Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide, as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, back with the live third hour of the Political Cesspool.
Wow, it's been a wild ride to say the least.
Live from Memphis, Tennessee, an airport hangar full of people, all in support of Donald Trump, who landed, spoke, spent some time with the people, and took off.
Now James Edwards on the road.
Hi, James.
Sam, what a night.
And what great radio, folks.
I hope you've had half a bit of a time listening to the show as I have had bringing it to you tonight.
Of course, you know, 99 times out of 100, I'm in the captain's chair.
I'm front and center.
And I thought about that tonight.
First of all, what are the odds of Donald Trump being in Memphis, my hometown, on a Saturday night at 6 o'clock?
We're on the air three hours a week.
And he lands and does this right in the middle of our live broadcast.
The odds are incredible.
But yet that's where we were.
And I was thinking, you know, well, somebody's got to be in the studio.
Somebody's got to anchor the show.
This is normally my job.
You know, what are we going to do?
And then, of course, we have the pros pro, the old hand, Sam Bushman, stepping in and filling in the anchor's chair tonight so I could be a de facto correspondent.
And Sam, thank you for giving me that flexibility, give me the opportunity to be on the ground and report along with, as you heard in the second hour, Matt the Copperhead, our correspondent who's broken from Missouri to be here with us tonight.
And Keith Alexander, you'll heard from Eddie this hour.
He was there too this evening.
Just a great night for us to experience personally, and I hope a good night of radio also.
You know, James, it's kind of interesting.
We're all a family at Liberty News Radio and the political cesspool.
And you know what?
We all cover for each other.
You were running anchor while I was up in Oregon broadcasting live on the phone in crazy circumstances too.
You know what?
We've all been in just about every seat, haven't we?
Well, we were talking about that a little bit in the second hour.
This night has been such a blur.
I forget exactly how far we got in unveiling this, but we're talking about just the magic.
I think I was mentioning with literally one billion of the budget that a Fox News or CNN has, we were every bit as legitimate.
And frankly, I don't know who else besides the political cesspool broadcast that thing from real to real.
I mean, we got on the air at a little bit past six o'clock, and he'd been on the podium for a few minutes.
He couldn't do anything about that.
But for the rest of the time, it's been live coverage from the scene.
So once again, you talk, Sam, all the time about new media taking center stage.
And I guess in some regards, we're old media, too, because we're on AM and F and radio stations.
But the internet, of course, gives us the voice above and beyond that.
There are many other ways of the political cesspool in addition to online and on the radio dial.
But it shows that we can compete with a horrific fraction of what it costs for them to do what they do.
Tonight, we were on par with them in every way imaginable by every standard of measurement.
And ladies and gentlemen, I guess I had a hand in that from a radio point of view, but the man who built the infrastructure is the guy on the other end of this line right now.
Now, I want to kind of mention, it's interesting, too, how many people we have all over the country, James.
I mean, it's amazing how over and over a new event happens and we've got somebody there live on the scene.
It might be a citizen reporter like the Copperhead or a talk show host like you, but somebody, it just seems like it's there every time.
Well, listen to this.
I mean, Sam, just to give you a few examples off the top of my head, and I can never remember them all, but we had Copperhead in Missouri, in Ferguson, in Ferguson, when all of that was going down.
We had Peter Smith-Stanton reporting live from Baltimore when the city was ablaze.
We had Sean Bergen, our correspondent up in New York.
He was on the scene outside the hospital when two fallen police officers were taken in who had been shot by Black Lives Matter advocate, murdered by Black Lives Matter advocate.
We had a guy there.
Now, that was one we wished, of course, we didn't have because we wished that situation had never occurred.
But it goes to show with regards to the professionalism of this network, the professionalism of this broadcast, and our ability not to only be an outlet that covers the news, but in many times are the focal point of news stories, as we've been so often.
I don't say that in order to pat our own selves on the back, folks, because, of course, I mean this from the bottom of my heart, every bit of this that we've accomplished is the result of your prayerful support and your financial support.
None of this happens without the audience.
The audience are the ones that should be taking the victory lap tonight because they don't get media coverage from their point of view at an event like this tonight without them investing and getting a little skin in the game and putting their money where their mouth is and where their heart is.
And that gives us the fuel we need to make the budget and to pay the bills that, you know, there's certainly costs associated with running a 24-7 radio network.
And they help us make those ends meet.
You know, it's kind of fascinating.
Last week on the broadcast, Kurt and I took the time to break down exactly what it takes dollar-wise, et cetera, to run a legitimate radio network.
And, buddy, it's not cheap stuff.
No, it's not.
I mean, just, you know, our budget for this show, which is separate from the network expenses, is crippling in any of that's why we have to have our quarterly fundraising drives, which, by the way, ladies and gentlemen, I didn't plan on mentioning that, but our first quarter fundraising drive for 2016, that was just a perfect segue, begins on March the 1st.
So on Super Tuesday, we need everybody to come and rally and gather together.
If you've enjoyed the coverage we've been able to bring you tonight, remember that your financial contributions make that possible.
If you enjoy and receive entertainment and inspiration and encouragement from our work, education, we've got to have your support to be on the air.
And of course, as always, we will have a great incentive.
I'm going to unveil that on the website on Tuesday.
But if you want to go ahead and start putting a little something in the tip jar, we'd sure appreciate it.
And you can do that tonight, and it will count towards our first quarter fundraising drive, which will run from March 1st to March 31st.
You'll be getting a letter in the mail from me to that effect if you are a regular contributor to this broadcast.
So many people are around the world, Sam.
And some of those people very well could have been in that room tonight because we had a lot of people coming up and recognizing us and coming up to talk to show their support.
So just a grassroots populist program and a network.
And our people are Trump's people.
I really believe that in many ways.
Now, I found out that you went up to the concession stand and you almost, almost got one of the Canadian Bacon Burgers cruise styles.
Did you do that?
Well, I did get the Make America Great Again Burger, which, again, I want to repeat, I just love that.
I laughed out loud when I got there early this afternoon and saw all that.
100% American beef, 100% American cheese from the Crumburger.
The Canadian Bacon burger, that was the Cruzburger.
Now, they also had Bernie Sanders pork chop, pork, get it.
And then they had Hillary Clinton soft drinks.
And the Hillary Clinton soft drinks, they promised they had scrubbed all of them.
Ouch.
I'm a little worried about a Hillary Clinton soft drink.
Telling you right now, yeah, we're going to eat you.
I don't think I could have one of those.
Now, did the Bombardier eat the Canadian cheeseburger?
Well, Bombardier is right here, and he's trying to get me and the Copperhead to go into a pizza hut here.
Hey, no, no, you ask Copperhead.
Ladies and gentlemen, indulge this here.
You ask the Copperhead.
We're live on the radio right now.
Ask the Copperhead if he's fine with any gear because he drove from Missouri.
That's like we drove to Missouri right there to see him get baptized last year.
Yeah, you don't want to go to a bad board of tonight.
Tell the Bombardier to go to a place where they serve ribs and wings.
Come on.
Ribs and wings is where it's at.
Ask Matt if that's it or what.
When we come back, he really wanted barbecue, but I guess he's going to get pizza hut.
When we come back, the bombardier is going to take it away, though.
I want to get his take on what happened.
Was the bombardier wooing the ladies in the crowd?
What was going on when the bombardier was there?
We'll find out in seconds, ladies and gentlemen.
James Edwards live on your radio.
Many of you have heard me talk about my vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is all this vigor stuff about?
Well, vigor is defined as zest for life.
Your strength in body and mind, your energy levels.
It's kind of all wrapped into a term called vigor.

But I worked on it with Kurt with some natural help and healing.
And before you know it, now I've got an astounding 29 out of 32 on the vigor score.
Can you tell by the way I talk?
Oh, yes, my zest for life has never been better.

And now, back to tonight's show.
All right, I think we're going to get a big old veggie pizza for James Edwards, nothing but vegetables on that bad boy.
All right, man, we got what, but the bombardier coming up?
The bombardier is coming up.
I just wanted to make one remark to the audience.
This is, I don't know how many shows we've done, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of shows going back to 2004.
Oh, we're about to have a wreck here.
But this is a novelty tonight.
What's going on right now, ladies and gentlemen.
For the first time in my life in all these years in radio, I am broadcasting the show from my cell phone in my car while we're listening to it on the AM dial.
And what's interesting is that if you don't know how radio works, there's actually a delay from the live stream.
Stay on your phone, James.
Yeah, exactly.
There is a delay, of course, between what I'm saying now and what's being played over the air.
So I'm actually listening to myself on the radio from a minute ago.
Anyway, it's an interesting dynamic and something.
I don't think I've ever been in the car on the cell phone while I've been broadcasting live.
So pretty interesting.
But I do have Eddie here.
And Sam, when I toss it over to Eddie, ask him, well, I guess you can hear me asking him.
Eddie, what were your thoughts and observations?
What was it like to be in the crowd tonight?
First off, I'd like to say that once again, God Almighty has smiled upon the political suspool and Liberty News Radio because, like Ben James said back in Hollywood, came out here in Millington.
God Almighty picked Saturday night for the political cesspool is online.
None other than 6 p.m. did the Donald come into Millington.
Another thing, God Almighty got us out of Millington because it's pitch black out here in the middle of nowhere.
And I was just trying to feel my way through the dark.
I had to stop in the middle of this hellacious traffic and tell James James.
He said, well, just feel your way.
Neither do I. Just find us someplace to eat.
So lo and behold, God left us came out right into Raleigh, Tennessee, where we know where we are.
But I'm going to tell you what, I've been to a lot of political rallies and I've never seen, not since George Wallace back in 68, has any candidate generated so much just pure raw electrical emotion.
You have to be in there to realize you can feel it.
You know, I'm not saying I trust the Donald 100% because like Thomas Jefferson said, you know, and George Washington both never put your faith in man.
And they said a lot more than that.
But he said we should bind him down with a change of constitution.
But Donald spoke straight to the heart of the American people.
You should have heard the Copperhead talking to one of the radio guys, one of the newsmen.
Me and the Copperhead both got interviewed by the Denver Post and these other people, but we kept it clean.
We really did.
But, you know, the Donald got the only thing he left out, I wish he would comment on because he has said if he gets in, he's going to audit the Federal Reserve.
I wish he said that tonight.
I was explaining to the newspaper reporter, in my opinion, the greatest thing that Donald could do would be not audit the Federal Reserve, but to get rid of the Federal Reserve.
And he could do that.
He could write an executive order to get rid of that.
Matter of fact, there's already an order on board, I believe, to do that.
JF Pay did it kind of de facto.
When he signed an executive order having the United States Treasury to print up silver certificates, you know, that would mean that these, instead of having just a fiat currency like the Federal Reserve is printing out, you would have an actual silver certificate being printed out by the United States Treasury backed by silver.
That would have ended the Federal Reserve reign overnight.
He didn't mention that, but he did mention the fact that the Chinese, you know, the Chinese, they're eating their lunch because they can bring their products in here totally tax-free.
Same thing with Mexico, same thing with Korea.
You know, everybody is coming in here, no tariffs, no tax, nothing.
When we go sell our products in a foreign foreign nation, we're cashed.
We have to pay all kinds of fees, all kinds, you know, every kind of penalty you can think of.
He said, oh, well, this crowd was crazy.
He said, this apple is no longer going to be made in Singapore, in China, in Mexico.
We're going to bring them back here in the United States.
We're going to bring these millions of dollars back here in the United States.
And we're going to ship all these illegals the heck out of this country.
And not only that, we're going to start charging Mexico for these illegals up here.
And as we explained to the newspaper reporter, me, James, Sam, we all, everybody in the country, we've got to have, not only do we have to have driver's license, we have to have these liability insurance.
The Nexus drive up here with no insurance, no license.
Guess what?
They get free medical care.
I'm a combat veteran.
I can't even get free medical care.
I can barely get any medical care at all.
None of us can.
Guess what?
I'm a combat veteran.
I don't need to subsidize my food, my housing, my education.
The kids don't get to go to school-free.
They did with the duel now.
But the Donald covered every bit of that.
The Donald covered he hit on all eight cylinders.
But I was very proud of the Donald.
I was very proud of Jane.
Matt, you should have heard Matt, boy.
And we'll have to tell you something that the Copperhead did with neighborship.
I don't know if I should have said over the news, but you should have seen the Copperhead Naxis do.
Was that right there, folks?
I think we're getting ready to eat because I'm a hungry.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Yeah.
Sam, am I talking over to you, son?
I can't hear you.
You're doing perfect, sir.
I'm just letting you go.
I want to know a couple of questions, though.
How many people do you think were in the crowd?
I'm sorry.
How many people do you think were in the crowd?
There were, I'll tell you what, there were so many people in the crowd.
We filled up this gigantic hangar, a huge hangar.
You could easily bring in an F-16 fighter robber.
No sweat.
I'd say the ceiling was probably, I'd say, what do you say?
The ceiling was 83,000.
I would say 20,000.
They were estimating 20,000 crowds of 20,000.
There was 15,000 if there was one.
I don't think we're ever going to get out of there.
The traffic was hellacious.
You know, I had to take the copperhead to his school.
Me and we had to feel our way there.
My truck was lost.
We found my truck, and then the copperhead hopped in my old Dodge.
We dropped him off in his suburban.
And Bobby Grayson guy, like I said, we found our way out of Tippett County.
You know, it was kind of unfamiliar there, but we got here.
Heck of a crowd, electric crowd.
There was a few, a few bad apples there tried to raise, you know, start trouble.
But let me tell you what, the people there took care of those people right fast.
And the cops did not interfere.
The cops did not try to arrest any of the good guys at all.
And like the Copperhead told one of the guys, he said, maybe next time you'll think about bringing a better sign, tougher sign.
But I'll tell you what, like you say, like you say now, I don't trust any politician.
And I know Sam will back me up there.
It was either, I think it was George Washington said, he said, government, and I've said this before, I hope people are not tired of hearing it.
Government is not reason.
It is not eloquence.
Government is force.
Law, brutal force.
He said, and like fire, government like fire.
makes a dangerous servant and a very cruel master.
He said, so in matters of politics, speak to me not of confidence in men.
Instead, let us bind them down with a change of accounts that can make this.
And I'll pop at Trump like it does anybody else.
But at this important learn this time, I think the guy's, he's up there.
He's got my vote.
No doubt about it.
He swung me tonight.
He really did.
But Sam, it's been a magic night.
Copperhead came over.
Of course, we got James and Keith.
You just feel the love amongst us brothers here.
And you've been here, Sam.
You and Kurt, you know how the brotherhood we have.
We love each other.
The love we have of each other, Liberty News, the political cesspool is 100% sincere people.
We love each other.
We eat together, sleep together.
We live together.
We'll die together if it's necessary.
But we ain't backing down one inch.
We're about to take a break.
Are you going to give James Edwards just a veggie pizza?
Is that what you're going to do?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey, James Edwards is eating nothing but veggie pizza tonight.
He's going to eat veggie pizza in celebration.
He's already turned over a new library.
He's going to live a healthy life.
And he's going to dedicate his new healthy life to the Donald.
I think the Donald's going to make James Edwards the food czar.
And he's going to upstage Hillary and Michelle on veggies.
We'll talk about it.
This is the political cesspool radio program.
You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
Listen, do you hear that sound?
It started low, but it's getting progressively louder into a crescendo, even louder, irresistible, ending in an ear-splitting blast of mass disruption.
That's the sound of America's economic and political systems crashing to the ground.
But we have a plan.
We will be ready to restore political sanity.
We will be ready to answer the call of productive America.
We will restore America's industrial base and put America back to work.
We will shut down political correctness and restore decency and positive media to America.
We will save our Constitution, our traditional way of life, our customs, and religion.
We will restore sound money and crush the debt-based system of monetary slavery.
And we will end America's foreign misadventures.

In the year 1900, white people of European descent comprised 35% of the world population.
Today it is less than 9% and falling fast.
Europe is being overrun with Middle Eastern immigrants, and America's founding stock is rapidly being replaced with third world peoples from around the globe.
For the last 50 years, every influential institution in this nation, our schools and universities, our media, our churches and our employers, have promoted policies and principles that teach whites to be ashamed of their great heritage and birthright.
We who in the 1950s, the 1960s, and 1970s were the world's dominant force are now so afraid of being called racist that we were quailing towards irrelevance and extinction.

It is edited by Professor Kevin McDonald, who's no stranger to listeners of the political cesspool.
There are quite a few reasons for the precarious state of our civilization and our people, but one of the main ones is that we have lost the intellectual and moral high ground to a cultural elite that is hostile to our people and our culture.
Those of us who are politically aware must understand that the elites dominating culture and the political process in the West are intellectually and morally bankrupt.

To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
All right, as far as I can tell, the Trump rally ended.
Memphis, Tennessee.
James Edwards, Bombardier Miller, and others live in, what, a pizza joint?
And I guess the Bombardier is trying to woo the waitresses.
James Edwards getting veggie pizza, huh, James?
Well, I don't have any room for it after the Make America Great Again, Burger.
You know, Sam, it's so busy today.
I was so busy today.
The first time I ate or had anything to drink even was during the middle of the second hour of the night's broadcast.
And that's the kind of scramble it's been to get everything in order.
So, yeah, I'm just going to sit here and watch the Bombardier and the Copperhead eat, and we're just going to enjoy the rest of the weird show in a great way.
And they said, now we're at a restaurant.
I'm still on my cell phone connected to the studio.
So it's amazing what you can do with live radio.
But we're here and it's the after party now.
You know, when you're working towards something all day, and then it happens and it's over, all of that energy, all of that adrenaline just plummets to the floor and you are ready for bed.
And I can tell you something, ladies and gentlemen, we're on live for another 26 minutes.
In 27 minutes, I'll be asleep.
It's going to be a quick in early night when I get home.
So where do you think we go from here when it comes to the Trump campaign?
Is he just going to rock it across the country and have incredible crowds and everybody else is going to melt down?
Or do you think they're going to really have a discussion between Donald and Hillary?
Who do you think might end up bowing out next?
What do you think is going to happen campaign-wise?
Well, I think the writing's on the wall.
And I think that goes back to something we touched on in the first hour.
Now that you have sitting governors and sitting United States Congressmen coming over to the Trump camp, the establishment opposition against Trump is weakening, obviously, as he continues to rack up the victories in the different states.
I would say he wins all but one or two states on Super Tuesday.
He could run the table.
He could still, he's still within striking distance in Texas, which is Cruz's home state.
But he will win all of them with the exception of maybe one or two.
And that's going to be enough.
And then it goes from there to the second Super Tuesday on March the 15th.
And that's when Florida's in play at the winter takeoff state.
He leads there by 20 points over Marco Rubio.
I mean, that's it.
I mean, I think it's over now.
But if there was any question about it, it'll be settled then.
And, you know, this is something, I'm glad you asked me that, Sam, because I do love being proven right.
And, you know, we were there with the press tonight, but really, it should be people like me and you and our crew and our teams that are on there in front or as the faces of CNN and Fox and NPR, because I can tell you that every prediction I've made since before the Iowa caucus has come to pass.
And it's just so satisfying.
Everybody said Trump would do horribly with Christians.
I said, you know what?
That's not what I'm hearing, and that's not what I feel.
And then sure enough, he's exit poll show.
He's carrying evangelicals, carrying really everything, but every demographic subgroup that they've got, he's won it.
I don't think there's anything he's lost to anybody.
And, you know, these are all things that we predicted on this program.
And all people have to do is go back the last couple of months and listen.
And it's just right there.
I think we have had a better track record of predicting how things would play out up until this point than anybody else out there on any of the competing networks.
And I think that will continue.
What do you think is going to happen to the other candidates?
Who do they think is going to bow out next?
Do you think, for example, Chris Christie joining the Trump campaign?
That's pretty interesting when a candidate drops out, then quickly endorses and jumps on the campaign trail.
How many times has that happened?
Well, I mean, obviously, there's something in it for Christie.
I mean, he very well may be sincere.
I'm not saying he's not.
And it's just completely out of political opportunism.
But I think he'll be taken care of.
And he should, frankly, he should be taken care of because he's doing something to help Trump.
And, you know, that's the way politics go.
You know, as long as Trump doesn't compromise his positions in order to get the support of Cruz for what it's or rather, Christie, if Christie came over legitimately, then let him do that and then reward him later somehow.
That won't be, you know, again, contradictory to the platform that you're running on.
You know, obviously, there's no reason for John Kasich and Ben Carson to be in the race at this point.
Either of them could drop out or they may just continue on in vain.
And as far as Rubio and Cruz, you know, Sam, I really can't say.
I think they have just as weak of a shot as Kasich or Carson, unless their plan is to somehow just stay in there and dogfight it to the bitter end.
But, I mean, at some point, if you're going to be the nominee, you've got to win a state.
And Cruz won Iowa narrowly.
And we know about the dirty tricks that were in play there.
And I said Trump may very narrowly lose Iowa, but that would be the last time.
And that he would go on to win New Hampshire and South Carolina.
And sure enough, that happened.
And then Nevada.
And then now he's poised for a very big, he's going to have a Super Tuesday.
Let's put it that way.
So, you know, other than Cruz winning Iowa barely, and he's faded fast since then, Rubio's won nothing.
How do you expect to win a nomination if you can't carry a single state?
And he's not poised.
He doesn't lead in any of the polls, talking about Rubio going into Tuesday, except for a one or two point lead in Minnesota, which is a very state that doesn't have very many delegates at all.
So I just don't see really where they're planning on him to go, especially now that there's dissension in the ranks of the establishment.
This is just more fuel for Trump.
Now, it's kind of interesting.
Chris Christie is a pretty liberal insider guy to be endorsing Trump.
It makes you kind of wonder if what Donald Trump's real plan is to start showing the people that had put in his cabinet, but not necessarily announce the details, but gain support from them first.
You know what?
Bush already dropped out too.
Maybe he'll wind up somewhere, huh?
I would doubt that he would start stacking his cabinet with people that he went after so savagely.
He and Christie never had really that much of a rancorous relationship on the campaign trail.
Now, I don't really like much about Christie at all.
I'll be honest about that.
But what I do like about him, I do like his personality in some regards in that he is also a fighter.
And he really scored some points with me in his takedown of Rubio in the last debate that Christie participated in, where he mocked his robotic, canned, pre-programmed answers.
And his stock rose with me a little bit.
Obviously, I enjoy the fact that he has endorsed Trump.
I'm not going to lie about that or pretend that I don't.
But overall, policy-wise, no, I mean, there's not much I have in common with Christie.
But hey, you know what?
If somebody who apparently disagreed with me on a lot of things wants to support me, that is not the same thing as me supporting them.
If for some reason, you know, we had a big money donor to cut a check to the political festival.
As long as we're not sacrificing, we've had opportunities before where that happened, but we had to sacrifice our principles and our issues.
And I turned down the money.
And that's happened a couple of times.
It would have really been something that moved the needle substantially.
So we're not for sale, but I'm just saying, if somebody wants to support me, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'm selling out because I accept their support.
Does that make sense, Sam?
I think it does.
The next question becomes Hillary bound.
Are Hillary and Trump going to consider themselves the nominees, even though they don't really have it yet?
But yet they're winning so much so, if you will, that hey, they'll just consider themselves the nominees early and start taking pot shots at each other more than they have already.
I think you will see this campaign transition more into a general election type atmosphere.
I think that the primary, the writing on the wall is just about there.
I think Keith Alexander had the line a couple of weeks ago that unless they find Trump in bed with a live boy or a dead woman, that's about the only thing that's going to knock him off the track.
Well, there's already allegations by a bunch of women now that are Trump supporting women that are claiming that Marco Rubio is gay now.
I'm not so sure that I believe it.
I haven't seen credible reports of it, but it's all over the news now.
Well, I'll tell you this.
If he's not, he's missing a great opportunity.
I mean, he's definitely very effective and very effeminate.
And I mean, he obviously has a wife and he has children, but he wouldn't be the first homosexual to pull off that balancing act.
I guess bisexual would be technically what he is.
Who knows?
I mean, if he is, it just gives me more reason to be opposed to him.
But, you know, I don't, you know, that's hearsay.
That's, you know, unless it's something out there, a smoking gun.
I mean, it really doesn't matter.
I guess it would hurt him on the margins, but, you know, we have plenty of reasons to be opposed to a Rubio candidacy without going into the gossip rag.
So we'll just let whatever the truth is there, I think will be irrelevant after it's all said and done anyway.
Now, I will say this.
The two people that Trump has been the most polite to and have been the most polite to him on the campaign trail have been Chris Christie and Ted Cruz.
Now, I know that they've taken off the gloves lately for Ted Cruz and Trump.
Is there any way to repair that?
And might you get a bow out and an endorsement from a Cruz?
You know, I don't think so.
Not at this point.
I think it's gotten, I think literally, there are things that can take a life of their own and evolve.
And it wasn't premeditated.
There was a chance, I think, that Cruz could have been Trump's vice presidential nominee.
But I think somebody in Cruz's camp convinced him that he could actually be the president himself.
And so he took the gloves off.
I don't think the way they established these other standards, I don't think there's any way to repair that relationship.
I'm not saying I would have wanted Cruz to be his VP.
I'm just saying it seemed as though, because you're right, for so long on the campaign field here until the recent week, they were complimentary of each other.
Not only did they not attack each other, they were complimentary.
I think Cruz could have positions himself well to be the vice president.
And then, if things go well, perhaps the president eight years.
All right, quick pause.
We'll find out more in seconds.

As the United States boldly stepped forward in the glorious light provided by its new constitution in 1787, the nations of the earth were in awe of the newfound strength and hope of this free land.
Today, the nation stands at a crossroads.
A divergence from the original intent put forth in the United States Constitution has brought grave threats to our beloved nation.
A miracle is needed if the United States is to survive.
That miracle is again the pure application of the United States Constitution.
I'm Scott Bradley.
In my To Preserve the Nation book and lecture series, I bring forth truths that will help raise up a new generation of statesmen like those noble Americans who founded this land.
Vigorous application of these principles will invigorate and restore the nation, and we may become again the freest, most prosperous, most respected, and happiest nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com to begin that restoration.
Welcome back.
To get on the show, call us on James's Dime at 1-866-986-6397.
You know, sadly, when Donald Trump's around, ladies and gentlemen, it's very difficult to talk about anything else.
He just controls the narrative, creates contrast and dissonance like you wouldn't believe.
But at the same time, he knows when and how to push far enough, but not too far.
And as a result, nobody can quit talking about it.
That's kind of the sad thing.
There are other things and other people to talk about of great importance, ladies and gentlemen, that have had a tremendous effect on not only our lives, but on the political cesspool talk show, James.
Well, Sam, you're absolutely right.
And I want to say again, before we transition away from Trump, Super Tuesday on Tuesday, you live in one of those states, folks.
Get out and vote.
I'll be voting on Tuesday.
I'll even put a picture of myself casting a ballot on the website, thepoliticalfestful.org.
And I want to thank Sam again.
If we run out of time before the end of this segment, which is our last of the evening, I want to thank Sam again for anchoring the program tonight so we could be out here live and on the scene.
But Sam, what you said a moment ago was so right.
And I want to wrap the show up tonight on a much more personal note and remind the audience, and we never forget our brothers and we never forget our fallen comrades.
But it was this week, exactly three years ago, that Bill Rowland was called home by the Lord.
Bill passed away on February the 25th, 2013, and he had battled cancer for a couple of years.
And that battle came to an end on the morning of February 25th, 2013.
It was a devastating loss for us in the political festival.
He was one of my very best friends in life, largely responsible for the development and cultivation of the show from its inception.
He was with us since day one.
He co-hosted with me on a regular basis, but always my right hand behind the scenes, even if he wasn't with me on a particular week on the air, although he often was.
I talked to him at length every week for nearly 10 years and rarely made a decision without seeking his counsel.
And whatever value I may have as a leader in this cause is due in large part to Bill's friendship and advice and his impact on me personally and the radio program specifically cannot be overstated.
And even though it's been three years now, since I served as a pallbearer laying him to rest, we want to remember him tonight because he truly was one of the finest men I've ever known.
And Sam Dixon wrote this, that he was truly noble, sound, intelligent, tactful, polite, and brave.
Sam wrote that Bill Rowland was one of the rare few who had suffered to lose, but was willing to stand up anyway, as well as even one of the rarer and fewer who have done so while being an all-American family man with a wife and two wonderful children.
You know, the loss, Sam, of Bill still hurts.
It's still one, you know, there's a void there that won't be replaced.
I think of him often, but we soldier on.
But I do know this: Bill Rowland would have savored every second of everything we've done in the last three years.
And I do believe he's still up there in heaven and he's looking over us.
He's watching.
He's happy about what we've done.
I can tell you he would have savored every second of our 10-year anniversary celebration in 2014.
He would have considered the day that we were denounced by Congress last year to be our most significant triumph.
And he would have been at awe at our rally in defense of Nathan Veteran Force last summer, which drew more than 500 people.
Those are just three of the significant moments that we've experienced since Bill went to be with his savior.
But I'll tell you another thing, Sam, and no doubt about it.
He would have been with us tonight in that hangar, and it would have been something to be there with him.
You know, James, I kind of want to say we'll miss Bill, but I really want to make sure that whenever we talk about those who have passed on, I want to mention our belief as Christians that, you know what, because Christ lives again, so does Bill Rowland.
And I personally have an internal belief that, you know what, he's fighting more for the principles that we stand for now there with God than he is here with us.
And even though we miss him, he still is actively engaged in all the things that he held dear.
And I never want to lose sight of that point.
Well, men remember their brothers.
And, you know, family is one of the words we always go back to when we describe the relationships that we have with each other and with our audience.
And I think he would have been very proud Bill would have of all we've done in his absence from beyond this earthly realm.
He's still part of our fabric and shares in all that we do.
He had a lasting impact on this radio program, and it'll continue to be felt as long as we're on the air.
I put up a picture of Bill on the website.
Actually, the only post we put up on February 25th was an ode to Bill, a remembrance of Bill, a tribute to Bill, and a picture of us together at an event in Mississippi a few years ago, and a video of me and Bill inside the radio studio where I would be tonight if I hadn't been on the road.
And so that's all up there at thepoliticalfestival.org tonight.
But I wanted to, it's very important to me that on the show nearest the anniversary of his passing that we remind the audience of those who have fought before us and gone before us too.
All right.
It's important also to talk about some of the future shows that are planned.
Obviously, we'll keep a handle on the Trump campaign and report on Super Tuesday coming up, et cetera.
But there's a lot of broadcasts planned for 2016 for the Political Festival, right?
Oh, this year, this year, Sam, I mean, Scoop told me a few weeks ago, Scoop wasn't able to call in tonight because of Wolf or else he would have been calling in also.
He told me earlier, we've already filled, you know, we do a top 10 recap of the top 10 moments of the Political Festival in any given broadcast year around Christmastime.
And he says we've already filled the top 10 this year.
And I don't know what position what we did tonight will place, but it will certainly be on the top 10.
And there's still a lot of programming left.
I mean, we are still in February, if you can believe it.
There's a lot of months left in this year.
I want to say one more thing about the fans of the Political Festival.
And as I've mentioned a couple of times tonight, I had the opportunity to randomly run into a few this evening.
And it was just a great experience.
But I got a letter in the mail from a man born in the 1920s who listens to this show.
And he lives in rural Missouri.
And he listens to this show.
And he sent in a letter, handwritten, saying that he enjoys our show, never misses a broadcast, but he's lost hope and that we've given him hope.
And so I sent him a copy of my book.
And I got something in the mail yesterday.
A listener from Panama, not Panama City, Florida, but the country of Panama in South America sent me a very nice card and a bunch of Panamanian coffee as a gift.
And so we'll have to share that with Eddie.
And I want to thank that gentleman at Eastern End tonight.
All the way down in Panama, we have friends and listeners, and it's just incredible.
And we're calling on all of them to stand with us because without you, ladies and gentlemen, we don't exist.
And as I mentioned just a moment ago, and I want to get this out there again, we'll give you more details on the website this week and certainly more on the program next week.
But the first quarter fundraising drive is now upon us.
And don't forget, you're not just helping the political festival, you're also helping Liberty News Radio Network itself because we always kick back a percentage of what we take in.
The four months out of the year that we hold these fundraising drives are responsible for getting us through the other eight months, which are quite lean.
And so if you want to go ahead, it officially starts on Monday, but I'll go ahead and start counting any contributions that come in this evening towards that.
And essentially, we can't stop now.
I mean, you know, talking about Donald Trump, you know, a major media outlet a few weeks ago listed us as one of the quote unquote top 20 right-wing media outlets responsible for boosting Donald Trump's nomination.
We were listed alongside Ann Colcher, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin, Bill O'Reilly, and others.
So even the people who hate us now admit that what we're doing is impacting presidential politics.
That is incredible.
We can't stop.
Please contribute so that we can continue.
And you'll get some great incentives as well.
Everything adds up.
Most of the contributions we get range between $25 and $100.
$100 is a pretty sizable contribution for us.
If you can give more of those, please do.
Listen to this show tonight and understand how impactful your support is.
But whatever.
Now, James, I've got a little tidbit that I meant to talk to you in private about, or I wanted to talk to you in private about, but I'll just kind of give a little hint here since it's your fundraising drive.
Liberty News Radio is thinking about running some advertisements on some billboards in the middle in the heart of Missouri on some of the biggest interstates in the country.
And those are the kind of things that we contemplate using our, meaning the people and our listeners, our money for, James.
Sam, that would be incredible because I'm telling you, Missouri is our country.
We have a lot of people in Missouri, a lot of fans in Missouri.
And of course, that's where Copperhead is.
So, yeah, any way we can get the message out by any means necessary, let's do it.
And do tell me more about that.
Do tell me more about that off the air and what we can do to be a part of that and to play a role in it.
I know we have only a minute left, Sam.
And I hope I'm not cutting you off, but Eddie wanted to say one last parting shot.
Please, that's perfect.
Hang on.
Here he is.
The Bombardier.
And if I don't get a chance to talk to you again, ladies and gentlemen, I'll talk to you next week.
It's been a great show.
Thanks for tuning in.
Not quite done yet.
Here's Eddie.
Godspeed, James.
People, I'm just going to say, I can't stress how important it is that we do do away with the Federal Reserve.
Donald Trump is the only candidate that said he's going to run the fed.
That's not good enough, but there's a great start.
We can get rid of it.
I'm telling you people, I don't care who gets elected president.
If we do not get rid of the Federal Reserve and go back to an honest money system controlled by the Congress, this country will be completely destroyed.
I promise you that.
That's the number one issue right now.
And with that, I'm going to talk back to James.
I just want to get that last parting shot in.
That was something, Sam, I'm sure you've covered on your program, too.
I'm glad Eddie actually brought that up because that's something important that's been in the news recently that really hasn't gotten as much play as I think it should.
Right out of Ron Paul's playbook, whether or not he's serious or not, I guess we'll find out.
Yeah, one of the greatest ways to get rid of the Federal Reserve, James, is to create gold and silver as constitutional coinage again.
Let competing currencies start out and let good money chase out the bad.
And I don't know if you know, but in the state of Utah, we actually have gold and silver as legal tender now.
That's already been accomplished in the state of Utah.
If Trump wants to help us roll it across the United States, we're ready, sir.
Well, hey, change could be coming in a big way, Sam.
And if it is, we want to be a part of it.
And I think you go with anybody else in the establishment, you know what's going to happen.
It's the definition of insanity.
How many times have we elected a mainstream establishment, Republican or Democrat, only to be hoodwinked?
Hey, thanks, James.
Hey, good night, everybody.
