Second hour now upon us, ladies and gentlemen, as we continue to dissect and take a look at everything that has happened since Election Day, November the 5th.
Only 11 days ago, but it's a world apart.
And I got to say, with all sincerity, I really love and have a great time on all of the shows that invite me on.
I am friends with so many of these hosts and just love them dearly.
But there's just something about when I'm on with Ethan Ralph on the kill stream.
We just have a ball, and we had a ball again just a few days ago, right before the election, and I couldn't get him back on TPC quick enough.
So he is here with us now, originally from the Memphis area, but now down in Mexico.
Now, tell us the truth.
Now, we've got coming to the ultimate authority on the election, and we sit back with bated breath in all to hear what you have to say about it.
First off, thank you so much.
Thank you so much, James, for that excellent introduction.
Thank you, Keith.
I know Courtney's here as well.
I'm honored to be here, your 20th year.
Next year will be my 10th year.
So, you know, you kind of invented this genre, really.
Although we do, you know, some internet drama.
It's mixed in.
College Prime Minister Radio.
Yeah, yeah.
But in terms of interviewing, I would say, you know, controversial, dissident guests and, you know, more mainstream guests, you kind of pioneered that.
And that's kind of what the killstream does, mixed in with some internet drama and stuff, too.
So we kind of have a smorgasbord program, but it's, you know, it's focused on politics.
And yeah, I am down in Mexico.
We were just talking about Mexico during the break.
I'm in the safe part of Mexico, though.
So nobody has to worry about that.
Still can't drive home, though, right?
Well, you know, what's funny is I actually drove.
So I'm from Memphis.
I lived in South Carolina, Greenville, Spartanburg area for a while, eight years actually.
And then Richmond, the former capital of the Confederacy.
I lived there for eight years.
I unfortunately watched him tear old Stonewall down.
I was there on the scene when they did that.
Now, I acted like I was, you know, I didn't let anybody know I was against it while I was filming it, but I was.
But anyway, I was there on the scene for that, and it was a travesty.
But I drove from Richmond all the way to Merida.
And unconsciously, yes, I did.
I drove all the way through Mexico.
I did not realize that I was driving through a place called Tama Lipas, which happens to be one of the most dangerous places in the world, maybe.
And I drove through there, and I had my stuff in the car.
I have to remember not to work blue here since we're on the radio.
I had my stuff in the car and my dog and my cat.
And they stopped me.
And my Spanish is not that good.
And it was even worse than.
And they said, what are you doing?
One of them spoke English, said, what are you doing here?
And I said, well, I'm going to Merida.
You know, I'm moving here.
He said, why?
You don't even speak Spanish.
I was like, well, I just decided to move here.
And they thought it was hilarious.
And so on my way I went.
I didn't get shot or anything like that.
And I'm a residente temporarily.
Not yet.
Not yet.
Now, we were discussing.
I live in the safe part.
Like I said, Merida, beautiful place, Mayan culture.
Some people may not realize there's different races in Mexico, right?
Like I know in America, it's like, well, they're all Mexican, but there's different racial classes.
And, you know, this is kind of the Mayan descendant area.
And it's a totally different culture.
It's almost like a different country, honestly, in the Yucatan versus some of the other places.
I was talking about Guerrero State.
And I know you guys would mention the cartels.
Or actually, it was Tom Holman mentioned the cartels in that clip he played in the first hour.
There's definitely some areas that I wouldn't go to.
Guerrero State, I was mentioning they killed the mayor.
Somebody killed the mayor.
I don't know who.
I stay neutral in Mexican politics, right?
Just in case, right?
I don't take any sense.
Yeah, I don't know what happened, but they found his head sitting up on top of his car.
And so they detained, I guess, the security chief, local security chief there.
I don't know.
Innocent until proven guilty.
I don't know anything about it.
But yeah, there's some areas like that, but I live in the good part of Mexico.
I'll say it like that.
The safe part.
Mr. Rogers' neighborhood in Mexico, right?
That's right.
That's right.
It's very safe.
It's very interesting to always, the times we have talked about this and the times I've heard you share more information about just how life works down there and the cost of living and health care, how it's just so radically different from America.
I'll tell you what, Ethan, before we go to our first break, we still have a few minutes.
Let's stay on this for a minute or two.
Just how it differs and the pros and cons and why you're there to begin with.
Well, you know, I moved here.
Again, I host the Killstream, cheapplugrumble.com slash Killstream Live.
I'll get that in so I don't forget.
But, you know, I have some crazy people who follow me as well who are not fans of mine.
They knew where I lived in Richmond, and so I would get the occasional visit to my house unwanted and stuff like that.
And I don't know, I just decided to move to Mexico.
I had a few places picked out.
Cancun, I guess, was where I was originally going to move.
And then somebody I used to know recommended a place called Merida, and they had done their research, and it's one of the safest cities in North America.
So I moved to Merida.
Interesting.
I was going to ask you about that, because I think people would think that just all of Mexico, even the good parts, would still be very bad compared to Main Street, USA.
But when you compare the area that you're at compared to, you know, Chicago or Gary, Indiana, or some of these places, Memphis, Atlanta.
Compared to Memphis.
To Memphis.
Okay, so you've lived in Memphis.
How would you compare the area you're at?
I mean, Memphis.
It is night and day.
I know people don't believe this when I tell them it is night and day.
I lived in, well, Memphis, West Memphis area.
I lived in Spartanburg and Greenville is a little bit safer, obviously, but still, murders and stuff there.
Richmond, very similar to Memphis in terms of the murder rate, although Memphis is higher.
But similar demographic, similar crime.
Here in Merida, there's just a higher societal trust.
People leave their food carts out overnight.
Now, they'll lock them up and stuff.
But it's completely different.
If there's any type of murder or serious violent crime, it's like big news here.
It just does not really happen here in Merida.
Now, there are some rumors that this is a safe zone that certain organizations may send their families to and stuff like that.
I don't know if that's true.
I've had some locals tell me that.
But based upon your experiences, based upon your eyewitness testimony, having lived in this part of Mexico for some time now and having lived in Memphis for years, you would say that this part of Mexico, Mexico, is far, a third world, to be sure, is far safer than Memphis, Tennessee.
Far safer than Memphis, Tennessee.
It's not even close.
Far safer than Richmond.
You know, I lived in Memphis for a while, West Memphis.
And, you know, I was held up at gunpoint in Richmond, for example, outside of a store.
You know, I'm not afraid to walk around at 1, 2 a.m. if I have to walk to the store late at night here.
Never feared for my safety.
I've never witnessed an act of violence ever in my two plus years of living here.
And, you know, I might go two days in Memphis or Richmond, you know, without seeing somebody hit somebody over the head or hear gunshots or something like that.
So here in the Yucatan, it's just not like that.
And so it's totally different.
Now, there are some places, like I said, in Mexico that it's different, right?
But they keep a pretty, they run a pretty tight ship here in the Yucatan.
And it's beautiful, a lot of beaches.
And yeah, I would recommend it.
But, you know, there's downsides too, right?
You know, my Spanish is not that good.
I'm a white guy.
I'll never be Mexican.
You know, you're still, it can be a little isolating.
And also, since I'm a streamer, you know, it was easier for me to just pick up and move because I can do my job.
Why did you decide to go there of all the places in the world or all the places in the country if you were looking to relax?
Well, you know, I'd done a lot of traveling to Europe and, you know, I've kind of got, I don't know, maybe addicted to traveling.
And I went to Rome and Madrid and London and Lisbon, all these places.
Well, it's hard to immigrate to Europe.
And then do you really want to live in Europe?
Like the cost of living is even higher over there.
And so I looked into it and, you know, Mexico is right next to the U.S., right?
And so if I wanted to leave the country, which, you know, I kind of made that decision to do so, I figured that was the best option.
I just happened to pick the best place.
I had good counsel.
I don't have that council anymore.
I won't go into the reasons why I don't have that council anymore.
But they had made a suggestion to check out Merida, not Cancun, not some of these other places.
And yeah, that was the right call.
The dollar goes further.
You getting good health care for pennies on the dollar what it costs up here.
It costs $5 to see a regular doctor and then 800 pesos, which is like, I don't know, $40 to see an orthopedist.
I had to see an orthopedist recently.
It was like $40.
You know, everything's cheaper.
Did you ever run into any problems with traveling, you know, with being on a list like Tulsi Gabbard said she was when you went over to Europe and to Mexico, anything like that?
I never have personally.
Now, when I went to London, I wasn't quite as, you know, that was 2015, 2016.
I wasn't as controversial.
I'm not sure I would get into England now.
There's some places, but not Europe as far as going to Europe.
You know, Nick Griffin couldn't even come over here.
You know, former member of Parliament.
He was going to speak at our 20th anniversary conference, and even he couldn't get in.
This is a world recorder.
But anyway, we got to take a break.

I mean, this guy is on throughout the week, not just once a week as we are, and he does it for, you know, eight hours plus a day oftentimes.
It's just an incredible amount of content.
And a lot of it's very entertaining.
So, Ethan, again, let's go back to, well, let's just get your take on the whole thing.
I appreciate you tuning in and listening to the first hour.
That's quite an honor.
And so let's get your take on this because you were a guy.
I watch your show.
You talk about a lot of the same things we talk about, a lot of other things too.
But you certainly can offer an informed opinion on this.
And there are some friends of ours who are looking at this with, you know, as contrarians and are looking for, you know, the downside of everything that's happened since Election Day.
How do you just take it any way you would like, whatever your honest opinion is?
You're looking at this as someone who is adjacent to us on the issues.
What do you make out of the last 11 days?
Well, it's funny because I was talking to a real good friend of mine, and he basically has the exact opposite opinion of you and I.
And he, you know, hates what's happening and it's doomsday about it.
And, you know, we had this discussion on Election Day, I guess, on my show.
You know, there still is a segment out there that thinks, you know, this is going to be a huge giveaway to the Zionists and Zionist power.
And Trump owes them all this and that and the other.
And these people are tied to so-and-so.
And, you know, and I was arguing back and forth.
And then I listened to your take and already knew it, really.
And I said, he's saying the exact same thing I was going to say.
Honestly, right?
I mean, it's there's no reason not to be happy with what happened, in my opinion.
You know, I had some anti-Trump people, you could say, on the show beforehand, but they're still pro-white advocates, Adam Greene, some others.
And, you know, even them, I would ask them the question: you know, who's going to be better for whites, Trump or Kamala Harris?
And without fail, you know, every single one said Trump, even if they were against some of his associations, you know, some of the people he's appointed.
He mentioned Rubio.
Certainly, I'm not a fan of all these people.
But a lot of them, you know, I like, and I just like the shake-up, honestly.
And I think I have reason to be hopeful he actually means business this time and is out to take some scalps.
I think you're definitely seeing a difference in the kind of people he is appointing and the kind of telegraphing of it does look like he intends to move forward with at least some of the things he campaigned on, which again is a difference between the transition period at this time, eight years ago.
So we'll see.
We'll see what he delivers on.
And again, he is only the president.
There's going to be a lot of obstacles, but he's in a better position to deliver if he wants to.
And so far, it would appear he seems serious.
Now, I've been doing this 20 years, Ethan.
You've been doing it 10.
That's 30 years between us.
We've seen a lot.
And I think I've seen enough to know when things look good or look bad.
I think we see things pretty clearly.
We certainly called the election very clearly, almost as clear as Lou Moore did.
I mean, that guy went in with like a scalpel, a rhetorical scalpel, and just dissected the whole thing hours before it played out exactly as he called it.
So again, do you think we're seeing this?
I don't think we have rose-colored glasses on these things if we ever did.
Not at all.
And look, if you learned a long time ago not to put my full faith in any politician, right?
And that's the way I operate.
If you go in, totally, I'm a realist, not an idealistic type, although I have that in me.
But when you talk politics, if you get some of what you want, that's the art of politics, right?
You're not going to get everything.
It's not like we're going to have, like you said, a nationalist administration or all these anti-Zionists coming in.
That was never in the cards anyway.
And so, you know, I like a lot of what I'm seeing.
Some stuff I don't like.
Some stuff, will he actually be able to get Gates through?
I mean, there's some questions here.
But overall, the least Jewish administration coming in that we've seen, maybe that's a fight.
And so, you know, if he just, you said it yourself, if he even does, you know, a quarter or half of what he's saying, it will be a boon.
You see the way the media is reacting.
People are quitting Twitter, just losing.
It seems to be more resignation almost from a lot of people than you saw.
The enemy of Mienme is my friend, and I never forget that.
And the thing is, the discomfiture that the left, the professional left, the elite left is showing to his election is just heartening in and of itself.
But the fact that he has an 8% versus 50% Jewish population in his administration.
And he's announced so far.
It could go up.
Yeah, we don't know what's going to happen.
But on the other hand, it's a lot better than the alternative.
I agree completely.
And that was my argument before the election.
I thought he was going to win.
And then, as James said, Lou Maher was on the show hours before and called it and totally just eviscerated these pollsters.
And then it came to pass.
It was so prophetic.
Maybe the most prophetic moment in Killstream history.
I was just, I don't know.
We watched everything he said was going to happen happened that night.
You know, there will be a huge, you know, when Trump, if he does start the mass deportations, there'll be the sob stories in the media and the box talking.
Yeah, exactly.
It'll be compared to a certain German leader and all this stuff.
You know, it'll be like that in the media.
Now, will he be able to withstand that?
I feel like, I don't know.
I have reason to believe he will.
And so, you know, I could be wrong.
You throw the kitchen sink at him before.
Well, that's what I want to get to, Keith.
And Ethan.
And Ethan, you mentioned a sense of resignation amongst the media and all of these celebrities.
And to me, that has been the most delicious part of all of it, just on a purely joy-driven level.
The amount of satisfaction I've seen in seeking out the reactions from all of these MSNBC panelists.
And well, here's something that was written in the Washington Post.
Donald Trump has returned to power.
In the end, nothing mattered.
Not the sexual abuse, the fraud, the lies, or the felonies, not the bigotry, the insults, the threats.
In the most graphic terms imaginable, the American people were warned of the danger.
His previously loyal vice president refused to endorse him.
His top general called him a total fascist.
Some of his closest aides and cabinet members described in detail his erratic character and his indifference to the Constitution.
But in the end, Trump was right.
He could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and still win the presidential election.
It's so tasty to hear that.
Oh, my God.
Well, so I think, you know, the first time we mentioned this, they could chalk it up to the fluke of Comey and the timing of all of that.
And then, you know, he was not re-elected or at least not allowed to be re-elected the second time.
And I'm not so sure if God's hand wouldn't end that in some way because now he's gone through all of that and now he's back.
And it would have actually been better for them to have allowed him to win that second term when he ran because he would have continued on as he had.
He's come back as this punished Trump.
That's the ultimate Trump derangement syndrome.
The fact that they were unable to recognize that they had a really good thing going for them in the first Trump term.
And if they just kept it on, there would not have been the retribution that is.
He's come in now with a sense of vengeance.
And I do believe that it's real.
And it was something that wouldn't have happened had he won re-election or whatever happened there that didn't happen.
But now he's back and he's back and he's ready to kick ass and take it.
It looks like it.
He's back with a vengeance.
And it seems to be more, you know, in 2016, it was resistance, and now it's resignation.
And you mentioned Amron, Jared Taylor quoted, I'm more optimistic than ever.
Pretty much the same thing I said.
You know, he said he doesn't think Trump's necessarily going to save us from what's inevitable, you know, some type of split.
I tend to agree with James that that pretty much is inevitable.
These people are still here.
I mean, they are shell-shocked right now, Ethan.
I mean, the Trump voters during the honeymoon period.
Yeah, and you're still not going to be able to live with them.
So things are good, you know, the first 10 days after the election.
If you were a supporter of Trump, they are sort of in this state of secession.
I don't care.
No, and I'll say, don't let the door hit you in the ass when you leave.
No matter what time.
I'm talking about that.
Honestly, you still can't live with them.
So this is a 10-day period where everybody's.
What's the afterglow?
Yeah, either in the afterglow or in the pits of despair.
But at the end of the day, we're still here and they're still here.
There's still no commonality.
There's still no way we can live with these people.
Make it as uncomfortable for them as it can, and then possibly they will decide to discover the virtues of secession.
Or just continue to raise the political stress level and all of that, as we've said many times, as Trump uniquely can do.
But again, fundamentally, you still cannot live with these people that you share no common bonds with.
Ethan, we got about a minute.
I don't disagree.
And, you know, I said, you know, if you're an accelerationist, in my opinion, it's better to have Trump in there.
Michael Hill said last week.
If you're somebody who thinks it can still be saved somehow, it's better to have Trump in there.
You know, maybe he'll just, you know, do everything he said he's going to do.
Like, if he did, I mean, I still don't think that would save things, honestly.
But I mean, it's still a great start.
Yeah, well, they're still good.
I mean, I want all of these good things.
You know, I didn't, I never bought into the logic of let's just make it as bad as we can get because through just pain is good for you.
Through vicious routes, we will actually win.
No, that doesn't make sense.
But so we'll take what good we can do because it doesn't change the fundamental thing, which we keep saying: you cannot live with these people.
And I wouldn't want to, even if we could.
But we got to take a break.
I want to talk a little bit more with Ethan about the media, how the media has responded, and how some of these public school teachers have responded.

The Commerce Department says retail purchases rose four-tenths of a percent from September to October.
Auto dealers, restaurants, and electronic stores all reported higher sales, although not as strong as the August to September period.

Israeli soldiers reaching their deepest point yet inside Lebanon.
The reports say Israeli troops captured a strategic hill in a southern Lebanese village near the Israeli border early Saturday.
Israeli troops were then reportedly pushed back from the area.
The push on the ground comes as Israeli warplanes continue to pound Beirut's southern suburbs, while Lebanese and Hezbollah officials study a draft proposal presented by the U.S. on ending the war.
Lebanon's caretaker prime minister has also asked Iran, a main backup, Hezbollah, to help secure a ceasefire in the war between Israel and the militant group.

Great conversation in the commercial breaks with Ethan Ralph, Keith Alexander, talking about being as ruthless to them as they have tried to be and have been certainly ruthless to the white population of this country.
If Trump can be our inadvertent fiery sword and to Trump personally, yeah, that's right.
That would be wonderful.
Let's talk a little bit more about the media.
The headline here reads, MSNBC hemorrhaging viewers since Election Day.
They have shed more than half of their prime time audience.
I loved this headline from CNN.
This is a CNN headline.
Trump's return to power raises serious questions about the media's credibility.
You don't say.
I think Ethan, I mean, at this point, because the media was obviously 100% opposed to Trump and they threw everything they could at him, rhetorically speaking.
He's an insurrectionist.
He's a terrorist.
He's violent.
He's a sexual predator.
Yeah, sexual predator.
He's a rapist.
He's Hitler.
He's anything that they thought would hurt him.
And it didn't.
It didn't.
And we talked about this last week.
It's just at the end of the day, only one of two scenarios can be the truth.
It's that either the general public didn't believe any of it or they actually are in favor of some of these things, you know, in terms of the fascist and all of that.
Promise and excitement turned to dread at Harris Watch Party.
That's a headline, another one, Kamala voters, we're doomed.
They spent a billion dollars, Ethan, in a hundred days, a billion dollars to elect this astroturf complete manufactured candidate.
They ended the campaign $20 million in debt after spending a billion in 100 days to try to elect this person.
All of those endorsements by the celebrities and the entertainment elite didn't mean a thing.
They backfired what they did.
It feels incredible.
It feels incredible.
This so-called, well, I guess he is a convicted felon.
I mean, you know, even though it was a kangaroo court, but a convicted felon, alleged fascist, swept all the ways.
Letitia James and all those people and won the popular vote.
That's all I was going to say.
So it was just, you know, and even if it was, you know, the economy played a big role in it, obviously, we called that.
But people have totally disregarded the accusations or they are comfortable with them.
The media, the media has been totally, totally neutered, and it will never be the same after this.
I just think people don't care whether it's true or not, the things they say about him, that there is actually a hankering, a hunger for a strong man to come in and set some things right.
And, you know, we've not had that.
And people see, you know, it doesn't take a genius or a political science degree to know that things are going off the rails.
And if it keeps in this direction, you know, it's over, right?
And so, you know, even people who may not be in favor of a split of the union, so to speak, the Republic, however you want to put it, can see that things, you know, have to change.
And, you know, like Mussolini, he made the trains run on time.
Right.
Yeah, I do think that there's a hunger for that.
I think the media, they obviously underestimated his toughness.
They underestimated the American public's just absolute despair with the current state of play with our political system.
And they also overestimated Kamala Harris.
Which, I mean, you know, looking back, I should have been even much more confident in a Trump victory than I was because we were talking during the break.
She was at 28, 30% favorability.
And again, these are polls, right?
You know, but still.
And it jumps up.
You can watch the spike.
It goes to 48, 50.
And this is all the media.
Like, how did what did Kamala Harris do in two, three weeks to all of a sudden be at near 50% favorability when she was at 30 two weeks before?
Well, it was just, you know, media filleting, I'll say.
She and the media were so repulsive that for the first time ever, Hispanic men voted for the Republican candidate.
I think, you know, Keith, you and I were talking about this.
I think the woke just went so far.
It went a bridge too far.
Something got these Hispanic men back on board.
He picked up 34% more than he did even in 2020.
I think it's a sexual perversion, but then I was thinking about this.
What about the cheat factor?
There must have been something going on that was not apparent and wasn't being advertised by the Republicans or by the Trump team or something to stop a lot of that electoral fraud that was going on.
Of course, we in the South have lived with it ever since the Voting Rights Act of 65.
But I mean, somehow they were.
Well, she was millions of votes, you know, 10 plus million votes short of Biden's total celebration.
Something was in there.
Where'd all those people go?
Well, and The trans issue, you know, people were thinking he was wild to be running all these ads about trans individuals.
I'll say, well, it turned out to be genius, actually.
And that worked like a charm.
He's got a good instinct.
Yes, he's a showban.
People are tired of it, man.
That's not supposed to be DT Barnum in him, too.
He does.
He's a showman.
He's a McDonald's thing.
Yes.
Oh, that was one of the most brilliant political sons of all time.
I mean, yes, it was awesome.
And it was, he also still had on his, you know, $15,000 Italian suit, right?
Like, he didn't, you know, yeah, he just had McDonald's apron over it.
Yes, yes, that's what made it so great.
Like, he never wears, you know, Obama puts the blue shirt on and like, you know, a classic politician, right?
They got the blue collar on and now they're working hard.
And he's acting like something he's not.
Whereas Trump, you know, he's always Trump.
He's always about to stiff like a John Kerry or a stick as hell.
I mean, you know, for no other reason, you would want it just for the entertainment factor.
And then the garbage truck and all of that.
His blitz the last month was just a fall in a flawless campaign.
He really did.
And then the left has lost its mind.
The screaming, the trips to, you know, the psychiatrists in Manhattan are booked up until next year.
And then the cells at the end of the month.
Coloring on the sidewalks with the chalk as they are want to do.
But then you've got these cases that have come out in the news of high school teachers telling their students who they knew, high school students who voted for Trump or were Trump supporters or were wearing Trump hats that they want them to be murdered.
One teacher said they hope that this Trump supporter is raped so that they'll have to carry the baby since Trump has made it.
That's what's going on.
Since Trump was supposedly overturned Rover's mission, is it?
First, imagine just telling a young, basically a young adult or coming of age person, something like that, over politics.
I don't know.
I just wasn't.
That's just so foreign to me.
I just can't.
They're all fired.
I hope they're all cashiered and we can get some decent people in the schools now.
If not, yeah, at least fired at the bare minimum for somebody like that.
But, you know, I don't know.
I just think Trump ran a genius campaign.
You have nut cases like Joy Reed freaking out.
They would call her a chickenhead, would be the language there in Memphis, I guess, for Joy Reed when I was growing up.

But you look at what he said in March at some conference, and he was talking to K-Part, the gay guy from PBS, and he used to work at the Washington Post, Jonathan K-Part.
And he was talking about the language Democrats used, and it's so feminized and communities of color and, you know, stuff like this.
Nobody talks like this.
Well, you know, did you realize?
I'm sure you probably did, Ethan, because you see everything.
I mean, you are an animal.
AOC, this is actually, I think, a pretty big deal.
AOC, since the election, has removed her pronouns from her Twitter.
I think people are getting it that this is not a winning thing and it's being dialed back down.
Well, people are just progressing the right direction.
All around.
And, you know, I had a friend here in Mexico, and the day after the election, and I was shocked, actually.
You know, I said, yeah, Trump won.
And he goes, yes, like they were psyched about it.
There's a certain segment of people.
Again, I don't take sides in Mexican politics, to be clear.
But there are, I want to make that very clear.
But there are a certain segment of people, even here in Mexico, who feel like Trump is going to force them to change policy in Mexico.
You know, they have a policy hugs, not bullets, towards the cartels.
And, you know, there's some ideas that that's literally what they say, by the way.
But that Trump might push that in a different direction.
So I don't know.
I mean, I think the media just seriously underestimated.

Not only do I remember that, it's burned in my brain, actually.
And I just had a birds on Broadway, right?
I haven't been in the store, but I don't know.

Actually, but I've driven past it a million times or in a ride past it.
Also, I used to watch Memphis Wrestling every Saturday morning.
That was, you know, it's kind of coming to an end, you know, when I was younger, but it was still pretty big, right?
Jerry Lawler, you know, I grew up with all of that.
Oh, yeah.
Joe Yamamoto.
Yeah, Tojo Yamamoto and Bill Dundee.
And, you know, I grew up with all that.
And so the Moongogs.
Yeah, the Moondogs.

One of them died in the ring, actually, later on, but that's a sad story.
But yeah, there's a whole set of commercials that would air during Memphis Wrestling, and that would be one of them.
There was just a whole Memphis flavor.
We mentioned Corey B. Trots and like all this stuff.

So if you're not from the Memphis area, folks, this is a national show worldwide, even, even though we're based in Memphis.
But if you're listening from outside of Memphis, you'll not know this.
But in the early mid-90s, there was a great rivalry with these black-owned men's clothing stores.
And it didn't have the lowest denominator of taste.
So you had Burt's, and you just heard that ad.
That was a famous ad, that little singing at the end.
I mean, we would sing that all the time.
Every piece of clothing, it was all suits.
It was like three-piece suits, but they only came in like orange, yellow, green, purple stuff.
Greggs as well.
And then Greggs.
See, Greggs was another one.
The Greggs commercial was, I love to see Gregg's guys doing it.
But it was always, it's all these Easter eggs type colors.
But there's a big rivalry, and they would run these ads.
And everything, Memphis advertising, there ought to be a special done on that.
Remember, it's like, what's his name?
Chubby Checker saying, how low can you go?
You can't go much lower than Memphis.
Everything.
It was the most quintessential.
It was beyond parody what these suits would look like.
I mean, it was just the most flamboyant stuff.
And it was Burt's.
It was Gregg's.
And then there was another one called Marty's.
It was Marty's, Burt's, and Gregg's.
And it was all these, it was all black men's clothing.
Yeah, Milano, all these places.
They had them.
Anyway, the media environment.
I think they actually had a cod piece on one of them.
It's unreal.
The media environment.
I try to talk about on the Kill Stream sometime that I grew up in.
The commercials were a big part.
The commercial appeal was a big part.
Like, I try to talk about communist appeal.
Yes, the communist appeal, but you talk about what you might say, race baiting or whatever.
The Memphis media environment, if it bleeds, it leads.
That's how I was born.
You're not supposed to see it.
But the thing is, I'm like, you know, every night, I never watch local news.
It's so tacky.
It's so amateurish.
But if you ever do tune into any of the network affiliates that cover the local Memphis market, the first 10 minutes is just the murders of the day.
And it's always all black.
You're not supposed to see that.
They'll show the picture of the suspect, but you're not supposed to draw any conclusions that it always seems to be the same kind of thing.
And the thing about it, they always have the black women on.
The black women want the crime to stop, but they don't want any black people arrested.
And it's, you know, they're always wailing about whatever happened.
And I saw a recent story from Memphis, and they had beaten some guy beaten some toddler to death, and it made worldwide news.
And I did see Memphis was officially declared the most dangerous city in America recently, a few weeks ago.
Not only for murders, but for driving, too.
They've all seen these Fast and Furious movies, and they drive around.
They have more homicides, not per capita, more total homicides than New York City, which is many, many, many times the population.
It's unreal.
Can't get it.
And you talk about driving in Memphis.
My God.
You know, LA is something else.
I've driven in LA and Manhattan, but I would say it's more dangerous.
You know, LA is just about gridlock, really.
It's more dangerous to drive in Memphis.
I've seen some wild stuff on the roads.
I've seen people chasing people.
100 miles an hour is not feeding in Memphis.
Oh, man.
It's the wild west out there.
Well, a little bit off topic, but we are having a lot of fun.
And so you and Keith got into that last time, and I started thinking about that.
Made me think of Berts.
And we got Ethan here who can relate.
And we're just going to have a good time because we deserve to have some fun from time to time, too.

Headline reads, Trump promised to get revenge.
Here are his targets.
The sub header, from Liz Cheney to Jack Smith to Mark Milley, Trump has a lengthy inventory of people he's pledged to punish.
And this is how the story begins.
Donald Trump ran on a campaign of retribution.
Now he is perfectly positioned to carry it out.
For years, Trump has peppered his speeches and social media posts with vengeful calls for political opponents, his critics, and members of the media to be prosecuted, locked up, deported, and even executed.
In the waning weeks of the 2024 campaign, he escalated those promises of retaliation to a fever pitch.
Now that he's won, he has both a popular mandate and the power to begin implementing his platform of punishment.
Would any of that bother you, Ethan?
I think we're supposed to read that and be aghast.
I think they can't even see that the election television.
Yeah, I was going to say, you know, this is like something they were in the election.
Yeah.
And, you know, they tried to kill the guy.
They tried to take all of his wealth.
And I predicted all this was going to happen if he lost 2020 or they whatever stole it from him.
Whatever you believe, I tend to think there were some shenanigans.
But regardless, you know, I knew what they were going to do.
And they basically forced him into running for office.
Had they left him alone, there's a lot of discussion about whether he would have even run again had he not known.
Trottle is not their big suit.
Well, the only way for him to stay out of jail and save his life was to be president again.
Literally, that was the only way.
They forced him.
They asked for this just like they did the first time.
Trump is a media creation.
They, you know, they basically made this guy in a lot of ways.
You know, when Trump was growing up, he's one of the most famous people on earth when I was seven years old, right?
And so, and it was because he was all over the media.
Every show had him.
You know, they loved him until they hated him, right?
But they made him too big, and then they forced him.
He had to run for office or else he was going to jail.
They were going to take all of his wealth, ruin everything that he had worked for his whole life.
So he really Frankenstein, they're Dr. Frankenstein.
And the problem is, this is a problem that conservatives have always had.
And I'm not calling him that, but I'm just saying you've seen this.
They never have that bloodlust in their eyes that the left does.
The left is out to truly destroy us.
And if the conservatives ever do get a win, they just, you know, go back to fair play and senses of decorum and all that.
No, you have to go in.
It wouldn't bother me at all.
We're supposed to read that and be aghast.
I hope he does it.
I hope he does all of it and more.
A lot of people need to be punished.
I hope and pray that he does.
Even just a few examples would really set the tone.
You know, maybe he doesn't hit everybody on the list, but you had, I think his name's Mike Davis, his attorney.
And, you know, he said we were going to put fat Leticia James.
Better watch out because we're going to put her in jail.
I mean, you know, this is the first time.
But Peter Brownlow would appreciate that.
Yeah, exactly.
We're going to have to get out of here.
