Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
I'm on the right lights too.
How are you baby cell?
Everything that you do.
I know you're going to make it big if you want to be.
If you really want time, you can make it.
Ladies and gentlemen, what a very special evening and what a very special program we have planned for you tonight.
This Saturday evening, October the 29th, we are celebrating now 18 full years on your radio airwaves.
Indeed, our 18-year anniversary came just a couple of days ago on October the 26th.
That was October 26th, 2004, when I first took microphone in hand and brought the debut broadcast of the Political Successful Radio Program.
And what an 18 years it's been.
So for a long time now, well over a decade, we have marked our anniversary each year with a special program, sometimes with an in-person conference, although we're not doing that this year.
And for the longest time on these anniversary shows, we would bring on cast and crew to look back and reflect on some of the highlights of our run.
And to be quite honest with you, the run has been so long now, it's impossible to do that in a three-hour stretch of commercial talk radio.
So we're not doing that tonight.
Now, over the course of the last couple of years, we've done it a couple of different ways.
Last year, we had guest ambassadors, we called them, guest ambassadors, regular guests that came on to help us celebrate what was then our 17th anniversary.
Henrik Palmgren and Lonal Octave were featured in that particular broadcast.
Jason Kuna, Tim Burdock, Sam Dixon was on there, and then along with some of the people here from the staff and crew.
But we're doing something tonight that we've only done once before.
We typically do not take calls.
For years now, we have not taken calls.
A lot of talk radio is caller-driven.
A lot of talk radio shows, of course, are on three hours a day, five days a week.
We have one night with you per week, three hours a week instead of three hours a day.
And so we have to get in there and get after it.
But tonight is different.
Tonight, not only are we taking calls, that's all we're doing.
James Edwards, Keith Alexander, for the next couple of hours, we are going to be talking to you.
That's right, ladies and gentlemen.
A very special open mic night here on TPC featuring your calls from coast to coast for one night only.
And this is only the second time in the history of the show we've done this.
So we could fall flat on our face if you don't call.
But we are going to open up the phone lines and we're turning the show over to you.
So we're going to give each caller, if you can get through, about two to three minutes apiece.
What message would you like to share with your fellow listeners?
What do you enjoy most about the show?
When did you start listening?
Who are your favorite guests?
That's what we want you to be considering.
Any other message you might want to share with the listening audience at large?
Dial in and sound off for the next two hours as we celebrate 18 years, our 18-year anniversary tonight.
You can get on the air with us.
We're going to open up those phone lines at the top of the next segment.
Get on the air with us now by dialing 1-866-986 News.
1-866-986-News.
This is your chance to be on the Political Cess Bull with James Edwards and Keith Alexander.
1-866-986 News.
We're going to be waiting to hear from you.
Mr. Producer is ready to go.
He is going to be, how this works is, he will type in who calls, and I'll see it on my monitor on this end of the studio.
And we're going to take your calls.
That's what we're going to do.
Keith, are you ready now?
You think anybody's going to call?
I believe they're going to.
I know a couple of people that are going to call for sure.
Well, we put this up on the website a couple of days ago.
We sent it out to the email list.
So we know we're going to have a couple of callers, but we'll need a few more than that.
So we want to pack this place for the next couple of hours.
So go ahead and dial in now.
Mr. Producer is standing by to take your call.
1-866-986-News.
And that will be that.
Keith, you know, I had the opportunity to go to Georgia last week and give a talk at a private gathering.
And it was a gathering of people who were so smart, there was certainly nothing somebody like yours truly could have taught them.
So the event organizers gave me permission to just talk about some of the history of the program and some of the more interesting chapters in our story.
And it seemed to go over quite well.
And I was honored to have the opportunity to do that, especially right on the heels of our anniversary this week.
And so you look back on 18 years, man, and that's the thing about it is it's just hard to remember it all.
It has been one hell of a ride.
And for that, we thank the listening audience.
Well, how long of, how many of those 18 years have we been together now?
Is that 14 or 15 or 14?
It all blurs, you know, to be sure.
But it's been at least that.
At least that.
You were on very early on in the run, first as a caller back in the days when we used to take calls.
That's how we actually got to know Keith.
He called in.
He was just a listener who called in.
I remember exactly where I was when I made that first phone call.
And I can remember that first show.
Some things just stand out.
But what is the best thing?
I've talked about this a lot over the years.
You can go back to the broadcast archives and listen to some of those past anniversary shows.
Your favorite memories, favorite guests, favorite things.
Give the audience a taste of what we want to be hearing from them.
Well, look, that first time I listened to you, I worked for a guy who was an arts conservative, the head partner in a law firm I was with.
And he used to have the Citizen Informer Council of Conservative Citizens newspaper.
It was, you know, right up there with everything else that we had, you know, in the magazine rack in the law firm waiting room.
So nobody had to hide their conservative credentials, at least not in Memphis and Tennessee and South Haven, Mississippi back then.
So I read it and saw that there was going to be this new radio program.
It sounded promising.
So I was out driving.
I remember I was at the corner of Goodwin and Southern near the railroad tracks when I got through.
I called in and started talking with you guys.
And Bill Rowland and you both said, we got to get this guy on more often or build it, I think.
But, you know, and one thing led to another.
But it was such a refreshing change to the normal so-called conservative format, controlled, conservative, conservative ink type of programs that we had back then.
We thought that Rush Limbaugh was, you know, groundbreaking.
But, you know, this show was the real thing.
And I said, man, this is, we got to help this thing grow.
We got to make sure that this, you know.
Did you ever think the first time you tuned in that you would be first chair for a decade and a half?
No, it's just, you know, it's funny how we've had, but we had to go through a kind of sorting out process.
People, for one reason or another, had to drop off.
And I guess I just, you know, I think it was Willie Allen that said that 99% of success is just hanging around.
And that's what I did.
So I hope that.
Well, and we're going to do that at the very end of tonight's three hours.
We're going to pay a tribute to the people who have, as you mentioned, come and gone.
And this is all volunteer work here, folks.
So yes, I mean, there's a lot of risk and not the kind of reward that most people would consider rewarding.
I mean, there's the reward that we have for our people, the abstract reward, the pride in feeling that you've done something greater than yourselves.
But in terms of material wealth and things like that, that's not what we got to this for.
Thank God for that.
If that's the end game, we're great failures.
But I'll tell you what, we are rich in fellowship and brotherhood.
And we're going to turn the show.
Hey, enough of hearing about it from us.
This is your show, ladies and gentlemen.
Let's hear from you.
Phone lines are open.
1-866-986 News.
We've got callers already on the line from New York, Mississippi, and Texas.
Call in, won't you?
We'll talk to you in a minute.
Hello, TPC family.
It's James, and I've got to tell you that I sleep better at night knowing that there are organizations like the Conservative Citizens Foundation.
The purpose of the Conservative Citizens Foundation is to promote the principles of limited government, individual liberty, equality before the law, property rights, law and order, judicial restraint, and states' rights, while, at the same time, exploring the dangers posed by liberalism to our national interests and cultural institutions.
The Conservative Citizens Foundation also seeks to educate the public on the dangers of extremist ideologies like critical race theory and cultural Marxism.
I've worked with the good people at the Conservative Citizens Foundation for many years, and their work comes with my complete endorsement.

Why does the left lie constantly?
Because they get spiritual power from lying.
The lies come from Satan, the father of lies.
John 8, 44.
Here's how the political lying process works.
Satan provides the beast with a lie.
Then the more they use the lie, the more spiritual power they get.
Look, the media is a lie multiplier, and this multiplication gives more evil spiritual power to the beast.
And that can overwhelm and even deceive the body of Christ, especially when the body is being disobedient to the head.
The churches today are incorporated, so they're subordinate to human government.
They obey the beast and do nothing to restore our national relationship with God.
And the government shall be on his shoulders.
Isaiah 9, 6.
That verse is not for the present-day church.
Rather, it is for the end time church, the body of the line of Judah.
A message from Christ Kingdom Ministries.
Well, not only is it our anniversary weekend, it is Halloween weekend as well.
So we'll get you ready for that on Monday throughout the course of the night, if you don't mind.
But first, as I said, it's our 18-year anniversary, and let's go to the phones.
What do you most remember about these last 18 years that you've been along for the ride with us?
What do you enjoy most about the show?
Favorite guests, favorite memories?
Let's first go to Frank in New York.
Frank from New York, opening up the phone lines tonight on this very special installment.
Frank, how are you?
Now, James, I thought this was supposed to be a southern show, but you're starting out the show with a Yankee Northerner.
What's going on here?
You called in first, brother.
First come, first serve.
I like the sound of that.
And yeah, like you said, this is Frank Hawatt, the king of New York, calling in.
And James, I'm going to take your audience back over a decade ago to when we first met.
And, you know, I had heard of this political cesspool phenomenon that was happening.
I heard your name.
And then we were at an event.
And then I saw you standing there.
And James, you know what the first thing I noticed about you was?
I have an idea.
Give me a test.
My wife.
That's exactly right.
I noticed your extremely beautiful then-girlfriend, now wife.
That was the first thing I noticed about Mr. James Edwards.
And the second thing I noticed was this bald head.
Who's this guy with a bald head?
Again, I'm thinking like, gee, I had a picture like Dukes of Hazards in my head, and they didn't have bald heads.
And there you are with the bald head, the beautiful wife, and the talk.
And you're talking about cesspool, jumping in a cesspool and rolling around in the cesspool.
I got to be honest, I wasn't too excited about it.
And I didn't listen to your show at that point until maybe a year later you had Pat Buchanan on.
So I tuned in for that, and then I heard how you interacted with him.
And ever since that interview, I've been a die-hard fan and grateful donor on a monthly basis.
You have been.
You have been, Frank, and I appreciate that.
And I appreciate you.
Hey, you know what?
That's a lesson learned there.
That's right.
Tune in and find out for yourself.
Yeah, right.
You can be teased at first, and you may not go a hook line and sink her for the show, but eventually we'll grow on you like some type of a mold or something.
Now, Frank, I remember when James had a full head of hair.
I mean, that's what this show will do to you.
Some people said that he changed his head on purpose so he would hit the, you know, fit the image of a skin head or whatnot for the that was Rachel Maddow who said that.
Right, yeah.
That's another memory.
That's another memory.
And I can tell you he absolutely did go bald.
And it was the testosterone.
Yeah.
So anyway.
Frank, thanks for the call.
Thanks for getting us kicked off tonight.
Thanks for the memory.
And we'll talk to you in a second.
I've got some more things to run.
All right.
All right.
So we got to go quick.
We got people waiting.
We got a southerner waiting behind.
Well, these are going to be very valuable here.
One of my favorite interviews was when Keith interviewed Elena Mercer because she came on and she thought she was going to have a nice interview and promote her book and everything is going to be nice.
And uh-uh, Keith Griller said, what was your role in the fall of South Africa?
How is your family a part of it?
And just a dynamite interview.
This is why we wanted to do this show like this tonight because that was one that I hadn't forgotten about, but it wouldn't have been on the tip of my tongue when talking about, hey, these are the memories for 18 years.
I would have brought that up tonight.
So this is what this show is about.
What's meaningful?
What does the audience remember?
See, we don't necessarily give hard interviews, but we don't try to pull our punches either.
If somebody deserves to be grilled, we grill them.
And, you know, I asked her, I knew that her father was an anti-apartheid guy.
And I said, do you think that they're, I didn't say this.
I pulled my punch on this, but I should have said, do you think your family had blood on its hands?
All right.
We really got to fly, though, because we got people waiting.
And last time we did this, some waited for an hour and never could get through.
And I want to be as courteous as we can to people who've already been waiting about 10 plus minutes.
So again, Frank, one last shot.
Go.
Real quick, three names, great interviews.
Gary Sinise, Godfrey Dulias, and Drew Lacky.
That's all.
Thanks, friends.
Those are three that you would never see at a bar together, but three that I certainly remember.
Thank you, Frank from New York.
And let's go now to Chris in Mississippi.
Chris in Mississippi, the Confederacy has weighed in tonight.
The Confederacy is on the clock.
Chris, let's go.
Hey, James.
How you doing, brother?
Thanks for calling in and helping us celebrate 18 years tonight.
Yes, congratulations on 18 years.
It's just fantastic representing of our people and our cause.
Well, listen, everybody who's calling in tonight inevitably has played a role in that.
You have played a role in that, and it has been an honor to – how long have you been listening, Chris?
Since the early 2000s, I remember around, I guess.
2005 or something.
Oh, my God.
You're a founding member, a founding stakeholder in this whole enterprise.
2004.
October 26, 2004 was the first.
So you didn't even know what paleoconservative meant until I started listening.
Then I said, that's me.
Yeah, I guess, you know, maybe we've moved away from that a little bit in terms of the usage of the term, but it still certainly rings true as far as the ideology and things of that nature.
Chris, give us a minute.
We've got a caller from Texas, but give us a minute on, well, if there is anything you like about the show, I guess there is, or you wouldn't be calling in.
What do you like most about the program?
Your favorite guests?
Things like that.
Who should we be having on more?
So many, so many things, but the Confederate Heritage Month is very important to me as a Southerner and to have some acknowledgement that we actually do matter as a people and we are just as important as anyone else.
God made us all.
And I think having that acknowledgement of who we are.
And that really has helped me throughout my life feel good about myself.
And I hope it has helped others.
But the march around the world also and so many other things continue to bring me to listen every week.
And of course, I love Frankie Valley like you do and mixing some music.
There are two guys in the South that love Frankie Valley.
Where can we go after these first two callers?
They basically covered it all already.
I appreciate what y'all do so much.
And a member of Bill Roland, may he rest in peace, and Andy's time on there.
And just a good bunch of men who, you know, I think y'all do honor and glorify the good Lord and what you do.
And we're very proud of y'all.
And just congratulations.
We're proud of you.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your night to be one of the first callers tonight and weigh in and share with us your reflections and reminiscence and all of that.
And we look forward to talking to you again soon, Chris.
God bless you, brother.
And with that, let's go, if he's still on the line, to Cody down in Texas, New York, Mississippi, and Texas.
First three out of the gate tonight.
Cody, are you there?
I'm here, James.
It's good to talk to you.
It's good to talk to you.
Thanks for being patient.
Well, sure thing.
You know, I was hoping to bat lead off, but a couple of great calls there.
And kind of following up on Frank, you know, you're no Bo or Luke Duke, but you sure ain't no boss hog either.
Hey, you know what?
I got to say this.
Right now, happening concurrently with this broadcast, Cody, is the Fall for Dixie event at Travelers Rest, South Carolina.
They're at Dixie Republic.
They are tuned in tonight and having that event as we speak.
And they've got the General Lee there.
People are taking pictures with it, or at least a replica, or one of the General Lee's.
I don't know how that works, but in any event, it is there.
So a little bit of another Dukes of Hazard correlation connection.
Yeah, connection.
Why am I just now finding out about this?
Man, you know, life moves fast around here.
You know, you blink and you can miss something cool.
That's for sure.
I wish I was there.
I do too.
And this is one of the rare, the rare event, one of the few events in South Carolina that I've missed in the last couple of years.
My son, it's his birthday weekend, and so we were tied up with family commitments.
It was just an overlap.
But anyway, I digress.
I digress.
Cody, down in Texas, how long have you been listening?
We haven't had anybody weigh in on favorite guests yet.
Well, no, I guess they did mention some of the shows that stood out.
Atlanta Mercer, and maybe not in a good way, but he mentioned some others as well.
But anything you want to share with the audience about the program, Cody?
Oh, no, absolutely.
No, I go all the way back to the beginning.
As a matter of fact, James, I don't know if you remember this, but I met you in the spring of 2004, and you were talking about doing a radio show.
And I thought, there is no way this young kid is going to be pulling off a radio show.
And sure enough, a few months later, there you were.
And 18 years later.
That is a tremendous thing, Cody, to actually predate the beginning of the program.
And hang on.
If you don't mind, I know you already have been waiting a few minutes.
If you don't mind, could you hold over just a minute or two after the break?
I'd like to come back with you and offer a parting shot on that thought.
And we've got a caller from Washington State in queue and elsewhere as well.
Would you be okay with holding on, Cody?
I want to come back to you just for a minute.
I'd love to.
Set time.
We'll be right back.
Pursuing Liberty, using the Constitution as our guide.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio, USA Radio News.
I'm Tony Barusa Reporting.
For President Joe Biden, the dreaming of FDR phase of his presidency may end in little more than a week.
If Republicans capture one or both houses of Congress in midterm elections, as polling suggests, Mr. Biden's domestic agenda will suddenly transform from a quest for a New Deal 2.0 to trench warfare, defending the accomplishments of his first two years in office.
On a wide array of issues like abortion, taxes, race, and judges, Mr. Biden's opportunities would invariably shrink as he focuses less on advancing the expansive policy goals that have animated his administration and more on preserving the newly constructed economic and social welfare architecture that Republicans have vowed to dismantle.
President Biden took Saturday to go and cast a vote at a polling station in Wilmington, Delaware, along with his granddaughter.
Joseph Biden now voting.
President Lincoln.
President Joseph Biden.
What do early voting numbers look like?
More than 13.8 million Americans in 44 states have cast early ballots ahead of the midterm elections.
As of Thursday, Florida voters have cast the most early ballots, with 1.9 million already voting.
California, Georgia, and Texas have also seen more than 1 million early ballots cast.
In the USA Radio News Midwest Bureau, I'm Katie Lewis.
Hundreds of people gathering in Rome to protest in solidarity with demonstrators protesting against Iran's government.
Gathering in San Giovanni Square, protesters chanted woman, life, freedom.
Iran has seen weeks of protests over the death of Masha Amini in the custody of the country's morality police.
This is USA Radio News.
You know, a lot of times you have to choose between something high quality or something that saves you money.
But if you can get both, why not?
Especially when it comes to health care.
And that's MetaShare.
You get both.
The typical family saves 500 bucks a month switching to MetaShare.
And that's huge.
But it's also true that people are way more satisfied after making the switch, too.
The customer satisfaction rate for Metashare is double that of the typical health insurance plan.
Double.
It's because MetaShare works.
It's been around for more than a quarter century and members have shared more than $3 billion of each other's bills.
People love having telehealth and a huge PPO network.
So yeah, really, you could save a ton and like it better.
Imagine being happy with how you're taking care of your health care.
If you're self-employed or part of the gig economy, you just want a plan you're happy with.
You can call right now and get a price within two minutes.
Here is the number you need.
Call 833-34-Bible.
That's 833-34-Bible.
833-34-BIBLE.
He was looking for the place called Eho Folks.
Well, as you can tell, Keith Alexander and yours truly standing somewhere at the intersection of our 18th anniversary and Halloween.
And we have a lot of callers in the queue.
So we're going to make this as quickly as possible.
But I did want to carry over Cody from Texas because he said something profound right before the break.
The fact that he and his association with this program and the association of his wonderful family with this program actually predates the program itself and still here 18 years later.
Cody, just to wrap it up very quickly, and I appreciate you.
You've been on the line for almost 30 minutes already.
And I know your time is valuable too, but you said when you first met me, you never thought we would start a radio show.
Did you ever think 18 years later we would still be in communication on this radio show?
Probably not.
I'm guessing.
Absolutely no way.
It just started as a happen-stance conversation with a young man.
And I remember you had some profound words yourself that evening, James, because you gave a talk.
And I don't remember if you recall this, but you concluded your talk and you were encouraging people.
And you said, if you're going to do nothing else, go out and have a family.
And boy, those words sure hit close to home for me.
And you were able to take it from theory to practice.
Sure of that.
I am sure of that.
Well, the good Lord says, be fruitful and multiply.
And I sure, sure like practice in that.
Amen, my friend and touche.
Cody, down in Texas, thank you so much for the call.
I will look forward to talking with you for the next 18 years as well.
Thank you so much for taking the time tonight, Cody.
God bless y'all.
Love you guys.
God bless you.
We love y'all too.
Let's go to Kevin in Washington State.
Kevin, hey, we're bouncing around a little bit, Keith.
Have you noticed the states and the locations from which these callers are dialing in?
Covering the map.
Kevin in Washington State, you're on with James and Keith as we celebrate 18 years on the air.
What message do you want to share?
Well, hey, James and Keith, first of all, happy anniversary.
Thanks for all that you do.
I've been listening to TPC since 2012, ever since I saw YouTube clips of you, James, on CNN from about 2007.
That was before the Iron Curtain, the censorship.
My favorite memory of the show is actually from March of last year when I met you and Keith, your wife and your newborn daughter for a dinner in Memphis on a cross-country trip that I was making.
It was a real honor that somebody as influential and admirable as you would take the time to come have dinner with me and give me a tour of Memphis.
As far as my favorite guests on TPC goes, you have a lot of good ones, but my two personal favorites are Jim Lancia and Eddie Miller.
I always particularly enjoy them on the rare occasions that they appear.
Our movement consists of many Indians.
No, go ahead.
I'm sorry.
Go ahead.
No, no, no.
Go ahead.
Our movement consists of many Indians, but few chiefs.
And you and Keith certainly stand out as chiefs in that regard.
More and more Americans have awakened over the past couple of years, and there's no doubt that TPC has played a significant role in that.
I truly believe that we're facing chaos this decade, that the economy will permanently tank not long after the midterms next week.
And I'm confident that you will continue to guide us through this dark era out of Clown World into the mountaintops.
To the TPC family, stay vigilant and prepare, and only count your friends, not your enemies.
God bless you all.
Thank you.
Hey, thank you, Kevin.
My goodness, what a remarkable statement.
And, you know, the two people he mentioned, as a matter of fact, have been, of course, a part of our team here.
Jim Lancia, the alpha cop up in Bridgeport, Connecticut at the height of the crack epidemic, who we were lucky enough to sign on board as our criminal justice correspondent.
You know, this is a guy that was serving warrants, you know, with a billy club and a six shooter.
You know, he was doing the jobs that cops can't do anymore up there with a lot of diversity surrounding him.
And, of course, Eddie was a long time.
I mean, a long time.
And you're going to hear from Eddie tonight.
The third hour is dedicated to the staff and crew.
And you're going to hear from Eddie later tonight as we bring him back into the fold for the special anniversary show.
But for a long time, years and years and years and years, Eddie was a co-host.
And I met Eddie first for the first time back when I was running for office, which was years before the show, back in 2002.
That's how you met him.
That is how I met him.
And I'm sure we'll talk about that.
So thank you for the call up in Washington State.
We will go to Marshall in Florida and then to Mr. Confederate Man, who's with us tonight.
It'll be good to hear from him up there up around New York way.
But Marshall in Florida, I know he's got a busy night, I understand.
And so we're going to go to him first.
Marshall, how are things down in Florida tonight?
Thanks for calling in on our 18-day anniversary show.
James, it's great to be on your program tonight.
And speaking of Mr. Confederate man, I'm actually privileged to be down here in Miami, Florida this evening, spending time with a good friend and another very good friend who they call the Cuban Confederate, Mr. Christopher Monzon Zedino.
He was, as most many of y'all probably know, he was brutally attacked this past week while he was out canvassing for Marco Rubio and our great governor, Governor DeSantis.
But what I love about your program, I mean, the diversity of guests that you have in your program.
It's really hard to really pin down one over the other.
But the intellect and the love that radiates from this program is certainly a breath of fresh air in this world that we live in.
Love for our people, love for truth, love for our Christian faith and our shared heritage.
I love hearing from you and Mr. Keith Alexander every Saturday evening.
Thank you so much for those kind words, my friend.
And we love knowing that we have people like you all over the country listening to us.
It's really gratifying that people take the time and effort to tune in on a weekly basis or to listen in on our archives.
It's just wonderful to know that basically what we've been saying is now becoming mainstream.
You hear Republican candidates like Ron DeSantis echoing our points.
And, you know, I never really had the expectation that that was going to happen.
But, I mean, that just shows you, you know, cast bread on the water and it'll come back.
Right?
Absolutely.
Absolutely, absolutely.
You know, we need to be pushing forward and certainly not using the narratives of the left to combat the left, but instead writing our own narrative forward.
Absolutely.
And y'all certainly do that.
And that is, you know, an inspiration to all of us.
And I appreciate that.
Marshall, before you fly, and thanks again for being part of this special broadcast tonight.
Tell us a little bit more about the cause that is.
I know you live in Florida, but if I understand correctly, you are down a little bit further in South Florida for an event.
You just mentioned the gentleman's name.
Can you give us a little more information about that for anyone who may not be aware?
Right, absolutely, absolutely.
So Christopher Sedino, you know, he's a conservative, you know, right activist.
He was also a candidate for Hialeah City Council.
A lot of y'all in the League of the South might know Christopher.
He's a very dear friend of mine.
Anyways, yes, he was attacked this past week by a street gang in Hialeah when he was out canvassing for some of our candidates down here.
It's become really worldwide news.
They tried to smear him, of course, and paint these thugs as the good guys.
And it's actually, you know, for a change, it's surprising seeing people like U.S. Senator Market Rubio, you know, not cuck and instead defending, you know, defending our side of things.
You know, I think, like he said.
That's how things are changing.
That's how the landscape has changed since we first started doing this show.
Oh, and it's changed significantly.
I mean, in the last couple of years, much less going back 18 years.
I mean, the change has been seismic.
Absolutely.
I mean, this friend of ours, has been reached out to, you know, by Rubio, by the mayor down here, by Senator Rick Scott, even Donald Trump.
Even Donald Trump has spoken in depth to Christopher and his family.
So anyways, yes.
We give him our best wishes.
That's an amazing thing what you just shared, Marshall.
I think people need to take note of what you just said.
And thank you for being down there.
And as someone gave us.
We're wishing for his speedy recovery.
That's right.
That's right.
And we will soon have like a GoFundMe type page.
Unfortunately, all those websites that we've tried to use, even the more quote-unquote Christian ones, have not let it go through.
So we're having some struggle with that.
But if I can put a tag on your program later, I'd appreciate it.
Maybe Elon Musk can buy PayPal too.
Well, see, that's the things we're going to be.
Obviously, all news has been pushed to next week.
We're going to be doing an election preview show next week.
Elon Musk's official acquisition of Twitter.
More Kanye West, Southern National Congress, by the way, meeting next week.
We'll talk about that in a moment.
But as we continue to take your calls.
Anyway, Marshall, I know you got to fly.
I know you're down there at the busy event.
Thank you for the call down from Florida, and we will talk to you again soon.
Good luck with the rest of the event, and thanks again for taking time out of your night to join us.
When we come back, we're going to go straight to Mr. Confederate Man, who's been waiting patiently up in New York, and we very much look forward to welcoming him to the broadcast, this very special 18-year anniversary edition as we continue to take your calls.

Well, that's our kind of stuff right here as Memphians, is it not, Keith?
I mean, this is Adelaide's own Sam the Sham.
Memphis' own Jerry Lee Lewis died this weekend.
Source of all sorts of good music here.
That's right.
Well, listen, our anniversary show rolls on.
Thank you all for tuning in and thank you all for making 18 years possible.
We have already fielded calls from truly across the country.
Callers from New York, Mississippi, Texas, Washington State, Florida.
And now back up to the New York, New Jersey area, where Mr. Confederate Man is on with us now, our friend, and he's been waiting quite patiently.
He's the king of his own domain up there.
I tell you what, the Confederate men are few and far between in Manhattan.
A most special caller in line right after him, who we'll get to in just a moment.
But Mr. Confederate man, thank you for being patient.
Thank you for being with us.
How are things up in the New York, New Jersey area?
The Big Apple on our 18th anniversary weekend.
Well, it's pretty good, James.
I'm actually, I just stepped out of a party real quick to go and take this call because the political cesspool is one of the most important radio shows to me.
And as a fellow radio broadcaster, I could not sit by and not call in to thank y'all for what y'all have done for me.
And I really liked going on your show back in April for Confederate History Month.
Keith has been a great co-host on my show, and you've been on a couple times back in, I think, in August.
And it was just such an incredible experience to have y'all on.
And I got to meet Dr. David Duke.
Thanks to y'all.
And it was very good.
And it was great to have him on for my one-year anniversary with Keith Alexander.
We did a really good show with Duke.
And I'm looking forward to another year on the air.
But my show would not be where it is today without y'all.
And I'm very thankful.
Well, it's always good to help the up and coming like yourself, sir.
Hold the faith.
I know you're in the big apple, and it's rotten to the core, but you're a sparkler.
That's a good one, Keith.
That's a good one.
You've outdone yourself tonight.
Indeed, Mr. Confederate.
I'll do what I can.
Mr. Confederate man, I got to ask you very quickly.
How long have you been listening?
I've been listening since 2016 when I first started getting involved in politics and learning the truth about Southern identity.
And TPC is the only radio show, at least until mine came along, that is explicitly pro-secession and honoring our Confederate ancestors.
And that is something that I will always cherish.
We're going to extend to you the same invitation we extend to all of our listeners.
If you're ever in Memphis, be sure to give us a call because we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
Hey, that's right.
You know, we just heard from Kevin up in Washington State.
And of course, and I meant to mention this when he was on.
Of course, I remember meeting him a couple of, well, it was several months ago now, but just a couple of weeks ago, we had another listener who was down here in Memphis.
And so that's always a lot of fun when people come through and we have the opportunity to meet them.
All right, I got to ask you, I got to put you on the spot.
We got a lot of guests.
We've got guests who come on from time to time, guests who are mainstays that recur quite often, and then one and dones.
Over the years, you've been listening.
Who do you like to hear the most?
Well, I think I'm my own favorite guest, but I actually think Dr. Jeff is my favorite guest.
All right.
Hey, well, you could say that, though.
You did make an appearance on this program as a guest back, I believe it was earlier this summer, if I recall correctly.
All right.
All right.
Well, how can people find out more about you, Mr. Confederate man?
Where can they find you?
I know it's hard to find you now.
You get banned too.
Yep.
Yep.
I got banned for speaking the truth.
It was after the podcast I did with Dr. Duke and Nick Griffin exposing Jewish Zionist power.
But people can find us at Southern Secessionist Sanctuary.me slash Confederate1861.
Keith Alexander appears on the show more often than not, and he is just a great co-host.
And I know you talked about a parting shot.
I'll give a parting shot.
Buckle up for the times ahead.
Make sure to start saving your money.
There's going to be an economic crash, and we need to do everything we can to make sure that our people are secure.
They are ready for the times ahead.
And brace yourselves for what is coming.
Proper organization is key.
Discipline.
And shout out to the political sex pool and David Duke Radio.
Do not trust the fake news.
MF LGBTV.
Do not trust them.
They are frauds.
And thank you for having me on.
Well, we appreciate the call.
And we can even hear the New York traffic in the background just to make the call even more authentic.
Well, thank you very much, Mr. Confederate man.
Listen, we have heard from callers who have tuned in, supporters from across the country, but we have a most dear lady on the line right now.
My producer tells me, Keith, you will remember this name.
And wow.
Linda Baum is on the line right now from Missouri.
Oh, absolutely.
Gordon Baum's widow.
That's absolutely correct.
And what the council, the impact and the fingerprints that the Council of Conservative Citizens played a huge part.
Linda, I mean, when I say they, let's get specific.
Yes, the organization did, but Linda and her husband, Gordon, salt of the earth people.
Well, let's bring her on first and then we can talk about that.
Linda, thank you so much.
My goodness, what an honor to hear from you on this program tonight.
How are you tonight?
I'm doing great, James and Keith.
It's long time no see, either of you.
I hear from you, but I don't see you.
Well, you need to come to Memphis sometime.
Yeah, you can always be around.
We can always be found.
Right, I know.
That's true.
That's true.
Yeah.
It's so great.
18 years.
It's hard to believe, isn't it?
How does it feel to be a grandmother?
Oh, I love being a grandma.
She's got them coming from a couple of different directions now.
That's right.
That's right.
I have three now.
Yeah, three grandkids.
This is like back in the old days in Europe when different kings would come together and form an alliance.
That's what they had between the Council of Conservative Citizens and Occidental Descent.
Movement royalty.
Grafted onto the branch.
Yeah.
Tamla Jesse.
Oh, in any event.
No, it has gone by fast, Linda.
My God, I can remember those early council.
I think, you know, I want, well, I guess the first time I ever spoke was at the meeting Cody from Texas mentioned, which was down in Louisiana before the show even started.
One of my first public speeches.
But after becoming a radio host, it had to be the council.
The role the council played in the development of myself as an individual and then the program at large, just it cannot be overstated.
Going to all those meetings and seeing you and Gordon putting in that work, you know, really just down in the, you know, you were leading the organization, but you were also doing the work.
I mean, that's something that I wanted to, you know, that's the way it needed to be done.
And that's the way we try to do it.
And, you know, your longevity at the Council of Conservative Citizens basically inspired us to keep soldiering on through the years in our position, you know, with our radio show.
The fact that last such a long time.
Go ahead, excuse me.
Yeah, that is great.
And, you know, I'm so glad to hear that because, you know, with Gordon gone, I hope he knew that he did not waste his time working so hard for our people.
And hearing you say that, you know, leads me to, it tells me that he did not.
I used to tell him that when he was sick, you've not wasted your time.
Look what you've done.
In fact, he was the one that kept the flame alight.
Well, no, I mean, in the early days, the Council of Conservative Citizens was promoting this program really first and foremost.
So, yes, I mean, absolutely.
I would be honored to consider this program in some small way to be a legacy of what the council was able to do.
Even though the program was started before we all met, but those early years were very tenuous.
I mean, obviously, even still to this day, 18 years, none of us are getting fat.
None of us are secure in this movement, in this age.
Think of all the people who have their roots in the Council of Conservatives.
Censorship.
Aaron Taylor, for example.
Well, he was a part of it.
Yeah, he was always there as a speaker.
But in the era of censorship and oppression, and obviously money is always tight.
So nobody's secure.
But in those early years, especially, we were fragile, and the council really helped keep us on.
And I want to thank you for that publication.
Council kept Sam Francis body and soul together after he was stabbed in the back by Denise D'Souza back in 1993.
And he was the editor of the Citizen Informer for a while.
Go ahead.
Well, in 93, I did work.
I mean, I was behind the scenes.
I was always working at home.
I mean, my home was basically just an office.
But in 93, my children were really young, so I stayed home.
I didn't go to a lot of events.
I just stayed home and worked on the council stuff.
So in 93, I mean, I remember Sam.
I knew Sam, but I don't recall that event that you're talking about where Denise D'Souza stabbed him in the back.
It doesn't surprise me.
It cost him his job with the Washington Times.
Well, all of that is, yeah, all that's kind of old news, I guess.
Yeah, it's old.
And, of course, Sam's has already received his return.
Francis is part of the Council of Conservative Citizens family.
Well, there was a lot of people who were a part of it.
And I can remember those meetings, Linda.
The greatest people, the most down to earth, the people that I would most relate to, the kind of people you would see at one of our events and gatherings here with TPC.
I met at the council meetings so many years.
Y'all would have us every year to speak, you and Gordon, and God rest his soul.
Can't wait to see him again.
But going there and just having a great time with great people, going over the times we were in Nashville, going over and listening to the Midnight Jamboree.
It was just some of the greatest memories I've had individually with my wife in this movement were council meetings.
Well, anyway, we only have a minute left.
I could have gone a full hour with you reminiscing.
I really mean that.
Thanks, Linda, for the role you've played in the 18 years, not just in the past, but in the present and future as well.
I know we have just seconds remaining.
I know sometimes you would get together with other members of the council and kind of have like letters stuffing envelope parties, listening to the show.
We used to.
30 seconds.
Yeah, we did it.
Let's go, Linda.
Yeah, we used to.
I mean, it was just hands-on.
I mean, there's never any money in the movement, so we just had to do it all.
We had to do everything.
So, you know, but your show is great, James.
I'm so, so happy to be a part of it.
And, Keith, you're doing such a good job.
You're always encouraging to me to listen to me.
Well, thank you so much.
You have been a bigger encouragement.
I've been doing an equally great job, too.
That's right, Brad.
And love to you and all of your family, Linda.
Thanks for calling in tonight.
What a special way to close this first hour.
We'll continue to take calls.
Linda Baum, Council of Conservative Citizens.
Now the Conservative Citizens Foundation, you hear their ads on this program.
Be sure to support them.
We'll be back with the second hour next.
