Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
Thanks for the broadcast of the Political Festival Saturday, June 23rd.
And it is, as you heard, the day after my birthday.
Sam Bushman really went above and beyond the call of duty with the opening numbers to each of the four segments of the first hour.
I actually laughed out loud at each of them after the second or third when I was anticipating another song to come up.
But there was such variety in his selection that it got me every time.
What can I say?
And I am actually still on my way to a better connection.
I'm on the phone.
Sam said, listen, it's the day after your birthday.
Don't worry about coming in tonight.
I got it covered.
I said, well, Sam, I appreciate that, but work must intrude.
Work, the show must go on.
And I insisted on coming in the last two hours to spend that time with you as well, my extended family of listeners.
And I do want to say, what a fantastic job.
I got to listen to the entire first hour with Sam.
And we're always fortunate to have such an icon guest hosting and guest anchoring for us, whether he's appearing as a guest or doing the hosting duties as he did in the first hour.
Always a blessing to the broadcast to be able to rely on him to do the good work.
But much more than that, this evening, we were really operating on a skeleton crew.
So on one hand, fortunate to have a man with 25 plus years of broadcasting experience under his belt, but also lucky tonight with Winston Smith was going to be called up out of the dugout to host the first hour.
And he got called away on a business trip.
So then Eddie DeBavadier Miller was going to be on deck and he had a bicycle wreck and is in the hospital and pretty banged up.
Sam gave you a little information about that, but it could have been much, much worse.
And if he wasn't wearing a helmet, had he not been wearing a helmet, that would have most certainly been the case.
So there was Sam at last minute, last call, and doing great work.
And I'm so glad that he selected the topic.
I said, Sam, it's dealer's choice.
Your dime, your dance for first hour.
You cover what you want to cover, what you think the audience needs to hear about.
And I left it in his capable hands.
And he did a fantastic job with selecting the media's treatment of the immigration issue, the illegal immigration issue.
That is something that is the topic right now, the so-called separation policy.
I thought he applied a good treatment, and I'd already had it in mind to spend a segment or two on the subject as well.
First of all, let's talk about this new low in fake news coverage.
Sam mentioned it.
I'd like to expound upon it just a moment.
So you've seen the Time magazine cover photo, and it has Donald Trump looking big and imposing down on this crying girl.
What we found out, the Honduras government, the Honduran government, of course, made it known that the girl was not crying because she had been separated from her mother.
I don't know.
Perhaps it has been stated.
I haven't read exactly why she was crying.
Maybe she was crying because what she's a three, four, five-year-old girl.
That's what they do at that age.
Maybe a Border Patrol agent aid or candy bar.
I don't know.
But that's one thing.
So is that a new low in fake news?
A new low in fake news to show this crying girl.
And isn't it interesting that these left-wing anti-white anti-Christian zealots are pulling on the heartstrings of good people by showing this crying girl?
It's interesting that they care about kids now.
I thought they were the ones that were advocating that we murder these babies while they grow in their mother's womb.
So they're for murdering children, but they also are all about the children.
And when it comes time to stick it to people like us, right?
So there's that.
But just they're using that photo so dishonestly.
Is that a new low?
Well, frankly, as far as I'm concerned, it's par for the course.
It's par for the course.
Where have we seen things like this before?
Oh, I know.
How about 14 years hosting the political festival?
I've seen things like this a time or two.
You remember the Confederate flag rally that TPC held in Memphis in 2015?
We drew over 500 people.
There was an AP photo, an associated press photo of the bombardier, Eddie Miller, holding a big, beautiful Confederate battle flag.
And it appeared in dozens and dozens of newspapers all around the world.
I think it was really over 100 newspapers that carried that picture right after that rally was held.
But that wasn't the last time you would see that picture, is it?
No, do you remember this?
I sure remember.
I started seeing that picture again.
They used that picture from our rally at Nathan Bedford Forest grave site in 2015 to illustrate stories about legitimate Ku Klux Klan rallies later on.
And it happened at least on a handful of occasions.
There would be a story about a Ku Klux Klan rally that we had no involvement with, that we did not attend, that we did not know about until we saw the picture in another state.
And they used the picture of Eddie Miller at our rally in 2015 to illustrate the Klan, the Klan story.
Then this year, in advance of the American Renaissance Conference, they used a picture from a Klan rally to illustrate a story about Jared Taylor's gathering.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your lying press, your establishment media here in the United States.
They will use a picture of a crying girl that has nothing to do with being separated from her mother to help try and sway popular opinion to put pressure on the president.
They will take a rally of good people defending the great general Nathan Bedford Forrest and use that picture to illustrate a story about the Klan.
And then they'll take a picture from a Klan rally and use it to illustrate Jared Taylor's meeting.
That's your press.
That's what we've got here in America.
Isn't it a wonderful country?
Well, and I want to say another thing about what's going on at the border.
I don't have a problem at all with the separation.
I think, though, that the problem is that we allow them to get to the point where they're actually being processed to begin with.
Why aren't they just turned away before they're ever even allowed in?
Why aren't when they are caught, they are sent immediately expelled back to the other side of the border.
I don't care how you do it.
I don't care how you do it.
Just Ladies and gentlemen, Western civilization is in peril now.
What happens when we're swamped demographically?
When we are swamped demographically with people from the third world.
Sam Bushman touched on it a moment ago.
We take on third world identity.
You can't have a first world nation with a third world population.
And I can tell you, I have seen it with my own eyes.
The neighborhood where my grandparents lived in the 1950s and 60s in Memphis has been colonized.
If you got in your car at my house, I'll tell you when we come back.
I'll finish the story when we come back.
We'll be right back.

We fought.
We learned.
We struggled.
Despite Obama's best efforts, the newspaper of the human resistance survives.
We have lived only to face a new nightmare, the war against the machines.
Read about our struggle in The Sovereign, newspaper of the resistance.
The Sovereign is a 24-page monthly tabloid newspaper about the war between man and machines.
We've tried reason.
We've tried legislation.
We've tried every peaceful means imaginable.
And all it's gotten us is shut out.
So now we fight the machines.
Order online today at thesovenews.com or find the sovereign at select newsstands.
Remember to read The Sovereign, newspaper of the resistance.
The human resistance's battle against the machines will be everlasting.
This is mercy.
It was never our destiny to stop the age of Obama.
It was merely to survive it.
Together, together.
So, you two are real actors, huh?
Well, I was an extra on a soap opera for three years.
And I'm best known for starring in cat food commercials.
And you're going to play our parents for how long?
Oh, just during dinner for the next few years, probably until you're both off to college.
Your real parents will be back every night at 8 o'clock.
8 o'clock?
Hey, your dad's busy.
He's got work, softball, client function.
Yeah, and your mom, she's got the literary club and play rehearsals.
Don't you worry, they'll be back on time.
Otherwise, we get time and a half.
Ka-ching!
Okay, according to the script, we're supposed to ask you how your day was.
Yes.
Um, okay, I guess.
Oh, is that the best you can do?
I think I want my real parents.
I don't see them in the script.
No ad-libbing, please.
There's no substitute for a loving parent.
And when you're really there, you'll know how much you care.

And now, back to tonight's show.
Okay, everybody.
I literally slipped into the studio during that last commercial break, and now you should be hearing me with studio quality.
My family had a little something planned for me tonight, and we finished that up, and then I came on into work to spend the rest of my birthday weekend with you.
And of course, yesterday was my birthday, so I spent the entire day with my family.
So I'm not shortchanging my family.
But it was, as Sam said, also very important that I spend a little time with my listening family this evening.
And we're talking about the so-called separation policy.
What happens when you become inundated with people from the third world?
You become a third world nation.
You don't bring them up to your standard of living.
Not all of them anyway.
You can bring in some and bring them up, but ultimately you're swamped and they're going to bring you down to that level.
Now, I can tell you this, that I've seen this with my own eyes.
I will give you one instance of this, that the neighborhood I was mentioning this before the break that my grandparents grew up in, a working-class neighborhood in the 50s and 60s and 70s and even the 80s.
And I spent time there in the 90s before my grandparents passed away.
And it was a wonderful little neighborhood.
Nothing fancy, but it was clean.
The lawns were well manicured.
It was first world living.
And now, if you got a car at my house and you closed your eyes and I drove you 15 minutes to this location, you would think that we somehow teleported to Mexico.
It looks like a third world area.
And by that, I mean everything's run down.
It just feels dangerous because, of course, there is higher crime in that area.
The stores, the once meticulously manicured stores and shops now have signage that is painted.
And I'm talking about a board, a wooden board with paint.
The name of the shop's painted on.
It looks like what you would think a movie set of Mexico would be.
So that's what happens.
That's what happened in that neighborhood.
And that's what happens when people of that culture predominate.
But let's talk turkey about this so-called separation policy.
Two ways I'll look at it.
Number one, and to me, this was my immediate takeaway.
To me, it's abundantly clear that the parents who bring children with them while committing the crime of illegally entering a foreign country are the ones responsible for what happens.
They are the ones who feel the shame over separation.
Not us.
Not us.
On the other hand, of course, you say, well, it is so terrible in their countries that they're doing this.
This is their last gasp for a better way of life.
But I understand that, but we too have to have the will to survive.
Even if a kid has to cry.
And the enemy always tries to do that.
Pull on the heartstrings.
Good and decent people.
It's pathological altruism.
They play on our benevolence, on our philanthropy, on our charity.
And in a way that's damaging to us.
And again, I want to make the point twice now.
The same people who tell you it's okay to tear a child's limbs off in the womb of its mother while it's alive and can feel pain tell you that we have to become a third world country if a little girl cries.
So, and of course, we see this now in the church.
Heaven forbid we go a show without mentioning what's going on in the apostate anti-Christian Southern Baptist Convention.
When homosexual marriage, listen to this, ladies and gentlemen, when homosexual marriage was declared all by the Supreme Court, Russell Moore said Kim Davis and Roy Moore should resign if they weren't willing to enforce the law.
This is Russell Moore, the Southern Baptist Convention, saying that any judge who did not go by the Supreme Court's abominable ruling should resign if they weren't willing to enforce the law.
Now, Russell Moore demands Trump not enforce the immigration law because he views it to be immoral.
Let that soak in for a moment, if you will, ladies and gentlemen.
But Pat Buchanan wrote a fantastic column on the separation policy that it will end given the universal denunciations and photos of sobbing children.
But Pat also writes, consider, since 2016, some 110,000 children have entered the U.S. illegally and have been released, along with 200,000 Central American families caught sneaking across the border.
While many Americans see illegal intruders, Democrats see future voters.
And with 1,000 kids of illegal immigrants in custody and 250 more arriving every day, we could have 30,000 in custody by the end of the summer.
The existential question, however, thus remains, how does the West, America included, stop the flood of migrants before it alters forever the political and demographic character of our nations and our civilization?
The numbers are in, ladies and gentlemen.
The Hispanic population in this country already estimated nearly 60 million is expected to exceed 100 million by 2050, just 32 years away.
The tide is turning, at least in Europe, Eastern Europe especially, but now increasingly moving even into Germany and Bavaria.
People are taking a very anti-refugee stance, which is good.
A lot of nationalism on the rise in Europe, in Italy, in other places.
Virtually every one of the populist parties of Europe, especially of the right, Buchanan continues, have arisen to contest, to seize power by writing the issue of mass immigration from Africa and the Middle East.
But we are truly dealing with here an ideology of Western suicide.
If Europe does not act, its future is predictable.
The population of Africa right across the Mediterranean is anticipated to climb to 2.5 billion by mid-century.
And by 2100, Africa will be home of half of all the people on the planet.
If but a tiny fraction of the African and Middle Eastern population decides to cross the Mediterranean to occupy the emptying towns and villages of an aging and dying continent, who and what will stop them?
Buchanan concludes Trump may be on the wrong side politically and emotionally on this issue of separating kids from their parents.
But on the mega issue, the third world invasion of the West, he is riding the great wave of the future if the West is to have a future at all.
Build the wall.
Build the wall and let these people paw at it like figures from the walking dead.
I know that may sound harsh, ladies and gentlemen, but if you make me choose between my family and the family of strangers, I am going to choose my family every time.
I think that is the only way a decent man can live, and I think that's the only outlook a decent person can have.
I care for his family first.
Obviously, I don't want to see anyone suffer.
I don't want to see kids crying.
I don't get any joy out of that.
But at the same time, we can't let these manufactured images dictate what's best for our people and our nations.
We just can't do it.
We can help these people from afar.
We can try to help rid them of the corruption.
But at some point, they have to take control of their own countries.
Do they not?
Do they not?
Maybe there's some ways we can help them.
I don't know.
But the one option that's not on the table for me is letting them all come in here so that America one day looks like Mexico looks today.
And you already see that in a lot of neighborhoods and, in fact, a lot of cities and even some states now.
And it's only getting worse.
We have to stop.
Everybody has to be turned away.
No exceptions.
If you cross our border illegally, you're out of here.
You are out of here as quickly as you can possibly be expelled and with prejudice.
Now that's on that.
Come what may.
Okay, well, I spent a little more time on that than I intended to.
I will remind you, ladies and gentlemen, we are in a little bit of trouble.
We have been under attack incessantly.
I think the ADL and the SPS LC have written three articles about us this month, and the media is always on us, and the Southern Baptist Convention has been attacking us.
We have only a week left in our second quarter fundraising drive.
We got off to one of our quickest starts ever.
It was a very good start to the month, but we have had very poor returns over the course of the last week.
We had some today.
Thank you to everyone who donated today.
We've sent out a couple of emails and some blog posts about it.
But the situation here, ladies and gentlemen, is I have fallen down on the job.
I don't like fundraising.
I don't like to spend precious time on the air fundraising.
But the fact of the matter is, we have been under so much attack and so much has been going on that we have not tended to the fundraising drive with the usual vigor that we do.
So saying that, to say this, we have one week remaining and we are behind the mark and we need your help and we need your help quickly and we need your help, but most urgently.
One week to go.
We've got a lot of ground to cover and I should have been spending more time on the radio talking about it, but we have just been busy.
What can I say?
We'll be back with more right after this.
Informing citizens.
Pursuing liberty.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is you got to take the free test available now.

I'm Michael Hill, president of the League of the South.
I and my compatriots are Southern nationalists.
We seek the survival, well-being, and independence of the Southern people, our people.
The League wants a South that enjoys the sweet fruits of Christian liberty and prosperity, but our current situation won't allow it.
We must have our independence from Washington, D.C. and the globalists.
The present system cannot be reformed.
Without independence, we will continue down this path of destruction.
To us, this is not acceptable.
I'm asking you, Southern man and woman, to join us today to free the South.
Call us at 256-757-6789 or see our website at www.leagueofthesouth.com.
God saved the South.
So far, go on your own.
And you can get along.
You can try to be strong, but you'll never be strong.
But you're a rich girl, can it go too far?
Cause you know it don't matter anyway.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, do we have you trained yet or do we not?
When you hear a song like that, you know it's got to be time for Jack Ryan's weekly segment.
And Jack sometimes flexes from one segment to two.
Tonight, you're going to get a double dose of Jack.
He's going to be on with me for the bulk of the remainder of the hour.
We're going to let Jack go halfway through the next segment and I'll do some tidying up before we get to our featured guest of the evening.
But Jack Ryan is, of course, our cultural correspondent here on TPC.
And he comes armed each week with recommendations.
Music, book, and film.
And we'll find out what those are right now.
Jack Ritchkel, why'd you pick it for us this evening?
Well, I just, I like the band Hollow Notes.
I think that they're, what's the genre?
Blue-Eyed Soul.
Very good music.
And I think it's a just, it's a beautiful song, but it also has political connotation.
Because you have to deal in these big, brutal cities, which I've lived two-thirds of my life in with rich girls and wife where other women, I don't want to use the term, but it rhymes with which we have to deal with these type of women.
So that's my song pick tonight.
Okay, fantastic as always, Jack.
And let me tell you, well, let me ask you, Jack, I was going to tell the audience how much, doesn't he deliver answers with such flair?
Great delivery, Jack.
How much time do you spend each week mulling over your recommendations?
Is it just something that comes to you naturally, just on a moment?
Or do you spend a little time digging in and coming up with just the right one for each week, the flavor of the world?
I'm always thinking about history, culture, music, poetry, and I think about that.
And sometimes Personal ones.
My stepdaughter's son, he brilliant young guy, he caught me and said, You're talking yourself.
You're talking to yourself.
I said, Well, listen, at least I'm having a conversation with an intelligent person.
So that was the issue I was thinking.
And yes, so yes, I love music and books, literature, and not so much poetry, but those are things like that.
But I'm always tuned into good music.
And you have to look long and hard to find good music, particularly current now.
But there are great movies.
If you've got the Netflix catalog from the 30s to pop, you can find good movies.
And that's what we want to promote.
We want to promote good, interesting movies, good music, and not fall down into this dark age that we're in.
I hear that.
Well, you just gave us your music recommendation tonight.
Let's get to literature and film, and then we'll get to your theme of the week.
I guess that's the fourth part of Jack's weekly quadrant.
It's book, movie, book, movie, music, and, of course, an overall theme.
But let's do the book and the movie, and then we'll get to the theme.
Sure.
Okay, my book recommendation is VS Nepal's A Turn in the South.
V. Sepal is a very interesting guy.
He's an ethnic Indian person who was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago.
And he writes about places that where white European civilization has withdrawn, have given in.
But there are these Indian people in places like Uganda or Trinidad, Tobago, and he writes about them.
And he's just a very honest and really a nice guy.
And he writes a lot about race relations.
And this book is about his travels in the South.
I think it's written in the late 80s.
And it's very romantic.
It's very pro-Southern.
It's just a beautiful book.
And I highly recommend.
I highly recommend all of VS Nepal's books.
Okay, my movie recommendation is High Noon, starring Gary Cooper.
It's a Western, but it's not a rah-rah, patriotic American Western.
John Wayne hated this film.
One of the head writers of this had a was accused of communist ones.
It depicts this small town where there's this one sheriff that's cleaned up the town.
He's about to get married to Grace Kelly, who's a Quaker.
And then some of the worst criminals that were running the town get let out by some liberals or something in Texas.
And there's four of them.
And he tries to rally the town to unite to fight them, but they're all cowards.
They're all hypocrites.
And they think that Grace Kelly's a Quaker.
She's not a good Christian.
And so he's got to fight these getting throughs alone himself.
It's a great movie.
It's really a fantastic movie.
It's not a pro-American movie, but it's a lot of the problems that we have now where our Christian churches are hypocrites.
They're cowards.
And it's a strong man standing alone against the corruption.
So I highly recommend the movie High Noon.
Well, anything that can help instill a modicum of courage or an inspiration of courage into the hearts of men is something that is sorely needed because it is so sorely lacking in this day and age.
Theme of the week, Jack, what do you got for us?
Well, I got to write down.
My theme was just trying to get away from negativity.
And there are so many negative things, whether it's in politics or culture or the like.
I sort of have a crusader gene in me, and I want to take on all the problems of our country and the world and so on.
You can't really, really do that.
So my theme is to try to just step away from negativity, from negative politics, from negative music, stupid movies or things like that, and try to just live more of a positive life and a simple, positive life.
These corruptions we have are nothing new, but you can't just take on all the world's problems yourself and do that.
And so, just step away if they're bent out of shape that there's hardcore pornography or really bad gangster rap music.
You think there's something could get worse than black gangster rap music, and then they come up with something else new.
So, just don't tear your hair out.
I know you don't have to worry about tearing your hair out because you're bald, but just live a positive stuff and get away from this negativity.
If there's something negative, don't leave your TV on.
I got this great contraption, TV be gone.
It daps off TVs, I'm out people's places.
There's bad TV, and I turn it off.
So, that's kind of my thing, okay?
Jack, good point on trying to absolve ourselves or diminish the amount of negativity that we allow into our lives.
So, of course, you can go extreme in the wrong direction on that as well.
I think what we see happening so often today is people, men as well, maybe especially men, just completely immersing themselves in the culture of bread and circus and totally abandoning their duties.
So, you've got to find a balance.
I think we find a pretty good balance here.
I try to have that balance in my life.
I try to have a well-rounded life of family and faith, and yes, duty to our people, duty to our cause, but I also still don't eat, live, and breathe the work because you would burn out and you would die if your existence centered around the struggle.
You've got to have that balance.
So, you don't want to go too far in one direction to where all you're focused on is who's winning the football game or drinking beer or watching TV.
And you don't want to go too far in the other direction to where you are only living to do battle because, of course, that will cause you to deteriorate mentally as well.
But on the other hand, when you do become more involved in this, obviously, there are going to be a lot of negative influences that you'll be faced with.
So, how do you find just that right balance somewhere in the middle, that sweet spot?
What do you say to that?
It's a very good question.
I just think that A, you should get a job.
Okay, so that's a lot of things.
I've got a lot of relatives, they're really intelligent academia, and they're doing these things.
But one thing I noticed is that these people have never, they've just never got a real job where they worked, where they got up and do honest work.
So, I think that one good balance is to do some type of business or work where you do honest work, where you don't have time to be mouthing off about politics and stuff like that.
And the women, we deal so much with women that are doing stupid politics and negative things like that.
But if they get married or have a children, child, they don't have a lot of free time to do all this other thing.
So, that when the mom has got a child that she takes care of and she does that, it tends to improve things, and that's there.
So, getting a job or some type of task which preoccupies your time-that's something positive, and that's something do honest work, some type of deal.
And then, for the rest of your free time, if you shouldn't have too much free time, then concentrate on doing positive activism and things like that.
But you just can't be a 24/7 activist and trying to take it on, it's not going to work, and people are not going to like you, and they're going to think that you're a slacker because you don't have a job or things like that.
So, that's my advice: job, family, faith, politics.
I think there is the old saying, Well, what is that?
That's the Marine military branch duty on your country.
But we say, God, God, Family Republic.
Cut out any of the important elements of your life at the expense of one of the others.
Try to live a well-rounded lives and well-balanced lives.
And I'm going to give you a story, come back when you see these things.
It's like Jack said, if you had hair to pull out, a story like the one I'm about to share with you would cause you to do just that.
So stay tuned and we'll get to that and we'll let Jack fly.
I got a few more things to say to you before the end of the hour.
Let's hang on and come back to the political sesh pool right after these messages here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
Liberty is not free.
Its costs are innumerable.
Without monetary funding, the valiant efforts of freedom-loving Americans become diminished or outright defeated.
We present a solution, the Give Me Liberty Fund.
The plan is quite simple: invite individual Americans to contribute less than a dollar a day.
These monetary funds are used to promote liberty-minded media, organizations, events, candidates, movements, and speakers.
In the spirit of transparency, all expenditures are published.
Patriotic business owners provide discounted products and services to Give Me Liberty Fund members.
Our greatest strength is in numbers.
Go to GiveMeLibertyFund.com and become part of the solution today.
GiveMeLibertyfund.com.
Participate in the peaceful restoration of the greatest and freest country in the world.
Getting the kids to school, cleaning the house, doing the laundry.
It seems that the work routine as a stay-at-home mom is never ending.
And even though I'm the prime grocery shopper in our family of four, I simply don't have time to scrutinize all the labels on the countless food products I buy.
Oh, sure, I've noticed all the latest certification seals, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free.
It definitely seems to be the latest craze.
But it was only recently that kosher certification seals caught my attention.
You see, my husband had me download an app called Kosh Certified, and it shed light on a century-old certification industry that slipped under the radar screen from the majority of our public.
I also noticed a question mark at the end of the app name.
And that makes great sense as there's far more questions regarding this industry than answers.
In fact, the developers refer to this as the kosher question.
Sure, I'm a busy mom and didn't pay attention to our food culture, but now I have transparency, a convenient grocery list feature, and the ability to eat in favor of my family's best interests.
And you can discover it too at thekosherQuestion.com.

Do what we got, girl.
We got a lot to do.
Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
We're running behind tonight.
That's not unusual for this show.
Our airtime is so valuable and so precious.
We have three hours a week with you every week, and there is a lot that goes wrong in between the time we go off the air on Saturday evenings before we rejoin you a week later, the following Saturday.
There is a lot of news that piles up each week, and we've got to try to pick the best that we want to bring to you.
But I saw this story this morning, as a matter of fact.
I saw it this morning.
I said, well, we've got to at least work this in for a minute or two tonight.
So we're going to let Jack answer, give us his thoughts on this particular story, and then we're going to let Jack fly next week.
But so maybe you've heard about this because it made national news.
And before I even tell you what it is, let this just be a question that you ponder in your hearts as I tell you about the story.
How did such a non-story as this, how did such a non-story as that which I'm about to share with you, become a national news item?
That's the question I want you to think about as I explain to you what's going on.
How did this non-story become national news?
So here's what's happened.
There is a mixed race family, and I don't mean that it is a family where a white parent and a black parent had children and mixed race like that.
If I was reading the story correctly, it is a blended family where both of the parents already had kids in advance of them getting married.
And so they brought black kids and white kids into the marriage from the get-go.
So it's a mixed bag there.
And that's what this is the racial makeup of this particular family.
So they were at the grocery store and they saw a gallon of bluebell ice cream.
And on one side of the gallon was vanilla ice cream.
And on the other side of the gallon was chocolate ice cream.
And they have complained to Bluebell and said that this was logically traumatizing to their children, that it made their children think of the Mason-Dixon line.
Ladies and gentlemen, you can't make this up.
I kid you not.
Surely people like this have to be on some levels embarrassed by their fragility and their constant complaining.
Literally everything is racist.
And literally everything is offensive in the current year, including ice cream.
But I think people like this have to purposefully wake up with their mission each day to find something that offends them.
And their day isn't complete unless they find something to complain about.
And so they have to be thinking, well, I didn't get called the N-word today.
That doesn't really happen anymore.
So what can I be this ice cream?
Now, how long has Neapolitan ice cream been out, ladies and gentlemen?
Where you have the vanilla and the chocolate and the strawberry?
It's been out forever, right?
Chocolate and vanilla are the two most popular flavors of ice cream in the world.
And so, yes, they'll both both flavors in an individual.
And so on one side, you've got the vanilla, and on the other side, you've got the chocolate.
But in all my life, and I'm a Confederate, never has a gallon of vanilla and chocolate ice cream made me think of the Mason-Dixon line.
And certainly never did it traumatize me.
But this is the story.
And that is national news today in America, Jack.
So, Jack, make sense of that for us.
I think basically the good offense is a good defense.
So I would go on the offensive on stupid stuff like that.
So, yeah.
You're a little breaking up.
I think I might have lost it.
No, I hear you.
I hear you.
I'm relying on my producer.
We do have.
I would say people focus about some of the other issues in the world that people have to deal with, like about ISIS having open daylight slave auctions.
Okay, so that seems a little bit more.
Or, you know, people are upset about some Christian bakery Indiana didn't want to bake a homosexual marriage cage or something like that.
You want to focus, well, okay, maybe that's something irritable, but how about Islam is throwing gay people off of roofs in the Middle East and killing people.
Okay, so isn't that like a slightly a little bit better on that?
So my use is never, is to never be on defense and go on offense.
So these idiots that are mouthing off about trivial stupid stuff just use humor, use sarcasm, and just go after that.
And you have to talk about ice cream.
At least we have people aren't starving.
They've got food, money to buy ice cream.
Or something there's countries where they don't even have ice cream.
They only have a refrigeration or things like that.
Well, and Jack, again, I reposed the question.
Now that you've been privy to the facts, this is on CBS.
CBS News was covering this.
And I'm sure Blue Bell will issue a full and complete apology.
And I'm sure they'll change chocolate and vanilla in the same container together because we don't want people thinking about Mason Dixon.
And what's a Mason Dixon lot have to do with that anyway?
That doesn't even make sense.
But anyway, so that's national news.
This is the gear.
Hey, Jack, I love you.
And we'll talk to you next week.
Okay, keep it safe.
Give my best to all the great folks in the South.
Maybe you can give me some help.
I'm looking to find a bride.
And it's not going to be some Chicago law law graduate like Hinder Rodham Clinton.
So I'm looking to find a Southern bride.
Maybe I can get some tips from you.
So, yeah, keep it safe.
God bless the South.
Let's keep working.
Ladies, ladies, did you hear that?
An eligible bachelor who's part of the TPC family.
You better get him while the getting is good.
Sam.
Sam's already trying to get it worked out here for you, Jack.
Well, anyway, hey, we've got an eligible bachelor on the TPC crew.
They don't come around often.
So if you want to marry TPC family, we can help make that happen.org.
We'll take applications.
Don't forget TPC.
Don't forget TPC.
I'll get very quickly before the end of the hour.
Last week, we talked about it for this week.
I was very honored to have received a standing ovation after my talk at the Nationalist Solutions Conference.
Had a great time there near Nashville a week ago today.
And the incredible reception was such a welcomed oasis after a month of relentless attack by the media, the Southern Bethesda's Convention, the SLC.
In a week's time, one week from tonight, I'll be down in Alabama speaking to the League of the South annual convention.
And Michael Hill is in the third hour tonight.
So stay tuned for that.
But the fact of the matter is, ladies and gentlemen, I have been so immersed with battles and travels of recent weeks that I have not, I mentioned this a moment ago, I have not done a good job of staying on top of TPC's second quarter fundraising drive, which ends in a week.
It ends on June 30th.
Folks, straight to the point and without any mincing of words, we need your help.
If our quarterly appeal ended today, we would be facing a financial schwa and a pretty scary one.
So if our work on the radio informs you and inspires you, please remember that we cannot make without your support.
So you can donate online.
You know how to do that.
If you're a regular contributor, please remember us.
If you're a listener who has been a longtime fan of the show, but you've never contributed before, remember us.
I have fought my entire adult life, just had a birthday yesterday because I am entirely sure that we're on the right side of reality.
We are on the right side of reality.
People talk about being on the right side of history.
That's fine.
We're on the right side of reality.
That's even better.
And I want to continue to fight with an increased vigor and determination.
And I need you to help me do that.
So, of course, as you know, $100 or more this month before June 30th, you're going to get an autographed copy, an autographed copy of Dr. Michael Hill's book, Celtic Warfare.
And wouldn't you know it, he's going to be on next hour to talk about the book.
So you're going to get a little more information about that.
So don't forget TP.
And of course, yes, it was my birthday yesterday.
We've been talking about it tonight.
I considered it an honor to be able to share another birthday with you, my beloved listening audience.
38 years old yesterday.
And everyone knows we say it all the time.
We say it tonight.
We say it every week.
This is our family.
You are part of our family.
So it's natural that we share special occasions together, holidays, anniversaries, birthdays.
It always gives us time to pause and reflect on what we've accomplished while remembering those who are important to us.
And birthdays also remind us of how quickly the hands of time.
14 years on the radio now.
How did that happen?
It went by in the blink of an eye.
I can tell you that.
14 years have passed since the stars came into alignment, and it has been an unforgettable ride so far.
And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know this.
And I tell you this every year.
Well, I'll tell you a lot.
But I want you to know it on the day after my birthday.
I appreciate you, ladies and gentlemen, in this audience for taking part in the journey with me.
I've shared my life with you.
You'll love it anyway.
And we've accomplished so much together.
And I want to continue to do that.
And I just want you to know that on my birthday, and every day, I am thankful to have the love and support of so many wonderful people.
It is the greatest gift that anyone could have.
Love and support from the people that you love and care for.
So thank you again, ladies and gentlemen, for always being with me.
And we posted that particular, I wrote that, and we posted it to the website this week.
I had a picture.
Two pictures accompanied that little article.
One was from with Pat Buchanan in 2000, the dawn of my political career 18 years ago with Pat Buchanan.
There's a picture of me and Pat together.
And also, it was a then and now picture, I guess you could say, with Pat in 2000.
And then just last week with Virginia Abernethy and Kevin McDonald at the conference near Nashville.
And there's a picture of Virginia, myself, and Kevin.
And they look good.
I don't know what happened to me.
But anyway, our second quarter fundraising drive wraps up on June 30th.
Precious few gifts could I receive that would be more meaningful on my birthday weekend than for you to make a contribution that will allow us to remain on.
That's what I want to do.
All I want is to be able to continue to fight for you as we go forward.
So ladies and gentlemen, you can mail it in.
You can go on the website.
But we normally spend time reading off all the cities and the names from people who have donated.
We haven't had time to do that yet this month.
We're three weeks into the month.
We haven't done it yet.
We'll be back.
Stay tuned.
Don't go away.
There's more to come right here on the Liberty News Radio Network.
