You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is the Political Cesspool.
The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
And here to guide you through the murky waters of the political cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
All right, everybody, third hour here.
Eddie and Keith are talking as if work must not intrude, but it must.
James Edwards, Eddie the Bombardier Miller now with me to round out the show tonight.
We're going to revisit some of the latest happenings in Russia and the Ukraine.
We talked about it last year.
Got a little emotional, I guess you could say.
Heated, the bombardier was, but that's why he's the bombardier.
All in good taste.
I want to thank Keith Alexander for his service to the show this evening.
So let's talk about what's going on in Russia since we last visited the issue a week ago this evening.
Look, is Putin everything we would want any man to be?
No.
You know, I get some emails about this.
You know, most of the audience, I believe, shares my assessment of Putin that, to say the least, he's better than what we've got.
You know, we would be better served to have a guy like that in charge.
You know, at least a guy that claims to be a Russian Orthodox.
I mean, he's a Christian, claims to be at least.
You know, at least he owns it, okay?
He doesn't run from it.
He's not embarrassed by it.
He doesn't take action that contradicts it.
I mean, his stand on sodomy is completely consistent with the Russian Orthodox faith.
So, you know, there's a big heads up there.
Yeah, he was, yeah, he was KGB at one time.
What are you going to do?
Tell the Soviets no?
You know?
But listen, I don't know if he's everything.
I'm just saying he's better than what we've got.
So with regards to what's going on over there in the Ukraine, it's really getting to be a new Cold War with regards to the rhetoric that we have.
I actually heard that Obama, Putin, this is not a fact.
I shared this with Eddie today, but it has been attributed that Putin said that trying to negotiate with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon.
The pigeon knocks over all of the pieces of the board, defecates on it, and then struts off as if he won the game.
Maybe that's the case, because I'm telling you, Putin runs circles around the United States State Department.
He runs circles around Clinton and Kerry.
Look at how he handled the Snowden issue, for instance.
It's just he's on another level.
But what really proved in my mind that we're right in siding with Russia on the issue of Crimea is that everybody is in the tank against Russia on this one.
All of the members of Congress, the Senate, both Isles, Republicans and Democrats, the Obama administration, even Rush Limbaugh.
Now, you know, if all of the Republicans and all of the Democrats and all of the media, including the so-called conservative media like Limbaugh, are all in agreement on an issue, they have got to be wrong.
It's got to be bad.
Limbaugh was saying that Vladimir Putin is attempting to rebuild the Soviet Union and we have to stand against, you know, communism.
So this is what Limbaugh said.
I was listening to with my own ears.
Well, Crimea, as Eddie has mentioned, has been a part of Russia ethnically, culturally, and as a state since Catherine the Great up until the fall of the Soviet Empire.
Eddie wants to make mention of Limbaugh, though, in his comments, that we have to stand against the rebuilding of the Soviet Union.
Well, and we mentioned this last week, Eddie.
I think you brought it up.
If there's anybody acting like the old Soviet Union, it's America and their imperialism.
America being in all of these countries with military bases and dominating them politically.
You know, if anyone is the new Soviet Union, it's America, not a country that is going in to reannex, number one, a group of Russians that want to be part of Russia again.
They're going to vote on that this week, and I guarantee you they vote to go over there.
Putin went through the parliament to get permission to go in there at the request of those Russians in Crimea.
This just makes complete and total sense.
They're ethnic Russians.
But if America has a problem with Russia going into Crimea, okay, let's be consistent.
Get out of the South.
Amen.
And I think the puppet master Limbaugh needs to check his facts.
If he's looked around in the United States today, he'll see a communized country, far greater socialist, far greater communist than the former Soviet Union.
I mean, look at Obamacare.
You know, the people raising cane about Obamacare.
If you look, you know, if you look around, Obamacare is, you know, the Soviet Union just wish they'd have had something like Obamacare under Stalin and Lenin.
They never had anything that widespread and that radical.
And you know who put Obamacare in?
It was a real good conservative Republican, Mitt Romney.
He's the one that wrote it.
In fact, it was RomneyCare before it became Obamacare, James.
He made many trips, at least seven to Washington, D.C., to write that plan up.
Four at the behest of the insurance companies in the United States.
He got that.
I mean, look at how the United States is now.
We can't even have our own school system without taking directives from the central government in Washington, D.C. You know, we have so-called social security.
We have the FTA in the airports, you know, frisking women down, frisking men down, forcing us through their microwave ovens, as they call full-body x-ray machines.
We can't, you know, we can't even, you can't even have a house that you pay for and get it paid off in your lifetime without being taxed to death.
I'd like to say this too.
You know, if our illustrious president and these puppets in Washington, D.C. are so concerned about Russia getting out of Crimea.
By the way, the Crimea has already, to my best of knowledge, the Crimea has already voted to join, to go back to Russia.
And it's pretty much of a slam dunk that the Ukraine is going to do the same thing because the majority of the southern Ukraine is Russian-speaking Russian ethnics.
By the way, and it has been a part of the Ukraine, you know, the Crimea has been a part of Russia since Catherine the Great.
Before, look at this.
The Crimea region in Ukraine has been a part of Russia, and I'll add this, white Russia, before the United States became a nation.
You know, we didn't have a constitution here in this country until 1789.
Catherine the Great took reign in July of 1765 and served out, if I'm not mistaken, until 1796.
You know what?
I would like to see the federal government of the United States get the hell out of the South.
I, for one, I do not want to be a part of the United States government.
I despise that government.
It's the most communist, the most corrupt government in the entire world, the most hypocritical.
I mean, it's not, you know what, James?
It's not the Soviets that's running around, and I've said this on the previous show.
It's not the Soviets, or excuse me, the Russians, the Soviets are dead now.
It's not them that's going around nuking people with cruise missiles.
It's not them going around with these drones.
I mean, I mean, we have, get this, people.
The United States has on order 30,000 drones to operate in the airspace of the United States, spying on our own citizens.
A week can't go by that you don't read about a Russian, somebody in Afghanistan, excuse me, not Russia, but somebody in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran.
Innocent citizens being killed by drones that are being flown by the CIA.
And, I mean, and these innocent people that get killed, they call them collateral damage.
Listen, people, I hear the music, and we're going to come back and we're going to really hammer this issue home.
And yes, I am for Valdemir Putin.
I wish to God we had somebody of his stature in this country here, but we don't.
We're going to take a break.
Talk more about it, folks.
Stay tuned.
Are you familiar with the term vigor?
Strength in body and mind?
He pursued his tennis game with vigor, for example.
Well, I hadn't, but I learned about it from Kurt Crosby.
All right, and he actually let me take a scientifically proven free vigor test.
And I got 13 out of 32, not very good.
But I worked on it with him, and believe it or not, now I have a 29 out of 32 and improving vigor score.
You say, Sam, what on earth is this scientific vigor score, huh?
My response is you got to take the free test available now.

All right, everybody, welcome back.
Talking a little bit here in the top of the third hour about Russia, what's going on in the Ukraine.
Why is the United States taking such a big interest in the annexation of really just a small part of the Ukraine, the far eastern part, the Crimea, that has historically and culturally and still today ethnically a part of Russia?
Why is that such a big deal to the global community?
This is what European history is all about.
You know, countries break apart, they rejoin, they have alliances.
You know, in Europe, that's just the way business is done.
Countries are part of a country for a little while, then they become independent.
Maybe they get re-annexed.
You know, this is just the way it goes.
I'll tell you what's going on.
It's not so much that Putin claims Christianity or he gives people a paid holiday to go home and make a baby trying to raise the Russian aka white birth rate.
It's not so much that he's taking a righteous stand against sodomy.
Putin has gone on record mentioning, and we've talked about this in the past, that 85% of the Bolsheviks, 85% of the communists that led the Soviet Union were Jewish.
You want to get on the poop list of the global elite, you start mentioning Jewish power and influence as a head of state.
I tell you, that's the way you're going to do it.
He mentions that the Jewish people who led the Soviet Republic murdered millions of people.
But it's not just that, although that's a big part of why I think Washington and the West is so vehemently anti-Putin.
He said recently he is considering taking Russia off the dollar.
That, now, all conflicts boil down to money.
Principle has nothing to do with it.
I read something ludicrous this week.
Obama is saying we have to oppose what Putin's doing because it's unconstitutional.
I don't even know what that's supposed to mean.
Is he talking about Russia's Constitution or Ukraine's Constitution?
Is he talking about ours?
When has he ever even read ours?
Yeah, this is the same guy who a couple of weeks ago said he wasn't even going to bother with Congress.
He can't get them to act right.
He's just going to start issuing executive order after executive order.
But he has a, yeah, he adheres, he wants to make sure other countries adhere to their constitutions.
I don't even know what he's talking about.
But no, it's always about money.
Putin says he is considering taking Russia off the dollar.
He's going to reduce the reserve currency over there to zero on the American dollar.
Oh, and by the way, the new puppet president in the Ukraine is Jewish, wouldn't you know?
And that's just a matter of fact.
You can take that for what it is, but that's the truth.
It's all about money.
Putin hadn't done himself any favors with the West by mentioning the Jewish involvement in the mass murder of millions when they were the head of the communist state.
But I think all of these things play a role in it, Eddie.
And this is another reason I think his criticism of Jewish power and influence in the Soviet era, I think it goes into why, as I was traveling the other day, I told you I listened to Rush Limbaugh's comments about how we got to oppose Putin.
We got to stand with Obama.
This is Rush Limbaugh.
We got to stand with the Democrats.
The Democrats are right on this one.
We got to have partisanship to oppose the rebuilding of the Soviet Republic, which is what Putin's trying to do.
But I also was listening to some Christian talk radio on the drive home, too, and they too were talking about how Christians have to pray that Putin is displaced.
Christians have to pray that a guy who at least claims our faith.
I mean, no one knows the heart of a man except for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but at least he claims the faith and backs it up with his actions, at least with regards to homosexuality.
That's more than I can say about any other head of state in any country.
Except for maybe Uganda.
They got it right on homosexuality.
And so the Christians are against him.
And I think, you know, part of it is because he criticized, you know, especially in the megachurches today, it's not so much worship of Jesus Christ that they're interested in, it's worship of Jews.
This is what these men, you know, because all Christ is, is God is love.
You know, it doesn't matter if you're homosexual.
God loves you.
You don't have to repent.
You don't have to live a Christian life.
God is love.
Everybody goes to heaven.
And don't you dare say anything critical about Jewish folks.
We're not talking about hatred of anybody.
I don't hate anybody.
But, you know, I oppose liberalism and I oppose the things that a lot of these Zionist elites stand for.
I think that's what's going on here, Eddie.
His criticism in that regard and his comments about the dollar.
It's always about money.
You know, James, you nailed, you hit some points I'd like to go back over.
I think in the last show, we probably mentioned that when Putin came in and took office as president of Russia in the year of 2006, if I'm not mistaken, Russia was pretty much deeply in debt, just like the United States is like all the other Western countries are to the globalists, to the Rothschild banking corporations, aka Jewish.
You should find me a dollar in a bank and I'll show you a Jew just looking at it.
But anyway, see, when Putin came in, Putin and the Russians, they paid all that money off.
They paid every bit out of it off.
And I think we mentioned before, he kicked all these Jewish oligarchs out that control like 90% of Russia's oil supply.
They're all reserves.
I know if you people know it or not, but you probably do.
Russia has probably the largest known oil reserve in the world.
Well, these Jewish oligarchs control that.
And just like they do in this country here, they have absolutely no allegiance to the United States.
They have no allegiance to Russia.
Their allegiance is to the Jews and to Israel.
That's their country.
And that's just, that's a fact.
I'm going to tell you something else.
Not only did they kick the oligarchs out and pay the Rothschild, Jewish bankers off, they also, to the best of my knowledge, have kicked all those bankers out.
They kicked the oligarch bankers out, the Rothschild bankers out, and they're starting their own banks.
And yes, James, they are talking about getting a Russian-backed currency that's backed by gold.
Just like Mark and I, our economists, talked about previously, the previous show, about the rich nations, about, I'll name some of them, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, a few more countries have gotten together.
They're sick and tired of going, getting screwed by this American dollar, you know, the dollar being the world's reserve currency backed by nothing.
They're tired of being screwed by that, taking worthless dollars for good, for, you know, for good Toyotas and Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagens and Sony cameras and things like that.
They want to be paid in real goods.
Well, they're getting away from the American dollar.
And get this, folks, that's what happened in Libya with Colonel Gaddafi.
Colonel Gaddafi was tired of getting screwed by taking these so-called petrodollars.
We mentioned that in the last show, for nothing.
Just, you know, the United States coming in and just printing up worthless paper and forcing Colonel Gaddafi, the Libyans to accept that for all.
Dittos for Iraq.
Dittos for Iran.
Dittos for all these other oil-producing nations.
They're sick and tired of the United States coming in and bullying them.
And the United States people, it's not Eddie Miller saying this.
I've read this myself.
You can go and you could look up the leaders in Israel.
Going back for years, they will say that they control the United States.
The United States is a Jewish state.
It's run by Tel Aviv.
And the sooner people wake up and see that, the better.
And listen, I'm going to tell you something else.
What's going on in the Crimea?
The CIA, we talked about this previous show too, the CIA, MI5, MI6, the so-called Western, the good guys, Intel just went into the Crimea and they stirred up all these so-called protesters.
These protesters want to take these worthless dollars, these Euros and worthless dollars.
They want to turn down the good oil and the good coal and the other goodies that Russia has given the Ukrainians to come into the Russians here.
And that's what's going on over there.
Like James said, when you start taking the money away from the Jewish bankers, that's when you are getting, it's when you're going into hellfire.
I'll give you, I have a little anecdotal evidence of that.
I have a nephew.
I won't mention his name.
The kid has been in prison since, I can't remember, at least 25 years.
He'll never get out.
And I'm not saying he's okay to rob banks, but the guy robbed banks.
There was no one who was ever hurt, never a shot fired.
He's in jail for life.
He'll never get out.
You see every day, this kid's aunt was shot at an ATM station, ATM machine, over $20.
Go ahead, the music.
Hey, look, people, I'm going to get back to the story when we come back for the break.
You hear the music right now.
We've got to go to break.
We'll be right back, folks.
Please hang on.

There are quite a few reasons for the precarious state of our civilization and our people, but one of the main ones is that we have lost the intellectual and moral high ground to a cultural elite that is hostile to our people and our culture.
Those of us who are politically aware must understand that the elites dominating culture and the political process in the West are intellectually and morally bankrupt.

You know, we were talking a moment ago how all of the media, the Republicans, the Democrats, Rush Limbaugh, Christian Radio, seems to be anti-Russia, anti-Putin.
And I was thinking, you know, there's got to be, there's got to be one, there's got to be one commentator out there.
Got to be one besides us, you know.
Sam Bushman, yes, of course, Liberty News Radio, Sam Bushman.
Pat Buchanan, old faithful.
You know, tried and true friend Pat Buchanan.
He wrote a great article about this issue.
I'm going to read excerpts of it.
The entire article will be posted on our website on Monday, but I'm just going to read a couple of passages from it.
No one could make a case like Pat.
Here's what it reads.
When Vladimir Putin's dispatch of Russian troops into Crimea, our warhawks are breathing fire.
Russophobia is rampant in the op-ed pages here in America.
Barack Obama should tune them out and reflect on how Cold War presidents dealt with far graver clashes.
When Red Army tank divisions crushed the Hungarian freedom fighters in 1956, killing 50,000, Eisenhower didn't lift a finger.
When Khrushchev built the Berlin Wall, JFK went to Berlin and gave a speech.
When Warsaw Pact troops crushed the Prague Spring in 1968, LBJ did nothing.
When Moscow ordered General to smash Solidarity, Ronald Reagan refused to put Warsaw in defeat.
These presidents saw no U.S. vital interest impaired in these Soviet actions, however brutal.
They sensed that the time was on our side in the Cold War, and history has proven them right.
What is the U.S. vital interest in Crimea, Pat Buchanan asks?
Zero.
From Catherine the Great, we were just talking about this Eddie.
From Catherine the Great to Khrushchev, the peninsula belonged to Russia.
The people of Crimea are ethnic Russians.
And Crimea, should they vote to secede from Ukraine?
Upon what moral ground would we stand to deny them that right when we bombed Serbia for 78 days to bring about the secession of Kosovo?
Pat Buchanan.
Across Europe, nations have been breaking apart since the end of the Cold War.
Out of the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, and Yugoslavia came 24 different nations.
Scotland is voting on secession this year.
Yet today we have Wall Street Journal describing Russia's sending of soldiers to occupy airfields in Ukraine as a Nazi blitzkrieg that brings the threat of war to the heart of Europe, though Crimea is even east of what we used to call Far Eastern Europe.
Now they're saying it's the heart of Europe.
Hillary Clinton, by the way, compared Putin to Hitler this week.
The Wall Street Journal wants the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush sent into the Eastern Mediterranean and warships of the U.S. 6th Fleet sent into the Black Sea.
But why?
We have no alliance that mandates our fighting Russia over Crimea.
We have no vital interest there.
Why send a flotilla other than to act tough and escalate the crisis and risk of a clash?
The Washington Post calls Putin's move a naked act of armed aggression in the center of Europe.
Crimea is the center of Europe?
We are paying a price for our failure to teach geography.
The Post also urges an ultimatum to Putin, get out of Crimea or we will impose sanctions that will crush the Russian financial system.
While we in the EU could cripple Russia's economy, why bring her and her banks down?
Is that wise?
What if Moscow responded by cutting off credit cards to Ukraine, calling in Kiev's debts and refusing to buy her goods and raising the price of oil and gas?
That's not to ignore what's going on, but to understand it and to act in the long-term interest of the United States.
Buchanan concludes.
But as for the hawkish owls, to have Ukraine and Georgia brought into NATO, that would give these nations deep inside Russia's space the kind of war guarantee the Kaiser gave Austria in 1914 and the Brits gave Poland in 1939.
Those war guarantees led to two world wars, which historians may yet conclude were the deathblows of Western civilization.
Buchanan, no one says it better.
No one presents a case better than him.
I love the point he made about how we are denying Crimea the vote to secede when we bomb Serbia for 78 days to bring about the secession of Kosovo.
Again, there's no consistency in the actions of the United States government.
It comes down to money always and nothing else hardly matters.
We're going to get to Matt the Copperhead after Eddie makes a comment on this.
You know, we don't pretend to know all the answers.
There's a lot of things out there that we can't really be sure of.
But what we do know is some facts.
And I'd like to go back on the handful of facts we do know.
Fact number one, in 2006, when Putin came into office, Russia was in debt to the Rothschild Jewish-controlled bankers.
They're no longer in debt.
They paid the debt off.
Fact number two, Russia and Putin kicked out the Jewish oligarchs.
They controlled all of the Jewish natural resources.
Excuse me, all of Russia's natural resources.
And they do not have an allegiance to Russia, just like the Jews in the United States do not have an allegiance to the United States.
Their allegiance lies to Zionism and to the country of Israel.
Those are facts.
Also, folks, you know, they're thinking about talking about putting economic sanctions against Russia.
European Union.
Well, guess, you know, the largest, most, by far and away, the largest, most economically strong nation in the EU is Germany.
Germany will be hurt, according to my research, far more than any other nation in the EU because they do the lion's share of their trading with Russia.
So, you know, the Germans, the German politicians are pretty much walking a tightrope on this.
They're scared.
If we alienate the Russians too much, they're going to lose out big time.
And I'd like to say this, too.
Before we went to break, you know, we run out.
We only cover so many things.
But, you know, the Western intelligence, the CIA, MI5, MI6, went into the Crimea and stirred all these people up and got a bogus, bogus, you know, protest going on.
What if the KGB?
And so what if Putin was a leader of the KGB?
You know, old man Bush here in this country here, our first president, was a leader of the CIA.
I ask you, is there a more wicked, more dangerous, more ruthless, more evil organization, the CIA anywhere in the world?
You know, unless it would be the NSA that's also here in this United States.
Listen, what if Russian agents came in here in the United States and stirred up our large population of illegal aliens?
And I don't call them gracious Spaniards.
I call them illegal aliens, Mexicans.
Mexicans just pretty much like the Jewish folks.
They do not have an allegiance to the United States.
They have allegiance to Mexico.
That's where their money goes.
They come over in this country, they work, they send their money back to Ma and Paul and Uncle Sam, Uncle Jose, in Mexico.
That's where their money goes.
What if the KGB agents came to the United States and whipped up the Mexicans into a frenzy, wanted to succeed, and I'd mentioned this in the last show, and wanted to move the capital of Sodom on the Potomac, located in Washington, D.C., to move it down to Mexico City.
Hey, how about them, Apples folks?
What if they come in here and try to stir up the blacks like the communists did back in the 20s and 30s when the communists were looking forward?
They thought they could organize the blacks in the South into a revolutionary force to get them to go into a communist.
They wanted a Russian state here deep in the South.
And I'm going to get James' opinion on that.
Get him to chime in a few things with what I've said.
Eddie, again, right on the money.
And as always, when we talk about these issues and hit them heavy, listen, I want everyone.
I want the Jews to have great and prosperous lives.
But we have to be able as adults to talk about issues like this if they are not acting in the best interest of the United States with regards to the way that they run the media.
And listen, folks, it's not anti-Semitic to say they run the media.
They do.
They admit it.
They brag about it in their own publications.
We've talked about that a thousand times.
You know, to say that movies are degenerate, you saw the Oscars.
Ellen Degenerate was hosting the Oscars here.
Just all that stuff.
And she's not Jewish, of course, but just a pawn of them.
Listen, they're liberal.
I don't like the way they run the banking system.
I don't like that anyone should have so much power over global affairs.
And so we objectively criticize them.
Are all Jews a part of it?
God knows no.
And there are some good ones.
And we're friends with ones that agree with this.
And that's what it's all about.
It's ideological.
That's the big litmus test.
But we always have to put that little disclaimer in because we know we're reaching a large, large audience.
We want to be clear what motivates us to take action and what motivates our thinking.
Matt the Copperhead, been waiting patiently, and we darn near run out of time this segment.
Matt, how you doing, brother?
Good evening, guys.
How you doing?
Doing good.
Yeah, absolutely.
I see tremendous parallels with what's going on in the Crimea and the ethnic Russians on the greater scale through our people in the South.
And really, never more than ever do I see things coming to a head for us as the people to reclaim our ethnic identity and our culture and our religion.
Well, I hope you're right.
And it's so true.
Of course, Putin was a member of the KGB.
You guys just went over this.
You never know what's in a man's heart.
But, you know, as you stated, James, you know, who else even holds a candle to him as far as ethnic nationalism and Christianity?
No one.
You know, and even if he's lying, you know, I'd like for them to lie to me over here.
I mean, they're going to lie to me either way, but I'd like them to at least pose as if they care somewhat about the issues that motivate the vast majority of Americans, which is Christianity and traditional conservative values.
Absolutely.
But one of the most heartwarming things I've seen in a long time, you know, me being a native Floridian, I just saw the picture of Michael Cushman and his fellow Southern patriots downtallahassee today.
Yes.
Protest against Marco Rubio.
Flag of St. Patrick was everywhere.
It was great.
That's right.
They're doing good work down there in Tallahassee and in Northern Florida.
We'll talk more about that as well.
Thank you for the call, Matt.
All the best, guys.

Eddie is going to take 60 seconds to talk about Christianity and the role, its resurgence in Russia as it appears to be resurging at least.
And then we're going to get to Mark the Economist, a good friend of ours who's really been laying it on the line and doing a great job over the course of the last two weeks during he and Eddie's series on the economy.
And he's going to have a few things to say tonight.
I'd just like to kind of wrap this Ukraine thing up tonight by saying one thing, people.
All of my life, I'll be 67 years old, April the 6th, hint hint.
I need running shoes.
But anyway, all my life, I've heard about someday, someday, Lord, maybe Russia will get away from their atheist past and come to Christianity.
Well, people, from what I'm seeing, and once again, I'm talking about facts here.
We went over these facts.
We have a bunch of sodomite Zionists running all eight major studios in Hollywood.
The Sodomite Zionists control all the news media, the radio, the TV, the newspapers, the publications.
Look, we got the sodomites running America.
Sodomites are in the school system.
Who, you know, Christianity is a bad word in the United States.
Look at the Soviets.
Look at Russia.
Russia is just running rings around us as far as good Christian behavior, although they're not perfect.
And that's just what I want to say.
So maybe it's starting.
Maybe it's time we start trying to evangelize the United States and bring us back into Christianity.
Well, that we're going to leave that issue tonight.
And tonight we're going back to you, Mark.
Mark, I would like to apologize to you on the air because I wanted to have you on for a full hour tonight.
The Ukrainian thing has been really hot tonight with live radio.
We were just pretty much duty bound to cover it.
So Mark, what I'd like to, if you can, I would like you to kind of give a brief outline about what you want to hit next week.
We're going to bring you back on, God willing, for a full hour starting at 9 o'clock Eastern, 8 o'clock Central to bring you on for a full hour to talk about economics.
And if there's time, we want to talk about economics in Russia.
And if you could listen to the archives and critique me and tell the audience where I made mistakes and where I didn't in tonight's show.
So are you ready to go with that, Mark?
Yeah, sure.
Fire away, fellas.
It's all yours.
Okay.
Yeah, as far as the Ukrainian situation goes, you know, Russia's been invading the Ukraine since Catherine the Great many centuries, and they're going to continue to do it.
A lot of the Ukraine is like Russian-speaking, and part of it is even the majority Russian population where they're at now, Crimea.
But so this, you know, there's a lot of history here.
And, you know, this is nothing new.
It's been going on for, like I said, hundreds of years.
The thing that like really worries me, though, is the alliances that are forming against the United States.
India is deciding that they're going to back Russia.
They're saying that they have a legitimate interest in the Ukraine.
That really scares me.
You were talking about the BRICS last week, I think it was.
That's right.
And we know that Russia and China are starting to see eye to eye together on a lot of things.
And the United States, as powerful as we are, if these countries align themselves against us, we've got like a real situation on our hands.
And I don't want to single out any political party, but we've been doing a lot of diplomatic blunders and a lot of military blunders out there in the last 10, 12 years.
So, I mean.
Hey, Mark, let me ask you this, James Edwards here.
We were talking earlier about the alliance that Russia and China may form, which makes sense as far as they're concerned, you know, being geographically close together and having some similar interests.
What role, though, does economics and money and banking play in the United States posturing and the posturing of Western Europe against Russia versus that of, well, we just care so much about Ukrainians and Ukrainian sovereignty that we're going to risk, you know, I don't want to be sensational and say World War III, but, you know, how much is it is just economically related and money related to what's going on here?
Well, it's Putin, he's not, Putin is like very smart.
In 2008, when he invaded Georgia, he did it when we were having our financial meltdown.
I don't think that was like a coincidence.
And Putin's pushing us like really hard right now because we just spent more money as a percentage of the gross domestic product than we did during World War II to like bail out these banks.
You know, we spent like trillions of dollars to bail out these banks.
You know, the Federal Reserve printed this money up more so as a percent than during World War II.
He knows that we're weak.
He knows that the Central European central bankers are weak.
You know, everybody is leveraged to ungodly levels.
Like our Federal Reserve is leveraged 74 to 1 the last time I checked, which is insane.
And, you know, I think he's taking advantage of it.
I think he knows that if we had like another major war effort, what could happen to us is what exactly happened to the old USSR.
You know what, Mark, you mentioned the BRICS nations again, and you're right.
We did cover that previously, but this is coming into play this week with the development moving forward and escalating.
If the BRICS nations come in together with Russia, there is just no way on earth the United States is going to be able to do anything with Russia.
I mean, you know what?
In a heartbeat, you know, Russia has kind of counteracted United States threat to take economic action against Russia.
My friend, and you correct me if I'm wrong, if the BRICS nation, if Russia starts, especially followed by China, some of the BRICS nations, if they start shorting United States bonds or selling the trillions of dollars of bonds they have United States bonds, that would wreck, that would absolutely destroy the United States economy, wouldn't it, Mark?
Yeah, if they decided to go to like a different currency and start like China, they own, I think it's like $1.1 trillion worth of T-bills.
You know, if China start, they sold like $48 billion, which is like nothing last month, and there was like a big panic.
You know, just imagine if they decide, oh, we're going to sell like $200 billion next month and then like another $300 billion.
Yeah, you're darn right.
You know, there's going to be like a big panic.
And you're going to see like that T-bill drop like a rock.
You know, it's going to go, you know, you're going to, we're going to have to start raising interest rates, which we can't.
Well, Mark, you're just, you're playing right into our hands here with what we're thinking.
So why would America risk that reality over a situation in which we have no vital interest at all?
It really doesn't matter to the United States if Crimea is part of Ukraine or Russia when you take into account the catastrophic effect that Russia could have on us if they do exactly what you're mentioning.
Hey, Mark, I'm going to say, I'm going to put, I'm going to interject right here, and you tell me if I'm wrong.
Mark, the reason the United States would want to do that, the only possible reason I can think of is because, and we talked about it in the past, Mark, you and I were private and on this show.
The globalists who control the world right now, they're wanting to run us, get us into a one-world government with a one-world currency.
Before they can get the United States into a one-world currency, they're going to have to destroy the currency that we have and the currency that other nations have.
Could that be a motive there, Mark?
And I'm tossing the ball back into your corpfella.
Yeah, I don't know.
You know, I just think that they just let this get like totally out of hand.
I don't know what their motives are.
I can't say like what their motives are.
But this is, you know, those European central banks and the American central banks, Venezuela, you know, they're all kind of like interconnected, have just totally like blown this leveraged up like way beyond anything reasonable and rational.
And I think like when it crashes, and I don't know when it's going to crash, but it will crash.
I think when it crashes, there's going to be like a reaction, and it may not be the reaction that they want.
You know, it may be the exact opposite reaction that they want.
I think you might see like towards a big movement towards decentralization and going back to like gold and silver standards.
So, you know, there's like, I think it's the second law of physics for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.
You know, I'm kind of like optimistic.
I'm hoping things go like exactly 180 degrees opposite of whatever they want.
You go, Mark.
Just this very day, I had a little conversation with my grandson, who I'm very proud of.
He works.
He goes to school.
He's really the better citizen I ever hoped to be.
He's making money now.
And I told him, I said, I won't use his name in the air, but I told him we need to talk about, I'll just call him Henry.
Henry, we need to get together and talk about saving a substantial portion of these dollars, this paper money you're making, and getting into a gold and silver because we used the analogy all the way back to Abraham.
When Abraham buried his wife Sarah, he bought the land, the cave that she was buried in was silver.
So silver and gold has been around for thousands of years.
So I may be going down a rabbit trail, but I would advise anybody, if they have any money at all, to maybe pop up and go into gold and silver.
And Mark, you know what?
I didn't think about that, but you may be 100% right.
We may go back to more decentralization.
And I hope that's the case.
Mark, go ahead.
I think people don't realize how brief fiat money is going to last.
We're going to go back to gold and silver.
It's just a matter of when because people down there in Venezuela, when they're 56% inflation rate going to 300%, they're only going to put up with that so long.
And people can get fed up.
When that happens here in the United States, people can get fed up really quick.
And there's things that want to go back to real money.
We'll talk more about it next week.
We had intended to get close to wrapping up the economic series tonight.
We pushed you, Mark, and we apologize for that.
You'll be back with us next week.
And folks, we'll see you then for Eddie the Bombardier Miller, Keith Alexander, our guest, Mark, the economist tonight, the rest of the staff and crew in Memphis and at our network in Utah.
I'm James Edwards.
God bless you, folks.
We love you.
