Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Well, welcome back, one and all.
One and all.
A little extra pep at my step tonight.
This Saturday evening, June the 22nd, turning 44 years old with all of you and with three great friends.
Everybody who comes on this show is like family.
This audience is like family.
I had a wonderful time today earlier with my family.
And then, well, work didn't have to intrude, but I really wanted to be here tonight to share this special occasion with all of you and another lifelong, well, nearly a lifelong friend, certainly in terms of my adult life, Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, our most frequently interviewed guest back tonight with us.
And it's great to have him.
Jared, how are you?
Oh, I'm doing well.
Doing very well.
And as the British say, many happy returns of the day.
All of those that read, yes, all of those who read the Christopher Robin stories, well, that's what all of the Eeyore and Piglet, they all, on their birthdays, they wish many happy returns of the day.
And the idea is you'll have many, many, many of these good wishes and happy days that will return to you, many more to come.
So, yes, happy birthday.
Happy birthday, James.
Well, thank you so much for that, Jared.
That certainly means a lot from you, brother.
And this is an interesting thing that Jared could have had no idea about because I certainly don't tell this story even after all these years.
But it is true that growing up, when I was a young boy, I was so into those stories, my nickname was actually Pooh.
That is not the most masculine name, but I was a Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh.
Those were some great English stories, and I was big time into it in my very, very, very early years.
Now, that certainly didn't follow me too far into elementary school.
But nevertheless, thank you for that, Jared.
And I tell you what, I mean, you know, we're big on anniversaries here, as you know.
Anniversaries and birthdays are big here at TPC.
And we just had our 20th anniversary of the radio program, now 44 years old for yours truly personally.
But you started American Renaissance yourself 34 years ago.
And as I like to say, and I take advantage of any opportunity to utter this quote, the days are long, but the years are short, are they not?
Boy, they sure are.
They fly by.
They fly by.
Tempest just a fugitive like hell to mix my Latin and my vernacular.
But it was a great honor and pleasure to be part of your 20th celebration.
And it's an honor and a pleasure to be able to wish you happy birthday today.
No, we are like family.
We all love you.
And how could anyone not, James?
Obviously, the people who've met me, you know, certainly, surely have reason to not.
But I'm just kidding.
No, Jared, you are.
And talking about, you know, we spent a lot of time together off the air and at different events.
So it's always great to talk to you, especially tonight.
But all of that gladhanding having been said and done, this is a conversation I've been wanting to have with you for a while.
I know you have been all over the map as well.
You are an in-demand guy, and rightly so, and you've got a lot of travels and stuff going on.
But you've sparked a very robust debate.
One of your videos, a provocative video, ignited a pretty intense debate, very friendly and collegiate, of course, but nevertheless, it was your video from a few weeks ago, What is Our Goal?
And you write at the beginning of it, or rather, the transcription reads, that when you founded American Renaissance in 1990, you thought that the United States had made some very bad decisions about race.
You thought that those mistakes could be corrected.
You thought that we would change course.
Then you continue.
But I've been rethinking my goals for some time, and recently, two things set me off.
What were those two things, and how's your thinking evolved on this issue?
Oh, gosh.
It is the extent to which whites have become the villains of American history.
We who used to be honored as the founders of this country, our heroes were America's heroes.
Now, everything has been turned absolutely upside down.
And whites, just because we are whites, we are guilty.
And the whole idea that during the race riots, after George Floyd laid down his life for all of us, as we know, that people tore down statues of Columbus.
I mean, nobody, nobody in the race riots of the so-called civil rights era would have thought that by any means the proper response to angry black folks was to tear down statues of Columbus.
But to do this just goes to show you these are not pro-black or pro-civil rights rallies.
These are outright anti-white rallies.
Columbus is the enemy because he was the first white man to come to the entire Western Hemisphere.
And if he is a demon, what that means is our presence here in the United States, in fact, in this entire continent, is utterly illegitimate.
We have nothing to be proud of, and we are perpetual criminals.
I mean, if that is the thinking that is sort of the official narrative of the United States, then this just can no longer be our home again.
All right.
Let's continue on here because that is a conclusion that I did not share 20 years ago when I started this program.
The goal then for me was, and perhaps you as well, Jared, we've got to get the right people in office.
It just hasn't happened yet, but we can make it happen, and I'm going to invest my efforts into that.
But that has changed for me over the last several years as well.
And now in any talk that I'm fortunate enough to be able to give, and certainly on this radio program with the on-air commentary, I think if you're not looking at secession, then you're probably not looking at a future on this continent that you'll want your kids to inherit.
But we'll get to that in just a moment.
I want to continue to read.
Folks, if you have not seen this video, you've got to check it out at Amran.com.
Jared continues, the nation that sought reconciliation is gone.
It's dead.
Now, there is to be no reconciliation with Confederates, and all past acts of reconciliation were grievous moral failings that must be corrected.
I skipped down to a latter part.
We still have the same flag, the same constitution, and the same name, but it's a different country.
At the very end, Jared, you write.
Psychologically, we live in a different country from people who think like us.
So let's make it official.
Let us part amicably and go our own way.
There is no other solution.
Whether I live to see it or not, this again is Jared Taylor writing.
There will be an in-gathering of our people on this continent, and we will finally succeed in building a new home in North America for Europeans and their civilization.
White people deserve to live in a country that tells them that they are not dirt.
That's from a separate video, but we'll get to that.
I agree.
So my question, I guess, to you, Jared, would be, what was it that led to such an interesting, very interesting and thought-provoking debate between you and Scott Greer and Greg Johnson and others?
I think because for so many people, the idea that we have to give up on the idea of taking America back, taking America back as it is.
If you say, no, we cannot take America back, people draw several conclusions.
One is, well, then it's hopeless and there's nothing we can do about it, so we might as well just go sun ourselves on the beach while we can.
Or another conclusion people might draw is that politics makes no difference.
Now, I should have been more clear in that video that prompted this debate, because politics does make a difference whether we have one president for the next four years or another president.
And as a 41c3 outlet, I'm not supposed to make any political kind of recommendations, but it will make a big difference.
But at the national level, I don't think that any kind of political choices, any kind of election is going to reverse the rot.
It may slow the rot.
It will not reverse the rot.
I cannot imagine a constellation of political forces in the United States that arrives at the conclusion, well, we made a big mistake, and we have tricked white people out of the homeland that they built, and we must reverse this process and once again make America a home for white people the way Japan is a home for Japanese or Turkey is a home for Turks.
That's just not going to happen.
I just cannot imagine it happening.
And so we have to salvage what bits of it we can.
Now, this is in the ideas of some a council of despair.
But to me, we have to be realistic about what our goals should be.
And I do believe that if enough white people decide, then, well, yes, we can gather in a certain portion or communities here or there and build up from there and make places where, as I said, young white people growing up can be in a society that does not tell them, as the United States tells them today, that they and their ancestors are dirt.
I mean, is that really too much to ask?
To ask that our own children grow up in a country that thinks that they are not hereditary criminals?
I mean, gee, we at least deserve that.
Every people deserves that.
And I see the only way white people having that is in some form of secession.
The music playing at a perfect Paul's point, when we come back, we are going to pick up right there.
Can we live in a country that teaches us we're not dirt?
We're going to ask Jared about that.
And if so, how do we get there?
And is it this one?
Not likely.

There's not enough you can say about Jared Taylor.
Surely, everyone listening to this program tonight, well, I say that.
I mean, we do grow every week, and I'm thankful for that.
But I would imagine with a great degree of certainty that the vast majority of you, our regular listeners, are well familiar with Jared.
If you've probably met him at Amrin or one of our events, if you're not supporting the work of Amrin, please correct that and do so at Amrin.com.
Whether it's an article, a video, audio podcast, in-person speech, Jared covers all the bases.
And in this conversation we're having tonight, it's certainly right up our alley.
So again, talking about the future of America and what it's going to most likely look like if we are to have a future on this continent, that's the conversation.
Do we want it this way?
Do we not want it that way?
It's irrelevant.
It is what it is.
This situation has been thrust upon us.
Now, Jared has come back at Amrin.com with a two-part video.
The two most recent videos posted there.
Please watch those as well because it's sort of a continuation of this discussion that we were having now with him and that he was having with Greg Johnson and Scott Greer and fellow movement travelers.
Can the USA be our home again?
Part one, Jared answers no, and here's why.
Part two, no, but here's what we can do.
And to continue, white people deserve to live in a country that tells them they are not dirt.
Is that too much to ask?
Jared asks.
No, it is something that every people everywhere deserves, but it's not going to happen in the current United States.
I'll say it again, Jared continues.
White people must have a country that tells them they're not dirt.
That's non-negotiable.
Our children must live in a nation that honors our traditions and fulfills our destiny.
A nation that produces great men like Washington and Lee.
A nation that sets such men on a high tower to inspire men to be even greater.
And I love this quote from you, Jared.
I'll toss it back to you.
All my life I've watched the United States degenerate.
It's no longer my country and it cannot be saved.
That is a powerful, powerful statement, especially considering the fact that that's one that you did not always hold.
Yes, it's something that I say with tremendous sadness.
The first Taylor showed up in the Connodies in 1635.
It's hard to be more American than I am.
We have fought in every war, beginning with the Revolution.
We voted in every election.
We were mostly Southerners during the War Between the States.
I had one Yankee ancestor, but his daughter married a Confederate general with his blessing.
This land is stuffed with our bones.
It is drenched with Taylor blood.
It's hard to be more American than I am.
And so it's with great sadness that I look at this country and I realize that, no, this cannot be the home for my children and my children's children.
And I believe that for many Americans, even those whose roots are not as deep as mine, this is a very embittering recognition.
It's hard, hard, hard for people to say, not only are the current leaders of the United States going in the wrong direction, we've been going in the wrong direction for 50, 60, 70 years.
That is a very tough thing to realize.
So, yes, it is a greedy eyes.
But I think we have to deal with the world as it is.
We can't pretend that we are going to be living in some kind of rejuvenated America.
And when people talk about we're going to take back the United States, well, the United States they're talking about taking back is already 40% non-white, maybe more.
And young people in the United States are already children.
Anybody under the age of 18 is already a racial minority.
It's not as though that we can make a brand new or go back to an older United States, say the 1950s, where whites were the unquestioned social, cultural, religious, political, dominating presence.
We can't go back to that.
There's just no way to go back to that, especially given this current anti-white attitude that says we are the people who caused all the problems.
Everything's our fault.
Not only is it our fault, many blacks, their attitude is, you've got to pay.
You've got to pay.
Here we have built a country in which blacks have the highest standard of living, are culturally admired, who are great sports figures.
And the higher they get in the society, the more they hold it against us.
No, we cannot live with these people.
We cannot live in this country.
And so in some way, we have to establish a part of the United States, maybe various different parts, which may eventually unite, in which we can be us, because we have the right to be us.
Only we can be us.
And unless we have something that we can hand down with pride to our children that will be theirs and their children's forever, then we have failed.
That's it.
And you touched on something a second ago when you first started your statement there.
We have to look at the world as it is rather than what we would like it to be or what we would want it to be or what it once was.
I think that's the key, what America once was.
We have to look at America as it is now instead of how it once was because that America is gone.
And can it even be gotten back?
Can it be reclaimed?
I touched on this at my Emrin speech.
And thank you again, Jared, for the honor of addressing your gathering last year.
The idea of taking America back or making America great again, to borrow that term, from sea to shining sea, it just it could it couldn't happen.
It can't happen because you cannot have a squabbling collection of nations, which is what a race or a people group is, of course.
You can't have many different nations, which is what we've got now here in the so-called United States, occupying the same living space and there be harmony.
There's going to be no societal cohesion in a squabbling power of babble type of Franken country.
And it's only going to be conflict, the extent to which it's getting worse every day.
The more diversity you experience in an area, the more crime, the more violence.
I mean, all of that we know.
I understand we know that.
But that is the way that it is.
So retaking America from sea to shining sea, even if you had.
Jared, let me ask you.
I mean, let's just say that you in some unforeseeable dramatic change of events, you have Operation Wetback 2.
What does that do now?
I mean, what is that?
I mean, certainly that doesn't hurt it.
It helps.
I mean, to be clear, but you've still got the woke zombies.
I mean, that's another thing you've got to factor in is that a lot of our opposition is with white liberals and not just the others.
So you've got a lot of things you've got to sort through here.
Yes, yes.
Of course, if every white person in the United States agreed with you and me, well, then maybe, maybe it would be possible to reestablish a United States that was genuinely our home, even within the current territorial boundaries.
But I'm not even sure about that.
There are just too many non-whites here.
And it is difficult for me to imagine an American regime that strips non-whites of citizenship and either forces them or induces them to go back to countries, many of which they've never known before.
I think that would be a very, very difficult thing to do, even if every single white person saw things the way we do.
I mean, are we really prepared to say to people who've been living here for generations, okay, sorry, sorry, we made a mistake.
You should never have been here.
Your great, great, great, great-grandparents should never have been brought over here.
Out you go.
That is a very tough thing.
So I think we have to pay the price for the errors that our ancestors made and be satisfied for half a loaf.
Now, there was quite a debate within the pages of American Renaissance back when it was a print publication.
And this is in 1994, as I recall.
And the question was, can, must America be split up?
And we had some people arguing one side, and the great Samuel Francis was one of those who said, heck no, it's our country.
It belongs to us.
We built it.
We gave it its institutions.
We created its culture.
It belongs to us.
And everybody else is here by pure sufferance.
Now, the fact of the matter is, I never talked about this openly, but if at that time, in 1994, this is going back 30 years, in 1994, if it had been possible to draw a line right down the middle of the United States and say to all the non-whites in the country, look, you pick whichever side you want and we'll take the rest.
I would have accepted that deal, James.
This may be surprising to you.
But even then, even then, there were just so many people, so many people that are not us.
And as you have pointed out, the real problem we face is not the Mexicans who come across the border.
I mean, life is better here.
Can you blame them for coming?
Can you blame the Haitians and the Guatemalans and the Chinese?
No, life is better here.
You have to blame our fellow whites who have opened the doors, opened the doors.
We are the problem.
We are very much the problem.
And unlike at these classic battles to save the West, if we're talking about the Battle of Marathon, talk about the Battle of Poitiers in 732 when the Moors were stopped or the siege of Vienna.
It's not so simple as the enemies over there.
We kill them all or be killed.
The trouble is, there's so many of our people on the opposite side.
And that's why we have to be missionaries as much as we are political activists, because we have to persuade more of our wayward brothers and sisters that we're right and they're wrong and that we have a moral right and a moral obligation to speak up for our people.
That's all right.
It does.
It does, but not insurmountable.
Not for our people.
We will be right back with Jared Taylor taking a quick break.
This conversation continues next on TPC.

Hello, TPC family.
It's James, and I've got to tell you that I sleep better at night knowing that there are organizations like the Conservative Citizens Foundation.
The purpose of the Conservative Citizens Foundation is to promote the principles of limited government, individual liberty, equality before the law, property rights, law and order, judicial restraint, and states' rights, while at the same time, exploring the dangers posed by liberalism to our national interests and cultural institutions.
The Conservative Citizens Foundation also seeks to educate the public on the dangers of extremist ideologies like critical race theory and cultural Marxism.
I've worked with the good people at the Conservative Citizens Foundation for many years, and their work comes with my complete endorsement.

Welcome back, everybody.
I just heard during that commercial package that the Oakland celebration of Juneteenth, the celebration of Juneteenth that took place in Oakland, California this week.
Gosh, that's really a surprise.
It turned violent.
I guess, Jared, I mean, Juneteenth was this week.
I mean, maybe we can just spend a quick second on that because I think you could tie that in to another reason why we need to have a separation and a partition between us and them.
But I think, according, you know, Juneteenth is a relatively new manufactured holiday.
And it seems as though the tradition is to get together and have shootouts.
That's something that's been commonplace for the last three years now, ever since it's existed.
But just another absurdity of modern-day America.
The fact is, whenever you get a large number of blacks together for any purpose, you end up with violence, almost always.
Shootouts or just punch-ups.
One thing that quite amazes me is you see all of these videos of, say, black people on a cruise, say one of these big cruise ships, and you've got maybe 30, 40 people, and they're all punching each other.
And you wonder, well, golly, how do you know which guy to be punching?
Is everybody sort of started off as a team or in some high school gym?
One guy starts fighting another guy, and then everybody's fighting everybody else.
Is it just the fun of punching people?
What's going on here?
Who do you know who to punch?
My impression is people just, if ever, oh boy, now I get a chance to kick somebody or knock somebody down.
There's just this insatiable appetite for violence.
Spreads like a wildfire of violence.
Whenever one starts, they all get it.
And you know, you're right.
It's not unique to Juneteenth celebrations, as ridiculous as that holiday is.
But, you know, Chuck E. Cheese used to be a big hotbed for this activity.
Maybe it still is.
You see videos online all the time.
We used to talk about it.
And as I say, how do they know who to kick?
I mean, well, what the heck?
You know, I think this is, wow, everybody gets to punch somebody.
But, no, Juneteenth, yes, that is yet another, that is the second national holiday dedicated to black people.
And how can we really live in a country in which the birthdays of only two people are celebrated in this country?
One is Jesus Christ, and the other is Martin Luther King.
I mean, for heaven's sake, we used to celebrate Washington's birthday, but now that's all just been rolled into President's Day.
And people celebrated Lincoln's birthday.
You and I would never celebrate that.
But now we celebrate Jesus' birthday and Martin Luther King's birthday.
And then that's not enough.
That's not enough.
They need yet another holiday just for black people.
Next thing you know, we're going to have a holiday for Hispanics.
It'll be maybe Cesar Chavez's birthday.
As Cesar Chavez, frankly, you look into his private life, he is just as much of a womanizer, a grifter, a corner cutter, a megalomaniac.
He is as foul a character as Martin Luther King.
And I bet you he's going to be, it's his birthday.
It could be the big Hispanic holiday.
Who knows?
Well, I mean, they're already starting to litter and clog up the calendar, even if it's not federal holidays.
You've certainly got Cinco de Mayo.
And you've got other things.
And I was talking about this with a friend earlier this week.
They all seem to rival the traditional white holidays, whether it's Kwanzaa versus Christmas or Juneteenth versus 4th of July or Indigenous Peoples Day versus Columbus Day.
This actually does segue back in perfectly to the conversation we were having.
That is the future.
That's the current trajectory.
And how do we change that?
How do we get away from that and have high trust functioning societies again?
It's a difficult thing.
I mean, yes, it's true that you've got these big cities that are like blue cancerous tumors on a lot of these states.
If you even look at Oregon on a map, most of the counties are red, but as the liberals like to remind us, land doesn't vote people do.
I don't know if understanding that gets us anywhere closer to a solution, but most of America is good, but we are being sunk by these certain areas.
But as I often say, and I understand, this is what I know.
Obviously, it is easier to just stick with the current, whatever's going on, and let the cable TV wash over you.
But I do know this, Jared.
We can thrive, our people, white people, Western civilization.
We have proven throughout history, throughout these many, many centuries, that we can thrive under many different forms of government.
Lines on map have constantly been redrawn throughout European history and even American history.
Our allegiance should not be to a system of government that clearly does not work for us or a flag that doesn't represent anything worth preserving anymore or arbitrary lines on a map.
I don't care about keeping the 50 states together just because that's the way it's been since I was born.
What I do care about is preserving our people and my family having a future that won't have them be subjected to hatred and violence.
Our people have to survive, not a country, not a form of government, not anything else.
Our people is the only thing that matters, our people.
So, how do we go about surviving on this continent with the way things have going, have been going in the way that they are positioned to continue to go under the present system and under the present arrangement?
That is the question.
And how does it get shaken up?
Obviously, people are going to have to be made less comfortable before they're going to take any real risk.
This is another thing that I mentioned in my Emrin talk.
People are relatively content, as upset, and as much as they might not like the way things are going, as much as they may growls over their beers because of it.
If they're bringing home the bacon, they're still able to make the bills.
It's just human nature.
They're not going to take those risks that they need.
That Faustian spirit will not be awakened until they suffer a little bit more.
So maybe that has to happen.
Economic collapse, whatever form of unrest may be coming.
They're going to have to be jarred from their slumber, Jared.
Yes.
First of all, I thought you put our dilemma very, very eloquently, James.
These are very much the crisis that we face.
It's a crisis of the survival of our people.
It's not the flag.
It's not the form of government.
It's not the Constitution.
It's not the Supreme Court or the Houses of Congress.
You're here.
It's the people.
It's the people.
We are the ones that matter to us.
And what I see, when I see all of these utter aliens walking around the halls of Congress, for example, Congress, the building itself, all of its Greek motifs, every bit of its architecture is deeply rooted in the West.
And I see these Muslims and blacks and Chinese, and who the heck knows who they are.
They are completely alien to the very idea of the founders, United States of America.
But, yes, how do we pull something out of this wreckage?
I think there are really two things.
It boils down to two things.
One is education.
More people have to agree with us.
We have to wake up our wayward brothers and sisters.
And I think many of them are terribly confused.
Many of them are baffled.
We have to explain to them: no, the problem is not getting back to the Constitution.
The problem is waking up as white people and joining hands shoulder to shoulder and salvaging our people and everything else will come with our people.
That is the main thing.
And then there are political activities.
People can be involved in secessionist, secessionist movements.
People can get involved in political campaigns.
As I said, campaigns, certainly at the national level, can slow the rot.
And I believe that campaigns at the local level, remember, when was it that, was it back in, gee, was it in the 1990s that David Duke, despite tremendous headwinds against him, he won a House seat in the legislature of Louisiana.
That's right.
And later on, he ran for a statewide office and got, what, 45%?
45% of the vote in a statewide office.
600,000 votes as the Republican nominee.
That's right.
Here's a guy who had, he was probably, until Donald Trump came along, the most hated man in America.
But for those campaigns, he crafted a very, very sensible, reasonable approach.
And I keep waiting for somebody to show up, either at the local level or maybe the State House level, who has a very carefully crafted, attractive, pro-white message.
It's bound to happen.
It's bound to happen.
So one is education so that more people agree with us.
And then the other aspect of it is political activity, political organizing, building networks, building communities, so that the politics can actually take form and put our hands on the levers of power, if not nationally, at least locally.
Well, Jared, I agree, obviously, and we don't know what is going to bring about our pivot, but what we do know is that history teaches us that corrupt, and I hate to repeat myself, I don't hate it.
I think it needs to be repeated.
But I mean, I understand that what I'm saying here has been said many times on this program before and elsewhere.
But we understand that corrupt and gluttonous empires do not stand the test of time.
Multiracial and multicultural nations certainly survive even less and never has one endured the test of time.
And America's not going to be an exception to that.
Let's skip this if you don't mind.
And the situation here, again, looking back on history, some quick examples we can draw is the fall of the Soviet Union.
I am absolutely certain that the people there in the former USSR, there had to be the depths of despair in the 1950s and 60s and 70s.
This will never end.
This is it.
It's hopeless.
It's always going to be that way.
It's always going to be this way.
Until the day that it wasn't.
And, you know, looking back even further in history with the Spanish unshackling themselves from centuries of Muslim occupation.
And certainly the Aztecs never thought that those boats were going to show up on the shore.
So things could happen.
And just because, I mean, we certainly take, and I understand it's natural to just look through the lens of your very short lifetime at the way things are and just think, well, that's just the way it's always going to be.
But that's not the way it's always going to be.
It's not going to be that way forever.
And it's not even going to be that way forever here.
But what will bring about that pivot, do you think, Jared?
I mean, you wrote in an email a few days ago, in an email group that you and I are a part of, that 80 million Americans are going to vote for Donald Trump this year in the teeth of the most vicious denigration campaign in American history.
And he could even win.
And you wrote, and this was the interesting part, if there was never a crevasse down the middle of America, this is it.
So you just never know when something's going to happen that could be an opportunity presenting itself for real change.
Yes, yes.
The fact that 80 million people are going to vote for the guy who is probably the most hated man in all of American history.
And in the face of this absolutely practically monolithic campaign to tell us he's a demon, he's going to overthrow democracy, this goes to show you the extent to which millions, tens of millions of Americans are completely disaffected from their media, from their rulers, from the Democratic Party.
We have, as I say, an absolute crevasse down the middle of the United States of America.
And whether or not it will take a political collapse or an economic collapse, or even without that, it's impossible to predict how the pieces will fall together.
But I believe that there is so much energy and momentum, so much dissent, so much dissatisfaction, so much distrust of the media, government, institutions, the courts, universities, that something is going to happen.
We can't predict how those pieces will come together, but I'm very confident that they will.
Also confident is our friend Brad Griffin, who commented on Nick Griffin's talk at the TPC conference about the post-World War II era coming to an end, that this is, in many ways, just runs on a cycle.
In my lifetime, Brad writes, I believe I will witness the demise of the current regime and the birth of the next one.
The collapse of a regime is not like, say, the Roman collapse, but the demise of one elite and its replacement by another following a major internal crisis, which leads to a new settlement and equilibrium.
And I think, Jared, I mean, you don't have to squint too much to see that we could be on the precipice of that event.
Now, whether it plays out favorably for us or not, that's still very much a question.
But the notion that things are going to change in this country pretty radically, for better or worse, in the near term, I think that's almost something that is without undebatable.
Well, the number of people who say that the current regime is hopeless, that the country is going in a radically mistaken direction, even the number of people who will tell the pollster, yes, we have to have mass deportation of illegal immigrants.
Even there are even Democrats who are saying this.
The idea that the United States has taken a terrible wrong turn, this is widespread.
And to me, one of the most eye-opening statistics about the American state of mind is to compare the number of people who back in the 1950s, or say under Eisenhower, said that they thought the federal government did the right thing either all the time or almost all the time.
85%, 95% of Americans thought that.
Now, it's maybe 15%.
That change, that distrust of the people who are supposed to represent us, to look after us, who are the custodians of our culture, they are the people determining our future.
And to have only such a very, very small number having any faith in them, this is a radical change in the America we used to have.
And of course, that was.
Yes, that was the America that was 90% white.
That was the America that had unity, cultural unity, religious unity, racial unity, a unity of purpose.
It would be impossible to imagine the United States mustering the kind of across-the-board effort to say fight the war in the Pacific.
There's no way the United States would every shoulder would bend to the wheel and get down to business.
Impossible.
We don't have that country anymore.
We can't get it back.
And so we have to think of what are the realistic solutions.
And you look at all of this encouraging polling data that has been presented since the dawn of the Biden era, since his inauguration in January of 21.
And yes, you see whites are poised for a great deal of positive change in our direction.
Now, what's holding that back?
Again, we mentioned they are still too comfortable to get out and do anything about it themselves except vote for Trump and complain.
But I get that.
I mean, you have to look after number one.
Becoming a martyr, I get it to an extent, let me say.
You don't want to lose your job and be unable to provide for your family.
These are very real concerns.
I'm not dismissing these concerns.
But the fact that they are there or increasingly arriving to our destination ideologically is a good thing.
I think you have certainly a great deal, a volcanic level of discontent boiling just beneath the surface.
It needs to be released, invented.
Now, whether that occurs because you have some sort of an event that allows it to come out, or if you actually have a Donald Trump-like figure, step into the moment.
Jared, I will tell you this.
If Donald Trump were actually everything the media said he is and claims him to be, if you actually had a true nationalist pro-white candidate like Trump, let's just say Trump was that candidate.
He could step into this moment right now and harness all of that energy, and it would be a really unstoppable force to bring the people out and let them have something to get really excited about.
I think that we're waiting for that man to step into that moment where time and circumstance intersect.
But I think we're closer to that now than we certainly have been in my lifetime.
Whether or not it gets properly corralled and put into motion remains to be seen.
But I do think you're going to have to have a situation here where one side, you cannot go on this way in this country with, you know, forget all of the different nations, but the red and the blue divide alone.
One side is going to have to wipe the other one off the board.
Now, whether that is them putting us in prison or camps or us seceding or us balkanizing, one of the two is going to have to happen eventually.
I just don't see America just continuing to exist with this level of political stress and cultural stress forever.
Something's going to have to happen.
No, I agree 100%.
And it is our job, James, your job and my job, and all the people who already see that the real fault line is race.
It's our job to explain to these frustrated people who can't stand what their neighbors are saying, who can't stand the way the country's going, to realize that the solution is for white people to stand shoulder to shoulder and save what is best about America.
That's the problem.
And to me, one of the real difficulties that we face is that I believe white people are a particularly moral race.
You can't just say to white people, well, this is in your interests.
You have to persuade them that what you're proposing is moral.
It's morally just.
And white people have been browbeaten to the point to think that if they think in terms of their own racial interests, that's somehow negative for everybody else.
Nobody else thinks that.
If you say to the black people, okay, this is good for the brothers, this is good for the sisters, are they going to stop and say, well, is that fair to white people?
No, no.
You'd be laughed out of the room if you brought that idea up.
But that is the first thing that occurs to white people.
So we have to get through this moral squeamishness that white people have about taking their own side.
But I see tremendous progress in that direction.
I've been in this business 34 years.
You've been in this business for 20 years.
We've both seen it.
We see all kinds of movement our way.
And that movement is, I believe, unstoppable.
I do too, Jared.
I believe it.
I believe we're going to turn things around.
I believe we're going to win.
But, and I will say, you have moved mountains with regards to that advancement.
And again, folks, be sure to continue the conversation with him online and check out all the good content at amran.com.
Jared, before we let you go tonight, and again, thanks for being on with us this evening.
This is a very special evening for me personally.
I would ask you if you don't mind with about two or three minutes left and not more than that.
You had a recent trip to Detroit last week.
How'd that go?
Well, yes, I did.
I was a speaker at FPAC of all things, Nick Fuentes' organization.
And for the first time, he had a venue jerked out from under him.
Now, American Renaissance has had that experience actually twice, one of the most disagreeable experiences in my life.
And they ended up having a kind of a rump conference, a much more limited conference, as we have been forced to do from time to time.
But I must say, I must say, apparently the Fuentes conference had at least 1,000, and some people claim maybe as many as 1,500 registrants.
That is an extraordinary tribute to that guy's drawing power.
He really does have a way of motivating people.
I don't agree with all of the directions in which he is motivating his people to move, but there is that, too, is yet another sign of the tremendous, tremendous dissatisfaction people have with the country and the way things are.
And I will say, Jared, you know, of his group, I would just say it's overwhelmingly young, overwhelmingly young, which people would say, you know, the young people are already firmly in their camp.
It's only old, old, old people who still think like us.
That is not the case.
No, no.
And I tell you, the people that attended this strip down, there must have been 300, 400 people there.
Just vastly, overwhelmingly white, young, well-put together guys.
They shine their shoes.
They wear their suits well.
They have jobs.
They have families.
They're motivated.
Yes, these are precisely the people who are going to save the country when the time comes.
So it was a very, very impressive turnout.
And you've got to hand it to Nick Fuentes that he has this capacity to motivate these people.
I think in his own way, he's kind of a genius in that respect.
So yes, it was quite an eye-opening thing.
And I gave very much a white people got to act together speech.
Now, I must say, I've never given a speech in which the audience spontaneously started shouting and chanting, white, In downtown Detroit, no less.
That's right.
Downtown Detroit in the nightclub district, for heaven's sake.
Boy, oh boy.
No, so there's a first time for everything.
And that was a good thing.
Have people shouting, white, white, white.
So yes, it was quite an experience.
Quite an experience.
I'm glad you were able to be there.
And I'm glad that, listen, I mean, adversity, you overcome.
Adversity makes you stronger.
It builds character.
It does all of this.
Now, this certainly wasn't his or yours or my first row with cancellation, but as far as events are concerned, I believe that was his first time to experience.
It's a very unfortunate thing.
But yes, the goal here is working together collaboratively with all of the different factions.
And as I was talking about with Nick Griffin, who was actually back on the show to talk about the recent EU elections in our first hour.
So if you're tuning in late, be sure to check that out.
That's a very important topic.
All of the elections going on over there in the EU earlier this month, and he broke it down with expert analysis.
But the idea is getting all of these nationalist groups to coalesce on what they agree on rather than breaking ranks because of differences.
And so I appreciate that message, Jared.
I appreciate you and our decades-long friendship.
And I can't wait to talk to you again soon and see you again soon.
And I know we'll see each other again this year.
Great.
Thank you so much, James, and happy birthday.
Thank you, my friend.
The one and only Jared Taylor, ladies and gentlemen, Amrin.com.
Third and final hour this Saturday night coming up next.
David Zuddy of the Homeland Institute is going to be reporting on their most recent polling, which talks about, or rather was examining the questions of immigration and repatriation.
So stay tuned for that.
