Time Text
You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, folks, third and final hour tonight.
It's going to be hard to top the last couple of segments where we played the clip from Jared and then had Richard on.
Richard, what a great job.
Richard Spencer and Jared Taylor.
Tough act to follow, but if anybody can do it, it's yours truly.
And Sam Bushman.
Sam Bushman going to be with me for the entire third hour tonight.
Both Eddie the Bombardier Miller and Keith Alexander were late minute, last-minute scratches, I should say.
And that's okay.
They'll be back with us next week, but the show must go on.
And Sam is going to help me pull this one into completion.
We've got a good hour full of hot topics and really an assortment.
But we're going to be starting.
I guess I should tell you, remind you, if you don't know what day it is, I don't either.
Let me wait until the calendar comes up.
Saturday, September 12th, and we're live here in Memphis and going out to the AMFM affiliates of the Liberty News Radio Network, Simulcasting Online, where we're right there close to the top 10 again online.
We normally nestle there by the third hour anyway.
ThepoliticalSesspool.org, LibertyNewsRadio.com.
We're going to be talking about the presidential politics here for a couple of segments.
Sam's got some good stories.
But first, Donald Trump, again, you know, I've been voting since 1998.
And I was born in 80, started voting when I was 18.
I voted in every cycle.
Never before, at least in my voting life, have I seen such political pageantry that Trump has brought to that.
Tops of all the polls.
Once again, topping all the polls.
Now beating Clinton head-to-head for the first time, I think, in the last week.
He's went ahead of her.
And I've got this thing on my phone that updates me with the latest poll numbers.
And I watch that pretty regularly.
And I know that we shouldn't get too excited about presidential politics.
Really, the most important thing is stuff that affects you locally, in your community, on a county level, maybe on a statewide level.
We should remember that.
But, you know, presidential politics is the big production.
And so we all invest a little more effort and interest in that than, again, we probably should.
But nevertheless, I'm enjoying what Trump has brought to the table from an entertainment perspective, in addition to some of the others, certainly his immigration stuff.
But I love watching him respond to the media and just treat them with this contempt.
They're talking about how Carly Fiorina's surging.
And Trump answered that.
He says she's surging.
She's at 3%.
He's leading the field by like double-digit margins, but she's the one that's surging.
Ben Carson's surging.
Hey, listen, if every black in America was like Ben Carson, there wouldn't be very much racial tension at all.
I wish that was the case.
But as far as a presidential candidate, he's got all the charisma of a mortician.
He's this year's Alan Keyes, this year's Herman Cain.
Nice guy.
He's probably not going to be going far.
But they bring this up.
And though, the big news is, of course, coming up is that the next debate is on Wednesday.
And with that, I bring in the man who will be co-hosting with me for the remainder of the show, Sam Bushman.
And Sam, I've been wanting to have you on to talk about presidential politics for a few weeks now.
So really start anywhere you'd like.
Is it the debate?
What do you foresee coming up?
Look into your oracle.
Give us a look ahead to what we might expect on Wednesday night.
And we'll certainly be covering that next week and on the website in the meantime.
Or is there any other aspects of the presidential politics on either side of the aisle?
Well, first off, it doesn't matter who gets elected, James, because they're only one person.
And you would say they have tremendous power, but they only have tremendous power if they're an insider and they go along with the insider's agenda.
And unless they're willing to combat the Supreme Court, they might as well not even run.
That's a great point.
But even if they are willing to combat the Supreme Court, they would lose.
And here's the bottom line.
You know, even Ronald Reagan tried to come in.
He used to be a Democrat.
He was supposedly the Republican of Republicans.
He got elected, was forced to take George Bush Sr. as his running mate as kind of a compromise.
He got a little bit bold, said a couple of things, did a couple of things, and, well, he just kind of got shot.
And some would say, well, that's a conspiracy theory, Sam.
It had nothing to do with it.
It was just some whacked out guy.
But the reality is his presidency had a marked change after that.
And the reality is, I'm not doubting Reagan.
He did a lot of good.
I know he's supposedly the conservative of modern era.
The fact is we had a ran-contra, drug trade, money trade, gun trade going on under his watch.
We had all kinds of vaccine bills.
We had vaccine bills that went on under his watch that forced us all to pay for vaccines and pretend they're safe and effective.
He then granted amnesty.
I mean, it goes on and on.
And I'm not doubting Reagan, but I'm making a point that even a good guy can't change the game by themselves, not even maybe.
And so with that, I say, you know, we're all excited about Donald Trump.
And from an entertainment point of view, you're absolutely spot on.
It's absolutely fun to watch.
From a policy change point of view, number one, we don't even know what his policies are.
Number two, you know what?
He was against abortion before he was, I mean, he was a pro-abortion before he was against it.
He was, you know, loved the media because he, you know what, bought into all their games before he was against them.
And on one hand, he tries to down people because of certain things.
So he'll say, ah, the media, they're a bunch of media whores.
I've paid them all off.
Okay, but then you're the pimp.
Go ahead, Donald.
Good luck.
Oh, man, these people don't have any faith.
Look at Ben Carson.
He was a pro-abortion guy and didn't have any faith before.
Okay, Donald, but you're the same, right?
And we go right on down the list.
And so I think it's entertaining to watch.
But the reality is Trump on policy positions is a disaster.
And I'll give you an example.
Trump is the guy that wants to force a government, federal, E-Verify database and force employers to dance to the tune of the federal government on who they can hire and then force everyone, virtually in the world almost, to be part of that database or be dubbed what?
A special treated illegal alien?
So it's almost as if the database would down the American citizen and promote anybody who's not because that's what's being done right now.
Give them a database with ultimate control and it'll be absolutely worse.
So he wants to promote E-Verify.
A lot of what he says is common sense, but that E-Verify is the nail in the coffin for me.
But it gets worse because then Donald Trump is the one that said, you know what, Kim Davis is out of control.
Kim Davis needs to obey the law.
My response, Mr. Trump, what law are we talking about here?
And so Donald did not stand up for Kim Davis.
He fumbled.
Sam, he fumbled on that.
He really laid it down the middle.
He said that he understands and respects her thing, but that she's got to obey the law of the land, which, of course, as we know, and we proved it beyond any shadow of a doubt with Perutka's commentary in the first hour that the Supreme Court is not at all the law of the land.
And I say with Trump, yes, I mean, there's no doubt about it that you can find things with which we can disagree.
And I know that you certainly have not been as enthusiastic as you can.
But I would ask one question.
What solid policy position, constitutionally speaking, does Trump hold?
Well, I'd say immigration because he's promoting, one, E-Verify, and two, he's not promoting an operational wetback, which was done under the Eisenhower administration, which would be to send them back.
He hasn't gone that far yet.
Well, you know, he's gone further than, as far as I can tell, anyone else, at least on immigration.
And as I said in the past, we've been covering Trump, you know, pretty regularly here for the last four or five weeks.
If you can give me something on immigration and your disdain of political correctness, that probably puts you ahead of the field.
That's not to say that Trump is so good as to say that the field is so bad.
Except for he's been in bed with the political correctness for decades.
But who then, other than Trump, Sam, would you say would be worthy of consideration for my audience or yours?
James Edwards.
Right before the break.
I mean, where's the rib shot on that one?
We got to take a break.
We're going to be back.
A lot more with Sam Bushman.
We're going to talk about Rick Perry dropping out.
We're going to talk about Carly Fiorina, the debates that's coming up.
That's going to be must-watch television.
And then we're going to go into some other topics as this hour rolls on.
Stay tuned.

And now back to tonight's show.
All right, folks, if you think you can handle it, before this segment is over, Sam Bushman, who is filling in for Sam Bushman, can fill in for two guys.
That's how good he is.
He's filling in for both Keith and Eddie tonight.
They're the first hour of the day.
I'm dropping bombs and delivering scholarly content.
How's that?
It's the best of both with Sam.
And before this segment's over, we're going to talk about Rick Perry dropping out Carly Fi Arena and the forthcoming debate.
But first, Sam, a final word on Trump.
And I got an email in from Jim Smith.
He's a regular listener who emails quite often.
He writes, that I've been excited about Trump, but now the other shoe has dropped.
Video from O'Reilly last night, and he sent me the link where Trump endorses the Middle Eastern refugees, so-called refugees, being allowed into the U.S.
And of course, we were talking about that for the second half of the second hour with Jared Taylor, Innabstinia, and Richard Spencer.
So, I mean, there's a lot that you could, if you're not going to be able to do that.
He's not really.
He's not really genuine on immigration is the point in forcing me as a business owner to jump to the federal government's E-Verify unconstitutional database is absolutely unacceptable.
But my goal isn't really to down Trump.
My goal is to document that.
We don't really know where he stands on hardly anything, even with his fleshed out immigration white paper.
We don't.
We don't know what he stands for.
He was for everything before he was against it.
I mean, he was against everything before he was for it.
I mean, he was in bed with them before he was not in bed with them, and he loved the mainstream press before he hated them.
And you don't really have any clue at all where the Donald stands on anything.
And that's my point is that at some degree, you know, biblically speaking, they say don't go after the harlot Jezebel.
It almost seems like, you know, Donald Trump is kind of the Jezebel.
He's got a really great, politically speaking, a really great body and a really great face and really great and welcoming, loving delivery.
But you're going to get schnookered, folks.
Write it down and remember who told you first.
And so I'm not against Donald Trump, but I do believe that Christians, that God-fearing Americans, should focus on principle, not politics.
And that's why my counterpoint is that James Edwards would be a great man to vote for for president.
Because you know what?
You get the true blue.
When you deal with James, you get an honest person.
You get somebody who puts principle of politics, freedom above fortune, morality above it all.
God, family, and country, life, liberty, and property in their proper perspective with their proper weighted realities of importance in America.
And the truth of the matter is here, folks, you don't need to chase after Jezebel.
What you need to do is stand on principle.
And there's several reasons to vote for a candidate for president.
Most people think it's just a winner-lose deal.
And I disagree.
You vote for a person because you want to stand on principle.
My vote's not for sale.
And I'm not here to decide who wins or loses.
I'm only one guy with one vote.
But I am here to set the moral standard.
I am here to raise the bar.
I am here to deliver the best of my ability what God would want me to deliver.
What my family, my wife, what my children would depend upon me as an honest Christian man to deliver.
And that's not up for sale.
And that's not up for entertainment.
And that's not up for Jezebel.
And that's not up for anybody except for me to stand with my God and with my wife and my family and to stand for God, family, and country and equivocate never.
And so I want to make this very clear that when I vote for James Edwards, it's not about winning because he wouldn't win, but neither will Trump.
It's about standing on principle.
It's about educating the American people.
Okay?
I don't want to hate.
I want to educate.
It's not about caving.
hoping my guy will win, saying I'll vote for the lesser of evils or anything like that.
It's about saying, I am going to stand on the principles that our founders gave their blood for.
They gave their fortunes and their sacred honor for, James, and I will not jettison them, bar none, and I will stand for people with principle, even if they have no chance on the green earth to win.
At least I can say they're honest, they're good, they're wise, and I will not compromise my vote.
So it's about education.
It's about standing with principle.
It is about if enough Americans had the guts, the integrity to do the same, James Edwards could win.
Well, I'm grinning ear from ear in the studio tonight.
And actually, with my last birthday in June, I am now old enough to run for president.
I'm finally 35.
You got to run the cesspool party is what I think.
Hey, Rick dropped out.
There's room for you now, sir.
Rick Perry just dropped out.
He can't handle it anymore.
Well, this is the thing.
You know, I'm still a lot more bullish on Trump than you are.
You know, Jim Smith, who I was reading his email from, Trump's been all good up until now, but we need to sober up.
And he writes to your credit, James, you've warned of this possibility all along.
Listen, I'm still planning on voting for Trump, and I'm still excited about the Trump candidacy because of the contempt that he treats the media.
You mentioned, though, Sam, that you don't think he's going to win.
I don't want to digress here because I do want to talk about Perry immediately, but what will they do to Trump between now and then if you think that their objective is to derail him, which certainly I believe the establishment Republicans would love to do, Karl Rove and the like.
What do you think is going to come up that could possibly, possibly derail Trump?
I mean, the people seem to be just eating up every so-called controversy just feeds him like water on a gremlin.
Well, right now it does because the mainstream press wants it to.
And I know many would say, no, Sam, the mainstream press hates his guts.
Look at Megan Kelly.
And come on.
No, it's all political theater, ladies and gentlemen.
These are the people that he spent the last 30 years in bed with.
They're not really on the outs, or they wouldn't give him an inch of coverage.
Okay?
You got to think through it and say, you know what?
They really hate him, but they're just going to give him all this free coverage to the tune of millions and millions and millions of dollars.
See, I'm not buying it.
If they really wanted to shut him out, they'd give him the coverage that they're giving James Edwards and Sam Bushman, which is the resounding sound of silence.
Simon and Garfield.
Well, not so much silence.
I mean, we certainly get their contempt.
I mean, you know, but not enough to matter.
They're giving this guy wall-to-wall coverage on issues that aren't even related to principle of the political discussion at hand.
You can't tell me five items where you know where Trump stands and what he'd do as president.
You can't do it.
Yeah, but here's my thing on that, Sam.
Now, you're right.
Ultimately, I mean, but that could be said about anybody, I think.
I think we've got to vote for Jezebel for president.
That could be said for any candidate, though.
I can guarantee you, if somebody, if one of these insiders gets in again, if it's Bush, if it's one of the others, you're guaranteed to lose.
You're guaranteed to lose.
We know that by it's incontrovertible.
You're going to lose if you go with one of these establishment guys.
So with Trump, yeah, you don't know for sure.
I wouldn't bet my life on it.
I wouldn't bet my salvation, but I think there's a slim chance.
At least he's turning down the money.
Certainly he doesn't need it.
But I mean, there's some things there.
Obviously, we're having a not a disagreement.
It's like telling me that Nicodemus is different than the money changer.
It's a tempered discussion we're having here.
And I think between the two of us, we cover both sides.
But here's another thing I like about Trump getting back to Rick Perry dropping out.
So Rick Perry drops out.
He's the first one to tap out officially.
And he does this speech, which is obviously his concession speech is obviously a big barb at Trump.
He says we need to refrain from nativist politics.
And nativists is really, you know, it's basically a polite way of calling Trump a racist because he wants to secure the border.
Obviously, he's racist.
Well, Trump was on Fox and Friends this morning.
He wants to secure the border, except for from the refugees.
Well, I mean, that's again.
You don't only need a water, my friend.
You got to let the swimming pool, buddy, and you want to go swimming.
Douche.
And like Jim Smith said in the email, we've pointed this out.
I mean, he's not flawless by any stretch.
To be better than the field is not to be good.
It's just to be better than the field.
But the thing with Perry, he was saying, you know, a nativist.
And I wake up at about five o'clock every morning.
My son never lets me sleep.
I don't think I've slept in.
I can't remember when.
But I was up early this morning and Trump was on Fox and Friends Saturday morning this morning.
I was watching it.
They said, you know, he called you a nativist.
What do you make of that?
And Trump said something along the lines that I would say.
He said, you know, does Rick Perry even know what a nativist is?
And he didn't.
He just completely dismissed it.
You know, what's the definition?
You know, he doesn't understand.
He's going to secure the border.
He's going to make America great.
He's going to build a wall.
But again, the whole discussion has nothing to do with what you could do to restore America.
Not a word of it.
Well, you've talked about this a lot on your show.
I mean, you're certainly a damper on, well, not a damper.
And not that we're enthusiastic in terms of, you know, we're just, you know, blindly slobbering over Trump, but you've certainly been a little more even-keeled than even we have.
And I don't think we've been exuberant, but we've just been saying, you know, we're excited about him to the extent that you can be excited about a presidential candidate.
He's still got my vote at the moment.
When we come back, folks, we are going to shift gears, but we still need to work in Carly Fee Arena and look ahead to the debate on Wednesday.
So stay tuned for that.

Well, we've got a fun time tonight.
A good show between Sam Bushman listening to Jared Taylor, interviewing Richard Spencer live.
Scoop, yours truly.
Hard to make up the gap created by Keith and Eddie tonight.
They'll be back next week.
We'll be back at full strength, but a good show I've really enjoyed tonight.
It's fun to have a change of pace from time to time and kind of mix things up on the live broadcast.
And that's what we're doing this evening.
And don't get me wrong, ladies and gentlemen, I'm not selling on Trump.
I'm still high on Trump right now.
A little higher than Sam is apparently, but I'm high on him.
And Sam, before we get into Fear, that's actually another thing I like about Trump is that he's irreverent.
You heard this Rolling Stone magazine.
They're trying to tar him again for mocking physical appearance or something.
That's how normal people talk.
He's relatable almost to that.
But I read one article where they said he's a failed business.
I know.
He's not really a billionaire.
He's a failed business.
He's almost one of us, you know?
Well, somebody actually wrote, somebody actually wrote that he was a failed business.
A major article writes about him being a failed businessman.
That's the kind of failure I want to experience in business, being a multi-billionaire.
But nevertheless, you had a joke before we get into that.
It's kind of like this.
You know, when you go on Google, how you can type in a search phrase and then there's search, but you can also click on buttons.
And it's like, I'm feeling wonderful.
I'm feeling angry.
I'm feeling what's that?
I've actually commented on that because I didn't understand it.
I'm feeling puzzled.
I'm feeling wonderful, whatever.
I'm just saying, I think it's going to next say pretty soon.
I'm feeling like getting duped by Trump.
Uh-oh.
I just think that's kind of like.
You're really trying to reign on the Trump parade that we've had here at TPC.
What I'm trying to get you all to understand is if you think a multi-billionaire that's been in bed with the political establishment and with the media and with the Federal Reserve for his whole life is going to be your friend to fix America, you are absolutely smoking the wrong.
I'm not saying that that's the way it's going to play out.
I'm just saying that I believe of the people that are running, that you have a better chance with him than anybody else.
What if I have a debate on CNN with Donald Trump?
Hey, Sam, if you're not.
He's good.
He's good at the one-shot liners to attack people, but I'm pretty good too.
And I'd like to see what I can say to the Trump.
My first question to Donald Trump would be this.
Do you know anything about constitutional law?
And I would talk to him about the constitutionality of America.
Would Donald Trump be a billionaire if there wasn't a Federal Reserve, if we had honest money in America?
Let me just ask you that question.
Yeah, I mean, well, we know how he answers questions, which has been something that I've approved of thus far.
He would ignore the reality issue that without the fake fiat money system in America, based on dishonesty and fraud, that he would never even be a billionaire.
Not even maybe.
Period.
End of paragraph.
And the failed company's under his bankruptcies.
He gets attacked on that and he says, I use the laws to my advantage.
What's wrong with that?
Everybody does that.
But my response is, without dishonest money, he'd never be where he is today.
Not even maybe.
In fact, he might actually be one of us.
I want to recant something.
Jim Smith, you know, we were reading that email.
I've been out of town.
Jim Smith listening now emails me again, Sam, and writes, within a day or two of sending that original email where he writes that Trump was all for accepting the so-called refugees from Europe, not European refugees, mind you, but the refugees from wherever that have come into Europe.
He writes that Trump appeared on Sean Hannity's show and completely reversed himself.
So clearly you don't know where he stands on anything, buddy.
But I'm telling you, without that fake money, though, he wouldn't be a billionaire.
He wouldn't have been able to compromise all your politicians for their whole lives.
He's not a Sam Bushman.
He's not a James Edwards.
He's not even a Buchanan.
But I agree with Smith, though.
Even if at the risk of perhaps disagreeing with you, Sam, I think he's the best of those that they're allowing to debate, those that they have corrected.
Let's document the proof now that they're going to Trump the Trump.
Are you ready?
CNN just changed the rules and allowed 11 people to participate in the second debate rather than 10 like they previously had planned.
And they graduated Carly Fi Arena to the stage.
Now you're going to have multiple women attacking Trump.
Carly, yeah, she got graduated, right?
She's surging, though, at 3%.
Yeah, she is.
She's on.
She's action, which is actually 3% is actually above about half the people that will be on the street.
She's got as much as old Jeb Bush does.
All right, so she'll be on there.
They've had their – So they've got 11 coming to the CNN stage on Wednesday is the point.
Right.
So what do you expect to see on, you know, Fi Arena?
I mean, what more can you say?
I mean, she's not going anywhere.
She's at 3% because she's a woman.
No, but she'll be at 10% after the debates because she's going to have a couple of firebombs go off, intelligently planned by the mainstream press for political theater and for ratings.
That's why they did it.
Everybody knows if you put Carly in there, Trump's mocked Carly's looks already, mocked her as a failed CEO.
Both of them have got a lot of credit to their name and business savvy to a degree.
But they both failed quite a bit too, but they're both plenty rich.
And the bottom line is they're going to have fireworks between Carly and Donald.
And the rest of the folks are going to be, for the most part, sidelined, sir.
Do you think Rand Paul will get to be a little shizu again and go after Trump's?
It won't do him any good.
Sad to say that right now, Trump is so beloved by the conservatives that, you know what, Rand Paul, anything he says just backfires now.
So Rand is attacking Trump, but Cruz is on Trump.
He's for him, right?
In fact, they're starting to even do some things together.
Trump pointed out, and it's true, I mean, if you believe the polls, and I guess we never believe them unless we agree with them, but he's leading even with the evangelicals.
He's leading really across the board.
He's beating Clinton now in head-to-head.
He would have to take a mighty tumble.
Now, we've seen tumbles happen before, but with the political climate, with people being so jaded against the establishment, I think this could be the perfect storm.
Do you remember the last go-round where they had each candidate surge one at a time?
Yeah, but I think this is different, Sam.
I think this is different.
I say that Carly's starting to surge, and so is Ben Carson.
Now, you can say they're not surging, but the mainstream press took two people you didn't even know before they pushed them.
I'll say three.
Sarah Palin, you didn't know her name before she got pushed.
Bill Clinton, you didn't know his name before he got pushed.
You didn't know the name of Barack Obama before he got pushed.
The mainstream press can make you or break you overnight, my brother.
Without a doubt.
Well, that's true.
The thing that, of course, Trump, Fiorina, and Carson share is that they're all quote-unquote outsiders from a career politician standpoint.
But another thing I like about Trump, though, is the fact that this debate, they inflated the price of advertising for this debate 4,000%.
He said, let's give it to the veterans.
Let's give it away.
CNN is not going to do that.
There's some things, though, that certainly resonate.
Despite it all, despite that, listen, you fall in love with a politician.
They always break your heart.
He would be the first one if he didn't do so.
There's going to be fireworks, I predict, between Carly Fiorina and the Donald.
And Hillary now is starting to say, I'd like to debate Trump.
Well, if she can stay out of jail, she'll get it.
It appears as right now that she's going to get the chance.
Unless somebody can make up 20 percentage points before the spring, she's going to get the debate that she says she wants.
But I can't wait for it, Sam.
I mean, Wednesday night's like a Super Bowl.
I have never been able to get it.
And see, that's the whole point.
The mainstream press loves to take advantage of Trump to get this done.
Just so you'll just be riveted, my friend.
I got to just hang out with Jezebel as long as you need to, buddy.
Make them rich.
And you're good to go.
Now, by the way, not only does Hillary want to debate the Trump now, but on the trail, Marco Rubio has missed the most votes of any senator confirms USA Today.
So Marco Rubio is not even taking his senatorial responsibility seriously anymore.
He's too busy running around.
Okay.
That's what you mean by vote.
Well, he's not voting.
He's just on the campaign trail.
Well, I mean, he's not doing either job very well if you look at his poll numbers.
Apparently.
Now, Trump slams Ben Carson.
Isn't that the kettle calling the pot black?
Just wondering.
Is there a pun in there, Sam?
No, I'm just wondering if they're both the same.
Now, if you're going to make a racial coming out of it, then maybe, you know, I don't know.
I'm just saying that what's Trump slamming Ben Carson about?
Abortion?
Well, both of them were pro-abortion before they were against it.
Well, you know, Ben Carson actually apologized.
That was also played this morning.
I can't remember exactly what the fracas was between Carson said something, Trump fired back, and then Carson literally, and in no uncertain terms, apologized for whatever he said about Trump.
And what was it?
Do you know?
Well, I don't know the exact words that were exchanged, but it was about abortion because, see, Trump said that Carson isn't really a man of faith.
He was pro-abortion.
He's this, he's that.
He's not who you think he is.
And then Carson fired back about Trump, and that's kind of why I bring up the pop calling the kettle black.
It's not a racial discussion here.
It's just saying they're two peas in a pod.
They're both pro-abortion.
They're both very liberal, and they have been for a long time.
And this so-called conservative bent that they're on, you know, people are running around going, Sam, don't you believe people can repent and change?
Oh, yeah, Donald's like the repentant type, buddy.
He's down on his sackcloth and ashes, isn't he?
Come on.
I do believe people can't.
Listen, I do believe people can evolve.
And if they can't, then what do we do?
I agree.
But if you're going to evolve and be against abortion, then why don't you put your billions of dollars into the pro-life fight, Donald?
Let's go.
All right.
All right.
I'm not against him.
I'm not going to say Donald's one of those.
But you can't have the point only for political reasons, not back it with time and energy and money and effort.
You can't do it with just political stage campaigning.
You've got to do it really, for reals, right?
Hey, Sam, you know, with me and you not running, you're not going to get unless you write me in, which I'd welcome.
It doesn't sound like you're going to vote for Trump.
Not a chance.
Because I'll tell you this.
Who has he not attacked?
Are you going to vote in the Republican primary?
Maybe.
It depends on who's there.
Well, I mean, I think we know who's there now.
Maybe somebody else will announce.
They'd be getting in late, but you never know.
You certainly never know.
We've got to take a break.
We'll leave that an open-ended question.
You know where Trump's, where Sam stands.
You know where we stand.
And I think most of the Cesspool audience is probably somewhere in the middle there.
When we come back, we're going to change gears.
Sam has two great stories that we want to get to you before the end of the night.
Stay tuned.

I was talking to Sam during the commercial break, and this is always the case.
If there's one thing where our audience will split, it's about who to vote for.
And, you know, we're in agreement on all the principles, all the core issues.
But when it comes time to vote, you know, there's so many different strategies in play.
I know some of our people do like I do.
They always vote third party when it comes to the general election.
They vote their conscience.
Some people will vote for the Republicans for the lesser of two evils reasons.
Some people will vote for the Democrat because they just want to hasten the downfall.
And I'm sure there's a lot of people who are.
And some people, like the libertarians, just say you guys can all vote in your wasteland of election tampering.
And I'm just going to ignore that and focus on the things that really matter.
I have little faith that the votes counted right.
Another good point.
But nevertheless, I still exercise my right to vote.
I asked this one hardcore libertarian, almost pouring on an anarchist.
I said, what's the difference between a libertarian and an anarchist?
He goes, oh, a couple of election cycles.
There you go.
There you go.
My point is, you know, and I can change my mind.
You know, a lot's going to happen before Tennessee gets to vote in the primaries next spring.
But right now, I'm still in with Trump.
Sam, not so much.
But everybody gets to decide.
That's the thing about it.
We're all in agreement here, but we don't all have to vote for the same person to be brothers.
But Sam's got two great topics here.
I want to shift gears here.
We're going to continue to talk, Trump.
We're going to talk about the debates as well after Wednesday.
But yes, Sam, Brian Williams is reservist.
Remind everybody that the controversy with Brian Williams and where he landed.
This is too good.
The bottom line is this guy just flat out lied.
Okay, he flat out delivered fraudulent realities.
He made up stories.
He pretended he was places that he really wasn't.
He pretended he did and said things that never happened.
And he got caught lying.
And people started the drumbeat to get rid of him.
And the mainstream press tried to keep him.
But you know what?
The drumbeat was so loud they had to let him go.
But now they say Brian Williams to return to TV news on MSNBC on September 22nd.
He's back.
On MSNBC, no less.
Yes.
And so somebody like Pat Buchanan is gone forever because he's a racist, but Brian can lie and deceive the public and just months later be put back in as a position of authority.
That's such a good contrast, Sam, because I remember when Pat last came on our show to promote suicide of a superpower, and he ended up getting booted from his position with MSNBC.
He was on MSNBC.
They were the ones, of all people, that would have him.
That's very, it really defies logic.
But nevertheless, he ended up getting booted.
And I got in touch with Pat after that.
I said, man, I hope you coming on my show again didn't do that to you.
He said, no, don't worry about it, James.
That's just an example or exhibit 487 in the case against Buchanan.
But you're right.
I mean, the point is, he's gone forever.
He still pops up here and there, but not regularly.
Now, Brian Williams is going to get back in the game in a big way.
I mean, we talk about the media being biased and dishonest.
I mean, there's no more dishonest than complete fabrication.
And this is what this guy obviously did more than once.
It's beyond imagination.
And what lie did Pat Buchanan tell?
What dishonesty did he get caught in?
The answer is not a single one.
In fact, Pat's been one of the most reliable people to deliver quality content that I know of for decades.
Well, and of course, in addition to that, I mean, he is a legitimate journalist.
I mean, that's what he was.
And he was a guy that's not a celebrity talking head.
I mean, he was a guy, unlike so many that we see, that that was his profession before he got in, of course, with the Nixon and Reagan administrations, respectively, and then started his own political campaigns.
So, Brian, when does he start?
I can't wait to see.
On the 22nd, sir, of September.
Well, you know, he had a host of debates.
Now to bring him in early.
He adds diversity to the MSNBC lineup.
At least now I guess you have a heterosexual on MSNBC.
But my goodness.
I mean, the guy is an absolute disgrace.
I don't know exactly the details of his positions because, of course, they can start him out somewhere and move him wherever they want to.
Once he's back, I'm sure they'll start him out a little light to see how the public reacts.
But before you know it, he'll be like the rock star.
They love him.
As if there's not enough commentators, why don't we just have James Edwards fill the spot?
I would love to.
They used to have me, but not so much anymore.
We'll have room for you.
They got Brian.
Well, where was he at?
Was he on NBC before?
So is he just still in the NBA?
Was he on NBC or was it CBS?
I think it was NBC.
What's the difference, really?
But I mean, if he was with NBC before, I mean, this is just, you know, he's beyond the pale.
He's still in the family.
He's still in the family.
He just got busted down.
And that's my problem with Trump or Brian or any of these people.
I believe people can change.
And I do believe in the principles of repentance and the Christian idea.
And I do believe people could become better.
They could feel bad for the mistakes.
They can change.
They can jettison the past and become new people with the help of the Almighty and Jesus Christ.
I agree with that.
However, what I want to see is a little bit of time-tested reality.
I want to see them put their money where their mouth is.
So, you know, if Trump or Brian, you know, they've been off the stage for 10 years and they've lived a good family stellar life and they've volunteered and they've done what they're supposed to do.
And then they want to, okay, I might give them some credit and say, you know what?
I agree.
But not when you say, you know what?
I was wrong yesterday, but I'm right today and I've repented.
And by the way, make me your leader.
Wait a minute.
Whoa.
Slow down there, Joe.
Not so fast.
It's kind of my take.
Well, to me, it's like Chinese poetry.
It's exactly like Chinese poetry, especially if you're a white man.
Well, it's actually white man poetry.
People are not going to understand it.
So this white man had a poem rejected.
It was a great poem, by the way, and it was rejected over 40 times in the journals.
40 different poetry organizations rejected his poem over and over and over and over.
And by the way, it was a good poem.
But poetry journals, 40 times, said no.
So he got fed up with it, and he felt like he was being discriminated against.
So he submitted his poem, and I don't know how to say this name, Yifen Chu.
So he submitted his poem under a Chinese name and voila, best of 2015 poem, my friend.
And it was a Chinese pseudonym, and now his poem is the best of 2015, but he just hit a grand slam as a Chinese man.
Problem is, he's white.
Sam sent me this story a few days ago to cover tonight.
And then once we Sam was on the show tonight under the circumstances, we decided to cover it.
So basically, I'm just going to repeat what Sam broke down for emphasis.
So this guy sends in the poem to 40 different poets.
Yes.
Right, poetry journals, okay.
And it gets rejected however many times.
40 times.
He submits at one time the same poem under a Chinese pseudonym, and it's not only published, but it's one of the best of the best.
Yeah, it's the rock star of 2015, brother.
So what happened once they found out he wasn't Chinese, but he was white?
Was the poem suddenly not so good anymore?
Well, the problem is how do they retract all that?
Now they just want to bury the story and leave it alone.
Oh, man.
We're not talking about that.
Right?
You'd think we're making this up if you weren't a regular listener to this network.
Now, where's the Donald to defend the Chinese white man?
Yeah, well, you know.
The Donald's not Batman.
He can't be anything.
Maybe the Donald will quote his poem on the stage on Wednesday.
I can't wait.
Listen, I do feel guilty as if it's a guilty pleasure.
It's a frivolous indulgence.
Don't make you feel that.
If I'm being honest with my audience, as I am every time I speak, I'm looking forward to Wednesday night.
I know I shouldn't be.
So is Donald Trump the political Jezebel of our time?
Yes, he is.
I'm going to vote for him.
Sam, I'm voting for him.
I'm sorry.
By all means, you should do that.
He could change my mind.
You know, we'll see how the game, you know, I tell you, I'm watching Karl Rove on Fox.
I was watching Karl Rove today.
If Karl Rove hates him, a part of me has to like him.
Karl Rove doesn't really hate him.
That's all the political game you're falling for.
I don't know about that.
I don't know about that.
I tell you, I do tell you that if you assume that Trump is sincere on immigration, and that's it, okay, however big of an assumption that may be, I'm willing to believe it for now.
If you assume that, though, you know that the Republican establishment is scared to death about catering to their base, which is, you know, white working class, and you know that they hate that, and they really do hate that.
I mean, that's not too far away from the break.
But I think they know they can make or break anybody, and they're not worried.
Ann Coulter's in the news.
You know, she's the political firebrand that isn't quite as conservative as she sounds, but you know what?
She's a female and she looks good and so she can bust out and say anything she wants to.
And Coulter, after seeing Donald Trump's immigration plan, said, I don't even care if Trump performs abortions.
I read that.
I mean, you know, when she says these since, well, you have to think that that's kind of like Trump, but she's being literally well, she says things that are over the top because that's who she is.
I mean, that's her kind of just like Trump.
Well, I was.
And I think she's not saying she'd support abortion.
I think she's really just saying Donald's plan is that good in her mind.
Well, that's what she's saying.
She says she's so excited that somebody's finally willing, apparently willing, to secure the border that it doesn't matter anything else they do.
Ann Coulter says that Peter Brimelow, the former editor of Forbes magazine, is the one that awakened her to immigration.
I think Trump gives Ann Coulter credit for his immigration policies.
With, again, the two different things.
You got a big old love fest up there, don't you?
Well, we're going to have Peter Brimelow.
Peter Brimilow's book to be on next week.
He would be on tonight.
He's out of the country right now.
We're going to have Peter on.
Peter's a friend of mine, and he does the V-DAR website and the former editor of Forbes.
He's a big guy.
He's going to be on to talk about this because immigration, Peter eats, lives, and sleeps immigration.
So we're going to have him on next week.
Tough act to follow following Sam Bushman, though.
Sam, thank you so much for coming on tonight.
It's been a tremendous honor, as always.
All right.
Don't worry about vote fraud when you vote for the Trump.
Folks, we'll see you next week.
