I just wanted to triple check all of my sources on this because we're getting some information all about how this whole thing went down with Elon Musk stepping down from Doge momentarily, right?
He said he was going to be on 130 days.
Indeed, 130 days is coming up.
Technically, I think that would be May 30th.
We're going to get to that story.
Lots to talk about right there.

So Elon's going to be out at Doge, sort of, kind of.

Meanwhile, huge win, huge win for, frankly, Donald Trump.
Well, and also Eric Adams.
That case was tossed out.
The judge saying, basically, that was just one big political animal.

So I wanted to completely get the full picture on this because, you know, you read a headline or two in Politico, it's not always the same as what, well, might actually be the truth.
Here we go.
You know, Politico being what Politico is.
Elon Musk, yes, is going to be stepping down from Doge.
Here's the headline.
It's out in Politico first.
Daily Mail had it as well.
So there was a meeting with some members of Trump's inner circle.
And he actually invited the press into the meeting after the fact.
But before the press was invited in, guess what happened?
He told them, you know, Elon's going to be leaving.
Elon's going to be phased out.
You're not going to see as much Elon.
We've seen a lot of Elon.
You got to admit.
I mean, look, I like Elon.
I think he's a smart guy.
I haven't agreed entirely on some of his math.
You know that.
I mean, actually, me and Steve Bannon, I think Bannon called it out as well.
I'm going to get to that in a second.
Bannon has a thing with him, right?
Bannon's not a big fan of Elon Musk.
I think he's a pretty smart guy.
I think he's the guy you want to have around.
I think you do want his algorithms in there examining some of the flaws, shall we say, within our federal government.
But not everybody was so happy about it.
So it created a lot of controversy.
And then, of course, There was the loss of that judge position in Wisconsin last night.
But I want to say one thing.
Any which way this goes down, look, our government, our country is in a better position because we're exposing these inefficiencies.
And my gosh, are there inefficiencies galore, right?
Let's just get to a little few of them that Elon highlighted with Brett Baer.
I guess this would have been Friday on Fox News.
For you, what's the most astonishing thing you've found out in this process?
The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government.
It is astonishing.
It's mind blowing.
Just we routinely encounter wastes of a billion dollars or more, casually.
You know, for example, like the simple survey that was literally a 10 question survey that you could do with SurveyMonkey, cost about $10,000, was the government was being charged almost a billion dollars for that.
For just the survey?
A billion dollars for a simple online survey, do you like the national park?
And then there appeared to be no feedback loop for what would be done with that survey.
So the survey would just go into nothing.
It's amazing, right?
Like the shame that he has discovered, the shame he should feel, I should say, with the waste that he has discovered is, or the shame the country should feel, right?
I mean, it is shameful.
I guess that's where I'm going with this.
It is absolutely shameful what we've discovered.
I mean, $2 million for the trans surgeries in Peru.
You get the hundreds of thousands of dollars going to the DEI musical in Ireland or the transgender opera in Colombia.
I mean, it's really weird what they've been doing.
And so this is massive.
What he has uncovered.
really and truly has been massive.
He was on Fox News just last night.
It's very interesting when you see how many appearances he has done in this run up to this moment today when Donald Trump said, okay, you know, Elon's stepping down.
I think part of that was for Wisconsin, but the other part is he's really trying to get the word out that we need to save money.
I don't necessarily think you're going to see a ton less.
Well, you will see less of it.
Fewer, you know, appearances on Fox News, maybe.
Maybe that's all for the better.
and a little bit more focused perhaps on Tesla, which needs it under the circumstances, given what that poor company is going through, and some of his other companies, and then maybe more of a backseat role, but still, you know, hey, look, the guy runs X, right?
So you're still going to hear from him.
Here he is on Fox News, you know, meeting with a Democrat of epic proportions, one Jessica Tarlov.
You know, I like her.
I like her.
I used to work there.
So we were always friendly.
And, you know, you need somebody who can tell you the other side now and then.
Happened to be her over there.
Let's listen to her with Elon Musk.

My sister has two in her family, so have not thrown any Molotov cocktails recently.
But I wanted to talk to you about what Doge has been doing.
So you've been making cuts to a lot of the agencies that have open investigations and regulatory battles with your companies.
At the same time, you continue to get billions in government contracts.
Tesla gets billions in subsidies.
How do you explain that to the American people?
Well, everything that Doge does is an open book.
So we're, I think, the most transparent action, the most transparent organization in government ever.
Every single Doge action is listed on the Doge.gov website.
It's also listed on the X handle.
So if anyone has a concern about any one of those actions, they can bring that up, they can raise that.
And I do want to say, like, sometimes we make a mistake.
Nobody bats 1,000.
We will at times make a mistake and But make a mistake, we'll act very quickly to correct it.
I am under such an extreme spotlight, so much scrutiny, that it is literally impossible for me to get away with anything nefarious.
And obviously, nor do I wish to.
So, this is a case where we have radical transparency.
We're actually willing to admit that we do make mistakes.
Often, people are not willing to admit they make mistakes, but we are.
But we want to emphasize we fix them quickly, and we're trying to do the right thing for the American taxpayer, for the American people.
And I think history will be the judge.
that what we've done here and what we're doing is a very good thing for the strength and future of America.
He's right.

And that's why that's needed for the strength and the future of America.
I'm telling you guys, like we can't continue on the way we've been going down this path.
I mean, you just can't spend and spend and spend.
You look at the numbers.
Okay.
Joe Biden, he just added jobs and added jobs and added jobs to the government.
He spent at a rate that basically we haven't spent at.
running deficits that didn't look anything like anything we've historically ever seen except when we're in times of war.
That's what Joe Biden did.

The irresponsibility was extreme.
And so, yes, we need Doge.
We need people coming in with a razor-sharp approach and some algorithms to take a look at this messed-up extravaganza that has been created.
Look at Social Security, what they've found there.
Here's Elon out in Wisconsin over the weekend saying, listen, this is important.
We have found all kinds of fraud.
One interesting statistic was that 40% of the calls into Social Security were fraudulent.
Like, meaning that it was someone trying to get a Social Security payment that was going to a senior instead to go to a fraud ring.
So, that was almost half of the phone calls were fraudulent.
Probably the other half were people asking, What happened to my Social Security?
This is true, actually.
Okay, where did my.
Bananas.
Yeah, and we found this actually.
The people there at Social Security knew this was going on and had been complaining about it for a long time, and no one fixed it.
And these were mostly criminal rings outside the country, in other places in the world that are jamming up the phone systems, calling in, using just these simple security questions.
Because you can actually, this was how crazy it was.
You could change your direct deposit information at Social Security by simply answering six questions on the phone, like your mother's maiden name, your date of birth, et cetera.
Wow.
Hang on one second.
Very simple 2FA system.
All this nonsense you've seen the media about, we turned off the phone lines that are not true.
All we did, all they did actually, we recommended to Social Security that they put in a very simple 2FA system.
This is two factor authentication.
Two factor authentication.
They say, same thing with the banks.
Like, pretty simple.
You have a bank account, you do this.
And you know what?
They did it.
They said, yeah, you're right, we should do that.
They went and did it.
Good for them.
They did it.
No one had the will to do it.
They did it.
And they're going to keep increased security.
We've given them a lot more recommendations, and they're on the road to increased security still.
Okay, so this is important, right?
So you've got to shore up the system.
You've got to create a more secure system because you don't want what we saw going on.
And when you look at the next chart I'm going to show you, and maybe you have to turn up the volume a little bit just because it's slightly hard to hear.

But this is Elon talking with, I think that's Antonio Garcia, his colleague there.
And they're looking at this chart.
during the Biden administration of this massive increase in Social Security numbers.
I don't know if it's taxpayer ID or if they're actually Social Security numbers, but the massive increase that was handed out to illegals.
And it just, it doesn't make any sense.
This chart is mind-boggling.

Things are happening, baby, right?
And the markets are up, actually, on the news.
What do you know?
Here is Elon and his colleague there in Wisconsin with the chart from hell.
Got to turn it up.
He was simply asleep at the switch.
It was a massive, large scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of the United States and disenfranchise the American people and make it a permanent, deep blue, one party state from which there would be no escape.
Look, if I hadn't seen this myself, I'm not sure I'd have believed it.
I went through it myself and mapped it, and Elon is right.
This is true.
The defaults in the system from Social Security to all of the benefit programs have been set to max inclusion.
Max pay for these people and minimum collection.
That's what's happening.
We found 1.3 million of them already on Medicaid, as an example.
On every program we went through, we found groups from this particular group of people, this 5.5 million people in those programs.
And then what was really, really disturbing us was why.
We're asking ourselves why.
And so we actually just took a sample and looked at voter registration records.
And we found people here registered to vote in this population, yes.
Whoa!
And we found some by sampling that actually did vote.
And we have referred them to prosecution at the Homeland Secure Investigation Service.
Yeah.
Already.
Already.
That's already happening.
Right now.
Yeah.
And the truly disturbing thing, though, I just want you to know this is a truly disturbing thing to me, and the darkest thing about this to me.
The voter fraud is terrible, but the human tragedy this created is extraordinary.
Because what you don't understand, and people don't know, and Americans need to know, that's why I'm here, is that human traffickers made $13 to $15 billion off of this.
Okay, that's the money that's going around the world moving people around the world through our borders because of these incentives How does it work?
What happens?
Hey, if you're in Africa and you're in South America You got to walk up through Mexico through this America.
Who do you pay?
You pay the narcos you pay the traffickers?
Right And we found, we were told by ICE, it's between 20,000 and 500 bucks to pencil to pick you up to walk across all those countries and get all listen, that's important to understand, right?
The context that that has become a business in and of itself.
And, you know, the humanitarian thing to do is actually say, no, no, no, we do have a border.
We are enforcing the border.
And you should not send your children or your loved ones with these traffickers.
They're going to take your money and put them in harm's way, right?
Part of it is creating an environment that that does not show such appeal, right?
In other words, there will be consequences for being here illegally.
And if you really highlight those consequences, perhaps you're going to, well, not perhaps, I know you will lessen the effect of people wanting to come here in the first place.
I mean, look at border crossings right now.
It's amazing.
They are down 96%.
Axios put a great chart out on this one the other day.
But as far as Elon goes, look, Elon's been doing tremendous stuff.
Tremendous, tremendous stuff.
But you've got to balance all of what, you know, say Politico is saying and the reports.
Oh, he's stepping, that he's out.
I think that part of this was already predestined to a certain extent, right?
Because if I look back on, well, I don't know, Friday's interview with Elon Musk that he did on Fox News with Brett Baer, he said basically his goal was to come in there to spend about 130 days and then to get out.
But to set it up and make sure you had the infrastructure so that you could actually position the country and Doge to be able to do all of these audits.
Here he is.
Kind of telegraphing that this would eventually be coming to an end.
You technically are a special government employee and you're supposed to be 130 days.
Are you going to continue past that or do you think that's what you're going to do?
Well, I think we will have accomplished most of the work required to reduce the deficit by a trillion dollars within that time frame.
So in that time frame, 130 days.
And the process is a report at some point, at 100 days?
Not really a report.
We are cutting the waste and fraud in real time.
So every day that passes, Our goal is to reduce the waste and fraud by $4 billion a day, every day, seven days a week.
And so far we are succeeding.
Yes, I would say so far he is succeeding.
Now, there's been a lot of noise surrounding Elon Musk, noise that, you know, in some ways makes it hard for him to be able to successfully do his job.
It makes it hard for the Trump administration as well.
I'm just going to say, right?
Because there's all this noise.
I mean, think about the noise that we've seen.
It's coming from the left and from the right.
I want to show you, my friend was just out in Seattle and she sent me this last.
Look at this.
You know, all these protesters, of course, it's Seattle.
Of course, they're all out there with their signs.
They're protesting nonstop.
Then this clip appeared on X, a protester just saying, how is it?
They hate Elon Musk.
No, he needs to get out of our government.
We didn't elect him.
He needs to go.
What do you think of Dr. Fauci?
I love Dr. Fauci.
Do you think we elected him?
He was appointed by our president.
Okay.
You get the picture, right?
So there's a lot of hypocrisy, shall we say, there amongst many members of the left.
Elon was taking it from all sides.
He was taking it from all sides because Bannon, who I love, wasn't such a fan either.
And I'm not entirely sure what this was about, except that maybe on the one hand, Bannon didn't love some of the talk about, for example, and I've said this as well, promises of a $5,000 dose check.
There's no way in HE double out.
I ran the math.
My colleague over at 76 Research, Rob Horton, ran the math.
We were looking at this.
There's no way.
No matter what you did, maybe not even five cents.
You're not going to get that kind of savings just yet.
I mean, hopefully down the road, but that seemed to be full of hot air, shall we say.
And it's something that Steve picked up on as well.
And so there's been, I think, this momentum coming from all sides against Elon, which is unfortunate for Elon, unfortunate for Trump.
But I would add this, maybe it's better.
Maybe it's better if Elon Musk is kind of in the background here.
Take a listen to Bannon.
If you can work out the mathematical formulas in the engineering, A complexity of sending a colony of human beings to Mars and keep them alive.
You can work through the math on this and you know it's a bald faced lie.
And here's how I know you know it's a bald faced lie because you cratered as soon as we got up in your grill.
Oh, okay, fine.
Well, I won't fight to the death.
I'm not going to fight to the death in Sherlock Holmes' new time to warfare.
Why don't we reform?
We need reform.
Are you going to some BS answer and you think we're going to buy that?
Where did you come from, dude?
Here's what you need to do you need to study modern.
Political history of the fights we've been through for 12 or 14 years to get to this spot.
You think this is just because people are just wandering around?
People have worked for over a decade pounding this, pounding this, pounding this.
And that's how relentless the established order is.
Because Baccia told you they're making a lot of money and they have control, and this is about money and power.
It's not about race, it's not about gender, it's not about ethnicity, it's not about religion.
That's what they want you to believe it is.

But that dinner with Sachs and that check from Elon came at Biden's, you know, when Biden, you know, in the debate or right before the debate, and Biden, you know, they kind of saw the numbers of where this thing was heading.
They're recent converts, and we love converts.
Hell, I'm a Catholic.
We used to be in the convert business.
Not so much anymore.
We can't keep what we got.
But in the old days, you know, half the saints are missionaries.
We love converts.
But the converts sit in the back and study.
For years and years and years to make sure you understand the faith and you understand the nuances of the faith and understand how you can internalize the faith.
Don't come up and go to the pulpit in your first week here and start lecturing people about the way things are going to be.
If you're going to do that, we're going to get and we're going to rip your face off.
Because you can't beat us.
We're not beatable.
This army of the awakened is not beatable because we're relentless and we will never surrender and we will never slow down.

But Elon did help, all right?
And that's what you heard Bannon say in between all of that.
He's sort of saying, hey, kid, you sit in the back row.
Sure, we'll take your money.
But you're just, you know, Johnny come lately.
And there are people that have been fighting this battle and have, by the way, sacrificed a lot, whether it be Steve.
I mean, for goodness sakes, the guy went to jail.
Yours truly, right?
Getting, you know, kicked out of her seat.
That's okay.
It all worked out in the end, right?
In March 2020.
It's all fine.
But I would also say that Elon's too paid a price, right?
Elon's dealing with, you know, people trying to commit violent acts.
against Tesla dealerships.
He's dealing with his stock price tanking because, oh, everybody's like pulling it's actually doing better today.
I think investors are kind of happy thinking maybe he's going to come back into the fray.
But again, I just want to like, I want to reiterate that he did say that he was just going to be there 130 days.
I think having Elon a little bit more behind the scenes, less sort of out in front of everything isn't necessarily a bad thing.
And the reason is, one, okay, you get folks like Bannon, who I love, and Bannon's not wrong.
Like, I get it.
He just came to this movement pretty recently.
But you also have the view and mainstream media pounding every single day, oh, this idea that, you know, Elon Musk is the billionaire and somehow Trump is working for him.
And that message, unfortunately, was something that I think captured the minds of a lot of people, a lot of people that think, oh, you know, he's just doing Elon's bidding.
And that's not necessarily a message that you want going down.
So is the timing sort of coincidental?
You think about Wisconsin and the lack of success there.
the Democrat judge being elected, and despite all the money that was put into that, and then you think about some of the messaging and some of the hiccups they've had along the way, I would just say this, you know what?
The very best messenger that we have on the economy is one Donald Trump himself.
He's the guy that has made trade deficits exciting again.
He's the guy with the Liberation Day movement and make America wealthy again.
We're going to get to all of that because he's made the importance of trade front and center.
And so while you have the tech guys and the tech bros and they're really, really important because trust me, we need to be moving forward in this economy.
We don't need to be moving backwards.
But we still need manufacturing too.

Think about it from a national security standpoint.
from an economic standpoint, all of the reasons that you need a thriving middle class in America, that all relates back to having a strong manufacturing base, which means you can't be running off doing things like NAFTA.
Thank you very much, Bill Clinton, which means you do need a level playing field.
When it comes to trade, Donald Trump gets that.
But he also gets the importance of being front and center on the technology front, which is something that Elon understands, something that the cryptos are.
David Sachs understands something that a lot of the people, I think you've got a very smart team.
Scott Besant there, a sophisticated financier there as Treasury Secretary.
So lots of reasons still to be extremely positive on everything, everything that's happening right now.
But I think having Elon involved, at least from the 60,000 feet viewpoint where he's able to then go out and implement some of his data, that's going to matter.
That's really important because think of what he's found.
I want to go back to his interview there on Fox where they're talking about, All kinds of crazy stuff that was just discovered courtesy of these algorithms.
That's a jaw dropping number.
Where did all those people come from?
Well, it made my jaw drop too when I saw it.
You know, we were in Social Security looking for fraud, waste, and abuse.
And to do that, we actually looked at the enumeration system, the system by which people get numbers in America.
And we found that there were just about five plus million of them that came to the country as illegals, were giving various forms of parole or allowed in the country, and they got through an automatic system, Social Security numbers.
So, they get into our benefit systems.
And we tracked that through and found that they were on the benefit programs.
And just because we were curious, we then looked to see if they were on the voter rolls.
And we found in a handful of cooperative states that there were thousands of them on the voter rolls and that many of them had voted.
That's crazy because you cannot vote in a federal election, but I think in certain local elections you can.
But once you get a social security number, that helps you do a lot of stuff.
I know, Antonio.
Part of this started with a program from, I think, 2017 that got started, where if people came into the country and they were authorized to work, they would automatically give them a number.
But, you know, Elon was talking a little bit about how 400,000 Social Security numbers were stolen.
It was one person.
What can you tell us about that?
You know, that's an ongoing investigation, so I don't know how much I can tell you, but we did find as we looked through the programs, a particular employee that had actually sent themselves Social Security numbers through their email.
for reasons we don't understand, but clearly nefarious.
Yeah, clearly, clearly nefarious.
But again, like, and that's the Valor CEO, by the way.
I think you need to bring this kind of sophistication in from a technology standpoint into government, which is antiquated enough so that you have the security and so that you have the transparency.
And so, look, if he's maybe taking on a lesser role in some way, shape, or form, as he originally intended to, right?
Again, going back to the 130 days, then I actually think behind the scenes is actually going to work out sort of for the best.
As I pointed out, Tesla stock owners like it very much.

She's a total nut job.

Anyway, she's gone now and she had to do these hearings yesterday and it was totally insane and totally crazy.
But thank God.
All I can say is thank God she's out of there.
It's really important.
Actually, Elon, think of the contribution, not just from the financial standpoint in terms of what he was able to offer Donald Trump, not just from the logistical standpoint that he provided, not just the algorithms, but I think just buying X because I remember a time when, you know, my friends were getting canceled every other day.
I went through it on some other platforms.
Look, the cancel culture was on steroids and you couldn't actually get your position or your thoughts or your viewpoint out in any way, shape, or form at one point in time.
Don't forget, we had 51X spooks telling us that the Hunter Biden laptop was somehow just a bunch of misinformation fed to you by Rudy Giuliani.
That lady that I just mentioned, she even did a little song that she tuned to Mary Poppins.

Anyway, speaking of misinformation they went after Eric Adams with all they could, the New York City mayor.
Why?
Oh, because you see, it seems that Eric Adams, way back in 2023, said some things that, oh, I don't know, the Biden administration wasn't too happy about because he had to suddenly spend $7 billion a year taking care of migrants that they were just pouring into New York.
And you know, and I know why.
Remember the New York Times headline saying they had 800,000 migrants they wanted to allow to vote in local elections?
I mean, you heard what Elon and his team just discovered.
Well, Eric Adams wasn't too happy about this.
Here he is in 2023.
We had to do a real job of explaining to everyday New Yorkers that the federal government has abandoned this important issue that's a national issue.
So they're angry, and it's going to come out.
I'm the mayor.
He was out there saying this is a big freaking deal.
In other words, we can't pay for all these people.
And so what did he do?
He came out against the free-flowing open borders.
Well, you couldn't do that under the Biden administration.
I mean, if you were a reporter, you'd have the Ministry of Truth all after you.
If you were the mayor of New York, suddenly, oh, I don't know, you're being accused of all kinds of crimes.
Yeah, and at the time, he was accused of bribery, by the way.
They said he was taking bribes from Turkish officials and had been doing this over the years.
At the time that this was all coming out, I guess they went after him in around 2024.
He called him out again.
He blamed Biden.
Your second question, I think you need to ask the federal prosecutors who gave the directive and the orders.
I don't know, but we should ask them who gave the directive and orders that we're going to take on and create.
this group of lies.
They have the answer to that question.
When it comes down to reading it, I peruse through it to get the top lines.
The attorneys are going to dig into the crevices of it, but it is clear.
Everyone that knows me knows I follow campaign rules and I follow the law.
That is how I lived my life, and I don't see coming into the 60s.
But he said it was all political.
They were after him because he dared, right, to speak up and say, maybe this isn't working.

As I've said all along, This case should have never been brought.
And I did nothing wrong.
I'm now happy that our city can finally close the book on this and focus solely on the future of our great city.
Yeah, you know, that dismissing the case without prejudice, that's actually a big deal.
So it was dismissed, which means it never should have been brought in the first place.
But his point about being dismissed with prejudice, I think that's actually a pretty big deal as well.
Because if I look at this here, basically what the judge said in this 78-page ruling, is that it cannot be used as leverage over Mayor Adams or the city of New York in the future.
So there is one, and the laugh will go nuts with this.
It's kind of like there's something for everyone, right?
Because he did say there's no power to compel the Department of Justice to prosecute the case, so therefore, what are you doing, right?
It's not like Pam Bondi is going to run in and go after this one.
But separately, and this is the important part that I think helps proves his innocence here, by prohibiting the indictment from being renewed, it ensured that the prospect of future charges, quote, cannot be used as leverage over Mayor Adams or New York City.
So that's a big deal.
That's a win for Donald Trump, really, when you think about it.
Because what it proves is that you had a rabid prosecutor once again going after him for political reasons.
It's just like what we saw with Letitia James.
In that case, it's the state of New York, the attorney general that went after Donald Trump for political reasons in an attempt to bury him, to bankrupt him.
And you know what?
His outstanding bill in that particular case right now, for something that never, ever should have been brought to begin with.
Do you know?
It's over 500 million dollars, because you know it was like 400 and something.
And then they had interest.
Imagine that and there's the Second Court OF Appeals in New York City and they're just sitting on this thing.
They're not doing a darn thing.
Where the hell are they?
Come on guys, it's time, wake up.
Are they just trying to like, hold this over his head just in case he does anything like?
Is that what you heard them?
You heard the judges.
I'm not going to go back and play it again, but You've heard me do this many times, right?
I've shown you how all of these appellate court judges were like, yeah, there's no victim here.
Like, what kind of case is this?
Why are you bringing this?
We've never heard of anything like this.
This doesn't make any sense.
This was a private transaction between Donald Trump and his banker, Deutsche Bank.
There were no victims.
Everybody was happy.
The bank itself was like, yeah, well, you know, we did our due diligence.
We were comfortable with these valuations.
We were comfortable with everything that he said.
And yet somehow he's now still.
facing a more than $500 million fine because Leticia James went after him politically, just like they were trying to do with Eric Adams.
You see how this is all related and how disgusting it is.
And frankly, the one thing we absolutely need to do is shape this up so that this kind of political vendetta stuff cannot happen.
I mean, and so I'm happy.
I'm happy for Eric Adams.
Look, you know, they don't like him because he got rid of the $300 a week cards.
As though New York could afford that.
as though New York could afford to pay Pakistan for the Roosevelt Hotel there in midtown Manhattan where they were housing these migrants six months at a time with daily maid service.

I actually saw the ladies on The View starting to sound like they agreed, if you would, agreed with the White House Correspondents Association for getting rid of this crazy comedian.
I don't know if you followed this story, but there's this woman.
Her name is Amber Ruffin.
I had never heard of her before.
She is the comedian that they hired to be at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
Now, White House Correspondents' Dinner, I've been to it a few times over the years.
It's really just kind of an annoying, like, who's who in media and Hollywood and blah, blah, blah.
and they get up there and they usually have a comedian and everybody gets together.
And the spirit of it was back when you didn't have a lot of access, say to the press, they would do this or to the president.
I guess we kind of had that in the Biden years.
They would do this as kind of a thing to build camaraderie, et cetera.
And it's just kind of ballooned into a Hollywood, you know what, show over the years and is kind of a giant cluster, you know what.
All right.
So anyway, it would have been really bad this year if they had gone forward with this woman.
I want to show you what she's saying here.
And it's like, it's almost like Kathy Griffin style.
Like she's really bad.
She basically hates anybody who's MAGA.
Okay.
Just know that.
So I say this is she should come with a warning label.

So she's got all the boxes checked.
I don't know what her sexuality is.
I'm sure that's checked too, right?

And then and then they realize at some point, you know, maybe this isn't appropriate.
Maybe this isn't a good look.
Not a good look for us.
I mean, not when you get the FCC breathing down your back, right?
Networks, because the FCC still has some control over your airwaves and issues the licenses to all your affiliates.
And by the way, you were 99.9% of the time always against Trump and 99.9% of the time always for Kamala or Biden.
So what do you know?
The view agrees with me, or at least one of them does.
They're really highlighting her lately because you see, they're in a whole lot of trouble and they don't know what to do up a creek without a paddle.
It feels great.
It makes them feel like human beings.
But they shouldn't get to feel that way because they're not.
You know, it's a funny thing free speech.

What do you think about the decision to drop her?
So, at first, I thought the White House Correspondents Association were being a bunch of cowards, but then I watched that.
And the most important thing that journalists need to do in this moment is be able to show that they can objectively, without fear or favor, Cover this administration and objectively is the key word.
And for a lot of Americans, when there's record high distrust in the media, if you have them sitting in a room with somebody who basically said Trump administration officials are subhuman, there were a bunch of murders, it adds to distrust in the press.
It comes off as a kind of a tacit endorsement of what she's saying.
And I think it's an important event to highlight good journalism.
My worry is without having a comedian altogether that that will fall by the wayside and fewer people will tune in.
Why would you say no?
I go for the funny part.
I actually support the decision.
And I worked with most of the people in the White House Correspondents Association.
Eugene Daniels is a very serious journalist, and I think it was actually the prudent decision.
Yeah.
Like, duh, it was an obvious decision.
Like, how is there any debate about this, ladies and gentlemen?
It's like, you know, Disney flipping out because they got a Snow White actress that actually needs to appeal to the flyover states that she doesn't care about, Rachel Zegler, saying that you should rot in H E double L for the rest of your life if you've been a MAGA supporter, that Trump should never know peace and his supporters should never know peace, along with a few bad words.
So, like, I'm sorry.
Like, that's not a good look for the press.
It's not a good look for Hollywood because America elected him.
And guess what?
America would elect him again.
He won the popular vote and he won the entire electoral college.
Guys, like, get this through your head.
You are the ones that are out of touch.
And so now they're kind of coming to this realization and Disney's sort of realizing, oh, boy, maybe we ought to listen because you see, if we don't, there is this little thing called the FCC and the FCC has now launched an investigation.

And I'm telling you, what the media did to him was not fair.
What the media did to MAGA and to everyday Americans was not fair.
And what these organizations did vis-a-vis their DEI, you know what?
That was actually unconstitutional and against FCC rules.
I mean, in other words, you can't discriminate against someone and not give somebody a job because somebody else has a certain skin color, which is exactly what was going on.
I mean, you look at the inclusion standards across ABC requiring 50% or more of regular cast members to be drawn.

Then you had the forcing of racial and identity quotas at every level of production.
That's been reported with 50% or more writers, directors, crew, vendors being selected based on their group identity.
This is a problem.
What I love about what Brendan Carr is doing though, he's going back and he's looking not just what's happening now, but what happened in the past.
What happened in the past because they did all kinds of things.
Gina Carano lost her job because of this DEI nonsense.
There was a lot of this going on, but I think that like it's coming to realization there.
At Disney right now, they're figuring out, okay, we're in a lot of trouble.
And so we're going to have to kind of reorient things, which is why after the election, all of a sudden, Whoopi Goldberg, who told us that Donald Trump was going to round up gays and round up people of color and put them in camps.

You see, they've had layoffs there and they've sat her down and they've said, you know, we really need to actually think about our credibility.
And whoopee, let's be honest, like you haven't helped it.
So suddenly she's the voice of reason on The View.
That has to do with one thing and one thing only.
Ladies and gentlemen, she's worried about her paycheck, period.
Okay, and there's nothing wrong with that.
I get it.
She's worried about her paycheck.
She wants to make sure she stays employed.
She wants to make sure that the show stays on the air, which, by the way, is pretty darn debatable right about now.
So she's worried about the bottom line.
But I think it's important to remember that because I think she's always just been worried about the bottom line.
I don't think she's ever cared about anything other than the bottom line.
So when she sat there and was saying all the other stuff, it's because it worked for her.
For whatever reason, she was given license to do that and to be completely reckless, and it worked for her, and that's what she did.
And now, well, maybe it's not working for her anymore.
Unbelievable.
I mean, you think about how it was working for her in part because you had people like Biden's disinformation, misinformation, and ministry of truth person.
There's Nina Jakonowicz, she got to testify.
I showed you some of this yesterday, but this is just unbelievable.
I mean, first of all, she's the most annoying person you've ever met or seen ever.

She's an expert on online disinformation.
Information laundering is really quite ferocious.

But that's just part of it, you know, her little musical number that she would do.
Here's the testimony where she's speaking there before the House Foreign Intelligence Committee.

They're quizzing her on all this stuff because she was deciding whether or not information was getting out or not.
This was an arm of the State Department.
Department, by the way, goes back to Elon Musk.
Thank goodness he bought X, because otherwise we would have still been living in a world where everybody was banned.
For goodness sakes, they banned the President of the United States.
They kept the Ayatollah and they banned President Trump.
I believe it's my patriotic duty to do so because the premise of this hearing, the so called censorship industrial complex, is a fiction that has not only had profound impacts on my life and safety, but on our national security.
More alarmingly, this fiction is itself suppressing speech.
And stymieing critical research that protects our country.
I want to acknowledge the irony we're having this discussion as we witness an assault on the First Amendment we have not seen in decades.
The Trump administration has directed far more egregious violations of our Constitution than the imagined actions of the Biden administration on which this hearing is premised.
Each one is chilling, but as a Fulbright alumna, the recent arrest of Rumessia Osterk, a Fulbright PhD student at Tufts University, especially disturbed me.
The Secretary of State seemingly revoked Ms. Osturk's visa for publishing an op ed in Tufts campus newspaper.
For using her constitutionally protected right to free speech, she was spirited away by plainclothes ICE officers in broad daylight.
Because they think she's a freaking spy.
Okay, that's what's going on, Nina, because she's from another country.
She's from Turkey and she's pushing a Hamas agenda.
This is what the State Department had to say about it.
Basically, that she was pushing an agenda that wasn't in line with our foreign policy.

Marco Rubio has every right, thanks to a 1952 law that enables him and came out of the Cold War era.
You're not in line with our foreign policy and you're here on a student visa.

It's actually called the McCarran Walter Act, also known as the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952.
And basically, it enables the State Department or Homeland Security to deny or revoke visas, including student visas. based on security grounds.
It also bars entry to individuals for reasons such as membership in subversive organizations, perceived threats to national security, or any other criteria that, again, is perceived as a threat.
So I'm sorry, but the Tufts student who's out there engaging in Hamas support is not going to have a place at Tufts University, which, by the way, is federally funded in part in this playbook, right?

So he writes up this scam report, gets paid by Fusion GPS, which gets paid by Perkins COY, which gets paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign, and then in the meantime, Comey with all his honeypot operations finding ways to be able to wiretap Trump Tower.

And this woman wants to sit there and tell you like it's fictional to think that anything, anything perverse happened.

So suddenly all the money that used to go for propaganda overseas could suddenly be used for propaganda right here in a big giant psychop against us.
So if you wonder why the media has been so insane, why the likes of Whoopi Goldberg would say the things she said or Joe Scarborough or any of these people trying to suggest that somehow Donald Trump is the next Hitler, I mean, think about how disgusting that is to say in and of itself.
to everyone that died in World War II, to all of our allies that died, to all of our U.S. troops that died, to all of the Jewish people that were massacred.
I mean, my gosh.
And they sit there with a straight face and they try and tell you he's an ex-Hitler.
They say the same thing about Elon Musk as well.

Amazon making a play for TikTok.

And we have breaking news Amazon making a last minute bid to buy TikTok in the U.S.
This massively popular social media app is facing a deadline later this month to separate from its Chinese owner.
President Trump is meeting with Vice President Vance and other top advisors about TikTok today.
NBC News business and data correspondent Brian Chung joins us.
Brian, what do we know about this?
Yeah, and a source familiar with the matter can confirm to NBC News the original report from the New York Times saying that Amazon had put in this last minute bid to acquire all of TikTok.
However, the source did stress to NBC that it was not seen as a serious bid.
Again, what we're talking about here is that deadline of Saturday for TikTok to be sold by its Chinese owner, ByteDance, or else face a ban in the United States.
And if this is deja vu to those that have been following the TikTok story, that's because we had the same conversation back in January, shortly after the Supreme Court.
Upheld the law that was passed on a bipartisan basis and signed into law by former President Joe Biden that did that exact ban, basically telling them to divest or face being shut down entirely in the United States.
The current president, Donald Trump, announced just as he was getting inaugurated, essentially, that he was going to effectively not enforce that law up until this deadline of this Saturday.
And now you do have this scramble to try to find buyers.
There have been a number of high profile names that have thrown their names into the ring for potentially buying TikTok, like Kevin O'Leary, as well as.
Alexis Ohanian, now Amazon apparently part of that mix as well.
To be seen whether or not any of these bids will ultimately be the one to win it all by the time we get to Saturday.
But of course, a lot can happen between now and then.
But a lot happening in D.C. and a lot of eyes on potentially who could be the next owner of TikTok if the Chinese government permits it, which is another wrinkle here, Jose.
Yeah, big, big wrinkle there.

Like, let's put it under U.S. ownership, for goodness sakes.
Right?
I mean, why are we giving all this data to China?
Come on.
I mean, like that, it's a lot of data too.

But like every time I go on, it's like, can we get your contacts?
Can we get your contacts?
And I'm like, no, no, no, you can't get my contacts.
You want to actually really limit what information they have.
So this is the sticking point.
Will China actually agree to this?
That's not really clear, but if they get out of the U.S. market, it's going to be a big hit.
It's also going to be a big hit to some of the U.S. investors there that have invested in ByteDance, including Susquehanna, KKR, General Atlantic, some of the big sort of private equity companies that have taken stakes in this company.
But again, this deadline is coming up on Saturday.
There's 170 million users here in the U.S.
It's amazing that this thing got so big as quickly as it did.
And I'll tell you, I'll tell you, it's actually, in and of itself, you want to talk about, let me just say, like, I'm not a huge fan of TikTok because I'm always in the doghouse there every other day.
I did something on the Clinton Global Foundation just a couple weeks ago.
Ooh, that thing kept coming back and coming back and coming back as a violation of community standards.
And I'm like, why exactly?
All I did was talk about how much money they made.
And it seemed kind of weird that she was Secretary of State and her husband was running this massive charity organization that was taken in all this money.
How is that like a violation of community standards?
How is that hate speech?
I don't get it.
Anyway, that's TikTok for you.
So take TikTok with a grain of salt.
I'm not really going to miss it if they're gone, I'll be honest.
But, you know, I should say that like 140 million other people apparently would because they're really into TikTok.
And Kevin O'Leary has talked about it as being important for small businesses.
I don't know.
I'm over there because I have this belief that at some point it will get bought by a U.S. company.
And when it does, it'll be a little bit more fun.
Speaking of fun, today is what they're calling Liberation Day.
We are moments away from Donald Trump in the Rose Garden revealing what these reciprocal tariffs will be.
My buddy Steve Moore, who is a brilliant economist and has been an architect of some of the Trump tax cuts in the past, he's actually been a tremendous advisor throughout many, many administrations.
I want you to see what he's saying on all of this.
And by the way, let me just start by saying I totally agree with him.

You cannot have every other country in the world charging us tariffs and us charging nothing.
Because that hurts our ability to compete.
I think that what we're going to hear is a lot about this idea of reciprocal tariffs, as you just mentioned.
The idea that the United States does have the lowest tariffs virtually in the world.
And as Trump has been saying, these other countries are ripping us off.
They're not playing by the rules of the game, it's not a level playing field.
And I'm a free trade guy.
I believe it's beneficial to the world to lower tariffs as much as possible.
If Trump's policies work out here, I do believe at the end of the day that there will be a lowering of tariffs around the world.
Our tariffs are about 3 or 4 or 5 percent, and many other countries are above 20 percent.
And so that just is something we can't live with.
And at the end of the day, this could be a liberation from those high tariffs that these other countries are charging American made, whether it's cars or whether it's our manufactured items or whether it's technology.
It simply isn't a fair trading system right now.
No, it's absolutely not a fair trading system right now.
And you know what?
ever talked about this before Donald Trump because both sides were perfectly fine because it sort of worked for them and their donor class.
Okay, they didn't care about the middle class of America.
They didn't care what happened to manufacturing workers.
Bill Clinton was all too fast to say, well, NAFTA is great.
Like NAFTA is going to actually increase free trade and it'll all work out.
Well, you know what?
It didn't work out for the people that lost their jobs.
And I would just say this, sure.
Okay, you need the United States of America to be cutting edge in terms of technology.
We need to own that space.
But simultaneously, we need to own that manufacturing space because guess what?
We see a repeat of, oh, 2020 all over again.
And suddenly all your distribution chain gets just mucked up.
You can't get basic products anymore because they're not being made in China and they're not being made in Vietnam.
Well, then you got a problem.
And that's just, you know, best case scenario.
Worst case scenario is you're actually in conflict with one of these countries.
And suddenly you don't have any factories to produce the basic stuff that you are going to need.
So you've got both sides, the political elites that have contributed to what I like to call an hourglass economy, right?
With a lot on top and a whole lot on the bottom.
And they want to just keep bringing them in on the bottom, bringing them in, bringing them in, give them tons of free stuff, keep them happy.
And then the people that are out there working for a living, in some case two or three jobs, so that they may be lucky enough to send their kids to one of these fancy schmancy schools where they're going to teach them nothing, or maybe take a vacation once or twice a year, guess what?
They're the ones that are paying the price.
And they're the ones whose jobs you're willing to just export.
And send away.
And so finally, somebody cares, somebody's standing up to this, and that somebody is Donald Trump.
Hakeem Jeffries, he doesn't get it.
It's his party that led us to this mess, by the way.
It's his party that spent all the money, hired government workers, sent two million dollars for trans operations down to Peru, Hakeem Jeffries, trying to say, it's not liberation day, it's recession day.
Oh buddy, you just don't get it, do you?
The very beginning of this Congress, House Democrats have continued to make clear that we are fighting hard to build an affordable economy that drives down the high cost of living for everyday Americans.
Because the cost of living in America is too high.
Housing costs are too high, grocery costs are too high, childcare costs are too high, utility costs are too high, and insurance costs are too high.
America is too expensive.
Donald Trump and House Republicans, aren't doing anything about the affordability crisis in the United States of America.
We were told that grocery costs were going to go down.
Whoa, So I have to say something, okay?
Because like we're watching this together, right?
And Hakeem Jeffries, woohoo, doesn't get any of it.
Doesn't get any of it.
You guys are the ones that drove up the cost of everything.
Right now, we're trying to fix it, okay?
We're trying to fix it.
And for you to sit there and say that, you know, like only Trump is going to benefit from this.
It makes no sense.
You know what the reality is?
You guys are terrified because Donald Trump stole your thunder, stole your platform.
You were supposed to be about the working class.
But guess what?
You weren't.
You didn't care two bits about the working class.
Instead, you just kept exporting their jobs because you had a lot of donors that it worked for.
And you had a complete imbalance in the capital labor equation that we're going to get to.
But first, let's let him make his peace and dig himself in further.
On day one of the Trump presidency, costs aren't going down in America.
They're going up and the Trump tariffs are going to make things more costly in the United States of America.
House Republicans.
Why do I feel like I'm listening to Kamala Harris?
It's like the male version of Kamala Harris.
Senate Republicans and Donald Trump haven't done a single thing to lower the cost of living in this country, not a single bill.
Not a single executive order, not a single administrative action.
Okay, I have to get rid of him.
He's just such low energy.
You guys are like, what's wrong with him?
What's wrong with him?
I'm looking at your comments.
Did he stay up all night listening to Cory Booker?
Well, that was a giant waste of time.
Cory Booker just trying to make headlines for the longest speech ever, 25 hours.
Maybe that's his problem.
Maybe it's something else.
I don't know, but he doesn't understand economics.
What's actually happening in this moment in time is somebody is standing up for everyday Americans in ways that we have not seen in a very long time.
When you think about that hourglass economy and you think about how everyday folks are getting squeezed in the middle despite working hard, paying their bills, paying their taxes, and then you have all these people coming in and living off their tax money that they've contributed.
Staying in hotels in New York City and Midtown Manhattan and getting $300 a week vouchers for their ethnically appropriate food.
Come on.
And then you think about the billionaires, you know, just living high off the hog.
For goodness sakes, you look at the private equity fat cat tax loophole.
That tells you everything, right?
If you're a private equity player contributing to these Democrats' campaigns, guess what?
You don't have to pay actual income tax.
No, they call it something else.
I mean, it's unbelievable.
And so both sides, frankly, you know, you can lump in conservatives with this bunch too.
They've played the game.
And then all of a sudden, Donald Trump comes in town.
He's like, nope, yep, this isn't working for us.
This isn't going to work for the country.
First of all, we're going to pay our bills.
We're going to reduce our debt and deficits.
And then we're going to make it a level playing field.
So, hey, you know what, Europe, if you want to charge 25% on us, we're going to charge 25% too.
How do you like that?
Otherwise, we're just stuck having to depress our currency and devalue our dollars so that you people can afford to buy our goods.
But what if we just all got rid of tariffs?
Hey, maybe that's the direction this takes, where everybody goes to zero tariffs because nobody wants us tariffing them more than they tariff us.
Right now, this is not fair.
Like it's, I'm going to use one of the left's fancy words.
This is not equity, okay?
There's no way that this is equity at all.
This is completely inequitable.
And so Donald Trump is saying, I need to change this.
Yes, we need to grow in terms of AI and he's big into crypto and all of these things that are part of the future, but simultaneously, you've got to make sure that you get a foundation.
And that means creating a thriving domestic manufacturing sector, having reasons for things to be made here instead of overseas.
You know, I've said, I've said I'd be willing to pay a whole lot more for an iPhone or any other widget you're going to offer me if I know that that's actually going to contribute to the American economy.
and create American jobs.
They worry, okay, it's going to create inflation.
I think you had Chuck Schumer with some quote, it's going to be $3,000 tax on the American consumer.
I'm not going to sugarcoat anything.
Like, listen, I don't know what the actual real-time impact is going to be in terms of inflation.
I think he's taken on something extremely hard, and I think he freaking doesn't care because he's like, you know what?
I got one shot at this.
One shot at the apple, baby, and I need to do what's right.
And what's right?
We need to make sure that we create an equitable environment for American companies and American workers.
Unions didn't help them.
The unions were all too happy to say, okay, Bill Clinton, what do you want?
You know, they just roll over.
Obama, what do you want?
Roll over.
I mean, nobody was willing to stand up to wealthy shareholders, CEOs, unions.
It happened on both sides.
So he scares the living daylights out of them.
And I'll say this, like, look, it could have.
an inflationary effect.
I think everybody needs to be sort of prepared for that.
And the left is going to double down and say, oh, Trump created this inflation.
But I will tell you this, if it does have an inflationary effect, the effect will be temporary.
Why?
Because, okay, so now you can't go get the widget from China for cheap, cheap, cheap.
But you're going to probably wind up buying the widget here in the USA.
And maybe it's going to cost a little bit more at first, but eventually that all evens out.
And so eventually, and let's hope before midterms so that it's not a train wreck, come midterms, eventually you see the stabilization.
within inflation.
My colleague over at 76 Research and I, remember investinmaga.com, investinmaga.com, don't forget that.
We did this the other day on our little YouTube channel and we showed a chart.
I'm seeing if I can pull up this chart because it's remarkable, if you would, the sort of difference between what Republicans and Democrats think is happening from an inflationary standpoint.
So this is the University of Michigan Senate Index that came out the other day and it shows that people really believe inflation.
See the blue line?
If you're a Democrat, you think inflation next year is going to be 6.5% higher.
If you're a Republican, you actually think it's going to be negative.
Like, oh no, you think it's going up a little bit, but only one-tenth of a percent.
So there's a real disparity there.
What is it really going to be?
My hunch is inflation is going to come in somewhere between 2% and 3%.
And that would be great.
You know, usually the Fed shoots for 2% to 2.5%.
It's come down in the last two reports.
It's just the recent PCE indicator that was slightly higher than expected.
But it shows you how the left is so hellbent on their view of the world and the Hakeem Jeffries trying to tell you, oh, it's all getting bad.
And that's not actually reality.
Reality is something very different.
And I would say we don't know what this is going to mean in terms of tariffs in the here and now.
we really don't.
It may mean a little bit of inflation, but I actually think Americans are willing to put up with some of this if it means a better course for our future, a better future for our kids.
I mean, there's a lot at stake in a moment like this.

But I would say a couple of things.
One, markets want this in that they want clarity.
Right now, the markets are desperate for clarity.
And it's kind of all over the mulberry bush.
And one day it's 50% tariffs and another day it's 25%.
Percent tariff.
So we'll see where it all shakes out.
They want the clarity.
So that's important from a market standpoint.
It's why you're looking at a market that's actually rallying today.
You wouldn't think so right on a day like today, and yet the market is rallying because it's like okay, let's get this one out of the way.
So that's important.
And then it's important for American workers to actually have a fighting shot.
So lots going on today.
