You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
I don't want the world to know.
I don't want my heart to show.
Two faces have fire.
You can call them liars.
You can call them two-faced.
You can call them hypocrites, practitioners of double standards in the most egregious way imaginable.
Or you can call them the media.
And that's what we're going to be talking about this first hour.
Welcome to the Political Cesspool.
James Edwards, Keith Alexander, our intrepid correspondent, Sean Bergen.
And Sean is here to do two things.
Number one, break down the who, what, where, when, and why of the Nashville church shooting that took place literally less than 12 hours after our last live broadcast last Sunday in Antioch, Tennessee, near Nashville.
We're going to be talking about the facts of that situation and the media's lackluster, to put it mildly, coverage of it.
So, Sean, there's the song again.
Sean, take it away.
Thanks for having me, James.
Yeah, it was about a week ago that 25-year-old Emmanuel Sampson walked into the Beret Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, just southeast of Nashville, gunned down a woman in the parking lot while he was wearing an Eoprene ski mask, and then waltzed into the church and shot another seven people, injuring seven in total, killing one, injuring seven.
And in the course of that rampage, he got into a scuffle with one of the ushers.
And as he pistol-whipped the usher, he shot himself in the chest.
So he, you know, self-inflicted gun wound.
The usher then went out to his car, retrieved his own legal weapon, and held Mr. Sampson for police to arrive and probably prevented other people from getting shot in the process.
So, as you mentioned, there was next to no media coverage on this at all.
And, you know, leaving those of us who actually pay attention to this stuff to speculate as to why.
Was there a racial component to this?
Well, I think there was.
This was not unlike the church shooting that we saw with Dylan Roof, who was a white kid who walked into an all-black church and killed nine people.
Maybe if more people had been killed, I suppose it would have garnered more media attention.
But I don't think that's really a play here.
I think that there's a real racial component to what happened.
I think the fact that you had an armed usher who was able to prevent further death is also a big turnoff to a corrupt liberal news media.
And lastly, there's no anti-Donald Trump tie-in for this story, which is really their running obsession.
Anything that they can report on to bash President Trump is what's going to lead off their broadcast.
Now, look, as somebody who spent 10 years in those, you know, the cesspools of the liberal news business, I can tell you that I've been around those tables when the decisions are made on what to cover, how to cover it, why to cover it.
And this story of a black man shooting up white people in a church just does not interest liberals in the news media.
And liberals in the news media put their newscasts on for themselves and each other.
They don't think about anybody outside of their little bubble.
It's true.
I mean, I can't tell you how many times I've been in this meetings where people say, oh, I really like this and I really like this.
And you're listening to some self-absorbed, narcissistic, 23-year-old kid.
who thinks that we're putting the broadcast on for him and his friends.
And I would always interject that, well, you know, maybe we have viewers out there who might be interested in another aspect of this story or maybe another story altogether.
And, you know, those things are, you know, those kinds of comments are always met with scorn and derision and, you know, dead silence and passive aggressive behavior.
And so, you know, you just, you don't, you don't intervene anymore.
You just let them do what they do.
But I think that's what's really in play here.
Most people have no idea who Emmanuel Sampson is.
But if you mentioned Dylan Roof, I'd say probably half the country would recognize that name and remember him as the guy who, you know, shot up for black church and then subsequently watched as liberal America banned the Confederate flag from every possible place you could ban.
I mean, you couldn't sell them in Walmart.
You couldn't sell them in Amazon.
And anybody who was seen within 10 feet of a Confederate flag was now branded as a racist.
So that's where we're at with this story right now.
Now, it did generate a flurry of media coverage just in the last 12 to 18 hours when it was discovered that this gunman actually had a note in his car that made reference to Dylan Roof and that this shooting may actually be in retribution or a revenge attack.
Now, all of a sudden, the news media is interested.
And here's what they're doing.
Basically, what they're doing is they're saying they're letting Emmanuel Sampson, the gunman, off the hook completely and basically saying, well, this guy was obviously inspired by Dylan Roof.
See, it's not Emmanuel Sampson's fault that he went into the church and shot it up.
It's actually Dylan Roof's fault.
Ah, I see, yes.
Now.
In other words, this is basically an opportunity to pick the scab off of Dylan Roof's Charleston church shooting then.
Oh, yeah.
Well, you know, it's a way for them to revisit that.
Now, all of a sudden, they're interested.
And now, all of a sudden, there is a flurry of news coverage.
I mean, I was looking online, and we had this shooting a week ago, and then just about nothing for six straight days.
I mean, it was covered like the corruption trial of Democrat Senator Bob Menendez.
Not at all.
I mean, in spite of the fact that there is an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to Menendez' guilt, most people in this country have no idea that that man is actually on trial, that we have a Democrat senator on trial for corruption for the first time in 46 years.
And this story generated no media coverage, Emmanuel Sampson, over the last six days until that note was discovered.
And now everybody's weighing in.
I mean, the New York Times, the Washington Post, you know, the Associated Press.
I mean, everybody now is in a rush now to cover this previously non-existent story.
The level of hypocrisy, of course, is just, it's so beyond the pale now that it's just shameless and just so in your face that too, Sean, it isn't like Charleston.
It is the exact negative image of Charleston.
In fact, the shooter's Facebook page made mention.
And of course, as you mentioned, the New York Times and others have picked up on this.
This was in some shape or form retribution for Charleston.
But much more than that, he had quite a bit of black supremacist leaning post to his Facebook page.
He had, incredibly, a post that said, you are more likely to be killed by a white man than a Muslim terrorist.
So said the man who came from a 97% majority Muslim country, the Sudan, before he killed a white man.
But there were a lot of black identity politics, political statements on his Facebook page.
But of course, And as you mentioned, the outright fact that he said this was an answer to Charleston, but we won't talk about that.
That's going to get swept under the rug.
You know, another interesting part about this is that he's basically the equivalent of a DACA dreamer.
He came to America at four years old from Sudan, and now he's here legally, even though he's not a citizen because of the DACA.
We'll come back with Sean about that.
We got Sean for one more segment tonight.
We'll kick up with that with the great Sean Bergen right after this.
Stay tuned.

Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.
Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues.
Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face.
And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.
The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution.
My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com and order my book and lectures to begin the restoration of this great nation.
It's time to jump back into the political cesspool to be part of the show and have your voice heard around the world.
Call us at 1-866-986-6397.
You know, I say it a lot, ladies and gentlemen.
I'll say it again.
We're very fortunate to have people like Jim Lancia, a former police officer who can come at issues from the perspective of a law enforcement official.
And of course, Sean Bergen, who spent a career in the establishment news industry before he'd had his fill of that.
And when we have a story like this, where the players are the same, except for a reversal of the racial dynamic, but the coverage is polar opposite, then that's interesting.
And I want to bring Sean on to talk about that because this is his bailiwick.
So, Sean, Keith mentioned before the break the fact that this guy would have been a poster war for DACA.
He came over at five years of age.
I want you to keep that in your mind and comment on that after I ask you this.
But coming from the perspective of a television news reporter, which you were for many, many years in the biggest market in the world, New York City, what is it like?
I mean, how does everyone know to go along with the program?
So obviously, if you could have had your way, you would have talked about this objectively as we're talking about it now.
But of course, that would have never flown on television.
Does everybody get a memo saying there will be no conservative thought at all expressed in any of our broadcasts?
How do they whip everybody in line?
Does everybody just go into this industry, into this field, being a liberal wacko, a communist?
How does that work?
Take us behind the scenes because I think this story and the dynamics here really beg an answer to that question.
Okay, well, let's start with the decision makers and the people who are in charge.
Basically, they're a bunch of gray-haired hippies who have one foot stuck in the summer of love, and they think their job as a news person is to right every wrong of the last 200 years.
So, I mean, those are the people who are running the places.
They're the decision makers.
And the people who are working in TV news are seeing stations close, newspapers shutting their doors, people being fired en masse.
And so everybody who goes into a newsroom goes to work thinking, this is probably my last day of work.
And the only way that they're going to hang on to their job is to not piss off their boss.
And they're going to try and give their boss exactly what the boss is looking for.
So when you go into that morning meeting and you start talking about a story, they've already mapped out for you what the story is.
Like you could get out to the story and say, well, you know, things have changed and it's not quite what we thought it was in the morning meeting.
And, you know, if it's not fulfilling that liberal narrative that, you know, basically white America today are just nothing but a bunch of racists.
And it's our job in the news business to cherry-pick facts, to shoehorn that into a narrative that we've constructed for ourselves in our minds.
So you've got people who are terrified about losing their jobs.
They're already brainwashed, indoctrinated, inculcated by these, you know, these same gray-haired hippies who are running college campuses.
So when they get to a newsroom, their sense is that liberalism is the objective truth and that any departure from liberalism is biased news.
This is how they think.
So as a conservative working in a newsroom like that, I feel like, you know, I used to feel like R.P. McMurphy in one flew over the cuckoo's nest.
Like, holy cow, I'm the only sane person in this building.
What the heck is going on?
Sean, this is Keith Alexander.
How many people are just died in the wool, born-again liberals in those decision-making positions?
And how many are people that are either open-minded or conservative like you?
Just give us a percentage.
My experience, I worked in a bunch of different newsrooms.
I mean, I worked for the News 12 organization up here in New York, but I worked for News 12 Long Island.
I work for News 12 New Jersey, and I work for News 12 Westchester.
And I also worked for another news station before I went for the News 12s.
And I've worked in a couple of joint efforts with TV and newspapers, okay?
I'd say 98% of the decision-makers and the producers and people who are in a decision-making position where it concerns editorial content.
I'd say 98% of them are liberal.
The only conservatives that I met in the news business were usually cameramen.
And these guys are the working-class guys of the TV news business.
You would not have, they know what it is to go out there every day and work their asses off.
And they're the only guys you're going to find in a newsroom who will admit to being conservative.
You have to understand, conservatives in a newsroom exist like gay men in the deep south of the 1950s.
I mean, you just don't open your mouth.
I mean, it's a lot like Hollywood.
You know, you can't be a conservative in Hollywood and expect that you're going to get a job.
If you open up your mouth, you're going to lose a job, and it's likely you'll never work again.
And that's how it is in the news business.
It's also that way.
Well, it's apparently the same way as in the NFL, Sean, where, you know, the owners, for example, dare not contradict the players, and the players are overwhelmingly, you know, advocates of black power, for example.
Well, 75, well, 70% of the NFL players are black, and a lot of these guys seem to get arrested on such a regular basis that it's understandable why they would have such an anti-cop culture in the NFL.
And yes, the bosses, the owners are afraid that, you know, if they do anything to reprimand their star players, that they're going to lose games.
And if they lose games, then they're going to lose fans.
What doesn't figure into their calculus is that most people who watch football are patriotic Americans and that they're in a major panic right now.
So, yeah, it's not unlike that.
But, I mean, that's the culture in liberal news is that you have people who come in who are liberals.
Liberals, you're going to find them drawn to different lines of work in ways that you won't find conservatives.
You'll find liberals in the news business.
You'll find them in academia.
You'll find them in social work.
Conservatives tend to gravitate to law enforcement, first responders, military guys, construction guys, that kind of thing.
Wall Street.
That's right.
So the different cultures, I think, attract people who are already of that mind.
I think that's a great answer.
Go ahead.
No, I was just going to say, I think that's a great answer.
And I think that you covered the whole why is there only, why does the media speak with a single voice fairly well, and certainly from a first-hand perspective.
But we only have a couple of minutes left with you, Sean, if even that.
And also, conservatives don't put their money where their mouth is liberals do.
But Keith and I are going to cover some other elements of this story.
I wanted you predominantly to cover the media angle on it, which you've done expertly.
But I would ask you this with only seconds remaining, the DACA angle very quickly.
Samson was brought over as a five-year-old.
So his earliest memories of life would have had to been from this country, not from the Sudan.
He was inevitably given every leg up through affirmative action and set-asides and quotas and anything he could have wanted.
It would have been there for the taking as a black man.
But yet, this is still the final product that we receive.
Your thoughts on that with only seconds to go.
Well, look, the fact what everybody seems to be overlooking here is that this guy was crazy.
I mean, he was mentally ill.
He had a history of domestic violence.
He was suicidal at one point, sending his father a text message saying, I'm about to blow my effing brains out.
I mean, you know, you're not dealing with a guy who was well here.
And yes, as you said, coming here as a five-year-old, as an African African in this country, not an African-American, an African-African, you know, there's no shortage of programs and, you know, people who are willing to help advance this guy.
But, you know, he was held back, I think, just by, you know, just flat-out mental illness.
And that's part of this story that I don't know, nobody's really gotten into.
But, you know, as far as the DACA thing goes, still had a college degree, though.
Yeah, and not only that, he had a college degree in what, sociology or psychology.
Can you believe it?
Yeah, I can believe it.
Listen, if you ever found yourself in a room full of psychiatrists, you would think you were in a mental institution.
And there's some of the craziest people's life major in psychology and psychiatry because they're trying to figure themselves out, you know.
But yeah, listen, a lot of these DACA dreamers turn out to be real bad people.
And every day we see reports of these guys who are child rapists, murderers, this, that, and the other.
And, you know, the American left would love to just, you know, have us believe that they're all hardworking busboys, bartenders, landscapers, and parking valets.
The fact of the matter is a lot of them aren't, you know.
Occasionally they go in and shoot up at church, I guess.
But what a great answer.
And you're 100% right.
Hey, Sean, you're the best, and we appreciate your time, back-to-back weeks, especially.
And, well, who knows what America and the current year is going to bring us between now and next Saturday?
We may be talking to you again in a few days, brother.
Until then, take care.
God bless.
And Sean Bergen, everybody, the one and only.
We'll be back with more right after this.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
With Liberty News this hour, I'm Dennis Daly.
The budget crunching and the words of the pundits coming from both sides of the aisle in the wake of the president and Republican leadership in the House and Senate unveiling the new tax proposal.
Many details need to be worked out.
The thrust of the plan to bring about campaign promises that Mr. Trump made.
These include dramatically lowering the corporate tax rate, lowering personal income taxes for millions, and simplifying thousands of complicated pages of the tax code.
The negative response of many NFL fans, now former fans, to the national anthem protest, is growing.
Social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are being flooded with photos and videos of fans burning season tickets or NFL gear.
One YouTube video of a Marine Corps veteran shows him burning his Baltimore Ravens tickets.
It's gone viral.
In Colorado, a veteran who's now a former Denver Broncos fan gathered up over 50 years of Bronco memorabilia he had collected and donated it to a charity.
He says he was just disgusted with what all those players, those millionaires, are doing.

He must be good.
Yeah, my mom taught him.

I'm Michael Hill, president of the League of the South.
I and my compatriots are Southern nationalists.
We seek the survival, well-being, and independence of the Southern people, our people.
The League wants a South that enjoys the sweet fruits of Christian liberty and prosperity, but our current situation won't allow it.
We must have our independence from Washington, D.C. and the globalists.
The present system cannot be reformed.
Without independence, we will continue down this path of destruction.
To us, this is not acceptable.
I'm asking you, Southern man and woman, to join us today to free the South.

Welcome back.
Get on the show.
Call us on James's Dine at 1-866-986-6397.
Okay, folks, we wanted to bring Sean Bergen in at the top of the show in the leadoff position tonight to talk about the two different ways in which the Charleston church shooting and the Nashville church shooting were covered by the establishment press.
Now that that's out of the way, let me give you a preview of what's coming for the rest of the night.
So Keith and I have a few more things to say about that topic here this hour.
Then also before the end of this hour, we're going to talk a little bit about Judge Roy Moore and his ascension to United States Senator Roy Moore.
That's coming up.
And maybe a little more about the NFL too.
In the second hour tonight, Professor Andrew Fraser, now we have been hawking his book, An Alt-Right Guide to Christian Theology, all month as part of our fundraising drive.
And tonight at long last, you're going to hear from the author himself, we think.
Now, this is a live interview with Andrew Fraser in Australia.
So while we are broadcasting live tonight, Saturday night in Memphis, Tennessee, it's Wednesday afternoon in Australia.
So we're going to see how that works.
So Andrew Fraser, we think will be live from Australia in the second hour to talk about his book.
And we're ready for that.
Then in the third hour, we're going to get back on the Nashville church shooting from a church perspective.
The Southern Baptist Convention did not mention a word about the Nashville church shooting, a shooting that happened in the very city in which they are headquartered.
But they did find the time to denounce Jared Taylor by name this week.
We're going to tell you all about that.
And also to ask Donald Trump to once again double down on a denunciation of the alt-right while saying nothing about Antifa or Black Lives Matter.
Absolutely right.
So we're going to get into all of that in the third hour.
So basically, the Nashville church shooting is going to be covered during the first and third hour.
But in the second hour, we're going to depart from that just for a moment to talk to Andrew Fraser about his excellent book, which is being offered to people who donate $100 or more.
And if you haven't done that yet tonight, tonight is the last night.
So get it in before midnight, $100 or more, thepoliticalspool.org.
You can donate online, and you can get that book, and you'll want that book.
Anyway, back to that's what's coming up the rest of the show.
A couple of odds and ends, Keith, my hot takes and observations from the Nashville church shooting, and you can take it any way you want to go.
So we know that a black man was responsible for this mass shooting at a historically white church.
Now, it's been called a multiracial congregation by the establishment press.
It is predominantly white.
It used to be all white.
Now there are some people of other races in there.
That's fine, but it's a majority white church.
Don't make any mistake about it.
And this guy's a dreamer.
If Dylan Roof represents all southerners, all southern war heroes, then this guy represents every dreamer.
That's the way I see it.
Now, what happened in Nashville is, of course, the negative image of Charleston.
We talked about that earlier.
Of course, the media didn't present it as such.
CNN's website, there was a little bit of a flurry of coverage on this hours after it happened, but once the race of the perpetrator and the victims became known, it was scrubbed.
CNN had nothing about this on their website.
It's a central Marxist template of the left to the nth degree.
That's what they do.
They are going to focus on, they're going to criticize, use critical theory on anything that can be used to demean white people.
On the other hand, anything that would cast a non-white, and particularly a black person, in a bad light is going to be ignored.
That's what they do.
That's what they do so well.
And that's what they've been doing for the past 50 years in America.
Now, you know, one interesting aspect of this, James, is that Dylan Roof and Emmanuel Sampson both use the exact same number of bullets.
Nine bullets.
Had eight people shot all together, and one person shot twice by Emmanuel Sampson.
So that's nine bullets, one person dead.
So one person went to the firing range and one person hadn't.
Yeah, and on the other hand, Dylan Roof, nine shots, nine dead people.
Now, you know, this is basically scary how similar this is to the Charleston church shooting.
And it is also scary how different the media's treatment of these two murderous events are.
And exactly, Keith.
And this guy had plenty of black supremacist posts on his website.
Once again, the great Brad Griffin at Occidental Descent, he is the diary of the alt-right.
I mean, anything that happens, he's got all of the facts and figures.
He digs deep while sluggards sleep, as they say.
And he gets all of the detail on this.
Now, this fellow was also a big advocate and supporter of the new Black Panther Party.
That came out on his Facebook.
And there's a picture, the header on his Facebook page is him kneeling as if he were an NFL player.
He also said, as we mentioned in the last segment, he posted a quote: you're more likely to be killed by a white man than a Muslim terrorist.
He's obviously never heard of per capita.
Yeah, and he's never heard either of the FBI crime statistics that show that 53-plus percent of all murders in America are black on black.
Another 10% are black on white.
White people killing black people is less than 2%.
And everyone else follows in that.
But basically, black people who are 13% of the population account for well over 60% of the murders in America.
Stefan Molyneux came out very quickly with a very fact-based commentary on this situation, and we reposted it to the political cesspool.org earlier this week.
You should check it out.
Very sober, very dispassionate, in true Molyneux style, and he does a great job with what he does.
But he mentioned that, and this is something that we certainly don't want, something that we certainly don't hope for, something that we pray won't happen, but the situation, the parallels between this and Charleston are so overlapping, yet the media's treatment is so polar opposite that when people see the media treatment or lack thereof,
this will further enrage the dispossessed majority to perhaps partake in more violence.
And again, that's something we certainly don't advise or encourage, but this is something when you feel helpless and hopeless, and the people, obviously our audience knows that the establishment press isn't your voice.
Alternative media, the political cesspool is your voice.
But when you see this sort of behavior, I mean, it's going to send people into a frenzy.
Well, that's basically what happened to Dylan Roof.
He said that he was so enraged when he found what the true face of crime or color of crime was, as opposed to what he had been led to believe in the news media, that this was the realization that basically caused him to jump the tracks, to go over the edge.
Now, just think about, you know, denial is not just a river in Africa, folks.
You know, denial is what the left and the news media and all of the institutions that basically define our culture, academia, the entertainment industry, Hollywood, news media.
All of these groups are overwhelmingly liberal, and all of them refuse to draw any parallel whatsoever between the Antioch Burnett Chapel shooting that just happened last week and the Charleston church shooting.
In fact, the only reason they are now beginning to talk about the Antioch shooting is because it gives them another opportunity to dredge up the corpse of the Charleston church shooting and play that for another week, month, or half a year.
As Sean Burger brought up, yes.
It was actually Dylan Ruth's fault that this man did this.
But, you know, interestingly, as Brad Griffin wrote at OccidentalDescent.com, had the races been reversed in Charleston, it would have only been a local story.
And had the races been reversed in Nashville, it would have been, it would have received the same attention that Charleston did by the lying press.
And that's something that I think is our big takeaway.
Well, let me say this.
Let's draw a parallel to Charlottesville.
You have one death in Charlottesville, and it is as big as, well, not quite as big, but almost as big as Dylan Roof and Charleston.
You have one death in Nashville or in Antioch, Tennessee, which is a suburb of Nashville, and that's their excuse for not covering it more.
When you talk with liberals about this, they say, well, there's only one person killed.
Well, if one person killed, if that body count means it's inconsequential, why do you keep talking about Charlottesville and James Field?
Let's say a white man went into a black church in Nashville.
Let's just say everything that happened in Antioch last week, the races were reversed, white shooter, black victims, one dead, a few others injured.
What's the media look like right now?
Yeah, you know, the thing is, Don't trust your lying eyes.
Don't trust your lying ears.
You know what the left is going to do.
James Fields, if there was ever a case of someone, one, he was mentally ill, he was schizophrenic, apparently.
Two, he was scared to death and running for his life in a situation that had basically was the responsibility of the governmental authorities in Charlottesville.
And, two, he was having the windows beaten out of his car and thought he was going to be dragged out and killed, and he tries to back up while staying on the road.
He is the most heinous guy in the world, but, again, we need to, you know.
But then on the other hand, yeah, Mr. Sampson is like Dr. Pepper, so misunderstood.
Yeah, it's just another murder, sad, but it happens and it's just a statistic.
All right, folks, we'll be back.
Okay, girls, about finished with your lesson on money.
Daddy, what is a buy-sell spread for gold coins?
Well, when you sell a gold coin to a coin shop that's worth, say, $1,200, you don't actually get $1,200.
But don't worry, we're members of UPMA now, so we don't have to worry about that.
Daddy, why somebody seals our gold?
We don't have any gold at the house.
It's stored safely in the UPMA vault, securely and insured.
But the SP 500 outperformed gold.
Daddy, gold is a bad investment.
Some people do think of it that way, but actually, gold is money.
And as members of the United Precious Metals Association, we can use our gold at any store, just like a credit card.
Or I can ask them to drop it right into Mommy and Daddy's bank account because we're a UPMA member family.

We fought.
We learned.
We struggled.
We won.
Despite Obama's best efforts, the newspaper of the human resistance survives.
We have lived only to face a new nightmare, the war against the machines.
Read about our struggle in The Sovereign, newspaper of the resistance.
The Sovereign is a 24-page monthly tabloid newspaper about the war between man and machines.
We've tried reason.
We've tried legislation.
We've tried every peaceful means imaginable.
And all it's gotten us is shut out.
So now we fight the machines.

This is mercy.
It was never our destiny to stop the age of Obama.
It was merely to survive it.
Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
All right, folks, we gave you the lineup.
Second hour, we're going to have Professor Andrew Fraser on.
Third hour, back to the National Church shooting.
Not from a media's perspective, as we've covered at this hour, but from the perspective of the church.
But first, let's talk about a little bit of good news.
So here's what we're going to do, Keith.
I'm going to read an article that was written about Roy Moore this week.
Let me read the whole thing.
I'll give you the signal.
You take over.
But I want to read it in its entirety because it paints the full picture, and then I'm going to let you offer the commentary.
Once again from occidentaldescent.com, we're thrilled by the election of Judge Roy Moore.
We've supported Moore.
Roy Moore is a godly man and the much-needed advocate and the much-needed antidote to the LGBTQ agenda, which has been shoved down our throats 24-7 by corporate America.
No pun intended.
We're going to have a U.S. senator who openly brandishes firearms at his rallies, who despises the SBLC who had him removed from the Alabama Supreme Court, who believes Christianity should inform our government, who has the backbone to defy federal judges, who bans cigarettes, drinking, and profanity at his events, and who believes homosexuality should be illegal.
Aside from openly endorsing Alabama's secession, it doesn't get any more base than that in American politics.
Roy Moore is going to rise far.
He is Ted Cruz without being a slimy, calculating, self-interested, insecure foreigner.
He is Donald Trump without being a vain, unprincipled, moral degenerate, and a New York con artist.
Roy Moore brings a strong dose of Christian social conservatism to Trump's economic nationalism.
He is much closer to our ideal alt-South candidate, Southern, Christian, populist, and nationalist, and willing to defy the federal government.
The rise of Roy Moore is the latest evidence that the forces unleashed by Donald Trump, particularly in the South, are now moving beyond their standard-bearer.
Trump was only the figurehead of a revolution in a passing phase of what is going on in the base of the Republican Party.
The white vote in the South, which has been splintered in the late 20th century, has reconsolidated like it was in the Jim Crow era.
In other words, the Republican Party now has a corporate elite which exists in constant tension with the white working class base over the last 20 years, which has come to resemble the old Democratic Party.
As the Luther Stranges and the Bob Corkers of the Chamber of Commerce-controlled New South era Republican Party melt away in defeat and retirement, we're going to see a gradual reemergence of the colorful Southern populist.
Roy Moore's political arrival is the first of many to come.
In the U.S. Senate, I expect Moore to become the social conservative version of Rand Paul, an enemy of the LBGTQ lobby, which has hitherto encountered little opposition.
Keith, the biggest thing of Roy Moore, he is a man who has paid the price.
He was the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.
He defied the federal government.
He would not relax his position, his Christian, heartfelt, sincere position on so-called sodomite marriage.
And he paid the price, but now the Lord has rewarded him.
He is now a United States Senator.
And when he came out on his victory party earlier this week, he came out and sang, how great thou art.
And he said he never prayed for his victory.
He left it in the hands of Jesus Christ.
I am glad Roy Moore is a United States Senator.
Well, he's not a United States Senator yet, but it's a foregone conclusion that anybody who's the Republican in the Alabama Senate competition is going to win.
Well, what he is, is a dyed-in-the-wool, authentic Southern fundamentalist.
He basically should have Steve Gaines' position as the moderator of the Southern Baptist Convention.
He is the real deal for Southern fundamentalists.
And furthermore, he is the real deal when it comes to following through on Trump's platform and his announced goals.
Now, that doesn't mean that he is going to be, you know, in sympathetic hole with Donald Trump in everything he does because Donald Trump has been waffling.
I can't see Roy Moore waffling on any of the positions that he takes.
Quite frankly, Trump may not be smart enough to realize this, but Roy Moore is a godsend.
He will be a much better ally for the Trump agenda than Luther Strange could ever be.
Luther Strange is in the hip pocket or would have been in the hip pocket of Mitch McConnell.
And the fact that Donald Trump would support Luther Strange over Roy Moore just shows you that Donald Trump lacks the fundamental skill that a successful politician needs, which is the ability to distinguish his friends from his enemies.
He was out there stumping for a guy that had he been elected.
Yeah, he would have been, yeah, he would have been working against, he would have been another no vote on everything that Trump wants a yes vote on.
Well, let me tell you this, a little more about Roy Moore.
He was outspent 10 to 1, as in 10 million to one by the Republican establishment.
He won in a breathtaking victory.
But a couple of more positions about Roy Moore.
He has endorsed using the United States military to stop immigration.
As Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, he was, of course, suspended for instructing judges in Alabama to defy federal court orders for mandating homosexual marriage.
Now, here's the thing.
You could say, well, anybody can run on a platform.
How do we know he's going to be unlike all of the others and actually stick to it?
I'll tell you how you know.
He lost his seat on the Alabama Supreme Court.
He was the chief justice.
He lost that seat long before he knew being a senator was ever an option.
Had Jeff Sessions not been appointed to be the attorney general, that seat wouldn't have opened up.
Roy Moore stood and died on his principles and lost his position and his power, but now he's got it again in its heaven-like manna.
Not only that, he is a true old-fashioned southerner down to this fact.
He rode a horse to the polling place to vote for himself.
How do you like that, folks?
They don't get more authentic than that.
I unmiced myself.
And we put a picture of that up.
Yeah, he's with a cowboy hat and all.
Rode in on a horse and voted for himself.
He's going to ride in on a horse, I hope, into the Capitol building at Washington, D.C. and tell them that there's a new sheriff in town, and he's going to be like Davy Crockett.
He's going to come in there and tell them that he's half alligator, half snapping turtle, half wild bear, and a little bit touched with snapping turtles.
All right, Keith.
So it's good news about Roy Moore.
We're excited about that.
He really represents a lot about this show, a lot that this show represents from our populist Southern Christian perspective.
Now, a couple of minutes left.
We covered this last week.
Obviously, what's going on in the NFL is it's a protest against white America.
It's not a protest against the flag.
It's not a protest against patriotism, which is, of course, the last refuge of a scoundrel, as our good friend in London wrote to me this week.
It's a protest against white America, a white America that has given them everything, given them their millions.
It was white ticket holders that gave them their money.
It was white men who gave them their freedom.
White men gave them everything, but it's not enough.
There they are on their summit.
They have one talent in life.
Most of these people's second best job option besides playing in the NFL would be riding shotgun on the neighborhood garbage truck.
It's a way for 350-pound black guys to be paid millions of dollars and to be cultural heroes and athletes.
The only other way that people like that are going to be athletes is if suddenly sumo wrestling sweeps the athletic landscape in America, you know, and becomes wildly popular.
That's the only other way that people, most of the black NFL players are linemen.
There are seven linemen versus four backs.
And you do have backs that are very big and beefy, the fullback type.
So consequently, eight or two-thirds of the positions are held by people that are basically just biological abnormalities.
These biological abnormalities are pampered, paid millions of dollars, have, you know, live la doci vita, and they are so ungrateful for their uncanny good luck.
Nowhere else in the world is there such a market for big fat guys as well.
I mean, they're protesting racial injustice generically, treatment of police towards blacks specifically.
But if blacks didn't commit crimes, they wouldn't have trouble with the police, let me tell you.
And the people they are most predominantly protesting, Trayvon Martin and Freddie Gray and all of these other thugs, if they weren't breaking the law, they wouldn't have had run-ins with the police.
They'd still be alive.
Well, what they need to do is they all ought to be required to watch Chris Rock's video, How to Avoid Getting Beat Up by the Police.
Well, anyway, do you think this will hurt the NFL's bottom line, which we certainly hope?
We hope it'll put the NFL out of business.
But when are people going to actually stop buying tickets?
And we heard all of the New England Patriots fans booing, but it was still a sellout crowd.
Well, they've already bought those tickets.
Here's what I'm hoping will happen.
I hope this really develops a fissure between the white fan base and the black players in the black team.
And you take out the NBA and the NFL.
I hope that really what goes on here is the beginning of the end of this professional sports culture we have in America, which is basically being used to create a class of black millionaires that don't deserve, under any stretch of the imagination, these concussion-addled fools that are coming up here.
And they can't even give a coherent response or a consistent response among themselves as to why they are taking a knee.
The real answer, like you said, as to why they're taking a knee is because they hate white America, the white America that is financing their lavish lifestyle.
Well, that's all there is to it.
And yeah, if you take out the white fans from any NFL stadium tomorrow, which is Sunday, if you're listening to us live, you take out all the white fans out of a 90,000-seat stadium, 80,000-seat stadium, you probably got 2,000 or 3,000 people left.
Well, let me say, let me quote Napoleon on this.
Napoleon said, when your enemy is making a mistake, don't interrupt him.
Let's let them continue to do this.
Let our enemies as white people make a mistake and let them continue to alienate the conservative groups.
When you see Sean Hannity in high dudging about it, you know that the conservative movement has finally been aroused.
All right, folks, we got to put a pause right there.
When we come back, we think Andrew Fraser, author of the book that has served as our incentive for the fundraising drive this quarter, will be our guest live from Australia.
