of that team, the fake Russian narrative that had to testify seven times in front of Congress that was held accountable that I never did anything wrong.
When did these people be held accountable.
What are they dragged before Congress to say, you are now personally liable for the things that you did while you were in government service because you allowed these crimes to, if not actually happen, you allowed the people to come into this country because you didn't follow the rules.
Think about that.
I mean, this is a crime of our own making.
Like there's got to be some responsibility.
Somebody has to come forward and say, you know, I accept ownership of this.
What the heck?
This is why Donald Trump, and we're going to get to this in a moment, is demanding an investigation into the auto pen.
But I don't know as it's going to change these people's minds.
I mean, think about La Monica out there, MacGyver, in Newark, New Jersey, pushing herself up against those ICE agents, trying to impede them from doing their jobs.
Well, you know, they're accusing her of assault.
She's been charged with that as well, assault of a federal officer because of this video I'm about to show you.
I mean, this is the mentality, okay?
So instead of saying, hey, you know, we're going to like try and work to make sure we know who's here and clean things up.
Instead, there's a, oh no, we got to actually get out there and go do our job to make sure that, you know, everybody's being treated fairly in New Jersey.
There seems to be.
Thank you so much, Alphonse.
Appreciate the generosity.
You know, he's making the point that, you know, people were released into this country that never should have been released into this country.
I mean, just the fact that that other guy was here illegally, right, guys?
The fact that he was here illegally in that he had overstayed this visa, I think tells you everything you want to know.
While simultaneously, you get the Democrats out there, this one trying to make a name for herself, clearly, out there fighting the so-called good fight in the name of preserving the rights of all these people.
Now, I'm just saying, this is a weird set of priorities, like a really weird set of priorities.
Meanwhile, you've got, oh, this one.
This is the Newark mayor who's now suing Alina Habba, claiming malicious prosecution.
This just breaking.
And I'm telling you, I know exactly what Alina is going to say.
But here, I'll share with you what she wrote on X on Monday night.
She had already been dismissive of any anticipated legal action.
She wrote, my advice to the mayor is feel free to join me in prioritizing violent crime and public safety.
Far better use of your time for the great citizens of New Jersey.
So he's saying he was unfairly targeted there.
They did actually let him go, apparently, because he showed some remorse when he came into her, unlike the other one, La Monica.
I love saying that, right?
La Monica, who's just wants a good fight and suddenly sees herself as maybe rising up in the Democrat Party because she's getting some national attention.
Oddly, there are members of the media that support this.
It's really kind of bizarre.
I mean, you'd think somebody would say, hey, You know, you were trespassing.
You weren't supposed to be there.
You didn't have an appointment.
Why did you think you could just barge on in and to federal property?
Again, back to the Constitution.
Guess who has the jurisdiction all day long, forever on that one?
It's the feds, okay?
Supremacy clause, the commerce clause, naturalization clause.
This is the feds.
It's why it was so frustrating in Texas.
Remember when Governor Abbott was trying to put back the wall that the Biden administration was taking down and Mallorca was like, no, it's coming down.
Abbott's like, but we're Texas.
Like, you can't just have everybody swarm into Texas and make us have to deal with it.
And they're like, oh, yeah, we can.
I mean, that was atrocious.
But again, it was the federal government that had the jurisdiction.
And so there was not a lot of wiggle room.
AOC, meanwhile, you know her.
She's been coming out saying, don't you dare go after my Newark mayor or my La Monica or this, that, or the other.
She had a warning for home.
If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress.
It's the Department of Homeland Security.
It's people like Tom Homan and Secretary Christy Nome.
You lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem.
So tough, tough lady, right?
Don't want to get into a fist fight, bar fight with her.
Maybe she has experience.
Anyway, Tom Homan, he can take it on.
He's the one guy that totally can take it on.
And he already has.
I mean, this couple of years ago, this is like the moment.
I love this exchange between Tom Homan and AOC.
She is so out of her element, totally out.
And he is the adult in the room.
You're not the author, but you signed the memo.
Yes, a zero tolerance memo.
So you provided the official recommendation to Secretary Nielsen for the United States to pursue family separation.
I gave Secretary Nielsen numerous recommendations on how to secure the border and save lives.
But it says here that you gave her numerous options, but the recommendation was option three family separation.
What I'm saying, this is not the only paper where we've given the Secretary numerous options to secure the border and save lives.
And so, the recommendation of the many that you recommended, you recommended family separation.
I recommended zero tolerance.
Family Separation Memo Signed00:06:16
Which includes family separation.
The same as is with every U.S. citizen parent gets arrested when they're with a child.
Zero tolerance was interpreted as the policy that separated children from their parents.
If I get arrested for DUI and I have a young child in a car, I'm going to be separated.
When I was a police officer in New York and I arrested a father for domestic violence, I separated that father from my parents.
Mr. Holman, with all due respect, Legal asylees are not charged with any crime.
When you're in the country illegally, it's violation 8 United States Code 1325.
Seeking asylum is legal.
If you want to seek asylum and go through the port of entry, do it the legal way.
The Attorney General of the United States has made that clear.
Okay.
Gosh, he's good, right?
He's really, really good.
You know who else is making this suddenly clear?
The Supreme Court has just voted.
The 532,000 people that were allowed into this country.
by the Biden administration on this parole program where they were handing out these work visas left and right.
Guess what, guys?
They're done.
Now the Trump administration has the authority to, guess what?
Send them all home and packing.
We're going to get to more on that, including the defunding and sanctuary cities.
But first, you know, we're fully independent here on the Trish Vegan Show.
So we love our sponsors, including these folks over at Bounce in Nature, because this is how I get my vitamin D and vitamin C and iron and all that other great stuff.
But, you know, for me, actually, it's like a vitamin D thing because I don't see as much sun as I should.
So.
I get it thanks to my fruits and veggies that I take every morning, gummies from Balance in Nature.
You can get these two 35% off actually with code word Trish, T-R-I-S-H.
Call them at 1-800-246-8-751, 1-800-246-8-751, or go to balancingnature.com.
You can read all about the testimonials because I'm not the only one who loves them.
They taste really good.
They have none of those bad things in them.
And by the way, they're gluten-free as well for those of you that care.
So take your vitamins, right?
Important stuff to do.
make sure everyone in your family takes their vitamins.
And there's other things on there.
Like you don't have to take the basic gummies that I take, but I do like my fruits and veggies and I know that I get everything I need.
Well, hopefully, right?
Every day.
I try to eat a balanced diet too, and I drink a lot of water and I get my exercise.
So it's all part of the whole package.
You can't do one without the other.
So eat well, take your vitamins, drink water and exercise.
Simple enough.
Again, the SCOTUS decision, Supreme Court of the United States announcing that guess what?
Donald Trump can end that.
Migrant parole program for people from the likes of Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Haiti, all these places coming into the country and being doled out work visas.
And it's like, why were they doing this, really?
Was it gerrymandering?
Did they just want to make sure that they had enough people in a certain district so that they could get an additional congressperson?
What do you guys think?
I'm curious.
Let me look at the chat, see what your perspective is on that.
I think it had actually a lot to do with a few things.
And you know what?
If you're not going to play by the rules, AOC, Letitia James, Newark, New Jersey, then you know what?
We don't have to give you money, right?
And the feds can cut you off.
And that's exactly what they're doing.
We already saw that going down in New York.
Letitia's flipping out.
She's filed like, what, 100 lawsuits already?
She's very proud of that.
It's her entire political career.
It's actually going to be the death of her eventually political career.
She's going down.
We've talked about that.
Go look at yesterday's show.
We talked all about that because she is going to be indicted and she's going down, not just because. of what she did to Donald Trump, which she should be disbarred for and disqualified from her AG position, but because she's trying to use taxpayer money to defend herself, a $10 million slush fund that she's trying to hand out to none other than Biden's old attorney, Hunter Biden's old attorney, Abby Lowell, but also because of this mortgage fraud investigation, which is just massive and super poetic.
But anyway, you can watch yesterday's show and learn more about that.
We talk about it a lot here on this show because Letitia is something else.
But this is what's happening.
They're going to defund these sanctuary cities.
And you know what?
It has to happen because I'm under the impression at this point that the only thing these people pay attention to is actually money.
Okay?
Money talks.
So they care when suddenly they don't have any more money.
Speaking of money, one way to have more of it would be to invest in gold.
I hope you have.
Again, another sponsor on the Great Trish Regan Show.
We thank them for this American Heart for Gold.
You can call them at 1-844-495-1115 or text Trish to 655.
Three, two for up to fifteen thousand dollars in free silver.
Or go to Trishlovesgold.com today to learn more there again from American Heart FOR GOLD.
Go check that out, guys.
Again one of our great sponsors here on the Trish Regan show.
But you've got to think about you know, if money is the only thing that matters to these people like aoc and company, then you have to be able to cut them off.
You have to actually be able to trigger that.
In the meantime you got to say what the heck went down, because we got to make sure that it never went down Or never does go down in the future.
And this is why news today that Trump is initiating, in fact, a formal investigation into the so called poison pen, the auto pen that did so much damage to this country.
Who the heck was signing off on this stuff?
We know it wasn't this guy.
And there's also been a lot of discussion recently about your mental and physical capabilities while you were in office.
You can see that.
I'm mentally incompetent and I can't walk, and I've been beat the hell out of both of them.
Reports and also to the fact that there are some Democrats who are now questioning whether you should have run for reelection in the first place.
Why didn't they run against me then?
Because I'd have beaten them.
Do you have any regrets?
No, I don't.
I have no regrets.
I do it all over again.
Yeah.
Well, your party has a few regrets, I'm guessing, Joey, boy.
What a disaster.
Trump Mental Capabilities Questioned00:03:31
Look, everybody knew.
Everybody knew he was a disaster.
We saw it over and over again.
We get in trouble for this, right?
This was one of the most unbelievable things I ever saw.
So I used to say to Drew, make sure you keep that one handy.
He said, I better not take questions.
I mean, look at him.
If you're listening on Spotify, thank you.
If you're watching on YouTube, make sure you subscribe, like, share, all that good stuff.
I'm just looking at him.
And so I mentioned this for our audio viewers.
If you're seeing this, you see he is in very, very, very, very bad shape.
And he's in very bad shape.
Why?
Because, well, apparently now we've learned he had an advanced stage of cancer and we don't know why.
Nobody was willing to tell us.
About any of it, or why he didn't get the proper testing so that somebody knew about it.
Instead, you know, you'd see him looking for the invisible chair.
There was a chair.
There was a chair.
Forgive me, because they'll call me a cheap fake again.
Right, there was a chair um, but he was just always out of it, and you'd see it over and over and over again.
So Donald Trump has come along saying, you know what?
We need to get to the bottom of this.
We need an investigation.
We've got to figure out exactly how this all happened.
Or he's a radical left person.
That's what the executive branch is for.
You have checks and balances.
But we had millions of people pour into our country, many, many criminals pour into our country, murderers, murderers, mental institutions from all over the world being emptied out into our country.
And if we don't get them out and get them out quickly, we're going to lose your country very easily.
This is a bad that anybody would allow this to happen to our country.
You know, with all of the things, we took over inflation, we took over some wars, we took over A lot of problems that didn't exist when I was president.
None of it existed.
We wiped out ISIS.
Other than that, we had no wars.
Putin was never going to hit Ukraine.
Israel would have never been attacked.
That attack, as you know, Iran had no money.
They didn't have money for Hamas.
They didn't have money for Hezbollah.
They had no money whatsoever.
That wasn't going to happen.
All of these things that happened weren't going to happen.
You wouldn't have had inflation.
So it's very sad when I came back.
But the thing that is the hardest that they allowed 21 million people into our country, and many of those people are stone cold criminals.
They moved their criminal population into the United States.
And of all the things that are bad, I solved inflation, I believe, already.
I got the fuel prices down, the fuel prices came down.
That's one of the reasons they screwed up the energy.
They screwed up the cost of gasoline and oil and gas.
And you had tremendous inflation, the greatest inflation probably in the history of our country under Biden.
And when people said, oh, but the economy was, no, the economy was terrible for the people because.
They couldn't afford the energy, and the energy brought everything else up.
Energy is the big deal.
But with all of that, we solved that already.
In four months, we solved it.
$1.99, $1.98 gasoline.
First time people have seen that in a long time since my term.
But the hardest thing to solve is millions of people pouring into our country, many of whom are criminals.
Because remember, these countries are smart.
Their leaders are very street smart.
Biden Inflation and Energy Crisis00:15:20
They're sending the people that they don't want.
They don't want the people that are there, that are law abiding, that are productive, that are working hard.
They want people that are in jails.
We have them.
They allow them to come in.
And I always look to the other side, like, why would somebody do something?
You know, in business, I try and study why would they want to do this?
Why would they want to sell it?
Why would they want to buy it?
One thing I can't figure out is what would an administration, what were they thinking when they allowed, Millions of people from prisons all over the world, not just from South America, Venezuela, all over the world, from the Congo in Africa.
Hundreds of people, thousands of people from the Congo, rough, rough prisoners.
It's true, like, what were they thinking?
What?
Cheap labor?
But then you're putting them up in hotels, right?
And giving them food cards?
That doesn't make any sense.
Like, what were they thinking?
Oh.
I see.
They wanted to rearrange Congress a little bit?
And they thought maybe you'd just keep putting them up.
Hey, New York, you know what?
Come here, stay at the Roosevelt Hotel.
I mean, come on.
You know who got into this recently was Tom Homan, who actually had some thoughts on exactly why they were putting them up, say, at the Roosevelt Hotel at $500 a night instead of giving them a bed, a bed in some ice facility.
I mean, because in his estimation, then suddenly, you know, there was no reason to have to move.
Why would you ever move from your daily maid service hotel, for goodness sakes?
What incentive do you have to do that?
You could just live off the dole, but why would you want to be living off the dole like that continually?
Well, he had kind of an interesting take on this.
I want to share it with you because it's worth hearing and he'll do a better job phrasing this than I will, guys.
Let's listen to Tom Holman here.
If I can play this for you, I think I can.
And he's saying, listen, there is a reason, ladies and gentlemen, there is an absolute reason why they made a decision.
They made a deliberate decision to to actually not put people in ICE centers, but actually give them all kinds of privileges, all kinds of privileges.
Why?
Because somehow that would make it more hospitable for more people to come here.
And I'm still like, but why did you want them?
I mean, I think Trump has said this over and over again, and I understand and agree.
Maybe we can't bring that.
We'll do it tomorrow.
But he said it.
Tom Holman is like, there's a reason they did this.
And the reason they did this was actually because they wanted to make it.
Easier.
And you just have to ask what exactly Trump was asking.
Why?
Why make it easier?
Okay, so this is what gets you back, of course, to the auto pen.
This is what gets you back to the investigation that Donald Trump is now engaging in.
Because when you have all these questions and you say, why were they doing this?
Somebody was getting something out of it.
And we need to know who those people were and why they continued to ignore all it.
Holly made the point.
And they did it for power, and they need to be held accountable as well.
What about this idea that there was more activity, auto pen activity, in the last hundred days than there were in the first three and a half years?
Or a staffer saying, well, if he's reelected, you know, we'll put him in hiding and bring him out every once in a while to show proof of life.
That's not very reassuring.
That sounds to me like people fully understood that they were going to be in power and in control, and he was not.
That, to me, is a constitutional crisis.
Oh, absolutely.
I mean, one of the worst constitutional crises of our country's history, and we've just lived through it.
I'd like to know.
We need to find out who actually signed off, so to speak, on all of those auto pen signatures, on all of those pardons, all of those clemencies.
You remember, Sean, who he pardoned and who he granted clemency to in the final months of his presidency after they lost the election.
I mean, it's an unbelievable rogue's gallery of crooks and criminals and terrible people, rapists and others.
I mean, who actually was doing that?
We know it wasn't Biden.
He didn't know anything about it.
So, yeah, we've got to figure out who was actually in charge because it sure as heck wasn't Joe Biden.
And I just come back to the fact that the media knew this.
They knew it.
They lied about it.
They betrayed us, Sean.
They betrayed this country.
They sold this country out for their own political power.
These people can never be trusted again.
No, definitely not.
I mean, definitely not.
I mean, we began the show talking about Disney and Whoopi Goldberg.
She's the one who immediately, you know, you can't vote for Trump because if you vote for Trump, he's going to lock you up.
He's going to lock up all the gays.
He's going to lock up the.
And we're like, what?
For what it's worth, not that Trump would ever mention this, but his treasury secretary is playing for the other team.
So I'm just saying, she's kind of nuts when she makes these assumptions or calling him anti-Semitic when, for goodness sakes, his own grandchildren are Jewish.
His daughter converted.
I mean, it's this kind of crazy, crazy, crazy stuff that really starts to wear on people, which is why Bob Iger's saying, hey, can you lay off?
It's not playing with the audience.
And they're like, no, no, no, it's doing great.
It's doing great.
Well, it may not be playing with the audience and soon it's not going to be playing with all of America because you guys are not going to be on the air anymore because the FCC is going to say no one in America trusts you.
Therefore, those ABC affiliates should not have to pay this crazy money.
So yeah, the auto pen is a big deal.
We need an investigation into that.
And the media?
Well, the media, I don't know what they were doing.
I mean, I couldn't believe it.
I go back to this Smith, I almost said Smooth Holly, the Smith-Munt Act, right, that had been put in place that enabled.
The media to use all this money overseas to promote a certain narrative that the CIA wanted promoted.
So during Obama's years in 2013, in a defense bill, they actually did the repeal of the Smith-Munt Act, which enabled all those media companies to take all the money that they were sending for narratives overseas and turn it back on the people here in the United States of America ourselves.
And perhaps that's what unleashed it because there was some kind of money at stake.
And so you needed to push this narrative.
But I'll tell you, the American people are too darn smart for it.
And they continue to be too darn smart for it.
Just look at these poll numbers.
Oh my gosh.
CNN doesn't know what to make of these poll numbers.
And it's, by the way, a CNN poll.
So that's the funny part about it.
This is great.
Okay, let's go to Harry Anton.
He's got a lot of energy.
I like this guy.
But he's like flabbergasted.
He's like, man, oh, man, oh, man, the Democrats can't get out of their own way.
They kind of suck on everything.
Yeah, you would think after all of the waves, Kate Baldwin, after the last few months, the first five months of the Donald Trump presidency, right, or the first four months of the Donald Trump presidency, that you expect that Democrats are going to have this massive lead on the economy.
It ain't so.
It ain't so.
The party that is closest to your economic views.
In November of 2023, it was the Republicans by 11 points.
Now it's still within that range, still within that margin of error, plus eight point advantage for the Republican Party.
How is that possible, Democrats?
How is that possible after all the recession fears, after the stock market's been doing all of this, after all the tariffs that Americans are against, and Republicans still hold an eight point lead on the economy?
Are you kidding me?
No, we're not kidding you.
Harry, we're not kidding you because you know what?
Look at what Joe did.
For goodness sakes, you were near double digit inflation under Joe Biden.
And then Donald Trump comes into office and suddenly energy prices start going down.
You're paying less at the gas pumps and you're paying less at the grocery store.
And so, yeah, it's been a little rocky in the market, but actually things are doing better.
We're going to talk about that in a second.
And so people are like, no, well, this party gets me.
And this president's actually doing something about inflation instead of sitting there saying it's all in my head, right?
That was the best.
I'll never forget that.
There was one Morning Joe episode where they're like, really?
There's no inflation?
I mean, we heard the same thing on The View.
There's no inflation.
It's not that bad.
And it's like, guys, okay, here's the deal.
So it went up, what, 9.6% in its height?
It was going up 4%, 5%, 6%, 9.6% consumer prices.
And so then, you know, the next month, I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but suppose it went up 6% and they're like, woo, it's coming down.
I'm like, no, no, no.
It was up 9.6% and then it's up 6 point something percent.
In other words, this is cumulative.
Prices have, I mean, I'm still amazed at prices, right?
So yeah, they're coming down a little bit, but, you know, inflation gets baked in pretty darn easily.
And so that was not a good economic scenario.
And it really is the economy, stupid.
Let's go back to Harry.
Shocked at his own poll.
This is new CNN polling.
How is that, when we look for trends, how is that trending with other data that you're pulling in?
Yeah, if it was just this one CNN poll, that would be one thing.
But take a look at Reuters Ipsos.
What do we see here?
Party with a better economic plan.
Well, in May of 2024, just before Donald Trump was re elected president, Republicans had a nine point advantage.
Look at where we are now in May of 2025.
The advantage actually went up by three points.
Now Republicans have a 20.
12 point advantage when it comes to the party with a better economic plan.
And again, this is after months of economic, supposed economic uncertainty in which the stock market's been going bonkers, in which the tariff wars that Americans are against have been going on.
And yet, despite all of that, the Democrats are down by 12 points on the economy.
This speaks to Democratic problems on the economy better than basically anything that you could possibly look at.
The Republicans still hold an advantage on the all important key issue of the day.
And that is the reason why Even if Donald Trump's approval ratings are a little bit lower than they used to be, Republicans are not out of the ballgame because they still have a clear advantage on the economy, whether you look at CNN's polls or whether you look at the Ipsos poll right here, in which they have a 12 point advantage on the economy.
Pretty amazing, right?
Pretty, pretty.
And it's simple.
It's like people want somebody who's looking out for their economic interests.
And by the way, America's economic interests.
The American dream is something that's unique and special to the United States of America.
Nobody else is aspirational around the world.
You know why?
Because they're all socialists or God knows what, worse, right?
So what do we have here going for us?
We've got capitalism, pure raw capitalism, capitalism.
It may not be perfect, but I'll tell you, it's the best game in town.
You try the alternative anywhere else in the world and you see what you get pretty darn fast.
Again, Harry's shocked.
He took a historical look at who's traditionally represented the middle class and he can't believe, he can't believe that the GOP has taken over that space.
I told you this would happen.
You're already seeing, I mean, unions, you know, I mean, unions are whatever.
We can complain about unions another day, but a lot of those union workers, they've come over to the Trump side.
Why?
Because he's actually saying, I'm going to keep your jobs here instead of shipping everything off to China or Mexico, where people are going to work for a fraction of the price.
I mean, I'm not saying we have to produce everything here.
Don't get me wrong.
We've talked about that, right?
Socks and underwear, you know, if you want to make that in Vietnam or Thailand or whatever, maybe the time is better spent so that we can work on high tech manufacturing, semiconductors.
These are the jobs of the future.
Donald Trump gets that.
The Democrats are off in left field.
Here's Harry.
And also in the CNN data, it does show that Republicans are gaining ground in.
An area that is key relating to all of this, which is when it comes to the middle class.
Yeah.
You know, historically speaking, which is the party of the middle class has been a huge advantage for Democrats.
I have polling from NBC going all the way back since 1989, when Democrats had a 23 point advantage.
2016, a 17 point advantage.
But by this decade, we already started seeing declines back in 2022, where you saw that Democrats led, but only by four points, well within the margin of error.
And now in our latest CNN poll among registered voters, which is the party of the middle class?
It is tied?
This, I think, speaks to Democratic ills more than anything else.
They have traditionally been the party of the middle class.
No more.
Donald Trump and the Republican Party have taken that mantle away.
And now a key advantage for Democrats historically has gone adios amigos.
And now there is no party that is the party of the middle class.
Republicans have completely closed the gap, Kate.
All right.
There's a lot of messages and a lot to be learned from these numbers.
I think they've actually taken over.
Like it's more than closing the gap, they've totally taken that space over.
And so you're going to see, like, the AOCs of the world try and get out there and say, Oh, but we can do more for you on the economy, but you guys had a shot.
And it was a miserable freaking disaster.
Okay.
Like just an epic total disaster with inflation and then, you know, not enough jobs.
And what do you see now?
Oh, we're adding jobs.
It was 200 and something thousand two months ago.
And then we got like another 100.
And was it 78,000?
I don't have the numbers off the top of my head, but you know what?
We have them right here.
I want to show you this because they had some CNN commentator on who's going on and on about the economy and saying Donald Trump's doing a terrible job on the economy.
And I'm like.
Guy, like, where did they find you?
This is part of the problem with the media.
They don't actually read the headlines.
He had no clue what the jobs report was.
Where does CNN find these people?
This particular gentleman seems to think that we're losing all kinds of jobs ever since Donald Trump came into office.
It's actually the opposite.
People lost their jobs.
There were material consequences because of the severe disruption.
I'm not sure what percentage.
I'm not percentage.
Well, here's the question.
What percentage of job loss is fine?
But we're not losing jobs.
We're gaining them.
Does he not read the news?
177,000 jobs added to our economy last month.
It was far more than anybody thought.
Consumer confidence is up.
The stock market is up.
Things are good, buddy.
Get a grip.
Yeah, but don't tell him that because that's not going to fit their narrative, right?
So these are devastating new poll numbers.
They don't get why Americans actually think Donald Trump is good on the economy.
But you know what?
Just look at the markets.
That tells you a lot.
And we're looking at a market that's higher again today.
Why?
Trump optimism.
Trump optimism, baby, right?
And there's more of it coming that way.
You heard him.
Over there in the Middle East, remember?
Amazing what a rising market will do.
Oh, it's going to get a lot higher.
In fact, I told people five weeks ago, it's a great time to buy.
I got criticized for that.
Now they don't criticize me anymore.
People should have listened.
But it's going to go a lot higher.
You see, we've never had anything like this happen.
It's an explosion of investment and jobs, and great companies are coming in.
That's good for us.
By the way, just a quick shout out to my76research.com.
I just want to remind you about that.
Rising Markets and Trump Optimism00:06:26
Here's a look at some of our portfolios.
We actually have new data on the top stocks that just came out yesterday for our portfolio.
How should I say this?
Subscribers.
I was going to say holders, but we don't actually manage your money.
You do that.
I think it's actually really, really important for people to take ownership of their own investing, right?
So don't farm it out to somebody else.
Make sure you're doing it.
Make sure you have the right research, though, hopefully to guide you.
steer you in the right direction.
So that is why I created 76 research.
You can use code DOLLAR and just get the 76 report at least.
Or if you're willing to pay a little bit more money, those portfolios are great value for you.
And the idea here is you want to keep beating at least the S&P, right?
And so hopefully over time, this is what we're able to do for you by picking some stocks eight to 10 in each portfolio.
And we've had some tremendous, tremendous winners.
Of course, it's been a very good month, which has a lot to do, right, with the polling data as well.
I mean, very, very good month.
And again, that's why The Democrats are struggling with these awful poll numbers.
One more shout out for American Heart for Gold.
Don't forget our friends over there, TrishLovesGold.com.
You can get up to $15,000 in free silver with qualifying offers.
1-844-495-1115 or text Trish to 65532.
Gold is one of those things.
Let me see how it's doing today.
It's been hitting all-time highs.
It's just actually kind of amazing.
Something that I include in my own portfolio because I consider it a good diversification tool.
But I tend to buy it.
Oh, maybe I'll buy some today.
It's down six tenths of a percent, 33.75 at this point.
Reminder, subscribe, share, like.
It's really important on this show.
We got more coming your way because guys, remember Target?
Ooh, Target kind of losing its pride.
Shall we say that's a nice play on words, right?
I came up with that all on myself, all by myself.
You know, Target was just really like embracing the DEI stuff in ways that will maybe only rival Disney.
And ABC, I mean, Target was like all over, they were getting really weird too.
Remember the satanic stuff that they had?
It was like kids' stuff, it was made by a satanic designer, like these pride things.
That it turned out if you did like two seconds of due diligence on Google, you'd find this designer and learn that this particular designer, whose gender was, you know, kind of up in the air, who the heck knows?
Because there's a whole other thing going, you know, according to the BBC, there's 220 genders.
So, anyway, this particular designer had this whole satanic cult line.
And so, everyday moms are like, wait, what?
Like, first of all, there's all this pride stuff on display.
It wasn't moving.
They had inventory left over for like, they'll have it for the next 10 years.
Anyway, they had all this inventory, and it turns out it's being made by this satanic.
Person, and so that didn't really go over.
Well, you know, with the Target core shopper, shocker.
I mean, for goodness sakes, it's like BUD Light right, they did the exact same thing, BUD Light, shocking.
Shocking that you know the frat boys weren't wild about the guy acting like a woman, Dylan Mulvaney, right.
Uh, that didn't go over so well, surprise anyway.
So they're still kind of challenged.
They have made the decision at Target to stop their pride display.
So they're scaling it back.
They're either putting in the very, very back of the store this month, but for the most part, they're actually just making a decision to keep it online because it gets people a little bit mad when they go into the store and they see it.
And people were boycotting their store because of that.
Of course, now it's the other way around.
You can't win these days, right?
So now it's the other way around.
And some groups, are deciding to boycott Target, in part because it doesn't have enough pride merchandise.
Last month, first quarter earnings revealed a 3.8 year-over-year decline in comparable sales, with 4.7 growth in digital sales failing to offset a 5.7 drop in store sales, the number of in-store transactions like nobody's going there anymore.
They dropped by 2.4.
But let me take you back in time just a little bit.
There's a YouTuber named Alex Stein and, like I had never I didn't know him that well before this now.
I've seen him more frequently, but I thought this was the funniest video I'd ever seen So he's he's joking around.
He's being facetious.
He's a conservative and when target came out with its tucket swimsuit For kids, by the way, like he decided he needed to do a little bit of research.
Let's take a look at this together.
This is not, you guys see this?
It's tuck friendly.
You see?
He's trying it on.
And for our audio listeners, we are watching a flashback to Alex Stein's Tucket swimsuit fitting in which.
Checking out their Tuck Friendly Pride collection.
That's right, guys.
Extra cross coverage, tuck friendly construction.
Thank you, Target.
No, it is.
I don't think this is a tucking one.
Yeah, it is.
Look.
Tuck?
Oh.
Tuck friendly.
Tuck friendly construction.
I mean, can you believe this?
It's actually really funny.
Wow, it's so tuck friendly.
It's nice.
Guys, come on.
I love the tuck friendly bathing suit.
The poor salespeople, like, they don't know what to do with them.
This is nice.
You guys see this?
It's tuck friendly.
Yep.
Okay, so he goes around and he talks to salespeople.
He's like, you know, is it tuck friendly?
It really is tuck friendly.
This, that, and that.
And then he does something to kind of prove that it's totally tuck friendly construction.
Oh, let me get out of the way.
There he is.
He's looking at the camera.
He's showing you.
And then he starts jumping to make sure that you really know it is very, very, very tuck friendly.
You can run in this thing.
You can jump in this thing.
Anyway, you get the picture, right?
Bias Against Capitalism and Pride00:02:54
This was what they were doing.
And it was killing them.
We had Jerry Storch on the show.
I spoke to him.
He's the former vice chairman of Target.
And he's like, what are they doing?
Like, why are you trying to alienate your core customer?
We could ask the same thing.
Why was Bud Light trying to alienate its core customer?
You know why?
Because they had this brainwashed woke thinking coming out of academia, going into marketing that told them this was the way to do things.
Except all these people up in their ivory towers suddenly working in marketing for these. major companies that are trying to service a diverse base of customers, all those woke people in their ivory towers have never actually been in the real world.
Like they don't actually really get how the rest of the world works.
So now if you look at PR Daily, they just came out with this note saying that Target is changing its ways because of all the criticism.
Quote, as we have for many years, we will continue to mark Pride Month by offering an assortment of celebratory products, hosting internal programming to support support our incredible team and sponsoring local events in neighborhoods across the country.
But those products, they're only available online.
That's the thing.
Or in some very select stores.
Don't forget, they actually got kicked out of their own hometown over Pride Month last time with the DEI stances.
And of course, they have to face the administration, et cetera.
So listen, like things are changing.
And I think as we've talked about before, the pendulum swings right now.
It's swinging back to normal.
And that's a good thing.
Like we need some normalcy.
And so it's affecting everything.
It's affecting Target.
It's affecting Disney.
It's affecting ABC, NBC, CNN.
CNN, actually, we learned last night, just let go of one of their key reporters, you guys, a key reporter who was instrumental in really just defaming a veteran.
And CNN had to pay this veteran $5 million in settlement money because of it.
And it was seemingly because this CNN reporter had this tremendous bias against this other guy.
And people are saying it comes from like a bias against capitalism.
I'm like, bias against capitalism?
You're just bias against America at that point, right?
I mean, who are you really?
If you're bias against capitalism, then you don't fundamentally like what this country is.
And that is kind of a problem because I'll tell you, it's what has made this country the great country it is.
Capitalism is about meritocracy.
Meritocracy is about allowing anybody, no matter the color of the skin, no matter their gender, no matter how they look or what, affording them an opportunity.
Familiar Faces and Great Country00:01:38
So when you talk about freedom and you talk about equality, actually it's the GOP that has that one covered in spades.
It's Donald Trump and his administration that are trying to preserve that for everyone.
Not the AOCs of the world, not the Letitia James of the world, not the Monica McIvers of the world who just want to preserve it for the people who are coming in here illegally.
I mean, it's a really twisted form of logic, if you ask me.
By the way, some good news to share.
What are we at?
I'm going to look.
Don's telling you to smash the likes.
Make sure you do, please.
It definitely helps the algorithm.
What else helps the algorithm is that we were just named to one of the top 100 podcasts on YouTube.
What do you know?
They've only had this list out for like three weeks, and we've been on it, guys, all three weeks.
So hopefully we can continue being on it.
So smash those likes.
He's right.
Let me know what you think.
It is good to see so many familiar faces here.
Thank you so much to everyone for all of your wonderful, wonderful, wonderful support.
Don, of course, welcoming back some people that we know well.
Luke Walker, who's been here kind of almost from the beginning, dare I say.
Leslie, I saw you in the chat, cat crazy.
Good to see you guys.
1,800 likes, Don is saying.
So we can do better than that.
I know you can.
I'm going to encourage you to keep liking and to keep sharing your comments.
