It is Saturday evening, March the 5th, and it's been such a great day today.
It was 68 degrees and sunny.
I was outside playing with my kids at a bounce house.
You know, you get these inflatable jumpers, and I've been out there just having a wonderful time, and it has been an absolutely thrilling and exciting week all the way around.
So much has happened since we were on the air with you live last Saturday night from the Donald Trump rally in Millington, Tennessee.
If you've been on another planet over the course of the last seven days, perhaps you're not aware.
But as you know, not only did we report live as fully credentialed members of the press from Donald Trump's rally last Saturday night right here on this very program, we also on Tuesday taped an interview with Donald Trump Jr.
It was a 15-minute interview.
It was an outstanding conversation featuring Sam Bushman, host of the Liberty Roundtable Show, and yours truly, and of course, Donald Trump Jr.
Well, after we taped the interview, I put up a little post at thepolitical cesspool.org that documented not only the fact that we had recorded the interview, but also it sort of detailed my experiences at the rally last Saturday night.
And a couple of hours after that, the entire national media threw a temper tantrum, the likes of which you wouldn't believe.
They have taken their lies and defamation and absurdity to a whole new level.
And let me tell you something.
For them, that is saying a great deal because I actually thought they couldn't get more depraved and desperate.
But they found a way to do it, and we're going to document that the whole three hours tonight.
Now, I know I told you that we would be airing that interview that we taped with Donald Trump Jr. tonight, but if you're a member of the media and you're tuning in to hear it, you might as well go right on back out the door because we're not going to play it tonight.
I may decide to play it sometime between the time when Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee and the time that he is sworn in as President of the United States.
But then again, I may not.
I'm not going to give you the satisfaction.
I would play it if it hadn't already aired.
We aired it, and I'll explain how all that happened, ladies and gentlemen.
I had a broker this with Sam Bushman and the Liberty Roundtable Show, and we recorded it on his show live on Tuesday morning, Super Tuesday.
And I'll tell you why in the next segment.
We'll get to that.
But it had to do with his window of availability and what I was able to make happen because we air live on Saturday nights and Trump Jr. could only appear on Tuesday morning.
I will explain all that to you in detail, okay?
But I'm not going to play it tonight because I've got too much other stuff I have to cover.
It would eat up a sixth of the show, and I have got to set the record straight to some of these incredulous headlines.
You know, our program has been the focal point of one of the most intense stories in all of politics this week, where it has been made the subject of egregious lies.
And I'm going to set the record straight this evening without retreat, surrender, or apology.
And it's like we say, if you're not catching flack, you're not over the target.
Or, if you will, if you're not in the middle of something, then you're not where you need to be.
Well, let me tell you something.
We're taking heavy fire.
We're under siege, and we're standing strong with shoulders squared and our heads held high.
And I can tell you something.
I have never been more proud of this program.
I've never been more proud of my audience.
I've never been more proud of my team here in Memphis because we are showing you what it takes to be men.
And it's time that in this country, men become men again.
And you don't run when a feet girly men journalists call you names.
And you don't run when confused women who are pretending to be men, Rachel Maddow, call you names.
And we're not going to run and we're not going to apologize.
And I'm going to break it down over the course of the next three hours.
But to be fair.

I think he came on at about the 17-minute mark.
And again, I'm going to explain how that happened and why it aired on Liberty Roundtable rather than the Political Cesspool as this show continues.
But in talking about some of the, just to give you an idea of how big this is, how big this was, it's starting to die down.
I mean, news cycles only last so long.
That's something people don't understand.
Nothing lasts forever.
But if you go to your internet and you go to Google and you do a Google News search for Donald Trump James Edwards or Donald Trump political cesspool, beware your computer may melt down right in front of your very eyes.
This has been covered by everybody, and I mean everybody, not just in America, but around the world.
Front page news, huge story.
Of course, it's all media manufactured.
It's trumped up, no pun intended, to be some sort of a scandal or some sort of a controversial interview.
The interview we had should have been aired on Fox News.
In fact, people like Sam Bushman and myself and Keith and Eddie, we should be the ones in the positions of Fox News.
We should be having those salaries.
We should be the ones on CNN because we're going to tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
And we're not going to let political correctness dictate what we can and cannot talk about.
But just to give you an idea of just some, I could never cover them all.
I'm talking about hundreds of articles, hundreds of radio programs, countless television shows covering this in the most wild and fantastic ways possible.
But just to give you a quick rundown of just a few, the Washington Post and the New York Times, they've both covered it loud in a very big way.
Those are the two, I hate to say prominent because they're liars like the rest of them, but those are the two probably most prominent newspapers in the world, Washington Post, New York Times.
It's big news there.
Reuters.
With Reuters, we went entirely around the world.
I guess Reuters is the new AP.
I don't know.
Reuters covered it with a huge article.
Newsweek, the Daily Mail, as I said, the UK Daily Mail.
It went international.
My phone was blown up off the hook a couple of nights ago.
I don't remember exactly what night it was, but the same guy called me three times in a row.
When somebody calls you three times in a row, you think somebody's dead, right?
Well, I was up in my daughter's room and I was giving my kids, I got a five-year-old daughter, I got a one-year-old son.
They were riding on my back.
I was giving them horseback rides.
We were playing.
And the guy keeps calling it.
I said, what's going on?
He said, you got to turn it on MSNBC.
Rachel Maddow's talking about you.
Well, I said, it certainly wouldn't be the first time that she's covered me.
But do you think I want to get lectured in morality from a lesbian?
You know, that's not going to happen.
Enjoy it, but I'm not going to watch it.
I got calls.
They're talking about you on CNN.
They're having a panel.
They got your picture up.
You know, it's interesting.
CNN is really interesting because, you know, they used to have me on.
I was a regular contributor for a short time on the Palazzo show.
They had me on three times in one month back in 2007.
They always introduced me as a conservative talk radio host.
They actually introduced me properly as a conservative talk radio host.
But CNN, you know, I guess they changed their mind about me all of a sudden.
And so they piled on.
But yeah, I don't care.
I don't care.
I couldn't care less.
In fact, I actually enjoy it.
That's the dirty little secret about it.
I actually enjoy it.
And it has brought more recognition to our work.
It's a work that I'm very proud of.
And I'm going to set the record straight with some of these smears.
White supremacists, and they even got a new one.
I'm a pro-slavery advocate.
I advocate for slavery.
And this show exists to advance a pro-slavery narrative.
Now, that is so outrageous.
Surely anybody would read that.
and know that that just sounds ridiculous because it is ridiculous and it's not true.
And if anybody does take that seriously, they're not people that I would want listening to this show anyway.
In fact, the media is so universally despised and people know how much it's in the tank and they really are just the enforcers of political correctness now.
Journalism 101, none of them went to.
Who, what, where, when, and why, the fact, that doesn't matter.
Anybody that would put even a modicum of faith in what the media says aren't people that I really want to talk to anyway.

Okay, folks, I'm going to give you a quick rundown, again, just for perspective's sake, of some of the headlines and some of the excerpts from these articles.
Again, too numerous to mention.
I mean, we can really only scrape the tip of the iceberg with all of this, but we'll do the best we can.
Washington Post, the headline, Donald Trump Jr. stumbles out of Father's Shadow and into the spotlight with white nationalist interview.
Again, here's one of these terms, one of many terms they've used to describe me this week that I have never used to describe myself.
And out of all of this press, we did have a lot of reporters emailing us this week for comment.
I don't talk to reporters anymore.
I haven't for a long time.
They're disgusting, despicable people.
They're liars.
I don't want to have to delouse.
I don't enjoy that process.
And so I did refer a couple of them to a statement that we had posted to our website, but I didn't actually talk to any of them because it's just a waste of time.
I mean, you can't argue with these people.
They write these narratives in advance.
They write their story in advance.
And the facts are the last thing that they're looking for.
But anyway, white nationalist interview, Donald Trump Jr. stumbles out of Father's Shadow into the spotlight with white nationalist interview, according to the Washington Post.
Donald Trump Jr. didn't skip a beat when white nationalist radio host James Edwards likened Trump Sr. to the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne who tried to drive the Muslims out of Europe.
I hope your father becomes the next Charlemagne after he becomes the next president, said James Edwards.
When Edwards then complained about political correctness, Trump Jr. jumped right into the conversation.
Trump Jr.'s answers largely lined up with what his father has said in debates and on the campaign trail.
But in Edwards, he had an interviewer far outside the political mainstream.
Edwards is the host of the political cesspool, a white nationalist show based in Memphis.
How about this one from the New York Times?
Donald Trump's son calls interview with white nationalist inadvertent.
And we'll explain how the interview came to be.
Don't worry, we're going to get to that.
But I'm just going through a couple of headlines here before we break it down.
New York Times writes, Donald Trump Jr. said on Wednesday that he inadvertently gave an interview to a white nationalist.
Again, the media use these terms to describe us.
We've never used them, and they never asked me what we consider ourselves to be.
Now, that would be something.
If they said Donald Trump Jr. appeared on a controversial show, that would be true.
They can say some of the people out there have called James Edwards this or that, but James Edwards says he is this.
They could say controversial, but they list matter of fact that we're pro-slavery, white supremacists, neo-Nazis, on and on and on, all of the usual smear words, all of the slurs, racist, blah, blah, blah.
I mean, how do they know?
Have they ever talked to me?
Have they ever listened to the show?
No, they're going by the worst of what they found about us on the internet and printing that as a fact.
It should, you know, I agree with Donald Trump on this.
That's libelous.
That's libelous.
We need to loosen the libel laws.
We need to sue these people.
Donald Trump Jr. said on Wednesday he inadvertently gave an interview to a white nationalist who has been promoting it on his website as a major exclusive that will air this weekend.
I never said it was exclusive.
All I said on the website was that I taped an interview with Donald Trump Jr.
I was going to play it tonight.
And I was until all of this happened.
Mr. Edwards hosted the political cesspool show, said on his website that he received press credentials for a Trump rally in Memphis, had a 20-minute interview with the younger Mr. Trump, which will air on Saturday.
The show has been cited by such groups as the Anti-Defamation League and Southern Poverty Law Center for fomenting hate and promoting white ascension, whatever that means.
Mr. Edwards insisted on his website that the interview took place and he has been mistreated by the media.
Well, that's true, and they did quote my website.
I'll give them credit for that, what little credit they deserve.
My show, The Political Cesspool, they're quoting me now from a statement, of course, because I wouldn't answer the phone when they called, promotes a proud, paleoconservative Christian worldview, and we reject media descriptions of our work as white supremacists, pro-slavery, and other scare words.
As I clearly wrote, in no way should anyone interpret our press credentialing and subsequent interview with Donald Trump Jr. as any kind of endorsement by the Trump campaign.
So you've heard what the New York Times and Washington Post had to say.
Reuters.
Reuters went around the world.
Donald Trump Jr. appears with white supremacist on radio shows.
See, sometimes I'm a white nationalist, sometimes I'm a white supremacist.
It just depends on what mood they're in, I guess.
They use those words interchangeably, by the way, and I don't even think they can describe them.
One of Trump's sons, this is Reuters now, appeared along with a white supremacist while giving an interview, adding concerns that the frontrunner in the battle to be the Republican candidate in November's presidential election is willing to accept support from extremists.
During the show, he was questioned by James Edwards, host of the political cesspool.
The show founded in 2005, actually it's 2004, but again, that's a fact.
I know that doesn't have anything to do with reports in the media.
The show founded in 2005 and syndicated by Sam Bushman's Liberty News Radio Network has featured such extremists as former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke.
Well, you know what?
We have interviewed David Duke many times on this show.
And so has everybody else.
You know, Wolf Blitzer doesn't get called a pro-slavery advocate because he's interviewed David Duke.
David Duke has been on every show you can imagine.
And by the way, David Duke, yes, it's true, was in the Klan in the 70s when he was a kid.
Okay?
And since then, since then, he was a member of the House in Louisiana.
He was a member of the legislature in Louisiana.
He was the Republican nominee for governor.
He was the Republican nominee for the United States Senate.
And he would have won those seats had the sitting president of the United States, George W. Bush, also a Republican, not come down on him.
But anyway, I digress.
Again, back to Reuters.
Edwards also said on his blog that he attended a Memphis rally for the billionaire candidate as a credentialed member of the media.
The Trump campaign asked about an interview in the presence of the Tennessee-based Edwards denied any knowledge of it.
Again, I'm going to explain why they did.
The campaign said it also did not know about Edwards' personal views.
That may or may not be true.
I guess it is true if they said it.
Here's some other headlines, though.
What supremacists are broadcasting from inside Trump rallies, according to the Huffington Post.
How about this one?
Donald Trump Jr. grants 20-minute interview to prominent white supremacists, prominent white supremacists.
Well, I guess anything worth doing right, you always want to be the best at anything you do.
New York Daily News, Trump Jr. interviewed by pro-white radio host who called slavery the greatest thing that ever happened to African Americans.
I mean, that's so preposterous.
I'll explain that in a minute.
We're going to get to all of this, folks.
You've got to give me time to unroll it.
How about this, the UK Daily Mail, UK Daily Mail, International?
That's a big one.
Donald Trump Jr. campaigned for dead on radio show where he was interviewed by white supremacist hosts, another slur.
Do they call blacks who prefer the company of their own people black supremacists?
Do they call Jewish people who prefer the culture of Jewish people Jewish supremacists?
Do they call Latinos and Hispanics who prefer the culture and celebrate their heritage Latino supremacist?
I mean, this is only a slur that applies exclusively to white people.
How about this?
This is the best one yet.
Media-hating Trump campaign approves credentials for slavery-loving white supremacists.
Slavery-loving!
They make this up.
This is all so made up.
It's just they pulled it out of thin air.
Donald Trump Jr. appears with white supremacist on radio show that's from news week so you see what I've had to put up with this week ladies and gentlemen do you see what it takes to be a man and speak up against it about some of these things and then from the Times of Israel you can't make this stuff up Times of Israel white supremacist I guess that's me says he will interview Donald Trump Jr.
It also made big news in Nigeria, and we got a big market there, growing market in Nigeria.
Hong Kong, Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan, Canada.
It went around the world.
But the one thing I really want to address, I'm going to tackle this in the next segment.
And in the next segment, I'm also going to tell you how the interview with Donald Trump came to be and why it aired on Sam Bushman's show and all of that.
I got to take a break here, guys.
I mean, when's the next commercial?

This is a lot of fun.
But I'm going to really respond to the assertion that I'm pro-slavery.
Now, I have been on the air for 11 years.
I have written at my website, there's more than 6,000 blog entries.
Now, those blog entries vary, they oscillate anywhere from full-length feature pieces to short little blurbs to promotional announcements to stuff written by other people that we repost to our website.
But 6,000 blog entries.
All of that over the years.
Never before have I been accused of being pro-slavery.
But you know when they do it?
They do it because they hate Donald Trump.
They do it because they hate white people.
They hate Christians.
They hate everything that we stand for.
They hate that we say that we want to be able to celebrate our unique cultural heritage just the way everybody else is entitled to do.
But they really just won't fight faith.
It makes for a much more sensational headline to say, Donald Trump Jr. interviewed by pro-slavery advocate James Edwards or white supremacist.
You click on that, right?

You know, you want to hear some of the heroes of James Edwards.
It's people like Davey Crockett.
Davy Crockett said something that's certainly applicable to the way I've approached this whole thing.
And he said, it's a life model that we should all have.
Be always sure you are right, then go ahead.
And there's no doubt in my mind that I'm right about things.
And there's no doubt in my mind that what I am doing is morally sound and factually sound.
And there's no shame in it.
And I will not be made to back down.
But I do want to address some things and set the record straight.
So since the biased and controlled establishment media has minted me as the most notorious man in America over the course of the past week, I feel as though we must use some time here on this broadcast to set the record straight.
And with all of these people talking about me, it's interesting that none of them wanted to talk to me because again, they don't want to hear two sides of the story.
So again, folks, Google Donald Trump James Edwards if you missed it.
But throughout my career, I have been maliciously and unfairly defamed as a so-called white supremacist because I dare to stand strong and challenge political correctness.
Now, let me be clear.
I am unequivocally a pro-white advocate, a European-American advocate.
I advocate for the best interests of my people, which has nothing, though, whatsoever to do with white supremacy.
I am not a white supremacist.
But, as I've said, I'm not going to give others the power to silence me with these radioactive shut-up words.
I feel as though members of every—now, let me be clear here, and please listen.
I feel as though members of every racial and ethnic group have the right to spokesmen and organizations that seek to advance their unique interests.
Now, this is not only allowed but encouraged so long as the individual is not of European descent.
Organizations proliferate that seek to advance the interests of various minorities, but only when someone such as myself, a heterosexual Christian, male, family man, only when somebody such as myself claims equal rights for my own people do slurs such as racist and white supremacists come into play.
It's healthy for groups to show solidarity and a preference with those whom they share a common ancestry, culture, heroes, history, holidays, and language.
I would never say, and I do not believe that minority groups shouldn't have this right because having a natural preference doesn't mean that you hate others.
I don't want to take that right away from minority groups.
In fact, I think they're much more healthy than white people when it comes to having that sense of solidarity.
I don't hate anyone, but I'm not going to allow myself to be shamed when I say that I feel more at home personally with others who share my cultural heritage.
It used to be called freedom of association.
Now, one of the wild accusations that's been ubiquitous in the media is that I'm a pro-slavery advocate.
Now, this is a lie straight from the pit of hell, and nothing could be further from the truth.
And I think the media knows that.
But it simply doesn't care.
It makes for a more salacious story if they can clearly distort a quote from a blurb that I pinned nearly 10 years ago and pervert it to fit their agenda.
Now, here's how the pro-slavery lie came to be.
On August the 8th, 2000, August the 11th, 2008, August 11th, 2008, I quoted a black writer for the Jamaican Observer.
He wrote this, We blacks were changed for the better, I might add, on account of slavery.
We are a better race today because our ancestors went through slavery.
The millions of lives lost were not in vain.
The Europeans proclaimed the need for us to be civilized through slavery, and though this may be hard to understand, they were right.
Indeed, based upon what is happening in black Africa today, slavery for us in the West was, in many respects, our salvation.
Now, I posted that excerpt on August the 11th, 2008 at thepolitical Cesspool.org because I thought it was very unique that a black writer would say such a thing.
I followed it up with a single sentence in which I agreed with him that slavery was, in that respect, a good thing for blacks.
That was actually the title of his headline, by the way, Slavery was the greatest thing for African Americans.
So I'm quoting him.
And because of that, they were introduced to Christianity.
Their descendants now enjoy freedom and a better quality of living here in America than their kinsmen do anywhere else in the world.
Now, it should have clearly gone without saying that I don't wish slavery on anyone, nor do I wish to revive the practice.
And here's another thing that people forget.
Throughout history, all races have suffered the hardships of slavery, and all have enslaved others.
Slavery is not an experience unique to blacks in the antebellum South, though few people that go to public schools would realize that anymore.
Whites, too, have been enslaved in the past, but it was whites who ended slavery in the civilized world.
And needless to say, this pleases me.
Now, with regard to this issue, Pat Buchanan, who's appeared on this show several times, has previously written something very similar in his nationally syndicated column.

America has been the best country on earth for black folks.
It was here that 600,000 black people brought from African slave ships grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known.
No people anywhere have done more to lift blacks up than white Americans.
Untold trillions have been spent since the 60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell Grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, and poverty programs designed to bring the African American community into the mainstream.
So that's Pat.
I guess Pat's a pro-slavery advocate too.
Pat believes in slavery.
Give me a break.
The fact of the matter is, though, that slavery still exists today, media, although it exclusively exists in non-white countries.
I guess it doesn't matter to you that slavery exists in non-white countries because you can't gain political capital from it.
Political correctness doesn't allow you to shake down the blacks that still hold people in bondage or the non-whites that still hold people in bondage.
And I have no problem in admitting that I wish slavery had never existed for any number of reasons.
And one of those reasons is that it's used as a bludgeon to make whites feel a universal sense of guilt and shame.
Now having cleared that up, it comes as no surprise to me that the American public has absolutely no faith in the media.
And they are increasingly getting new their news from alternative sources such as this network.
If you don't know yet, ladies and gentlemen, this is to you, the fans of the political assessable.
If you don't know yet how the media works, please allow me to educate you.
When it comes time to maliciously defame people like me, the narrative is already written well in advance.
The facts bear no weight whatsoever.
A dishonest reporter or journalist will scour thousands of blog entries on my website.
Then take a sentence or two out of over 6,000 blog entries.
They will cherry-pick one sentence out of context and then present that to the world as the sum of my beliefs without ever contacting me for verification.
Now, any honest person would be embarrassed by employing such a tactic.
But then again, honesty is not high on the list of priorities with those in the media.
What's incredible, though, is that after one outlet reported this pro-slavery lie earlier this week, the rest of them literally swallowed it, hook line, and sinker and vomited it up back under their own mastheads over and over again.
If you look at all of these stories, you do a Google news search like I asked you to do, James Edwards, Donald Trump, Donald Trump, Political Assess Pool, all of these articles look like they were just a copy and paste hatchet job.
There is no diversity in the reporting whatsoever.
They all read exactly the same, even though they have appeared in all of these different publications.
The media speaks with a single voice.
And I fully stand by the statement.
Like I said, I can't speak to these people.
They just gross me out.
But I did post a single statement to the Political Assess Bull's website, which I directed them to via email.
And this is what I wrote.
My show, The Political Cesspool, promotes a proud, paleoconservative Christian worldview, and we reject the media descriptions of our work as white supremacists, pro-slavery, and other such scare words.
As I clearly wrote, in no way whatsoever should the press take our press credentialing and subsequent interview with Donald Trump Jr. as any kind of endorsement by the Trump campaign.
The grotesque way in which the media has purposefully misrepresented my work by taking certain cherry-picked statements wildly out of context is both shameful and reprehensible.
Now here's the closer.
That said, I apologize for nothing and I retract nothing.
Now with regard to the interview that I participated in with Donald Trump Jr., all I posted on our website was that, quote, next Saturday show, that's tonight's show, March 5th, will feature a previously taped 20-minute interview with Donald Trump Jr.
The media took that statement.
Now listen to how ridiculous they are.
What liars they are.
The media took that statement and filled in the blanks in whatever way best suited their needs.
One very prominent media outlet, establishment media outlet, claimed, as a matter of fact, that I interviewed Donald Trump Jr. while I was at the Trump rally in Memphis.
Another very prominent outlet, not some silly left-wing blog, some obscure blog, but I'm talking about major media network, claimed I am traveling the country with Donald Trump and I'm in attendance at various rallies.
They pulled these statements out of thin air.
They totally fabricated this.
It's amazing, ladies and gentlemen.
Now, the real story about what happened with this interview with Donald Trump was this.
An independent third-party booking agency sent an email to JamesEdwards at thepoliticalasspool.org on Sunday morning.
was the day after I attended the Trump rally in Memphis as a member of the credentialed media.

Well, folks, I'm so fired up, so excited about all the action that I ran straight into the commercial break there in the last segment.
So I'm just going to back up just a second ago.
I don't know exactly when we went into break and what the last thing you heard was, but I was telling you the story, the real story about how the interview with Donald Trump Jr. came to be, and that was, of course, that an independent third-party booking agency sent an email to me at jamesedwards at thepolitical cesspool.org the day after I attended a Trump rally in Memphis as a fully credentialed member of the media.
And they were asking if I would be interested in having Donald Trump on my program.
And as I said in the last segment, or as I believe I said in the last segment, I don't know exactly when we went to break, but I was too busy firing from both barrels.
Trump Jr.'s only availability was Tuesday morning.
This was Super Tuesday, March 1st.
And my program airs, as you know, live on Saturday nights.
So I couldn't make that work.
So I brokered the interview with my good friend Sam Bushman.
And as it turns out, as I mentioned, Sam aired his show live Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Central.
So I said, Sam, you want to have Donald Trump Jr. on?
He said, sure, let's do it.
I said, well, I got this email.
I can't handle it because he can only come on at Tuesday morning and just take it away.
And, man, I'll be listening.
He said, no, come on.
You know, it came through you.
Why don't you come on as a guest panelist?
We'll interview him together.
I said, okay, sounds great.
So that's what we did.
We had this incredible 15-minute interview.

But that is why the interview aired on Sam's show and not mine.
So these are the facts that how the interview came to be.
And it is true.
No skull duggery at all.
It's true that my plan was to rebroadcast it tonight on the political cesspool.
And my original statement doesn't contradict this.
All I said was we taped an interview.
We're going to air it Saturday night.
And until all the media happened, and we've got to spend the time setting the record straight now, that had been my intention.
But so many media outlets posted it to their stuff.
I mean, there's no sense in me posting it tonight.
We'll air it again at some point.
We will air it at some point, but there's just not enough time tonight.
I got too much to say.
So those are the facts about how it goes.
And the media would have known that if they had inquired with us before writing their stories, but they reported it as a matter of fact that we interviewed him on Saturday night in Memphis.
They reported it as a matter of fact that I was traveling around with Donald Trump as a member of his corps.
I mean, it's just crazy.
But this is smashmouth presidential politics.
I feel personally, it's totally within the rights of the Trump campaign to disavow the lies that the media has written about me.
They don't know me personally.
They don't know if it's true.
I think Trump does know that the media lies about everything, so he should know better.
But, you know, whatever.
I don't have any fault with them.
I don't have a gripe with them personally.
They have a plausible deniability.
It was a third-party booking agency that reached out to me because of the situation that I just explained to you.
It was booked through Sam Bushman and the Liberty Roundtable.
They have a plausible deniability there with the interview in question.
And while I naturally assume when someone sends me an email asking to come on the show that they actually want to appear, that's the thing that must be remembered is that the original interview request came from a third party and not the Trump campaign or Donald Trump Jr. personally.
So it's possible they didn't know who I was before this week.
I mean, we're pretty big.
I'm pretty proud of the recognition that we've gotten and how much we've grown.
But the fact of the matter is, I had so many interview requests of my own from reporters this week.
And as I broadcast to you tonight, I can't, if you put me on the spot and said, James, name a single one of those reporters.
I couldn't name a single one of them.
I didn't commit those names to memory.
Very well could have been the same thing with Donald Trump Jr.
So that's the story.
Even though I know the facts won't deter the propaganda out there and the premeditated hit pieces.
But if you're a casual observer and you're listening to the show for the first time tonight as a result of this incessant national and international media attention, if you want to know more about who we really are, I'm about to tell you.
I'm about to tell you who we are.
And by the way, in the next hour, we're going to play a clip from Jared Taylor, an outstanding new video that Jared Taylor posted at AmericanRenaissance, Amran.com, that pretty much sums up my opinions about identity and who we are.
But this is how I would describe who I am and who we are as a radio program.
If you ask me, James, how would you describe yourself?
These adjectives come to mind.
Christian.
European American advocate.
Family man.
Handsome.
Southern gentleman.
Paleo-conservative.
You could also say I'm a populist.
You could even say I'm right-wing.
If you look up the textbook definition of right-wing, that's accurate.
Okay, all of that.
That's it.
Okay, that's fine.
Now, here are a list of words that I have never used to describe myself.
I'm a constitutionalist, too.
That's another one.
Good one.
Here's a list of words that I have never used to describe myself and absolutely do not consider myself to be.
Anti-Semite.
It is true.
I have the courage to publicly disagree with certain Jewish people.
But does that make me an anti-Semite because I objectively disagree and criticize with someone who happens to be Jewish?
I mean, if you're Jewish and you see it my way, I'll have you on the show, Brother Nathaniel, and there's others.
Paul Gottfried.
Sure, there's Jewish people out there that we agree with.
Is it anti-Semitic to disagree with a Jewish person?
Well, I think that's the definition.
I think that's their definition of anti-Semite.
Neo-Nazi, that's another thing.
You know, that's another thing that they've talked about in all the press.
Our show exists to promote Holocaust denial, neo-Nazism.
Ladies and gentlemen, I've done hundreds of radio shows, literally thousands of hours of airtime.
I have never once talked about Nazism.
In fact, the only time we've ever really even talked about World War II is when we had Pat Buchanan on to talk about his book, Church Hill Hitler and the Unnecessary War.
But I guess I'm a neo-Nazi.
I guess they know that.
Deep in my heart, they've seen inside there, even though there's nothing publicly spoken or written that would ever suggest that.
They know.
All right, so anti-Semite, neo-Nazi, racist.
Well, I wrote a book, Racism, Schmaisism.
Every white person is a racist.
By the way, a racist is a white person, according to their definition, and a white supremacist is a white person who doesn't hate themselves.
White supremacist is another one.
And that's been ubiquitous.
And needless to say, pro-slavery advocate.
These are things I do not describe myself to be.
And when the media refers to me in such terms, it is a dishonest and blatant distortion of the facts.
As I say, for good reason, there exists no record on tape or in print or in private, by the way, even in the walls of my own home, have I ever said these things where I've identified myself as any of these slurs that they use to try and discredit my work, my good work.
To refer to me as an anti-Semite or a neo-Nazi or a racist or a white supremacist or a slave trader or whatever, a lover of slavery, to refer to me as such is a lie that they employ to make a story seem more dramatic and inflammatory.
Their hatred truly knows no bounds.
And the grotesque way in which they purposefully misrepresent who I am and what I stand for is reprehensible.
And I'd like to say again, no apology from me.
No retreat, no surrender.
So that's where we stand.
That pretty much sums up in a nutshell, and I mean it is a very tight nutshell.
It sums up what I've been going through the last seven days.
And I'd like to say again, out of all of these reports, I've said this once before, maybe twice, I'll say it a third time, not one of these reporters reached out to ask me.
I'll give you really the most blatant example of media dishonesty.
A local media outlet here in Memphis was reporting on this, and they stated, as a matter of fact, that we have written on our website that the political cesspool exists to promote white power.
Now, come on, folks.
White power, you know, that sounds militant.
That just sounds tacky.
I've heard of black power, of course.
But now, we've never written the words white power.
And I called this guy on.
I said, look, that's purposefully.
That's intentional lying.
He said, no, I saw it on your website.
I said, no, sir, you didn't.
That has never been written on my website.
It has never been written and it never would have been and it never will be.
White power.
He goes, I saw it.
I said, no, you didn't.
And he went and he got an email.
He goes, here it is.
It's right here.
It's still on your website.
And what he posted was from our statement of principles where we say we stand for, we're pro-Christian, pro-white, and pro-Southern.
I said, that says pro-white.
That doesn't say white power.
And he said, well, they're synonymous.
I said, not only are they not synonymous, there's a huge difference between someone who is pro-white and someone who is advancing so-called white power.
I don't want to lord over and oppress minorities.
I don't want to rule over them.
I don't want to subjugate them.
I don't want to take away their rights.
I want equal rights for all and special privileges for none.
But I'll tell you, one equal right I want is the right for my people, Caucasians, European Americans, Christians, heterosexuals.
I want to be able to have a sense of pride in who we are and what our culture is.
And they finally did retract it.
They finally did change their article to read pro-white rather than white power, but it took an act of Congress to get that done.
And I don't have the time to go to all of these people, and most of them wouldn't set the record straight anyway.
The only reason this guy did it was because he said he was quoting our website.
And that was just, I mean, they're all lies, but that was just a provable lie.
And anyway, he changed it.
But you know what?
All of this stuff, a part of me enjoys it because it gives me an opportunity to show our people what true leadership looks like.
And I have great friends and great family behind me.
The kind of people who would believe these lies, the kind of people who believe anything, really, the media rights, aren't people that I would probably associate in private anyway.
But the real people in my life, people like Keith and Eddie, my family, I have a beautiful, smart, intelligent wife who's the mother of my children, who loves me and supports me unconditionally.
I have a wonderful five-year-old daughter, a one-year-old son.
I have great friends, great support group, and they are behind me 100%.
If anything, this has made me stronger and more resolved to continue the work.
And we're going to continue to work in the second hour.
And we're going to bring on my co-host.
And we've got a lot more plans, so stay tuned.
