Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
He wants me to victory.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, if you had gone to church with me on any given Sunday in my formative years, from my childhood, from my teenage years, through my 20s, you very well may have been singing that song with me.
And that singing would have been led by the man who is sitting here with me right now, Pastor David Rogers, a man that I will always refer to as my pastor.
And, of course, you know, Pastor has been on this show.
I just call him Pastor.
So that's with a capital P.
And he's been on the show several times over the years, typically around Christmastime and Easter to deliver, obviously, a Christmastime or Easter message.
And he's always been appreciated by this audience.
Of course, he was further endeared to this audience last summer.
And it's so great to have you back tonight.
James, it's always good to be here.
I love James dearly.
I tell people every time to James' embarrassment, I knew him before it was James Evereds.
He was just Pooh when I first went to him.
Well, you're going to think we're playing a tape because I think every time he's been on the show, he's made mention of that.
But he does that off the air too, in polite company.
But no, that's the truth.
That was my nickname.
I was a big Winnie the Pooh fan, you see, as a young boy.
And so I was Pooh, and I think I called my pacifier Pooh, and everything was Pooh.
But in any event, this is a man.
Well, I'll go ahead and say the same thing I say every time you're on.
A man who was leading the church ever since I was really a baby.
And not only did it lead me to the Lord at a relatively young age, he introduced me to my wife.
He has performed the funeral services of any close family member that has ever passed on.
He officiated the wedding between my wife and I.
And he was at the hospital for the birth of both of my children.
Any major moment in my life, good, bad, happy, sad, he's been there for.
He's just been a great friend, not just to me, but to my entire family.
And I love him dearly.
And I do love you, Pastor.
Well, James, you know, I love you and your family, your mom and dad, dear, dear friends.
And I count them among my dearest, dearest friends.
And we've been close.
We've spent a lot of good time together.
We've gone on trips together.
We've done it all.
Gone on trips together.
You campaigned for me.
Yeah, I did.
2002.
Most recently, we went to see Ray Stevens together.
That's right.
We sure did.
Yes.
Back up in Nashville.
We went up to a concert together.
That shit we did.
That was a great night.
It was.
Oh, it's about a year ago.
This has been an eventful year for me.
I don't think James has mentioned it on the air, but in August I had a stroke, a pretty severe stroke.
And among the few people that my I have four girls, and my girls took care of me during that time.
And one of the few people that they let come to see me was James and Danny.
And the kids, I think, came a couple of times to see me.
That's right.
I was in the hospital in intensive care for two days in the hospital for another week and inpatient rehab for another two weeks.
And I'm still recovering.
I guess I'm like an alcoholic.
I'm still recovering.
But I've overcome a lot of things that they weren't sure I would be able to deal with.
I don't know if the people can tell me James continues that it's not a problem, say that it is not a problem for me.
But my speech is impaired a little bit.
I'm very grateful that I can speak.
Somebody said, well, you can speak intelligently.
And I said, well, that's a new thing for me.
Had the reverse effect.
Yeah, it did.
But they weren't sure I'd be able to walk.
And I do that.
I'm driving.
I live by my haunted self again.
My girls stayed with me as long as they could stand me.
And there I'm living back on my own.
So it's been a real journey.
But God's faithful and supplies everything that we need when we need it.
And so we're working with all of that.
And it's good to be with James on the show again.
Got to spend a few minutes with his lovely wife.
The best thing about James is Danny.
Ain't that the truth?
And they have two lovely children.
And got to spend a little time at dinner.
We went to a landmark.
I started to say a landmark of Memphis.
It's not in Memphis.
It's not even the same county in Mason.
So we took a little road trip for dinner tonight.
We sure did.
Bozo's BBQ.
Built in the 1940s.
And it's still very much like the 1940s when you go there.
And I mean, what I mean by that is polite service, a smile on a face, some good old southern porch talk with anybody.
Pastor and I were sitting at the car this afternoon.
A guy just came over.
Some old Codger, good guy, came over and just started talking to us.
He was part of the conversation.
That's kind of typical of rural Southern culture.
And so it was good barbecue, good fellowship, and led us back to the studio tonight.
And I called Pastor earlier in the week in hopes that he would come on tonight to share with us an Easter message.
And I knew that he had suffered the stroke, of course, and was hoping that that wouldn't run him off on the radio.
But he's never turned me down.
But it is important.
You know, of course, Pastor, we have played, I think, replayed two or three times now, a previous Easter message that you and I had recorded a couple of years ago.
And I thought that it was so good that, and so timeless, of course, you're talking about Easter.
The truth of Easter never changes.
And so we've replayed that a couple of times.
But tonight, I thought it would be fun to have you back on for a brand new version.
So I called you up and I said, I basically want you to make a tailor-made for radio sermon, just like a sermon you would give on any Sunday morning on Easter, but sort of cut down for time constraints.
And don't forget we got a few commercial breaks in there.
And you put something together for us.
Well, I have enjoyed doing it.
You know, Easter is timeless.
It is the central point of history.
And it's real easy to get away from that.
James said earlier, he enjoys Easter egg hunts and the chocolate bunnies.
And we all enjoy that probably too much.
And that's a lot of fun.
But the central point of history is that we've been redeemed.
That Jesus paid the price for our sins on Calvary.
And not only that, he rose again.
And he tomorrow will celebrate his resurrection.
And we'll get back in a minute and share some things from the scripture.
Take care, everybody.
We'll be right back.
Okay, girls, about finished with your lesson on money.
Daddy, what is a buy-sell spread for gold coins?
Well, when you sell a gold coin to a coin shop that's worth, say, $1,200, you don't actually get $1,200.
But don't worry, we're members of UPMA now, so we don't have to worry about that.
Daddy, why somebody seals that gold?
We don't have any gold at the house.
It's stored safely in the UPMA vault, securely and insured.
But the S ⁇ P 500 outperformed gold.
Daddy, gold is a bad investment.
Some people do think of it that way, but actually, gold is money.
And as members of the United Precious Metals Association, we can use our gold at any store, just like a credit card.
Or I can ask them to drop it right into Mommy and Daddy's bank account, because we're a UPMA member family.

I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer.
And just the time I need Him, He's always near.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today.
He walks with me and talks with me along that narrow way.
He lives, He lives, He lives salvation to impart.
That's another one we sang time and time again every Sunday morning.
You want to know how I became the man that I am, for better or worse?
A lot of it happened as I marinated in those pews on Sundays.
And so thankful to have Pastor back with us this evening to share with us an Easter message.
You know, I can remember, you never could hit those high notes.
Anytime we get to a song and we have a high note, he just raises his hands at the pulpit.
Never could, never could.
Today we're going to read some scriptures.
And because I have a little trouble reading since the stroke, I'm going to ask James to read the scriptures for us tonight.
And here's what we've got in the book of John, chapter 21, verses 1 through 11.
After these things, Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias.
And in this way, he showed himself.
Simon Peter.
Yeah.
I showed you the wrong scripture.
Oh, we got the wrong scripture here.
Matthew 28.
I'm so, so sorry.
All right, where are we going?
Matthew 28.
This is my mistake.
And James done making mistakes.
That's like Keith said today.
I thought I was wrong once, but I was wrong.
Okay, Matthew 28, verses 1 through 11.
Yeah.
All right.
Here we go again.
I haven't read through this, so there may be some words I can't pronounce.
Now, after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from its door and sat on it.
His countenance was like lightning and his clothing as white as snow.
And the guards shook for fear and became like dead men.
But the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
He is not here.
He is risen, as he said.
Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead.
And indeed, he is going to be before you into Galilee.
There you will see him.
Behold, I have told you.
So they went out quickly from the tomb with great fear and great joy and ran to bring his disciples word.
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them saying, Rejoice.
So they came and held him by the feet and worshipped him.
Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid.
Go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.
The scripture that James has read tells the greatest story of all time.
These two women had seen Jesus crucified.
They seen the sword thrust into his side, the water and the blood run out.
They were brokenhearted.
You cannot imagine the grief.
Everything they lived for was gone.
They went to the tomb that day on the first day of the week after the Sabbath to prepare the body for burial.
He was buried so quickly that they didn't have time to do that.
But when they got to the tomb, or as they were coming to the tomb, a great earthquake shook the earth.
You know, one of the things that that reminds me of is that it doesn't matter when men do their worst, God does his best.
And men cannot dictate the affairs of this world.
God decides things that are going to happen.
As they got to the tomb, they found that the stone was rolled away.
The stone had been put there to keep anybody from coming in and doing anything about the body of Jesus.
It didn't occur to them that they'd need to have something to keep him in, but even that stone couldn't keep him in.
The guards, when the earthquake came and the stone rolled away, the guards fell down as dead men.
You know, that reminds me of what happened in the garden when they came to Jesus and Jesus asked them, who are you looking for?
And they said, we're looking for Jesus of Nazareth.
And Jesus' response was, I am he.
What he said was, I am, which, of course, is the name of God.
And when he spoke the name of God, those soldiers fell down like dead men, just like the soldiers at the tomb fell down like dead men.
The women came to the garden, and when they encountered him, the angel that encountered him at the tomb said, he has risen just as he said.
How many times did Jesus say before his crucifixion that he would rise again?
He said that this temple, speaking of his body, if you tear it down, in three days I'll resurrect this temple.
Jesus didn't pull any surprises.
He had told them, if I go away, I come up again to receive you to myself.
When Jesus said that he was going to rise, he knew what he's talking about, and he did exactly what he said.
He said to the ladies, rejoice, be happy.
They were heartbroken.
And Jesus comes to them and says, rejoice.
She said, don't be afraid.
You know, fear is a terrible thing.
And all of us are afraid of different things.
And one of the things that Jesus has done for us is to take the biggest fear that we ever had, and that is the fear of death.
And he says to the ladies, don't be afraid, but go and tell it.
You know, on this Easter, we need to tell people that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.
It doesn't matter whether they agree with us.
It doesn't matter if they want to hear it or not.
It is the truth.
And he is indeed the Lord of all.
And one of the things that I would challenge you to do, tonight, if you go out tomorrow and the coming week, tell people that Jesus Christ is risen.
You say, I just can't say that at work.
Try it.
They'll look at you, Funty.
They may even talk about you, Funny, behind your back.
But the Lord of Lords will be pleased that you've stood for him and said that he is risen.
He is risen indeed.
It is the Easter message.
It is the greatest message of all time to know that the Lord Christ is risen.
You talk about it being the greatest message of all time.
And in fact, time itself was partitioned as a result of Christ's birth.
And that's where we get our calendar today.
All of the world goes by that timeline.
Yes, it does.
Whether they believe or not.
Yes, it does.
Which is interesting.
And, of course, they've tried to move away from Anno Domino A.D. to this new CE or the current era, but it's still marked by that act, the act of his birth.
And, of course, the crucifixion.
The Christmas story is great.
The Christmas story is fantastic.
We love the Christmas story.
But the Easter story is really where the focal point of our faith comes and is made true.
We're going to continue for the next two segments, our last two segments before Easter Sunday with Pastor Rogers.
David Rogers, when we come back, stay tuned.
I hope you're enjoying this, folks.

President Trump is back on Twitter calling the Russia probe a witch hunt.
On Thursday, he said, Hey, I'm having a good day.
But the president seems to have changed his mood on Twitter.
On Friday, he said, statements are being made about me by certain people in the crazy Mueller report, which are fabricated and totally untrue.
Watch out for people that take so-called notes.
That seems to be a reference to his former White House counsel Don McGann, who was described in the report as refusing to fire Mueller.
McGahn has been described in some media analyses as thereby saving the Trump presidency.
On Saturday, the president tweeted, fake news media is doing everything possible to stir up and anger the Pauls and as many people as possible.
Senator Mitt Romney wrote he was sickened by the president's behavior.

She says candy and toy bunnies are better Easter gifts.

Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James' Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
Heaven's gates are open wide.
He's alive.
All right, everybody.
Well, Pastor, that's actually a song that we didn't sing in church, but one that you wanted to play tonight.
Oh, I love this song.
And what it says is the whole story.
He is alive and I've forgiven.
The heaven's gates are opened wide.
Folks, listen, if you're not sure about your salvation, boy, the time to get sure of it is right now.
And you may have committed horrible sins.
You may have think you were a pretty good guy.
But the truth of the matter is, it doesn't matter what your sins are.
You're forgiven because of the cross.
He bore your sins on the cross.
I'm going to get James to read a scripture about the ascension.
When Jesus first came into the world, we don't have any first hands accounts.
And by that, I mean there's nobody that says, let me tell you the story.
When the gospel writers tell it, they're telling the story that somebody else told them.
But when we see in Acts, his ascension, his going into heaven, there were witnesses there that tell us this account.
And James is going to read that for us right now.
So this is in the book of Acts in the New Testament, chapter 1, verses 4 through 11.
And being assembled together with them, he commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, you have heard from me.
For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom of Israel?
And he said to them, It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in his own authority.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and in all of Judea and in Samaria and into the ends of the earth.
Now, when he had spoken these things while they watched, he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight.
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven?
This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will so come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven.
Jesus and the disciples went out from Jerusalem.
They stood there on a hillside.
Jesus talked to them, and as he talked to them, he began to tell them of the events that were going to come.
He said, and not long after this, you will be baptized is the word that we use.
Now, us Baptists know that baptized means to be immersed, not putting indispersons on anybody else, but the word literally means to be immersed.
Jesus said of the disciples, he said, you are going to be baptized.
You're going to be immersed.
You're going to be dunked into.
You're going to be covered up with the Holy Spirit in your life.
Not many days after Pentecost came, and that very same happened thing, that all the disciples were immersed into the Holy Spirit.
For every believer that has ever come to know Jesus as Lord, they are baptized, immersed into the Holy Spirit.
In Romans, it says, if you have not the Spirit of God, you are none of mine.
When we're saved, God gives not only revives our spirit, but He gives His Holy Spirit to come and live in our lives.
But the disciples, they just, they struggle with it.
They couldn't get it.
They said to Jesus, we've got a question for you.
When is Israel going to be restored into its glory?
And what they're asking was, when is Israel going to be a war power like it was when David and Solomon were in charge?
Jesus didn't rebuke them for this, but what he said to them was this.
You don't worry about those things.
I've got bigger fish for you to fry.
Now, I want you to understand that I'm not saying we shouldn't be concerned of what's going on in our government and in our society.
But regardless of what happens in the world around us, the thing that really matters is whether or not we live our lives day in and day out with the awareness that Jesus is in charge.
Jesus said, you don't worry about that.
God's going to take care of those things.
Let me tell you what you need to worry about.
You need to worry about focusing on the task that I've given you, and that is to spread the news that Jesus Christ has come to forgive us of our sins.
You know, it's hard today to get people to understand what you're saying to folks.
It doesn't matter what their sin is.
You can imagine the most grievous sin that anyone could commit.
Jesus says, I know everything that you've done wrong.
I know the choices that you've made, what you've done in the light and in the dark.
And I still love you.
And I'm willing to forgive every sin that you ever committed.
And all you need to do is come and say, I want to make Jesus to me the Lord and Master of my life.
He said to his disciples, just as soon as you see me go away, I'm going to come again.
In fact, as they were watching him descend, I always thought this was interesting.
As Jesus descended into the heavens, the last thing they saw were his feet.
And the last thing they saw of his feet was the nail prints in those feet.
And then there were two men standing there, and they looked at the disciples and they said, don't be troubled.
The same Jesus that has gone away is coming again.
We're going to talk more about the second coming of our Lord in the next segment.
But the thing that he said to those men, the affairs of this world are going to come and go.
Wars are going to come.
Economies will rise and fall.
But the one thing that makes the difference in you is that Jesus is Lord of life and death.
He's the Lord of your life and your death.
And just as those disciples saw him go away, we're going to see him come again.
And in the next segment, we're going to talk about what's going to happen when Jesus comes again.
And surely he will.
Well, I'll tell you, folks, you know, this is a political talk radio program, but we have never masked the fact, and in fact, we make mention of it quite often, that we are Christians here, and this is a Christian program.
And just as we won't back down or be ashamed of our positions on the issues, regardless of what the world may say, just as we showcased in the last hour and as we've been showcasing all month, we will not be ashamed of our ancestors, regardless of what the world may say about them, nor can we be ashamed of our faith.
And we make mention of it, especially at Christmas and Easter time, because it is who we are, and it's very real and genuine.
And I know that perhaps not everyone listening tonight is a believer as we are.
And we appreciate your support on the other things that make this show what it is.
But for those of you who are, I hope you'll appreciate the fact that we bring a message like this, which is very atypical for any type of political program.
I know a lot of programs will mention God in a generic sense or perhaps in a cosmic butler type of sense.
But we will mention the name of Jesus Christ and we'll read from his word.
I know we're coming up on a break here any minute now if we haven't missed it already.
I know sometimes we pop down the commercials, but I sort of have an internal clock when it comes to that.
But in any event, we will wrap it up as Pastor mentioned in our next segment, which is in fact our final segment, and it's going to be coming your way right after this.
Stay tuned, everybody.
Why don't we say to the government writ large that they have to spend a little bit less?
Anybody ever had less money this year than you had last?
Anybody better have a 1% pay cut?
You deal with it.
That's what government needs, a 1% pay cut.
If you take a 1% pay cut across the board, you have more than enough money to actually pay for the disaster relief.
But nobody's going to do that because they're fiscally irresponsible.
Who are they?
Republicans.
Who are they?
Democrats.
Who are they?
Virtually the whole body is careless and reckless with your money.
So the money will not be offset by cuts anywhere.
The money will be added to the debt, and there will be a day of reckoning.
What's the day of reckoning?
The day of reckoning may well be the collapse of the stock market.
The day of reckoning may be the collapse of the dollar.
When it comes, I can't tell you exactly, but I can tell you it has happened repeatedly in history when countries ruin their currency.
Hey, listen up.
This is a deep state alert.
Former Texas Congressman Steve Stockman, who moved to arrest Lois Lerner for contempt of Congress, has been imprisoned by the very office that Lerner led.
You heard right.
Stockman hit the Obama administration hard and they hit back with the full force of the federal government.
The guy who said he wanted Mark Levin as Speaker of the House was the first to threaten Obama's impeachment, exposed Hillary's selling steel to the Iranians, and blocked both Obama's immigration and gun bills from even reaching the House.
But Obama holdovers came after him in federal court with trumped-up charges and have locked our guy up.
Like many others, he was on Obama's hit list.
Steve fought for us in Congress.
Now we need to fight for him.
Don't abandon this wounded hero on the battlefield.
Let's help cover his massive legal costs.
To chip in five bucks or more, text the word fight to 444-999.
That's fight, F-I-G-H-T to 444-999.

You know where the solution can be found, Mr. President?
In churches, in wedding chapels, in maternity wards across the country and around the world.
More babies will mean forward-looking adults, the sort we need to tackle long-term, large-scale problems.
American babies in particular are likely going to be wealthier, better educated, and more conservation-minded than children raised in still industrializing countries.
As economist Tyler Cowan recently wrote, quote, by having more children, you're making your nation more populous, thus boosting its capacity to solve climate change.
The planet does not need for us to think globally and act locally so much as it needs us to think family and act personally.
The solution to so many of our problems at all times and in all places is to fall in love, get married, and have some kids.
Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
And then one day, Across that river, I'll fight life with fame and fail in wide to victory.
We'll talk about triumphant music, Pastor, and that is what Easter is, a victory of Jesus Christ over the grave, a victory for all of us who are believers and what lies for us in the ever after.
And again, ladies and gentlemen, we talk about it so many times: the elements that make this show unique.
And perhaps some of you tune in to hear our political commentary.
Perhaps some of you tune in for other reasons.
Perhaps there's some of what we present that you like and some that you don't agree with all the way.
Perhaps you agree with it all.
But no matter what, you have to say that what we present here is we present it because not because it's fashionable, but because it is who we are.
And we won't be cowed or we won't apologize for any aspect of our identity.
And we will celebrate it and put it all out there.
And I think this show particularly has been quite, quite, quite special to me.
Now, with the last segment we've got before Easter Sunday, Pastor, what are we going to be talking about?
You can't give a gospel message without going to Revelation.
I'm going to ask James to read a couple of verses in the first chapter of Revelation.
This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the last book of the Bible.
And I believe you asked me to read chapter 1, verses 7 and 8.
And they read, Behold, he is coming with clouds, and every eye will see him, even they who pierced him.
And all the tribes of earth will mourn because of him.
Even so, amen.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
One day, and I don't think this will be very long, the Bible says that the trumpet will be sound and the Lord's descend.
The skies will be rolled back like a scroll.
We think the victory of the resurrection is just astounding.
But when Jesus comes in victory, the whole world will see him all at once, one time.
I have people that have wanted to ask, well, you know, some say he's coming from the east and he's coming.
I don't understand that about all of that.
But what I do know is the Bible says every eye will see him.
It also says every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord.
Every believer will bow and confess that he is Lord.
Every unbeliever will bow and confess that he is Lord.
Every liberal, every conservative, every Democrat, every Republican, every Independent, every race, every tongue, every atheist, every denouncer of Christ will bow the knee and confess that Jesus is Lord of all.
The Bible says that he will come with 10,000 of his saints.
What he's talking about is, while there will be some will still be on earth, there will be many that have already gone to glory.
And all of those will come with him to reclaim his own.
I cannot imagine what a victory.
There'll be no debate.
There'll be no appeal.
There is no judge that can say, well, I'm going to block this.
Jesus will be revealed to everyone that is alive or ever has lived to know that he is the sovereign Lord of all.
The words that are used in the scriptures, it says he is an alpa and omega.
That's the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.
And basically what it's saying, he's A to Z. He's the beginning and the end.
And he is the one that has all the world in his hand.
He is described as the one who is, who was, and is to come.
You know what he's saying is?
The same thing that he said to Moses in Genesis when he said, when Moses asked what his name is, and the Lord said, I am is my name.
Not I was, not I'm going to be, but I am.
And he is the great I am.
The world revolves around him.
And when he was coming into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, and the religious leaders of his day said, you shouldn't let all these people praise you and call Hosanna to you.
You remember what he said?
He said, if they didn't praise me, the rocks would cry out.
The world, not just humans, not just the animals, but all the created world will bow before him.
The one thing that I would say to anybody that's listening today is you don't need to wait until Christ comes and you are forced to bow before him.
The time to bow before him is right here and right now.
I'm with James.
James and I are just outside of Memphis, Tennessee.
You may be on the other side of the country.
You may be on the other side of the world.
But God sees you right now.
He sees what you're doing.
He knows what you're thinking.
And he knows your heart.
And you can bow right now and say, Jesus, I want to ask you to forgive my sins.
He said that anyone who confesses his sin and accepts Jesus as his Lord and Master, he will in no wise cast out.
I don't care what you've done.
It doesn't matter who you've offended.
It doesn't matter.
Thank God.
It doesn't matter any of those things.
The only thing that matters is, are you willing to confess your sin and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life?
And if you're willing to do that this day, he will become yours and you will be his.
And that will be for all time and for all eternity.
When the day comes, you will be able to say, my Lord and my Savior.
And I challenge you to do that this very night.
If you are saved, thank God that you're saved and tell somebody today or tomorrow that Jesus Christ is risen and he is Lord of all.
It's really been an honor to have you tonight, Pastor.
And of course, with it being on the night before Easter Sunday, we were heavy on matters of faith tonight, and rightly so.
We're going to continue and finish our Southern series next week, and then it's back to business as usual in May.
But I'm so thankful for what we've been able to do on the radio this month and especially tonight.
Especially tonight.
Pastor, with only seconds remaining, they need to get a Bible-believing church.
And you say there are still churches out there where they can do that.
Their Bible church.
You've heard James say this a lot of times, and I agree with him.
Just because it has a steep on top doesn't mean it's a church.
I got that from you.
Find a church.
And the way you find a good church is you find if they believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God.
If they're saying that the Bible has some mistakes in it and you need to get with the times, you need to find another church.
You need to find a church that just believes that the Bible says what it means and is the written word of God.
That's all the time we have for tonight.
I hear the announcer in the background.
We love you folks.
Happy Easter.
Spend time with your family and praise Jesus Christ tomorrow.
We'll be back with you next week for the rest of the staff and crew.
I'm James Edwards.
