You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Okay, folks, maybe this hour we can catch our breath a little bit.
What fantastic and timely, important content brought to us by Sam Bushman at the bottom part of the second hour.
It's been another frantic night here at the Political Cesspool.
I don't know if you've ever seen the movie Betelgeuse, Betelgeuse starring Michael Keaton and Alec Baldwin and Gina Davis.
A pretty good movie, a Tim Burton movie.
I remember watching it as a kid in the 80s.
I was thinking of Beetlejuice today when Eddie was on with Sam Bushman.
There's a scene in which Michael Keaton's character says, I won't do two shows a night anymore.
I won't do it.
Well, Eddie's doing two shows tonight.
He did the matinee performance this morning with Sam Bushman on LibertyRoundtable.com.
Now he's coming in for the evening show here on TPC.
Two shows in the same day.
Eddie, what did you talk about with Sam?
I know y'all had a rollicking good time for those two hours on Sam's program this morning.
We had a fantastic time.
And unlike our show today, we started with the heavy stuff and ended with the levity.
You know, my favorite part of the whole show, Sam had me laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee in my pants.
He talked about this brewery up in Washington, excuse me, up in Michigan.
And they're coming out with this beer.
And Sam said that the brewery is trying to have trouble.
And I'm going to tell this to you people, and you asked me if you know why they may be having trouble.
They're coming out with one beer called White Guilt Beer.
Get that?
I mean, that was so funny, man.
I thought I was going to pee my pants for Liberty.
And they're coming out with another beer called Black Beer Matters.
Is that right?
I think that's right.
Black Beer Matters.
I mean, Black Beer Matters.
I mean, and then Sam starts telling us about how they got this place that he went to for, I think, for his birthday, where you go and you throw knives and axes, man.
And Sam, this is how wild Sam is.
Sam goes to this place where they're throwing axes and knives.
And then Sam starts telling me about, you know, Sam, Sam, here is Sam up there throwing axes.
They have these places that Sam knows about that they actually throw in the name of the place.
You'll never guess this.
It's called Fat Axe.
I mean, it's too wild.
You can't make this up.
And then Sam was pointing out the fact that these people are going for this and just the psychosis in our country.
You know, it's going on.
And he makes that in at the same time, talking about this Natalie Portman chick saying that if you eat red meat, that's liking you're equal to the Nazi star in the concentration.
Tracy camp.
Natalie Portman, this Jewish actress, said that people who eat red meat are Nazis.
For all intents and purposes, that's what she said.
Well, Sam, Amelia, of course, you know Sam.
He said he's going to go home and have a big old steak, man, to celebrate that.
And, you know, Sam said the next time he goes to fat axe, fat axe throwing to throw axes and knives, he said he couldn't drink any black beer matters.
But I said, well, I could drink it with him, but I'd have to drink mine out of a mason jar.
And Sam knows what we're talking about.
The first time we met Sam at Nashville, me and James and Kurt, what about four or five years ago?
Me and James went up there to pick him up at the airport.
And I was drinking out of a mason jar, a fruit jar, and James' SUV.
And so, Sam, I never lived that down.
But that was the funniest thing.
And Lord knows with the way the world is nowadays, I know James and Sam and Kurt and all will all agree and that we need all the liberty we can get.
I mean, just, you know, just doom after doom after doom, negative, negative, negative.
And it's true.
That's the way it is.
Our world is nowadays.
But we need, Lord knows I need to laugh today.
You know, and, you know.
Oh, I forgot that.
I forgot that.
And Sam said, now this brewery didn't come up with this beer, but Sam said we could have homophobia beer.
Yeah, and that brought the house down.
I think Sam, if they bottled that, I think Sam could get half the price.
The dynamite label right there, young fellow.
Okay, so that was some of the fun they were having.
That was some of the fun they were having, but they actually were the first on the beat to cover a couple of topics that we have covered tonight.
They were talking about Trump barely being granted permission to have his reelection convention in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.
They talked about the fact that this is interesting too.
This was covered when Sam and Eddie were on Liberty Roundtable earlier today, or rather when Eddie was with Sam on Liberty Round Table earlier today.
Of course, we know how the United States media is reacting to Donald Trump's summit with Putin, but the Republican voters are, of course, taking a very different tact.
Donald Trump has an 87% approval rating amongst members of his own party.
So 87%, that is historic.
That is historic.
That is greater than any Republican president in recent history, even when Bush was flying high in the aftermath of 9-11 with mission accomplished and all that stuff, when this patriotic fervor, this misguided and misplaced patriotic fervor, but patriotic fervor nonetheless was at its height right after 9-11 when everybody seemed to be rallying because we were attacked or whatever happened.
Bush was very high.
But Trump's approval ratings are as high as anyone has had, any sitting Republican president has had in recent history.
So those are some of the things they were covering today.
And one of the things we were talking about during the commercial break was the rise of this admitted outspoken socialist.
And to call her a socialist is putting it mildly.
We are talking about Alexandria Cortez in New York.
26-year-old.
26.
Pat Buchanan, we've talked about Pat a couple of times tonight.
Pat has a very interesting, yeah, she is 28.
That is correct.
28 years old.
James said she was a bartender last year.
She was a bartender.
She was tending bar a year ago, and she's going to be in the United States Congress this fall.
Now, that is one hell of a career path from tending bar in New York to being, yeah, she actually did have a job.
That's more than Obama ever had.
So she actually did have a job.
She didn't go from community organizer to president, but she did go from bartender to congressman.
And she will be one of the most powerful people in the world later this fall.
Well, Buchanan wrote a great article about what's going on with her, the story behind the scenes with Alexandria Cortez.
I refuse to refer to anybody with three names in a hyphen.
So she can be Alexandria Ocasio.
She can be Alexandria Cortez.
We're going to call her Alexandria Cortez, not Ocasio-Cortez here on PPC.
But she, being a bartender last year, she doesn't really know that she can't.
There is actually one time she told the truth, and she told the truth about something that I agree with recently, and she got called the carpet for it.
I guess she has to still learn that you can't tell the truth about certain things.
So she may be a white-hating communist, but her only gaffe in this instance was the backpedaling she stirred controversy.
Fox News reports when she made comments about the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
So I guess even a communist like Alexandria can have something that she gets right, and she got that right.
And I should actually even add, though, that I feel as though the student loan and the healthcare rackets in this country are evil and should be completely overhauled.
And I think she's right about some of that stuff, too.
I don't necessarily know if I agree with what would come in their place after she overhauled them.
There's no doubt.
Absolutely unfair what student loans and health care calls are doing to middle class and lower income families, white working class families.
We'll talk more about her and much more when we come back though.
We fought, we learned, we struggled, we won.
Despite Obama's best efforts, the newspaper of the human resistance survives.
We have lived only to face a new nightmare, the war against the machines.
Read about our struggle in The Sovereign, newspaper of the resistance.
The Sovereign is a 24-page monthly tabloid newspaper about the war between man and machines.
We've tried reason.
We've tried legislation.
We've tried every peaceful means imaginable.
And all it's gotten us is shut out.
So now we fight the machines.

The human resistance's battle against the machines will be everlasting.
This is mercy.
It was never our destiny to stop the age of Obama.
It was merely to survive it.
Together, together.
Hi, I'm Dave.
I'm seven years old.
I'm sitting here in the corner having a timeout until mom comes to talk to me.
All I did was cut my sister's hair.
I was just trying to help.
I guess mom didn't like how I did it.
In a minute, she'll be back and ask me if I know what I did.
It was wrong.
Maybe I shouldn't have cut her hair.
And she'll say we all make mistakes because we're just learning about stuff.
And she'll give me a hug and want to talk about more stuff.
No matter what you talk to your kids about, love is what they'll hear.
I really like mom's timeouts.
And I think she likes them too.
Yeah, I think they help her remember how much she loves me.
A thought from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Visit us at mormon.org.
Can a nation conceived in liberty carry its head high if it denies protection to the youngest and most vulnerable of its citizens?
Can a country founded on God-given rights continue to thrive without understanding that life is a precious gift from our Creator?
As a physician, I have looked into the eyes of one-pound babies.
I have cradled their small bodies in the palm of one hand.
I defy those who are careless, who would disregard life and look at these tiny little miracles and say, we're not going to protect that.
But I believe there will come a time when we are all judged on whether or not we took a stand in defense of all life from the moment of conception until our last natural breath.
thing I promise you, I will always take a stand for life.

And now, back to tonight's show.
Okay, so we had a little laugh at the top of the segment, but what we're going to do now is kind of tie in a few things we've been talking about.
And let me paint the picture for you if I can.
Now, I'm not schizophrenic.
I do believe what I told Henrik Palmgren earlier in the show, that I think that white people are going to be fine.
I think that we're going to have a great renaissance.
I think that if it can happen in Eastern Europe, where they were murdered by the millions by the Bolsheviks, you want to see people who are black-pilled.
Imagine being a Russian Christian in the 1900s, in the early to mid-1900s, and even beyond that.
Imagine.
Talk about being black-pilled.
And now, Eastern Europe, Russia especially, are the keys to white survival, the keys to the survival of Christianity, I believe.
So if they can turn it around, we can turn it around.
So I do think that there's many reasons to be hopeful.
And I think there's going to be a great renaissance amongst our people in the Western world.
But that doesn't mean that it's going to be an interesting path to reclamation.
The things that may come first may be much worse than they are now.
Pat Buchanan wrote an interesting, we've referenced Pat three or four times tonight, but he's our North Star.
I mean, really, he is a North Star in terms of being able to articulate common sense in an age that lacks reason.
No party for old white men is the title of his column that deals with the victory of Alexandria Cortez in New York.
This is what Pat writes.
For Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer, and Joe Biden, the primary results from New York's 14th congressional district are a firebell in the night.
All may be swept away in the coming revolution.
That is the message of the crushing defeat of 10-term incumbent Joe Crowley, who had aspired to secede Nancy Pelosi and become the Speaker of the House.
The number four in command Democrat.
Crowley, 56, had not faced primary opposition since 2004.
He outspent Alexandria Cortez, a 28-year-old who was tending bar last year by 10 to 1.
The Democratic Party takes working-class communities for granted.
They take people of color for granted, railed Cortez.
The party assumes that we're going to turn out no matter how bland or half-stepping their proposals are.
Now, imagine somebody being so upset with the Democrats that they're not left-wing enough.
And this is her.
A Democratic socialist, she is, endorsed by Move On, that's George Soros, Black Lives Matter, and People for Bernie.
She is for abolishing ICE.
Open borders.
These rising forces in the Democratic coalition are looking to bury the Democratic Party of yesterday, where white males and older ethnic groups were dominant.
It seems certain now that the summer of 2020 will see a woman, a person of color, or both on the Democratic ticket.
Two whites would likely offend the rising base.
Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine may have been the last of the all-white Democratic tickets we will ever see.
However, inside this emerging Democratic majority of people of colors, fractures and fissures are already visible.
So what Pat's talking about here is that the age of white Democrats is over and something even more radical than Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, something much more dangerous than even these evil people is coming.
And it comes in the form of Alexandria Cortez as one, Bernie Sanders.
This is what's happening.
This is what's coming in the Democratic Party.
Maxine Waters, who's now saying that the public should push back and confront anytime they see a Trump supporter.
So this gets back to what we were talking about earlier in the show.
How far away are we now with this being the rise in time of the Democratic Party?
I think this is going to be good for Trump, though.
I think when you get outright communists representing the other side, people even more frank about their communism than people like Hillary Clinton.
I think that's going to help Trump in 2020.
But nevertheless, that's what is filling the void in the Democratic Party.
And we were talking about how long is it?
How much longer will we be able to run a hotel room?
It's already so difficult to run a hotel room if you're a conservative group.
Donald Trump's Republican Party barely was allowed to come to Charlotte in 2020.
And now you've got people like this on the rise.
You have people like Congressman Cohen saying, and I quote, a sitting United States congressman saying, quote, where is our military?
The commander-in-chief is in the hands of our enemy.
What is that if not a whisper, a wink at a military coup that he's asking for?
That's what's going on now, Eddie.
The GOP can barely hold its own conventions now.
Cortez and people like her are taking over the Democratic Party.
You have other congressmen saying, you know, hinting at a military coup that they'd like to see.
We live in interesting times.
Yes, you know, like we talked during the break, James, matter of fact, he's my congressman.
And he called you reprehensible from the floor of the United States Congress.
Well, what do you think he's going to do to me if he's willing to have a military coup?
That's the question.
That is a fantastic question.
If people like if people like Trump, if he's calling for a military coup to sack someone like Trump or hinting that that ought to be done, and how serious was he in that?
And in that hint, what does that mean?
If the president isn't safe from these wild calls, what about the rest of us?
You know what?
He's having to do that because he's seeing this young Hispanic up here in New York.
He's seen Maxine Waters go and call for blood literally.
You know what?
These people like these young communists coming out, they're not going to be satisfied until we have complete total 100% wealth redistribution.
They really want our blood.
That's what we've been preaching for years here now.
We talked about at the political success pool, family reunion.
These people hate us.
They will not be satisfied until they have us in the grave.
Now, I'm not as optimistic as James is on that we're going to, you know, how we're going to get through this.
Yeah, I think we will probably get through it.
But you know what?
And you look at the Soviet Union, how right now, and this is leading to a point, right now, Putin, thanks to Putin, a lot of people aren't as pro.
Sam's not as high on Putin as I am.
I don't think they're called the Soviet Union anymore.
Well, in the old Soviet Union, you know, they came from the, they did come from where just mass murder, millions of people were murdered there.
But they had to go through all that.
And now, Putin in Russia, here's what he's doing.
I'll give you a little hint.
You're not going to see any six foot four transsexuals, you know, demonites coming to the elementary schools in the Soviet Union, reading fairy tales to the children there.
Putin has totally eliminated, he's outlawed all this homosexual crap in the schools.
Under Putin, there's been 60, over, get this, over 60,000 Christian churches built in Russia.
Also, you know, he, and we mentioned this, we've mentioned this, I don't know how many times, but I got to say it one more time.
Under Putin, he got these Zionist Jewish bankers, brought them on the carpet, prosecuted them for the way they got their ill-gotten gangs through thievery, murder, drug, you know, drug, selling on the streets, drug dealing, human slavery, human trafficking.
That's how he got there.
Okay, Putin has outlawed all that.
They've got a great, they've got a great renaissance going Christian.
And they're encouraging people to have reproducibility.
Meanwhile, like James and Sam has been pointing out, name me one city.
I don't care if even it's in the deep south, maybe Pontoc, Mississippi, you know, maybe Bells, Tennessee, but name me one major city.
And I mean right here in Memphis or Nashville or Atlanta or, you know, Dalton, Georgia.
Name me one city in the United States where conservative people, this old, old white man, can go and have any type of a rally without putting themselves in danger because ANAFI is going to go them wherever they go.
And just what Sam said in the last hour, all these communist groups coming out.
Well, certainly, I mean, you can still rent a room as Jared Taylor did and as Jared has done and as they did with the state parks.
But I believe that is tenuous.
Yeah, yes.
That's short-lived.
Anyway, you were about to make another point, but the break was coming up.
But even then, you shouldn't have to be relegated to a state facility in order to have, I mean, in the hinterland.
I mean, in the hinterland.
We'll be back right after this.
We'll be back right after this.

I'm Michael Hill, president of the League of the South.
I and my compatriots are Southern nationalists.
We seek the survival, well-being, and independence of the Southern people, our people.
The League wants a South that enjoys the sweet fruits of Christian liberty and prosperity, but our current situation won't allow it.
We must have our independence from Washington, D.C. and the globalists.
The present system cannot be reformed.
Without independence, we will continue down this path of destruction.
To us, this is not acceptable.
I'm asking you, Southern man and woman, to join us today to free the South.

So I guess what we're talking about this hour is I am hopeful that our future is bright.
I think it will be bright, but that doesn't mean that it's not going to get darker first, and it's not going to get harder and rougher first.
We see, of course, the news tightening with regards to what rights and liberties that we have remaining as members of the dispossessed majority, dissidents, really not so much dissidents even now from the president, but dissidents certainly from the establishment media and some of these other organizations.
I think most Americans obviously agree with us, at least most white Americans.
And by no means are our ideas fringe.
They just don't have any power in the institutions of power.
A lot of regular, good, hardworking, taxpaying, God-fearing American citizens agree with us, but they don't have power either.
But that's what we're talking about.
It is getting more difficult to exercise our rights.
And we see this rise of radical left-wing ideologues in the Democratic Party, especially outspoken in your faith.
They're not even trying to hide it anymore.
And it's funny because the media talked about how Donald Trump, first of all, very quickly, just make it quickly.
I'll lose my train of thought and lose the questions I want to ask you, but we talked about this earlier.
30 seconds or less.
How did you think Trump's meeting with Putin went?
And I'll tell you why I'm asking you that after you answer.
Just for what I know, I think it went great.
For once, what do you do?
I know this for sure.
They're starting to take South African immigrants into Russia.
I made mention of that earlier.
That's right.
Oh, you did?
Okay.
Now, also, Putin and Trump have negotiated this deal.
They're trying to be able to return 1.7 million Syrian refugees back to their homelands.
They're also on the side, what I've been reading, I think from the New York Post, they're negotiating, trying to negotiate some kind of a peace in Syria.
So that's good news right there.
You know, as a matter of fact, and also, you know, Trump's been catching all this hail because he's meeting with Russians.
He's meeting with Putin.
Are you not supposed to meet with the head of the world's other superpower?
Are you not supposed to meet?
And if you do meet with him, you're supposed to embarrass him and make sure there's no goodwill.
I mean, for Trump to go there, they won't war.
But they won't.
Exactly.
They won't war.
For Trump to meet with Putin, as he should be doing, Russia should be our greatest ally.
And I love Putin's style.
Obama met with him.
And yeah, but not to accomplish anything productive.
I mean, Trump actually had a goodwill, productive meeting.
And they wanted to get rid of the tariffs.
But this is the point.
Yeah, all boycott of Russia.
They talked about a variety of things that will help both nations.
That's what you want your presidents to do.
The reason I ask you that was we covered that extensively in the early part of the week.
I just want one thing.
You might not know about this.
You know, there was a huge boycott of Russia, embargo.
I'm losing my train of thought.
But there's an embargo or boycott against Russia.
But the EU, the United States, Canada, et cetera, et cetera.
And you know who pushed it wide open?
Israel.
The Zionist Jews in Israel have pushed this boycott wide open.
But guess who's the main number one trading partner of Russia right now?
This is how smart these people are diabolical.
Israel.
Israel is making, they are just making money hand over fist dealing with Russia.
But guess what?
The United States can't deal with them.
The EU can't deal with them.
But Israel can deal with them because they're, I mean, is that slick or not?
But I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to get you to talk about it.
No, no, but this is fine.
And that's a good point to make, too.
But the reason I asked you about Putin and Trump, and this gets us back finally now to the topic we were discussing in the previous segment.
The reason I asked you about that is because almost universally, Trump's meeting with Putin has not just been condemned, but they are declaring that Trump committed treason for the way he handled.
I mean, you have establishment publications, some of the biggest publications in this country, declaring that Trump was guilty of treason for the way he handled Putin.
And everything he did was completely.
I mean, it reminded me of why I voted for Trump.
I think it was maybe one of the best moments of his presidency, if not the best moment of his presidency.
But there was in all capital letters in the New York Daily News the headline, open treason.
So they're saying that's open treason, right?
While you have a sitting member of Congress hinting that he'd like to see the military sack.
I don't know why that's you have a sitting member of the United States Congress hinting that the military should sack the president.
You have people here even in your own running group sack.
Tell us what's going on there.
Listen, we have people in our own running groups.
God knows I love the running group.
But the politics, the viciousness is getting all the way down to the base, from the very top of the Democratic Party, all the way to the base, these ne'er-do-wells, these airheaded little 22-year-olds that think they want to be a communist.
It's gotten so bad that ahead of our running group, a couple of months ago, when this white woman comes out, and she's holding, like, does a cartoon, she's holding Trump's head in effigy.
Well, this fellow comes out and says, and he's serious.
He puts it on Facebook.
He says, the only thing I hate about that is because it wouldn't Trump's real head.
And guess what?
He put that on Facebook, and people in our running group called him down and have since left the group because they said that is crossing the line.
Even some young Democrats said that's crossing the line.
He said, well, I don't care.
Here was his statement.
He responded to him on Facebook.
He said, I don't care how we get rid of Trump.
Any way we can get rid of him, that's what I'm for.
This is where we're at.
This is where we're at.
You said the Secret Service would be called on that.
So this is two examples.
You've got a sitting United States congressman hinting at a military coup that he would like to see happen.
It says you got on one hand a congressman, on one hand, just a nobody that you know here in the local running group that you belong to, saying that the only problem that he had with Kathy Griffin doing the thing with Trump said was that it wasn't his real head.
So that goes from the very top of the Democratic Party down to the grassroots.
And that's not treason.
But what is treason, according to our press, our controlled lying press, is that Trump met with Putin and had a productive meeting.
That's treason.
I'm going to tell you something.
You're calling for a coup or a murder is not.
Absolutely, absolutely.
It's supposed to be treason because he's over here, you know, getting punked by Russia.
Now, let me tell you who's been punking us.
And we talked about that today, me and Sam and Matt.
We've been getting punked by Israel.
Israel has had more to do with our elections here in the United States than anybody, more than Mexico.
Yeah, the Mexicans do have a lot to handle, have a lot of influence on our elections.
And Rand Paul said that recently.
Rand Paul said Mexico has had more influence over our elections than Russia.
And how do they get in here?
Because the Israelites, the Israelis, the Zionist Jews have been pounding the beat, open our borders, open our borders, bring all these people in here.
Absolutely.
And because we know, like we said today, Israel and the Zionist Jew bankers, they completely own the money system.
They completely own the media.
Every time Trump does something, all they get to do is crank up the media.
Why the hell?
And here's another.
Right.
I mean, so if one nation has had more influence over American government, which of the two do you think, Israel or Russia?
I ask you that audience.
And this is another thing we talked about, I talked about with Henrik Palmgren in the first hour, is this situation with the supposed Russian interference of the election.
And I think, you know, what they're talking about is if all of it's true, if all of it's true, you have a few Twitter accounts that belong to Russian nationals, and they say that they had such big Twitter followings that that cost everything.
Maybe they stole a few emails that showed how the Democrats robbed Bernie Sanders of the nomination in a completely rigged primary with Hillary Clinton.
All of that, though, that's nothing.
What happens when America, when an election doesn't go the way America wants?
They blow countries up.
We blow it up all the time.
Not we, but the American government.
You know, everybody knows, James, everybody and his mama knows that if we have one politician in the Congress, a senator, I don't care how long he's been there, a congressman, if he doesn't tow the mark to Israel, he ain't getting no campaign money.
His name is going to be slaughtered in the press.
They're going to finance a guy to run against him, and he's going to lose.
You know what?
They brag about this.
Why Net News, why NET news in Israel?
They brag about that.
They say, yes, we run America.
America is a colony of ours.
It was the tail wagging the dog.
And yet people are going to sit here and say, Russia meddled in our elections.
That's the biggest crock I've ever heard in my life.
And even if, look, even if every nation, experts say that even China is a bigger threat to our elections and to our sovereignty.
You don't think America's involved in this sort of stuff?
You don't think America, I mean, we just talk about them just outright blowing countries off the map.
You don't think they're involved with the little spying, a little espionage?
You don't think they have people that try to manipulate things that go on in other countries?
I mean, that's what all these agencies are for.
All we do is just roast innocent civilians in places like Dresden, Germany.
All the thing we do, you know, and we talk about, oh, we're worried about the proliferation of nuclear weapons.
Who's the only people in the United States history, in American history, to ever use nuclear weapons?
That's us.
You know, that's true.
You know, this guy, I wish my memory was as good as Sam's.
We had this super rich New York Jew.
He's given more money to, in fact, he gave a pile of money to Trump, as a matter of fact.
But him, the Jews, Goldman and Sachs, the number one financers of the Democratic Party, out and out communists.
You tell me, I mean, and they're all Zionists.
All right, I've got to give you the best news of the night.
We've given you enough to think on about this.
We got one segment left.
We're going to end on a high note, and this is going to be the yin and the yang.
We've talked about some of the challenges we face, but I'm going to give you a good news story.
Fire it up when we come back.
I'm going to give you a good news story when we come back.
Getting the kids to school, cleaning the house, doing the laundry.
It seems that the work routine as a stay-at-home mom is never ending.
And even though I'm a prime grocery shopper in our family of four, I simply don't have time to scrutinize all the labels on the countless food products I buy.
Oh, sure, I've noticed all the latest certification seals, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free.
It definitely seems to be the latest craze.
But it was only recently that kosher certification seals caught my attention.
You see, my husband had me download an app called Kosher Certified, and it shed light on a century-old certification industry that slipped under the radar screen from the majority of our public.
I also noticed a question mark at the end of the app name.
And that makes great sense as there's far more questions regarding this industry than answers.
In fact, the developers refer to this as the kosher question.
Sure, I'm a busy mom and didn't pay attention to our food culture, but now I have transparency, a convenient grocery list feature, and the ability to eat in favor of my family's best interests.
And you can discover it too at thekosherQuestion.com.

As the United States boldly stepped forward in the glorious light provided by its new constitution in 1787, the nations of the earth were in awe of the newfound strength and hope of this free land.
Today, the nation stands at a crossroads.
A divergence from the original intent put forth in the United States Constitution has brought grave threats to our beloved nation.
A miracle is needed if the United States is to survive.
That miracle is again the pure application of the United States Constitution.
I'm Scott Bradley.
In my To Preserve the Nation book and lecture series, I bring forth truths that will help raise up a new generation of statesmen like those noble Americans who founded this land.
Vigorous application of these principles will invigorate and restore the nation, and we may become again the freest, most prosperous, most respected, and happiest nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com to begin that restoration.

Okay, so I think tomorrow's going to be better than yesterday.
It may be a little more painful to get there from here.
But as I said, that's how I feel.
And we've been talking, though, a little more this hour about some of the things that are not encouraging trends, like the rise of people like Alexandria Cortez.
The Democratic Party is moving even more to the left, even almost to outright communism.
In your face, anti-white hatred.
They don't even try to mask it anymore.
And you have a military coup being suggested for the president.
Republicans are even having a hard time booking a venue now.
So those are things that are coming up.
But as those things continue to manifest, people realize and people see that.
And our people are doing what they can.
They are responding in ways that they can.
And here's one of the ways that they're doing it.
Right here in Tennessee, very encouraging news.
This was statewide news this week, really being covered by outlets, television, and newspapers.
I saw it on the front page of the commercial appeal here in Memphis.
I've seen it on television.
The National Tennessean did a big article on it.
So from one side of the state to the other, this has been very big news and very encouraging news.
More Tennesseans are sporting Confederate flag license plates than ever before, ever before.
So the Sun, this is a, what do they call it?
Like a personalized license plate.
It's just one of these specialty plates.
They call them a specialty license plate.
And they've got them for all different kinds of causes, and you see them all the time.
It's a specialty license plate.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans are the ones that sponsor it, and the proceeds benefit the SCV's Tennessee division.
As a matter of fact, the SCV is actually headquartered in Tennessee.
Now, these plates, these specialty plates have been issued, officially issued by the state of Tennessee since 2004.
So now you get a little background.
And they're beautiful plates.
They are nice.
They're nice.
They came out in 04.
And the big news, though, is that in spite of the fact that they have been around for 14 years, more Tennesseans are sporting them on their cars now than ever before.
So you would have thought since 2004 to 2018, maybe the number would have dwindled.
But they have spiked up.
Now, listen to this.
Not only have they spiked up, they have spiked up precipitously since 2015, which is when the big war against all things Confederates started to really destasize.
Well, that's another thing.
Since Charlottesville.
Well, let me just read a couple of passages from the article.
Charlottesville did have some positive.
The number of Tennesseans now displaying the Confederate battle flag license plate is higher than at any other point, according to state data on the specialty tags.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans Plate, the proceeds benefit the Tennessee division.
We just mentioned that.
But listen to this.
At the end of the 2018 fiscal year, the SCV license plates were active that were active in Tennessee at a number 72% higher than at the end of 2015 when the display of Confederate flags was thrust into the national debate.
Let me read that one more time for emphasis.
At the end of 2018, the number of people with these specialty Confederate flag license plates here in Tennessee was 72% higher than it was at 2015 when the display of Confederate flags was thrust into the national debate.
Now, we know how that debate was presented by the lying press.
You got to remove them.
You're evil if you have them.
I can't believe you would have a Confederate flag.
What kind of redneck are you?
Blah, blah, blah.
It was all negative.
Well, in response to that, the number of people in Tennessee that are supporting the plates are now 72% higher than it was when that started.
So in the last three years, they've gone up 72% to an all-time high right here in the state of Tennessee, people driving cars.
Now, this isn't, you know, and I know in some states on your front bumper, you can have like just, I don't know, a decorative license plate, just whatever you want to have for fun.
Now, this is your official drive-your-car license plate.
This isn't just something you, this is officially, this is your license plate.
And it's got the Confederate flag, highest of all time, 72% higher than it was three years ago.
So in the last three years, when the war against all things Confederate has been more intense than ever before, people are responding overwhelmingly in favor to get this, at least in this instance, with regard to the license plate to an all-time high.
And that was big news in the state this year because those numbers were just released.
You know what?
That's a great morale booster because that right there is living proof that all is not lost in our people.
You know, we often wonder, and I'm sure our listeners will wonder too, how many people really think like they're out there saying, oh, I guess I'm the only one.
Am I the only one that thinks like this?
Yep, you don't.
But, you know, that right there shows that there is a spark of life.
Well, here's the thing.
So you ask, where are all these people?
Well, these people have families.
These are mothers and these are fathers that are putting these plates.
The people who are driving around with the Confederate license plate on are probably the best people in this state.
They're people that go to church.
They're people that pay their taxes.
They're people that raise their family under God's law.
I guarantee you, if you see a person with a Confederate flag license plate on, that's the kind of guy you'd want to go to and ask for help.
Well, first, yes, thank them number one.
And I do that.
Anytime I see a tag like this or anytime I see even a bumper sticker, if I see it on a car in a parking lot, I'll take out a little, I'll go to my car, I'll take out a little piece of scratch paper and write a note.
Thank you for displaying the flag.
God bless you.
I do that.
But so anybody that would have that license plate on, that's going to be the kind of person you'd want to go to and ask for help.
If your car breaks down, you go up and knock on their window and say, hey, can I borrow your phone?
These are people that would do you right.
And you ask where they are.
Well, these people, because they have families, they are certainly concerned about public activism because they see what happens.
In the case of Charlottesville, in the most extreme example, if you try to defend yourself against people who are trying to kill you, you go to jail for 10 years or more.
We've seen that.
At the very least, you're going to be called a racist.
So yes, they're not, unfortunately, they're not chomping at the bit to get out and get on the front lines.
But this is just their way of saying, hey, we're taking our stand in our daily lives.
The best way we can take that.
There needs to be more.
There's going to have to be more at some point.
Our people are going to have to give more.
But at least these people are doing something.
And to them, displaying the flag on their license plate is a way of saying, you know what, I am right thinking.
I'm not ashamed to be right thinking.
I may not go to a rally, but I will do this and I will set this example in our day-to-day lives.
And so that's a start.
It does take courage.
As Sam mentioned, you know, especially around Memphis, Memphis and Shelby County, that's a good way to run, you know, having a Confederate battle flag license plate or Confederate battle flag, anything, decal, that's a good way to draw an unruly, a vicious crowd around your vehicle.
Sam made a good point.
So it does take courage.
I salute those people.
Yes, I do.
Everybody can't get in the front lines day in and day out.
Like you mentioned, James, a lot of these people have families.
They have small children.
They can't go out and risk it all.
They have to worry about their feeding their families.
But I salute that.
That is wonderful news.
You know, I'd like to give a shout out to our good buddy, our brother, Gene Andrews.
You know, he's working.
He's been up in Chattanooga?
Is that where I'm at?
No, he's Gene's in Nashville.
Well, he's where they have the conference.
Chapel Hill, he manages the, he's a caretaker at the Nathan Bedford Forest Childhood Home in Chapel Hill.
They were having some kind of a reunion up there.
Oh, is he in Chattanooga for something else?
Yeah, for this CSA, for the Sons of Some Conference.
They may be having a meeting they were having.
I don't know.
I was talking to him about that.
I forgot.
You know, my old 71-year-old memory.
But I'd like to salute him for that.
And also, I think Rich is big in the Sons of Confederate Veterans, too.
Well, he'll be texting me if he's not.
Well, he better get that membership there because you know what?
Gene is the one that horsewaggled me into getting into the League of the South.
You know, I'm going.
Well, that was Rich that got you in the league.
Excuse me, Rich.
Yeah, I'm like, boy, I'm really dropping the ball tonight.
Well, that's why you shouldn't do two shows a day.
You got to stick.
You can't, you're too old for two shows tonight.
But you know, yeah, he got me in the league.
And yeah, I told him, you know, I was down there with TumpCone, borrowed money, didn't have any money to put out in the cotton pick in the league.
He said, you better come up with it.
I missed it.
It was another beer joke.
You had the Bill Clinton joke, the Bill Clinton beer, and you made it where you can't remember.
There you go.
Yeah.
Yeah, Bill Clinton beer.
That's right.
Amen to that, buddy.
Oh, also, Sam said, listen, people, the first people who send in $100 donation tonight will get a case of fake beer.
What it will be is, you know, we will get a case of chaos filled up with good old Memphis tap water.
Actually, though, that's not that bad of a deal because Memphis tap water is some of the purest in the entire country.
We have that aquifer here, and the Memphis, I mean, you can drink right out of the tap, but it tastes just about as good as stuff you'd buy in a bottle.
Memphis has remarkably clean and clear and good-tasting tap water.
When I was at the University of Memphis, we had a chemistry instructor out there, professor, what do you call him, and they test that water.
He said the water was just sterile almost.
And he said where they screwed up, he said they started putting chlorine fluoride in it.
He said they didn't need anything.
It was just yep, if you drink the water.
That's right.
You drink the water for become a racist.
That's right.
Sam nailed it.
James is right.
It's like I always say, everything causes cancer and everything is racist.
And that's right, Adrian.
You got that right.
But anyway, well, we're about out of time tonight.
Another three hours has come and gone here on TPC.
We'll be back with you next week.
Almost August.
Got to have a ball tonight.
Almost August.
I love our audience.
Almost fall.
Yes, we do.
We love you, folks, for Eddie and Jack and our guest, Henrik, tonight, and Sam and everyone else associated with our program.
