You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, going across the South and worldwide at the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
You fly along the sky.
You know, that is one of those songs, ladies and gentlemen.
That is just one of those songs.
When you hear it on the radio, you turn it up all the way and you put your pedal to the metal and you just get going.
Burning love of Memphis' very own Elvis Presley, the king.
That song was playing in my car at about, oh, I don't know, 3.30 a.m. a couple of days ago as I was driving the one and only Sam Bushman and Kurt Crosby to the airport.
They had come into Memphis.
My goodness, when was that?
I guess it was Sunday, Monday, something like that.
Last Sunday?
It was after, yeah, it was last Sunday.
I can't remember.
No, it was actually Friday.
Where am I at?
I tell you, the day is all blurred together.
It was a week ago Friday, and we had lunch with them after they arrived at the airport.
And then they had to go to Missouri for an expo and to attend the baptism of one Matt the Copperhead, one of our TPC correspondents.
And then Eddie the Bombardier Miller and I, after doing the show in studio, well, Eddie wasn't on the show last week, but after I did the show in studio last Saturday, Eddie and I went on Sunday to go up to Missouri to attend the baptism and then to bring Sam and Kurt back to Memphis.
And then we spent a day together on Monday.
Just had a great time.
Their flight left very early on Tuesday.
And I had the opportunity to drive them to the airport.
And I said, you know, guys, you got to listen to an Elvis song as we're driving down the interstate in Memphis.
And so we played that one and we just had a good time.
I mean, you can't not have a good time when you're with Sam and Kurt and when you're amongst like-minded people and just great men.
The fellowship was outstanding.
And we took care of a little radio business and had an all-around, incredible time.
Always a pleasure and an honor to spend time with people of that caliber.
And we're going to have a fun and laid-back show tonight.
I think that the atmosphere that we fostered over the course of the last few days earlier in the week here in Memphis is going to carry over onto tonight's live broadcast.
Welcome, I should say, as we get started this evening to the Political Cesspool Radio Program.
I am your host, of course, James Edwards.
It is Saturday, June 6th.
That much I am sure of.
Saturday, June the 6th.
See, the thing with Sam and Kurt was when we drove back in from Missouri, we left on Sunday and got back on Monday, I guess, because we left at about 10 o'clock at night on Sunday.
It was a four-hour drive back to Memphis.
Got in at 2 in the morning.
Then I was waking up on Tuesday at about 3 in the morning to take them to the airport.
See, days really have a tendency to blur together when you're keeping those kind of hours, but we didn't waste a minute.
I can tell you that much.
But it is Saturday night.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be in the studio otherwise if it wasn't.
And we're going to do a show tonight.
Again, fun and laid-back.
You know, it never gets old doing this show.
I actually put up a post to the website of that title.
It never gets old.
And it truly doesn't.
And that's no revelation.
I say that very often, and I mean it.
But even after more than a decade on the air, I never tire of the thrill of being able to host this show, one that means so much to so many people.
And I put up a pretty interesting video on the website from a listener who actually taped from his car, a videotape, a few seconds of one of our interviews on the radio.
So if you are one of our listeners who tunes in primarily online, or rather, if you don't live in a city that carries us on the AM or FN dial, one of our affiliate cities, you will actually be able to live vicariously through this video and experience what it would be like if you did live in Memphis, for instance, and could listen to Political Assessable on the AM dial.
That is the thing.
You know, it's great to have such a robust online audience, but to be able to drive down the road and listen to TPC on the AM dial is just one of those things that never gets old.
So, of course, I thank the individual who sent this in.
The audio is a little bit muffled.
I don't know if their finger was on the microphone as they recorded this, but it's still a, I don't know.
It's a unique video, I think.
It's only 50 seconds long.
But I think every one of you, I thank every one of you who take part in this journey with us.
And remember, ladies and gentlemen, it is now Saturday.
I believe we sent those off on Wednesday.
Again, what's a day this week?
You're sleep deprived as yours truly.
You know, one day is as good as another.
But I believe it was on Wednesday that we sent out letters.
We sent out letters to each and every one of those of you who have contributed to the Political Cessible radio program.
So by now, knock on wood, they should be delivered.
If they have not already arrived, I would imagine certainly no later than Monday, you'll be getting them.
So check your home mailbox for an encouraging letter from me.
And I'd ask in addition to that that you remember that our second quarter fundraising drive is currently underway.
It kicked off the last, I think, don't get me started on days again.
It's kicked off at the end of May.
It will run through June the 30th.
And remember, you know, what we've built here, this juggernaut, the political cesspool that has been building and is once again riding a surge, as you'll read in the letter that I sent to you.
Many reasons to be excited if you're a fan of the political cesspool.
We are riding another crest at the moment.
But what we have built over the course of the last 10 years can all go away in a matter of weeks if we don't have a good response from our faithful audience.
And so we count on you four times a year to meet us halfway and help us keep this thing rolling forward and building stronger.
And we're counting on you again this month, ladies and gentlemen.
I know there are some of you out there that donate every single quarter.
Some of you donate every month.
But if you have not donated recently, I encourage you to do so.
We'll talk about this throughout the month.
But we've got some great incentive items for you.
You can go to thepoliticalaccessible.org and donate safely and securely online.
So be sure to do that.
I have already donated this month.
Yes, I donate at least once a month as well.
As we say so often, I will never ask you to do anything that I don't already do.
And that's just what I think strong leaders should do.
Lead by example and not just encourage with words to get others to do something that they are not willing to do for themselves.
And so we're all in this together.
And I'm greatly appreciative for that.
Keith Alexander will be out tonight.
But Eddie the Bombardier Miller back.
And we're going to wear Eddie out tonight.
He's going to be on coming up just a little bit later with Sam Bushman, by the way.
So as I said, a lot of the excitedness that we all felt in Memphis is going to spill over into tonight's show when Sam and Eddie come on a little bit later on in the broadcast.
But Eddie's been out fundraising for St. Jude and his passion there.
He's, you know, got these marathons that he pledges so much for.
And he's going to tell you about that, not asking for your contribution.
We've got to donate to the Political Cesspool first and foremost tonight.
He's going to tell you about a little run-in he had with the authorities.
And that's a very interesting story that he shared with us on the way back from Missouri a couple of nights ago.
And he's going to share.
Listen, it's something that I think will grab your attention.
Really let you know the way things are trending in this country.
Well, when we come back, we're going to dedicate a song to that great conservative Republican, that courageous heroine, Caitlin Jenner.
We've got a song for Caitlin right after this.
Liberty is not free.
Its costs are innumerable.
Without monetary funding, the valiant efforts of freedom-loving Americans become diminished or outright defeated.
We present a solution, the Give Me Liberty Fund.
The plan is quite simple.
Invite individual Americans to contribute less than a dollar a day.
These monetary funds are used to promote liberty-minded media, organizations, events, candidates, movements, and speakers.
In the spirit of transparency, all expenditures are published.
Patriotic business owners provide discounted products and services to Give Me Liberty Fund members.
Our greatest strength is in numbers.
Go to GiveMeLibertyFund.com and become part of the solution today.

Scott Bradley here.
Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.
Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues.
Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face.
And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray.
Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.
The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution.
My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth.
Visit topreservethenation.com and order my book and lectures to begin the restoration of this great nation.
It's time to jump back into the political cesspool to be part of the show and have your voice heard around the world.
Call us at 1-866-986-6397.
How'd you do, I see you've met my faithful hand in hand.
He's just a little brought down bigger.
When you knocked, he thought you were the candy man.
Don't get strung out by the way our Lord.
Don't judge a book by its cup.
Much of a man by the light of day, but by night I'm what it is.
All right, Bruce.
Bruce, that is from me to you.
From the Political Cessible Radio Program to Bruce Jenner, we dedicate sweet transvestite, Tim Curry, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Because let's face it, ladies and gentlemen, that's what he is.
I tell his oldest time.
He is a transvestite.
He is a cross-dresser.
Bruce Jenner, the former Olympic athlete, he's decided to dress and drag and pretend to be a girl.
And, you know, I think we have spent maybe parts of four different shows over the last couple of months talking about this sick and deranged individual.
And I feel a little dirty, not just because of the content.
I feel dirty wasting time on the political cesspool talking about something that is ultimately so trivial.
But when you have the entire establishment media in the tank and presenting this as some sort of a great and courageous new way forward, well, for God's sake, there has to be one show in the country that sets the record straight and tells it like it is.
And that's what we're doing here.
I mean, this guy, and he is a guy, you know, I mean, let's face it.
He's celebrated for making this change from man to woman, but people, I guess, do they forget that such a change is biologically impossible.
He is just a man who dresses up like a woman, but we're all supposed to deny this reality and play along with this fiction, this farce.
He is a mentally ill, sick person.
You know, that's all that Bruce Jenner is.
But, you know, I was reading some of these articles this week, and they're all of a sudden referring to Bruce Jenner as a she, you know, using female pronouns to refer to Bruce Jenner.
And even Wikipedia, one of the most influential websites in the world, despite how far off they are on a lot of facts when it comes to political entries.
But they actually celebrated, quote-unquote, Caitlin Jenner's birthday.
So the day that Bruce Jenner decided he wanted to be called Caitlin, he became a new person.
So is Bruce Jenner dead now?
Is this a brand new person?
Does she get a new birth certificate?
I mean, how far are we going to take this madness?
And I've got another question, a real question.
What happens to Bruce Jenner's Olympic medals?
Since he apparently was always a woman, should he have been able to compete in men's Olympic sports?
Is she accountable for his criminal activity if there was any?
I mean, that's another great question.
But so if Bruce was always a woman, should he have, should, you know, what pronouns are we going to use here?
Should she, according to them, Should she have been allowed to compete for a male Olympic gold medal?
Should that be rescinded?
Equality is a farce, ladies and gentlemen.
This whole equality nonsense, equality is a war against excellence and against sanity.
And I couldn't help but notice that one Miss Leibowitz helped Caitlin Jenner come out to the world in this vanity spread picture album.
And it's just shocked to find out that a Jewish individual would have a hand in such degeneracy.
But anyway, I'm going to quit talking about Bruce Jenner.
Everybody knows the score here that has any modicum of common sense.
But we're going to let Ramsey Paul put the capstone on this one and we're going to transition to other more important topics.
Ramsey, take it away.
Courage.
We don't hear much about courage, but it's important for men of Western civilization to display that quality.
I'm reminded of Napoleon.
Napoleon had a great quote about courage.
Courage isn't having the strength to go on.
It's going on when you don't have the strength.
That was Napoleon.
And throughout our history, we've celebrated men of courage.
Starting back in World War I, we celebrated this man, Alvin York.
He was a southern boy from Tennessee who single-handedly charged a German machine gun nest and killed 20 Germans and captured 140 others.
Courage.
Of course, courage is more than just shown on the battlefield.
There's also people like, okay, Neil Armstrong, this guy had balls.
Imagine you're away from Earth farther than anyone's ever been away from someone else in humanity.
You're alone.
You can't be rescued if something goes wrong.
You're going to the moon.
This guy did it.
Courage.
And now in the year 2015, we have a new man, I mean woman of courage that we're celebrating.
Caitlin Jenner.
This is her on Vanity Magazine.
She used to be known as Bruce Jenner, the Olympic hero, but now she has had the courage to cut off her, you know, I think it's cut off.
It looks kind of smooth there.
Is it my imagination or do you see like a little camel toe there?
And for her courage, Caitlin is being awarded, and I'll link to this, the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
And if you don't know, Arthur Ashe was a very courageous African-American who played tennis, who got A's.
And God bless you, Arthur Ashe.
But they just don't give this to anyone, this award.
And recently, for example, someone else that had courage was a guy named Michael Sam.
Remember Michael Sam?
He was a very brave college football player, a defensive lineman, tough.
He would get on the line and race trying to penetrate and tackle the quarterback.
But he got cut by the NFL because he couldn't break through or penetrate the line.
But he could penetrate his boyfriend, and that's brave.
So they gave him an award.
So now we have Caitlin Jenner getting this award.
And Caitlin, I just want to say, I think all the little boys across America, when I was a little boy, I looked up to people like Neil Armstrong saying, hey, someday I want to be an astronaut.
So many of our boys wanted to do that.
Now, especially white boys, because of you on this Vanity Fair magazine, thanks to a certain group of people that are promoting you, little white boys are going to say, that's what I want to be.
When I'm 65 years old, I want to be a drag queen.
That's courage.
That is what it is to be celebrated in America.
Thank you, Caitlin Jenner.
I mean, what else can you say about that?
It's perverted, and you know, this is the world we live in, but this is the world we're fighting to change here on the political cesspool.
And, you know, I know it's easy to get awash in this sea of lunacy, this ocean of lunacy.
We help keep things grounded here.
You know, we remind those who do still have their sanity that you're not alone.
And sometimes it's easy to forget that if you're out there in the world without programs such as this standing up on the mainstream airwaves and just basically waving a flag of normalcy.
As I said before, normalcy is something that is very, very underrated.
It is actually a very good thing and something to be proud of to just be normal in this day and age.
Well, coming up the remainder of the hour, we still have many, many stories to cover, most of which articles about have been posted to our website, thepoliticalcesspool.org.
I will just quickly make mention of this.
We may have to carry it over after the next commercial break.
But, you know, we hear all about how diversity is our greatest strength.
And if you don't believe that having people of different cultures and different religions and different languages and different everything working in close proximity, living in close proximity to one another is just the greatest thing ever, just the best idea that there's ever been in the history of ideas.
Well, you're, of course, an evil racist, Nazi homophobe bigot.
But it's interesting that when push comes to shove, not even Barack Obama truly believes in diversity.
Jay-Z and Beyonce, they don't believe in diversity, not when it comes time to getting things done.
I'm going to give you the proof of that right after this.
Stay tuned.

So as we all know, diversity is not our greatest strength.
That's a lot born in the pit of hell.
In fact, forced diversity is one of the things that's absolutely ripping this country apart at the seams.
And as we maintain here in the Political Cesspool, equal rights for all special privileges for none.
Best qualified applicants should get the job or the scholarship, and we shouldn't be filling quotas just to soothe the hurt feelings of inferiority that some people have.
Because equality is a farce.
As I said a few minutes ago, equality is a war being waged against excellence.
No two people are equal in anything.
That's just not the way it works.
And I think everybody knows that.
I mean, Bruce Jenner is not equal to somebody that has a healthy brain.
And they're doing this in schools now.
It is much easier to bring people down to a certain level than it is to raise people up to a superior and elevated position.
And so used to, even when I went to school in the 80s and 90s, when I was in high school, you had the advanced classes and you had the classes for kids that just couldn't get it.
Because as we all know, intelligence is something that, for the most part, you're born with.
You either have it or you don't.
And you can, with hard work, raise your scores a few points, but it's something that's gifted to you.
But now, they're doing away with that kind of stuff.
And we see it all across the board.
In jobs now, you're not getting the best qualified folks for the jobs because we have to celebrate diversity and equality.
And it's just, well, it's nonsensical.
But I'll tell you two people who don't believe in diversity.
It's Jay-Z, Beyonce, and Barack Obama.
I guess that's three people.
So Jay-Z and Beyonce combined, they're worth about $1.5 billion.
It certainly wasn't earned because of any talent.
But nevertheless, but rather for the role that they play.
Well, they've started this streaming music service called Tidal, I believe it is.
And one of the companies that makes title work is a Norwegian-based outfit called Espiro.
And so Mr. and Mrs. Z went to Norway recently to visit the headquarters of Espiro and take a picture with the entire staff.
100% white.
100% white.
So, you know, this guy may hate white people and fund black rioters in Baltimore, but when he wants something done for himself, he outsources it to Norway.
We've got a picture of Jay-Z and Beyonce in the midst of this, you know, entirely white staff.
So, you know, where's the diversity there?
But if you want more hypocrisy, if you're upset about Mr. and Mrs. Z's racial hypocrisy, then take a look at this picture from Barack Obama's campaign team in 2012.
Now, I know for the people who are part of his cabinet and some of his appointees, you know, he'll put on a good show and make it as diverse as you want.
But you've got this room full of white people who make up the staff of the Obama 2012 re-election campaign data mining team.
So for this technical position, Barack Obama's very own campaign, 100% white.
We've got the picture of this crew as well.
I think I see maybe one Oriental woman in there and the rest that's white.
So all of these white-hating people, they really do hate white people, and they stand with the brothers and the sisters, as was written on our website this week, right up to the moment when they want something done and they want it done competently.
So think about that, ladies and gentlemen.
When, you know, the rubber meets the road.
You want to see how it works in real life.
Even these people who are doing everything they can to diminish the influence and importance of the dispossessed majority, when it comes down to it, that's exactly who they go to.
How about that?
Well, another thing that's a war, part of the war being waged against this is the war against the heroic spirit of our people.
A very interesting article posted that we reposted rather to thepolitical cesspool.org this week written by our good friend and regular guest, Dr. Kevin McDonald.
But there's this war to basically wimpify those who seek to go out and conquer things, conquer exploration.
It talks about how you can't even rent horses anymore and do full gallops.
You just have to trot along.
You can't climb Mount Rainier without passes and a buddy system.
And so this is something that Kevin has written about.
Several articles, in fact, on extreme sports as a context for implicit whiteness.
Putting this all together, the nanny state are suppressing a critical aspect of traditional European culture, which is death-defying deeds in pursuit of personal glory.
And this restless spirit, as Kevin writes, goes back throughout recorded history of the West, and it is linked to our triumphs and exploration, invention, military exploits, and conquering the unknown.
This is something that is uniquely European.
And you look at all of the men, these explorers, these great people, these true heroes, unlike Bruce Jenner, these true heroes of the West.
They all engaged in very dangerous activities, and we're all the better for it.
And this campaign to suppress the history of Western heroic deeds in the university dovetails with the campaigns to force people to save, to live safe lives while wallowing in the consumer culture so aptly described by Kevin McDonald on his website.
So, you know, this is the battle in taming the West, the ultimate victory of radical egalitarianism, and really the end of the traditional culture of the West, if we allow.
And I feel that in myself, you know, as I read this article, I related it to my own life.
And certainly what I've done, you know, can't compare to people like Christopher Columbus, who sailed across, you know, a wide open ocean with, I mean, my God, think about the risk he took there.
But even starting this radio show, to conquer something, to go out and to build something because you had this idea and you had to see it realized.
I have always felt that part of myself, that if there's a challenge, if there's something in my mind that I would like to accomplish, I have to set out.
It's not that I need to or want to necessarily.
I have to set out to accomplish that.
And it can range a wide spectrum from getting the girl to creating this program to rival some of the biggest talkers in talk radio, as we do, thanks to your support, ladies and gentlemen, and everything in between, running for office, fighting to do something because there's something within us that wills us forward.
Well, that is part of our people that they are, of course, trying to suppress.
But again, as I read this article, I could relate that to myself in some ways.
And I think certainly probably most of you feel that as well as sons and daughters of the West.
This is part of our spirit, and it's part of the makeup that makes us who we are and why we're so special and so important.
But getting back to the whole equality and diversity and the lowering of standards, we see that across the board now, not just in elementary schools, not just in jobs and in universities.
It's everywhere, including, of course, the military.
And we posted an article about this as well to our website this week.
Trying to cover the news quickly this first hour because we've still got a lot of ground to cover this evening.
And we're working Eddie back into the mix after being off for about a month, which is, I think, as long as he's ever missed consecutively.
But he was out working on the weekends because that's, you know, Eddie goes out and panhandles on the sidewalk.
And I mean that very complimentary.
You know, he goes out and he hustles for something that he believes in.
And that's, of course, his marathons and who are helped by these marathons, the people, the kids who are helped by these marathons.
And he's just done a great job, fantastic job.
And anyway, Saturday night's big business for Eddie, but he's pretty much reached his goal now, and a lot of people in this audience have helped him do that.
So he'll be back tonight, and he's got a lot to say, so I'm trying to cover as much news as I can here.
But the lowering of the standards in the military as well, eight women recently entered into the latest Ranger school class, and they washed out.
So that's a stunning blow for the Army's propaganda that these women could have made it through the intense two-month course designed to train the service's best warriors.
See, we're supposed to believe in this fairy tale that women can do everything that men do.
And, of course, God has given us both strengths and abilities and attributes that the other doesn't possess.
But women playing soldier isn't what they were designed to do.
And so what's the response to this?
Have they seen the light that, hey, well, women just can't compete physically with Army Rangers?
No.
No.
The inevitable call has come now to lower the standards being used to train the troops.
That way, women can do it as well.
We just lower the standards required of the men to such an extent that now the women can do it.
And oh, all of the sudden we have equality, ladies and gentlemen.
Thank God we knew it was out there.
But it's not because they are competing on an equal level.
It's because the standards have been lowered to such an extent that basically, I guess my five-year-old daughter could probably be an Army Ranger now if she wanted to.
So anyway, long article about that.
Check it out.
I'm sure our enemies are quaking at the thought of this new and improved military, and we've covered this story before, but this is just the latest example of the lunacy.
I mean, political correctness is truly a mental disorder, folks, and so many of our countrymen are afflicted with it.
Not here, not you.
We'll be right back.
From the days of the Romans, there have been legends of a fountain of youth, and now science has found a real answer to slowing the aging process.
I'm Joyce Riley from the Power Hour, and it's so exciting to know that Time Challenger has capitalized on decades' worth of international scientific studies to bring you the most powerful mitochondrial DNA supplement on the market today.
Mitochondrial DNA is the power plant of human cells.
But as we age, we lose more and more of this precious material.
Time Challenger promotes healing and gives cells the power to do their work.
Mental cognition may be enhanced, skin refreshed, blood pressure normalized, and signs of aging might be reduced.

I am tired.
it's burning to my soul girl girl girl you're gonna set me on fire
my plane is flaming i don't know which way to go your kisses lift me higher sweet song of a choir like my burning sky burning love all right i know what y'all are y'all are Y'all are wondering.
Is that Elvis again?
Well, as close as it sounds to Elvis, that was not the king.
That was our friend here in Memphis, Lee, who we also had an opportunity to spend some time with while Sam and Kurt were in town ago.
And Lee is just, he is an all-American.
Let me tell you something.
And actually, Sam and Lee and Kurt, after we had dinner, one of our dinners, well, they were in town for three days.
And man, we tore up the road.
I mean, we couldn't have been busier.
And we certainly didn't make any time for sleep.
But after we went to a pizza restaurant on Monday night, and after that, Sam and Kurt and Lee went out and had a karaoke jam session.
And that was Lee doing his rendition of Burning Love.
And Lee is a dead ringer for Dom DeLois.
Every time I see him, I'm thinking, Dom, how's it going?
I didn't know you were still alive.
But he's a great guy, hardcore patriot.
We said we're going to raise a little money to get Lee a bumper sticker.
And if you've ever seen Lee's car, you get the joke.
It is an attraction in and of itself worthy of a trip to Memphis.
We took pictures of it.
I mean, Lee's car is a rolling bumper sticker.
There's not one, you can't even find a piece of paint on there.
It's just all covered up with slogans and sayings and websites.
And anyway, it's a sight to be seen.
And we had a great time spending time with Lee.
Lee, of course, also came to our 10-year anniversary event here in Memphis last October.
Just one of the great guys here in Memphis.
And so we wanted to, since we're having a little fun laid-back show, play that clip for you.
We do like to have a good time.
The work is serious, and we certainly take our responsibilities serious.
There is no cause more worth fighting for, but we have a good time with our brothers as well.
Okay, that being said, I want to share another quick personal story with you.
You know, you get, there are some people out there who get really offended by stereotypes.
And these same people who are so offended by stereotypes just can't get themselves to refrain from engaging in stereotypical behavior.
All stereotypes, I'm afraid, are rooted in some kernel of truth.
And my wife went to the zoo.
I was working that day getting some things prepared for the program.
This was on Tuesday.
And my wife went with, you know, it's summer break, so everybody's out doing things.
The weather's warm.
And my wife went with another mother, two other mothers and their children, basically.
So it was a group of girls and kids.
And so they went to the Memphis Zoo.
And Memphis does have a very good zoo.
We're annual pass holders to the zoo.
We go there, you know, a handful of times a year.
But my wife made the mistake, and she made it erroneously.
She didn't know going in that it was going to be free day at the zoo.
Basically, once a month, the zoo is free to get into, so you don't have to pay.
And anybody in Memphis who wants to come to the zoo can go to the zoo.
So you can imagine that the zoo was very diverse that day.
And I am just telling you, I witnessed testimony of what my wife witnessed.
Now, when you walk into the Memphis Zoo, they have this scaled-down model of the Nile River, I believe it is.
And it flows from this fountain at the beginning of the zoo down to this little reflecting pool.
It's probably about two feet deep, and you throw your coins in there and make a wish or whatever, you know.
And anyway, my wife is at the zoo with these two other ladies that go to our church and their children.
A lot of diversity there, a lot of youths.
And my wife said, within a five-minute span, this is what she witnessed after walking into the zoo.
She saw black children bathing in the fountain, urinating in the fountain.
The ones who weren't taking a bath or using the restroom in the fountain were walking through, and I'm talking about kids now, not teens, quote unquote, but even younger than that, picking up the quarters, the pennies, the nickels, and the dimes at the encouragement of their mothers.
I can't say parents because family isn't really the way that they operate over there.
Not a lot of dads in that community, but the mothers were encouraging their kids to pick up the loose change in the wishing well, waiting out in there.
It's a pretty big reflecting pool, too.
I mean, it's not like a little wishing well.
It's big.
Much bigger than a swimming pool, but it's shallow.
It's only about a foot deep.
So they're going through and they're getting all these coins and taking them back to their mothers.
And no zoo security at all dared to say, you know what, this is inappropriate behavior.
We're not going to urinate in the pool.
We're not going to bathe in it.
We're not going to swim in it.
And we're not going to steal the coins from it and take them back to mommy.
This was free day, of course, so they didn't pay for their admission.
So, you know, that's just an eyewitness example of stereotypical behavior.
And, you know, people get offended by being typecast.
Well, you know, don't feed into that.
And I don't want to take this too far, but there was a picture sent to me by one of our super listeners in Canada.
And I'm not comparing everybody in this community to animals, but the people who act like animals, if the shoe fit wears it, there is this picture.
It's a dead ringer.
It's this picture from Kenya of a group of baboons that have overtaken this woman's car.
And if you compare it to one of the pictures taken of a police car in the Baltimore riots with all of these rioters on top of it, it is a mirror image.
Mirror image.
I mean, it's uncanny how close these two pictures look to each other.
So what I'm saying is, don't act stereotypically, and maybe the stereotypes will go away, but I'm not holding my breath.
But, you know, it's really a shame.
It's really a shame that you can't enjoy a world-class zoo like the one that we have in Memphis without having, you know, my five-year-old daughter has to see this, you know?
They're the ones who should be apologizing for their behavior.
We shouldn't apologize for running the risk.
And certainly we don't on this program, but I'm saying our people, normal people, shouldn't apologize for running the risk of, quote-unquote, offending their sensibilities for calling out such behavior.
I'm thankful for everyone who doesn't act that way, black, white, whatever.
But the thing is, you don't have pictures of white rioters imitating the baboons because it just doesn't occur.
Okay, anyway, great article.
Two great back-to-back articles from Pat Buchanan.
not certainly noteworthy because all of his columns are normally outstanding and we post one each week on Monday morning to the political cesspool.org but he wrote one last week the decline of Christian America he followed it up with the cultural cleansing of Christian males and there's a situation going on in St. Louis at St. Louis University a university that was founded for and by Catholics to be a Catholic Christian institution.
Well, the faculty there is offended that there is this statue, this monument there on the campus grounds of a Catholic missionary witnessing to the Indians, and there's one of the Indians bowing before this man of God, presumably accepting Christ as his savior, and they said, well, that's culturally insensitive.
So this is a, you know, it'd be one thing if this was, you know, some far-out leftist university.
Well, even Harvard was founded by ministers.
I mean, people forget that too.
But it'd be one thing if this was some left coast, you know, fake university.
This was a Christian founded university and founded by Catholics.
And they're offended that there's this Catholic missionary there that's honored.
This is how sick, this is how, you know, this disease of political correctness, which apparently only afflicts our people.
You know, everybody else is healthy enough to be immune to it.
Our people somehow buy into this thing that our excellence and our superiority in many ways, our cultural superiority in many ways, is something to be ashamed of.
It's something that we should be proud of.
We should be proud for taking first world civilization to the rest of humanity.
We should be proud for taking Christ's salvation to the rest of humanity.
If Christ is the Son of God, then Christianity is superior to all other religions, as I believe it to be.
This is something that we should not apologize for.
They're certainly not worried about offending us.
Those mothers who were encouraging their children to steal from the pool there at the zoo, they weren't worried about offending us, offending anybody that might frown upon such behavior.
Anyway, we're going to post that article by Pat to our website on Monday.
One of his best ever.
And I've been reading his stuff since I worked for the man back in 2000.
I don't think I've ever missed one of his columns.
This is, to me, stood out as much as any I've ever read.
So check it out on Monday.
Let me give you a quick preview on how the rest of the show is going to work.
My schedule on Saturday nights has just been killer with the vacation, you know, covering two Saturdays, and I did my best to call in and be part of those shows.
My daughter has a ballet recital tonight at 7 o'clock in just a couple of minutes.
Now, if you ran a ballet dance academy, would you plan the adults, the older kids to go at night, or would you plan for the five-year-old class to go at night?
Well, if you go to my daughter's school, you would plan for the five-year-old.
So I'm heading out to go to my daughter's ballet recital.
