unidentified
A horrific murder has gone viral.
It's the biggest story in the country right now.
tim pool
Democrats aren't talking about it.
The liberal mainstream media is not talking about it.
unidentified
And likely because it is, well, most people make the assumption, a black man brutally murdered a young white woman.
People believe that it is predominantly the race, as is the reason why the story is not getting national coverage except on social media.
When you look at the Daniel Penny story, you had a black man on a train threatening to kill people, and Penny stopped this man, and unfortunately, this man lost his life.
Penny was not trying to kill him, didn't even know he was dead.
They tried to put him in prison for the rest of his life.
We have another story.
The story that you're seeing right now on the screen, for those that are watching, is not in fact about Irina Zarutska, who was brutally murdered on the train.
It's about a veterinary professor who was also stabbed to death in a similar fashion while walking her dog in a park.
Another story just happened, very similarly.
And you know what?
This one's actually getting a little bit of coverage.
Now, are the big players sharing this?
They're not.
It's not going viral among these big news outlets not talking about it.
They ignore these stories.
So now we have, in the span of a couple of days, two big stories.
One, a young woman was leaving work, went on a train, and was mercilessly stabbed and brutally murdered for no reason.
Donald Trump has called this out.
He says, this is going to stop.
And then this morning, another breaking story.
On Saturday, a professor was walking her dog in a park when a black man stabbed her to death, seemingly for no reason.
Stole her car, abandoned it, and fled.
The question is why.
Now, it may surprise you to find that people actually put up fundraisers for the ex-con who was accused of murder.
He's on video doing it.
People were actually trying to raise money for this guy.
Now, why is the media covering this up?
There's another component to this story.
And when Axios, corporate outlet, finally does talk about this, they say it fuels the MAGA agenda.
That MAGA has latched onto this murder for their crime narrative.
Wow, no, I think it was just kind of a brutal murder in public that didn't have to happen with people sitting around watching this young woman lose her life.
And it didn't have to happen because the man who is seen on video raising his arm and killing her.
He had been arrested before and he could have been locked up.
And now we have another story already.
Donald Trump has put out a statement saying that Chicago will learn why we call it the Department of War.
And Democrats say he's declaring war on us.
tim pool
Ridiculous.
unidentified
It's making a stupid joke.
Now, I'm eternally grateful to the president for bringing the focus onto Chicago, my hometown.
I'm from the Garfield Ridge area of Chicago.
We never called it that.
tim pool
We just called it Midway because where the airport is.
unidentified
But the actual name is Garfield Ridge.
And it's prominent gang territory.
Not the worst part of Chicago, but certainly closer to the bad side.
When people say south side, they tend to refer to like, I don't know, 45th and Halstead maybe, or closer to 95th.
Southwest Side Midway isn't the worst, but it is still one of the historic gang areas in Chicago.
And so we'll be joined later on by a woman from Chicago running for Congress who agrees with the president.
And I also from Chicago agree with the president.
And we want to see our city protected.
But first, I need to tell you about what's going on with this crime and why we need something to change.
Now, this story by this Auburn professor is just breaking this morning, despite happening on Saturday.
And it's not as far and wide as the Irina Zarutska story, which has become the biggest story in the country, as it should.
These other stories, I think this one in particular, you do need to know about.
Before we get started, my friends, we have some great sponsors today.
We got AmericanFinancing.net.
Check out AmericanFinancing.net slash Tim.
If you've been living on credit cards just to cover your groceries, gas bills, you know those interest rates are brutal.
tim pool
Why keep paying 20% or more to the banks when you could call our friends over at American Financing?
unidentified
They got mortgage rates in the fives.
And they are showing people every day how to keep more of your hard-earned money in your pocket and out of the hands of credit card companies.
tim pool
Right now, American Financing is helping homeowners save an average of $800 a month by using their homes equity to wipe out high-interest debt with no upfront fees, no obligation, and just a 10-minute call to a salary-based mortgage consultant.
unidentified
And here's the kicker.
If you start today, you could delay two mortgage payments, putting even more cash in your hands right away.
tim pool
Don't wait.
unidentified
Call American Financing now at 866-890-7811.
That's 866-890-7811.

Now, what is Beam Dream?
tim pool
It is delicious hot cocoa with magnesium, L-theanine.
unidentified
It's got vitamins.
It's fantastic.
I say magnesium.
And it helps sleep.
Now, I had been getting normal sleep for a long time.
I thought I was doing pretty all right.
I was sleeping not too much.
I wasn't sleeping enough hours, and I thought I was okay.
And Christy, I was like, let me give myself an extra hour of sleep.
I'll try to go to bed earlier.
And my sleep score was pretty good.
It was like the high 80s.
And I'm like, it's pretty good.
What am I going to do, right?
I get Beam Dream.
tim pool
I drink this every night before bed.
unidentified
I had a delicious glass of the brownie batter last night.
I sleep beautifully.
I wake up feeling like a million bucks, like there's lightning surging through.
I got energy.
tim pool
I did not know my sleep could have improved.
unidentified
And to be honest, for me, I think it's the magnesium.
It's got melatonin, but I think I need the magnesium, you know.
tim pool
For me, that was it.
unidentified
So my friends, you definitely got to check out Beam Dream.
tim pool
Use promo code TimPool.
Go to beam.com slash Tim Pool.
unidentified
Actually, is it Timcast and Tim Pool?
They gave me both.
I guess they both work.
I don't know what they're trying to track, but I'm a huge fan.
tim pool
I'm a huge, huge fan of Beam Dream.
unidentified

Community events, our official newsletter, and the community where you guys can share ideas, build things together.
Community is the most important thing we can do right now with population collapse, with all of the troubles that we're facing going forward in the future.
The most important thing is creating bonds between you and other people in your community and having that community.
unidentified
I ain't even kidding.
tim pool
I'm not even kidding.
I'm talking to everybody I know about this.
Like, if you're opening a skate shop, if you're open a game shop, if you're open a burger joint, you need to focus on your local community and get people to come consistently to share ideas and to be connected.
unidentified
Otherwise, we are in trouble.
But let's jump to the news, my friends, from the New York Post.
Pint-sized Auburn veterinary professor hacked to death by fiend while walking her dog in the park.
Now, I don't want to downplay this story because I want to get to the big news about Irina Zarutska and how the media has ignored this.
And I believe it is only because of the arena story, this poor young woman, that we are learning about this poor veterinary professor who was brutally murdered.
Julie Gard Schnuel, 59, a professor in Auburn, I believe Auburn, Alabama, was hacked to death.
She had driven to the park with her dog in her Ford F-150.
tim pool
The dog stuck by her body.
unidentified
The truck was recovered on Sunday, a couple minutes' drive away.
Harold Rashad Dabney III, 28, was arrested and charged with capital murder.
Auburn Outlet Openline reported.
Now, I will say this.
He's been accused.
We don't know for sure.
In the arena story, the reason why it's so brutal and such a big story is because we have video evidence.
tim pool
The video has been published, and it's terrifying.
unidentified
But it looks like, once again, another story.
Officers in contact with Dabney made observations that led them to believe Dabney had involved in the homicide that incurred.
He is being held without bond.
News of Schnool's killing left the community stunned with locals and even state reps paying tribute to her.
Well, here's the story for those that may have missed it.
I covered it this morning, but this is, I, you know, as I'm, as I'm doing the research on this, another story emerges.
Another similar story.
Young Ukrainian refugees subway stabbing death fuels uproar.
Take a look at this image, the precursor.
I know it may be shocking to some from September 6th from Saturday.
And I'm sure YouTube won't appreciate it, but it doesn't matter.
End Wokeness says, zero AP stories, zero PBS, zero New York Times, zero NPR, zero Wall Street Journal, zero BBC, zero CNN, zero WAPO.
Now, when you see this story, this is from Charlotte, where it happened.
tim pool
This young woman leaving work sat down unsuspecting, and this man for no reason pulled out a knife and decided to end her life.
It makes no sense.
unidentified
It's just insanity, and it doesn't have to happen.
Now, I had said if one National Guardsman was sitting on that train, this wouldn't have happened because people are scared about someone who has the ability, the capability to stop you and protect others.
But this guy knows because he's been arrested before.
He will get away with it.
DeCarlos Brown Jr., 34, was arrested, charged with first-degree murder.
It was August 22nd.
She was sitting in front of him on the light rail in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She was attacked from behind.
Take a look at this.
Where we are as a nation.
First, I already showed you how most of the corporate liberal news outlets did not cover the story.
tim pool
They didn't care.
unidentified
Oh, but George Floyd is the apocalypse.
George Floyd was a local news story that went national.
The cops in that story probably could have acted better, but George Floyd was on drugs, demanded to be pulled out of the car, resisted arrest, was placed on the ground, and Chauvin arrived after the fact.
The man's already on the ground.
Chauvin arrives and applies a hold that the police department trained him to do.
I'm not saying it was good.
I'm not saying he should have done it.
I'm saying these are the facts of the case.
He went to prison over this.
It became the biggest story in the country.
They say the murder of George Floyd.
It's just evil.
tim pool
The lies, the manipulation, and it's just evil.
unidentified
George Floyd's death was accidental, and you could argue negligence.
It's true, Chauvin was on him for like nine minutes.
But the idea that he was murdered intentionally by a cop, no, more so, it was negligence.
It shouldn't have happened.
But these men, even the cop who was holding the crowd back, who had no idea what was going on, went to prison.
Chauvin was stabbed, what, 21 times in prison?
This was a national news story.
And okay, okay, I'm not saying it shouldn't have been.
tim pool
I'm pointing out that this is ignored by the media.
unidentified
See, in the George Floyd story, we are forced to react to it.
tim pool
We have to then say, here's what they're telling us the news is, and here's what we think.
unidentified
And we do.
tim pool
We do react to it.
unidentified
With this story, the reaction was largely: why have you ignored this?
Why do we have stories like this going viral and we don't get the same degree of concern?
tim pool
People are upset.
unidentified
Trump says he wants to put a stop to this crime.
tim pool
The Democrats tell him he's wrong.
unidentified
I'm going to say it again.
I can tell you all the stories in the world about growing up in Chicago.
I would appreciate the National Guard being deployed.
Megan Kelly said you can't just do this for law enforcement, but she's not wrong.
It's not about law enforcement.
It's about having the National Guard come and help clean up the community.
I mean, literally, clean it up, clean up the garbage.
Just by being there, they deter the crime.
I'd appreciate it.
Now look at this.
GoFundMe polls, horrific fundraisers for ex-con DeCarles Brown Jr. accused of murdering Ukrainian refugee on a train.
Can you believe this?
Now, he only raised five bucks, but people are trying to raise money for this guy.
I'm assuming it's real.
It's absolutely insane.
But of course, you know it.
tim pool
You know it.
unidentified
The story from the Daily Mail: beloved Auburn University professor stabbed to death while walking her dog.
Now take a look at Axios.
Stabbing video fuels MAGA's crime message.
I believe this is the first time Axios has actually written about the story.
Wait till you see what they say in this.
It'll make your blood boil.
MAGA influencers are drawing repeated attention to violent attacks to elevate the issue of urban crime and accuse mainstream media of undercovering shocking cases.
I'm going to say it like this.
tim pool
When the story broke, I'm not surprised the corporate press wasn't on top of it.
unidentified
A couple local news outlets had written about it.
But when you see the story going viral, you're right about it.
Any one of these outlets, AP, New York Times, or otherwise, could have said a story gaining massive traction, here's what happened.
And they could have done it Saturday, Sunday, or whenever.
The story happened August 22nd.
They said nothing.
But wait, it gets worse.
Shocking video of the fatal August 22nd knife attack on 23-year-old Irina Zarutska in a light rail car in Charlotte, North Carolina, dominated weekend conversation on Trump-friendly social media.
tim pool
What?
unidentified
You mean on Axe and YouTube?
They say, the big picture, the rising number of surveillance cameras in public spaces, including in Charlotte's light rail, has become a big accelerant.
tim pool
The video is easily shared or leaked.
unidentified
And you can instantly pollinate across social media a visual counterpoint to statistics showing crime decreases.
I have never wanted to punch my monitor harder.
Well, okay, there's stories that make me really angry.
Excuse me, Axios?
tim pool
The fact that we know it's happening now is the problem, is the issue?
unidentified
You can pollinate a video of a brutal murder, not the murder itself.
Thank God we have cameras and we know it's happening.
What a psychotic world these people are trying to create or have created.
President Trump asked about the Charlotte video by a reporter on Sunday, said he wanted to find out more.
I'll know all about it tomorrow morning, Trump said.
tim pool
A Trump advisor told Axios is exactly what he's talking about.
unidentified
And it's going to be an issue he's going to highlight.
It's not just about North Carolina.
tim pool
Other campaigns also deal with this.
unidentified
Elon Musk repeatedly posted about the Charlotte case this weekend for his 225 million X followers.
Also commenting on X. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Trump confidant Charlie Kirk, Senator Mike Lee, and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
Well, it happened on a train.
North Carolina Senate candidate Michael Watley, a former chair of the National GOP, invoked the case to accuse his Democratic opponent, Governor, Goy, Governor Roy Cooper, of being soft on crime.
Charlotte Mayor V. Lyles called it a heartbreaking attack.
Zarutska recently arrived in Charlotte from Ukraine to escape war there, the Charlotte Observer reports.
The suspect, Carlos Brown Jr., was charged with first-degree murder.
His criminal record includes armed robbery, felony larceny, breaking and entering, and shoplifting, according to jail records.
Mecklenburg County District Attorney Spencer Merriweather, in an interview with Axios Charlotte last week, didn't comment directly on the case, but acknowledged the limitations and complexities of holding defendants with mental issues accountable.
Watley wrote an X that in June 2020, Cooper signed a soft on crime executive order, and just three months later, Brown was released from prison.
The executive order established a racial profiling task force and sought to reduce systemic racism.
I've dealt with this in Chicago.
We all have.
Cooper's campaign accused Watley of lying and said Roy Cooper prosecuted violent criminals and drug dealers, increased the penalties for violence against law enforcement, and kept thousands of criminals off the streets and behind bars.
Watley spokesperson Daniel Alvarez countered that Brown was released from prison early, just as Cooper was spending more time talking about fighting racism and less about keeping career criminals like Brown locked up.
But wait, there's more.
I love this from Axios.
MAGA erupts after Israeli official charged and child sex ring flees the United States.
Now, with all due respect, Tal Axelrod, I don't mind covering the story about the reaction from conservatives.
And this is just as an aside.
tim pool
The point is, you can literally just write about the Israeli official charged in a sex ring fleeing.
You don't need the headline to be MAGA erupts.
unidentified
In fact, the story is the Israeli official.
And then in that story, you write, MAGA, here's how they responded.
The point is, it's not the first time they frame stories like this.
Stabbing video fuels MAGA's crime message.
Why not just write, story goes viral, here's the reaction.
They could literally write, brutal murder has taken, you know, dominates weekend narrative.
Murder of Irina Zaritska could be the centerfold.
Then you can say, after the fact, here's the reaction from people.
That's not what we get.
Now, of course, Trump has responded to this, as we've seen.
He said, I just give my love and hope to the family of the young woman who was stabbed this morning or last night in Charlotte by a madman.
Now, it wasn't.
It was a couple weeks ago.
But of course, the media does not report on these stories.
And here's the point.
If you get a George Floyd story, whether we want to or not, to talk about it, the corporate press will write about it.
They will carry that story.
Then, when you get the brutal murder of a young woman, they don't.
And even when we say, hey, maybe we should talk about this, they say, look at MAGA pouncing on an issue.
Guys, I don't understand why this isn't news.
This woman was brutally murdered.
I understand why this video gets more attention than, say, the Auburn Professor.
tim pool
There's a video of it.
unidentified
That's true.
But the Auburn Professor story is comparable.
And it's being written about by the New York Post.
These stories should not happen.
Which brings us to Chicago.
Senator Tammy Duckworth says Trump essentially just declared war on Chicago, but there's no indications of deployment.
This is the attitude they give us.
J.B. Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, screams in our faces, no deployments.
Mayor Johnson says we will resist.
We will fight back.
And you want to know where we're at right now?
Take a look at this.
We got this tweet from Gunther Eagleman.
People in Chicago are preparing for a civilian showdown with federal officers.
No, they're not.
tim pool
This is just not true.
unidentified
The average person in Chicago isn't paying attention at all.
Beginning tonight at 2 a.m. Chicago is going to see the largest military presence in the entire history of Chicago.
That's not correct.
Beginning tonight at 2 a.m.
tim pool
That's false.
colton lexus
The critters will be crawling their way through Little Village, and they will be wreaking havoc door to door, dragging people out of their homes and placing them into custody.
unidentified
Not true.
So I'm letting the public know right now.
Prepare.
Get ready for a civilian showdown.
It won't happen.
I'm done calling it a music festival.
This is a civilian showdown.
colton lexus
We all need to participate in protecting and defending the lives of innocent people.
unidentified
This is what I have been working so hard to protect and prepare people for.
I'm just sad for my city.
I'm sad for my city, man.
In this video, they say this gang member is issuing a warning to Trump stating not to send troops to Chicago, warning that the gangs will beat the National Guard.
They won't.
I can tell you they won't.
Let's talk about the gangs in Chicago, man.
I got stories for you guys.
Trump, do not send the National Guards to Chicago, gang.
Do not, I repeat, do not do it.
We are a different fucking breed out here.
We are not Los Angeles.
Nigga, we are not Washington, D.C. That's right.
Nigga, this is Chicago, nigga.
He's right.
Them niggas go fight back.
I'm telling you, them niggas go fight back, gang.
I don't give a fuck what you're talking about.
Them young niggas got switches, gang.
They're not going for that shit, bro.
I know church outside, oh, it's the National Guard.
They can't do anything about it.
They must go in Chicago.
Nigga, do y'all know that it's more bad people than good people, bro?
There are over 100,000 gangs in Chicago by the city.
tim pool
That's not true either.
unidentified
Trump do not send in there.
I want to, maybe 100,000 gang members, but let me just pull up the quick math.
How many gangs in Chicago recognize, you know, kids are always calling themselves gangs all the time, but let's get the hard numbers on this one.
It's double digits, probably.
There's 100 gangs, triple digits, wow.
Around 150,000 gang-affiliated individuals.
The DOJ estimates, okay, so 70 to 75 gangs with over 100,000 members of Chicago.
So that's it.
So it's not 100, 775, according to the DOJ.
The Chicago Police Department tracks 55 known gangs with 747 factions.
But it's one gang.
They operate in different areas, but they have the same bosses.
Crime in Chicago says about 100,000 active gang members.
Yeah, different math.
I'm going to first say this.
Chicago gangs, he's right.
It's not LA.
It's not D.C.
It's not New York.
Yo, LA's got its gangs, man.
But Chicago gangs, they go harder than any other gangs I've seen in the country.
No joke.
Bro, no joke.
Gangs in Chicago do not mess around.
And they are tough.
He says they'll fight back.
tim pool
I say they won't.
unidentified
They won't.
And I'll tell you why.
Listen, I grew up on the South Side.
You guys all know this, beating a dead horse.
I get it.
We had a bunch of gangs that existed in our area.
It's funny because like a lot of Catholic gang bishops, the disciples, the popes.
I'm not even kidding.
Like, I don't know the history of that, but yeah.
Let me tell you this.
Now, some of these gangs are crazy.
Some of them are crazy.
Most of them are not crazy, but they will not tolerate disrespect.
I've talked to film crews before.
I remember when Vice did some documentaries in Chicago with gangs.
And I asked them, like, what were they doing for security?
And they were like, nothing.
And I was like, like, they were like, when we were there, yeah.
I'm like, no, no, but after the fact.
And they were like, nothing.
And I was like, bro, you guys are marked.
You can't go to Chicago, embed with a gang, make them look cool and strong and tough on camera.
The other gangs won't tolerate that because you're giving them access, you're giving them clout, you're giving them power.
And when gangs are at war, they're going to be like, bro, these gang members aren't dumb.
There's a reason behind why they take issue with this.
I think, I can't remember what it was.
tim pool
Was it 6'7, Kevin?
I'm not sure.
unidentified
But there was a crew.
Maybe it wasn't.
We were interviewing some guys and they were doing an embed with a gang in Chicago and a drive-by happened.
They unloaded and actually shot the camera guy.
The gangs do this because they're like, listen, all the gangs are fighting for recruitment, fighting for territory.
tim pool
They're not always at war with each other.
unidentified
But if someone embeds with this gang and you push a documentary, you generate attention and effective brand value for them, they're going to have an easier time getting recruiting.
Even if you think you're making them look bad, they're going to be able to find money.
They're going to be able to cut deals.
It's benefiting them and say, you are helping my enemy.
It's like, imagine if you were an American reporter, for instance, and you went to Ukraine, but you were critical of Ukrainian government.
It's almost like, could you imagine what would happen?
The Ukrainian government arresting an American reporter and then killing him?
tim pool
Exactly.
unidentified
These guys, I'm not going to, they're not rocket scientists, like they're not university degrees, but they're not insane.
They may be aggressive.
They may be brutal.
They may be ruthless, but they're not going to fight Trump.
I'll tell you what's going to happen.
National Guard comes out, and these guys are going to say, Don't bring the heat.
I was talking about earlier talking about this warning, but I'll say it not for this context.
They're going to say, Don't bring the heat if you don't have to.
Okay?
If the National Guard comes in and there's trucks everywhere and they take over a territory, the gangs are going to be like they just iced us out.
You're not going to win that fight.
All you're going to do is get arrested, lose money, and bring more heat.
Let's say there's two National Guard in an area.
They're going to say, Do your thing.
Do not cross the National Guard.
Don't be stupid.
You're going to bring it.
tim pool
They say it's about cops.
unidentified
That's why when this guy's like, they're going to fight back.
Listen, how often do we hear about police getting in shadows with the gangbangers?
tim pool
It happens, but it's not happening all the time.
unidentified
Okay.
The cops roll up.
The gangbangers say, we don't want the fight.
So it happens.
It does.
But they don't want the heat and they'll avoid it.
In my neighborhood, I guarantee it at our local park.
You can look up Vidum Park, V-I-T-T-U-M.
tim pool
That's where I grew up.
unidentified
If we had two National Guard just walking around the park, sitting in the playground, the muggings would have stopped.
The gangbangers would have stopped coming.
To be fair, the gangbangers probably still be there.
They'd just be hanging out, but they'd keep a low profile.
Less shakedowns.
Yo, there was counterfeiting.
It was wild, dude.
The counterfeiting was wild.
And there was an ice cream truck, and the counterfeiters would just clean their money through the ice cream truck.
I guess there was like a company owned a fleet of ice cream trucks.
And so it would park in front of the playground because we'd all hang out there.
tim pool
We'd buy ice cream.
It was soft serve.
It was awesome.
unidentified
And there were dudes who would bring, I've only ever heard the stories I've ever seen them do it, but there were guys who'd go up there and buy.
And the guy who was running, who was selling ice cream, didn't own the truck.
So he would just take the counterfeit money and then hand them the real cash.
tim pool
That's how they cleaned it.
unidentified
It's wild.
Happened all the time.
If the National Guard was there, stuff like that might still happen.
But slinging dope and muggings would definitely not happen because the gang's going to be like this.
Listen, National Guard comes in.
The gangs are like we selling in 10 areas.
Okay, we lose one area, whatever, just go somewhere else.
But if you get into it with them, they're going to come into our territory and they're going to screw up business.
The gangs are aggressive.
They do fight.
They are violent.
They are tough.
They don't take disrespect, but they're not morons.
That's the thing people don't understand about traveling the world.
It's like they think people can't do one plus one equals two.
So when he says the gangs are going to fight back, it's like, bro, it could happen only through accidental circumstances.
But the gang leaders, I tell you this because I've met them, I've known them.
They're going to say, bro, I make money doing this, man.
Don't cost me money.
They'll be pissed.
tim pool
It's like any movie.
unidentified
The mob boss is going to come in and be like, why are you getting me involved in this, dude?
So I say this about this cover-up, about this story.
I think we need the National Guard.
I think we need something to be done because we can't just keep living this way.
100,000 gang members, shootings, all that stuff.
Chicago clearly isn't doing what they need to do.
I'm going to wrap it up there, my friends.
We've actually, we're going to be joined by Christian Maxwell.
She's from Chicago.
She's running for Congress in Bobby, I believe it's Bobby Rush's district.
I'm going to talk to her about what's going on in Chicago.
I haven't been there in 20 years.
Just shy 20 years.
It's been 16 years.
And I'm curious what she thinks.
And I'm really excited to talk to somebody from Chicago.
And so we can get this message to the people about what Trump's plan is and why.
I'm pretty sure we're going to agree on a lot of things.
tim pool
We may have a different perspective.

For those that are watching live, we'll keep going.
But for us you, we'll see you all in the next segment.
For everybody else, here's a story from the New York Times.
tim pool
Trump downplays post threatening Chicago, saying he wants to clean up city.
unidentified
The president had said on social media that Chicago is about to find out why it's called the Department of War, drawing a fierce rebuke from Democrats.
Now, I'll tell you what I find funny in this.
All the liberals, not from Chicago, telling me from the south side.
that I'm wrong, that my opinions are wrong.
I'm like, bro, you don't live there.
You don't live there.
Okay.
Megan Kelly's got a video.
She did a show.
tim pool
She said, Trump can't just send in the National Guard to enforce the law everywhere.
unidentified
That's clearly not legal.
Gavin Newsom says, ah, the base is splintering.
tim pool
No, she's not wrong.
unidentified
I'm not asking Trump going send the National Guard to enforce the law.
tim pool
I'm saying the presence is welcome.
unidentified
They'll clean up trash.
They'll make everything nicer.
And it stops the crime.
In fact, in the black community, often we saw this from Gallup polling across the country.
They are asking for more police presence to help deal with the crime.
So I'm going to say this to all those liberals.
I say, I would love it in my neighborhood if we saw this.
And these people from New York, from the northern suburbs, from the wealthier areas, they say, nah, it's ridiculous.
So here's what we're going to do.
We've got a woman running for office.
We're going to bring her in and she's going to tell us about what's going on and what she thinks and what she thinks needs to happen.
All right.
Let's get it set up, load it up.
Takes a quick second.
Christian, can you hear me?
Yes, I can hear you.
Thanks for joining me.
tim pool
Do you want to just introduce yourself real quickly to everybody?
unidentified
Yes, for sure.
So thank you again for having me on the show.
My name is Christian Maxwell, and I'm currently a candidate for Congress in Illinois, a Republican candidate.
christian maxwell
So not the most popular thing to be in this state.
unidentified
But I'm Illinois born and raised.
And then I came to Chicago to pursue school and I ended up marrying my, finding my husband here and marrying him.
And that's how I ended up being a resident of this amazing city.
So right now I'm just in the middle of the fight that a lot of people are in, which is figuring out how to make Chicago a livable place once again.
So that's the thing I'm excited to talk about with you today.
Yeah, you're running in congressional district number one.
Was that that was Bobby Rush's district?
Yes.
And then now most people don't even know, but it's not Bobby Rush anymore.
It's Jonathan Jackson.
So Jesse Jackson's son, but he flies so low under the radar with his effort that people literally don't even know this man exists.
All right.
Very easy opening question.
Should Trump send in the National Guard?
Yes, I do believe Trump should send in the National Guard.
And there's a few key reasons for this.
So when you think about the National Guard, the entire purpose of the National Guard is to do in-country work.
The whole concept of people kind of looking at it like a like SEAL team is being deployed on Nash on U.S. soil to police and kind of like detain American citizens.
That's just not what the National Guard is.
And it's really not, it's really sad to see them looked at the way they're being looked at right now, like an enemy force that's going to be against the American citizens.
Their entire purpose is to provide support to states while also being able to access federal funding so states don't have to bear the burden of needing those extra resources.
So what we see in a lot of other states right now is that a lot, people keep bringing up like, oh, red states, he needs to send them to red states first.
Well, the issue is that a lot of red states are already having multiple federal task force or federal integrated task force where they're working with the federal government and leveraging those resources.
And they have an open door policy.
They're not hiding their ICE, their immigration data from the federal government.
christian maxwell
They're not lying about who's being released from Cook County jail.
unidentified
They're not doing that.
They're saying, hey, this person, we just released this person who's not actually a citizen.
They're yours now.
And then ICE is able to go do what they need to do.
But in Illinois, what we see is that our governor has us literally on lockdown, pretty much.
It's like a wall around Illinois, and he does not want any federal intervention unless it's a check.
So yes, we do need the National Guard.
Democrats have run Chicago for what, 100 years?
Oh, gosh, they've had a stronghold forever.
christian maxwell
In this district alone, the district I'm running for, I would be breaking a century, a century of Democratic rule.
It would literally be crazy.
unidentified
So I don't know if you're familiar, but I won't talk about it.
I grew up in Chicago.
tim pool
I grew up on the south side in the Garfield Ridge.
unidentified
I love that.
Yeah.
I've told the stories over and over again about my neighborhood.
There's an area that used to be called the Leclerc.
It's still called the Leclerc Courts, but they bulldozed it.
And I actually had a debate on Friday with a liberal who was from New York.
And the reason why I bring this up, after 100 years of Democrat supermajority, congressionally, you know, at the federal level, at the state level.
Everything.
The crime hasn't stopped.
The gangs still control a lot of these areas.
tim pool
The police have been unable to get a handle on this.
unidentified
And where I grew up, I made this joke to one of the shows the day before.
I was like, oh, I mean, Chicago's not that bad.
I mean, I was only shot at like two or three times as a kid.
My friend only saw one corpse dragged through an alley.
We only got mugged by gangbangers, you know, 15 times.
Like the joke is that shouldn't be happening.
So the question I have for you, especially with you running for office is, you know, when I ask like, should the National Guard come in, it's clearly because the policies aren't working.
tim pool
Why do you think after a century they have not been able to get a handle on this crime?
unidentified
One second.
And what should they be doing?
So what I think they should be doing.
christian maxwell
So I think as far as the policies, I do believe that the one issue I see right now with a lot of liberals is that they really do want to just do a one-size-fits-all approach to this.
unidentified
So they're like, you know what?
christian maxwell
We just want to talk to these people.
unidentified
We want to talk to them and we want to give them supplies.
And that the only reason they're doing criminal things is because they don't have enough stuff.
I don't know that sounds bad.
But here's the thing.
christian maxwell
There really is a group of people who it's not about how much stuff they have.
unidentified
They are just inherently bad people.
And I know that that's something that people don't want to talk about for some reason, but there really are people who are beyond the reach of a dialogue, whether it's a mental health situation or just a, you know, just being so inundated with criminality that now it really is just the only way you look at life.
christian maxwell
There are some people who are just inherently bad, whether they're rapers, murderers, drug dealers, you know, like whatever the situation is, there is no talking to them.
They're bad.
So no amount of affordable housing, no amount of food stamps, no truck parked in their neighborhood with vegetables and cucumbers is going to change how they approach life.
unidentified
Yeah, that you can do that for kids.
Please do that for kids.
christian maxwell
Please do that for women in these neighborhoods.
Please do that for people who want to change.
But for the people who are not interested in changing, no, we don't want to give them more resources.
unidentified
Here's what it looks like, though.
christian maxwell
When you do open up resources to people who just have a criminal nature, what they end up doing is you'll open up more senior living facilities and then you'll see their grandsons, these older women, their grandsons will infiltrate the senior living facility and be in their apartment unit and they can't even get them out.
tim pool
Wow.
unidentified
You know, like there's, there's a lot of situations like that or women will have Section 8 and then they'll have a boyfriend who's living there who's dealing drugs out of a Section 8 unit.
And it's like, yeah, this is the housing that she should have because she has children.
But her boyfriend is literally not doing a single thing to provide for that household and is not incentivized to do so because his biggest cost is already covered.
And it's Section 8.
You have food stamps too.
What are you working for?
It's, oh, yeah.
tim pool
I mean, that's another huge issue in the city, but it's so entrenched.
unidentified
And so, you know, for me, when I was talking to my friends from the South, I mean, it's southwest.
tim pool
I don't want to act like it's, you know, 45th or something, but we're by Midway Airport, Le Claire Quartz area.
unidentified
And I said, which would you prefer?
tim pool
The muggings at our local park or a handful of National Guard picking up trash and walking around the park.
unidentified
Everybody laughs because they're like, no one fears National Guard.
They're not going to arrest you.
christian maxwell
No.
tim pool
In DC, they're cleaning up garbage, but that presence.
unidentified
So you talk about, you know, putting a vegetable cart in this neighborhood is not going to stop crime.
tim pool
It's certainly not.
unidentified
But there is a pressure created by having National Guard present, not enforcing logistics being there.
Yes.
And it's fascinating that it is the well-to-do liberals in the wealthier neighborhoods telling me, my friends, and my family, the protection we're asking for is illegal, illegitimate, and we don't deserve it.
Yes.
Yeah.
And I think that for them, because me and my husband are foodies.
So we drive all over the city.
christian maxwell
Like we will drive 30 minutes for donuts.
unidentified
Like that's how intense how heavy we are into food.
So I drive to all neighborhoods.
Like I'll go anywhere, you know, for cool food.
And what I end up seeing a lot on these Saturday mornings is literally what I described on that video.
And that morning I made the video, I was literally watching people do exactly what I described.
And when I came back to my area, I don't see people doing what I described.
christian maxwell
They're not outside of their home as much as people in these other neighborhoods.
unidentified
I mean, kids literally in, you know, some of these really nicer areas, their kids are still in their PJs.
Like you literally got up and just, you just hit the door immediately to go live your life in your community.
You know why you're also doing that?
Because you have more businesses than we have.
Over here on the south side, we don't have as many businesses as they have.
Most of the south side is underdeveloped.
You don't have as many restaurants to choose from.
You don't have as many.
I mean, we have in my community, it's a lot of people who live here in the High Park Woodline area.
christian maxwell
We have a micro target.
We don't even have a full target.
I went in there to buy an iPad and they had to go get it from like the dungeon of the back of the store because it's so locked down.
unidentified
Yeah, well, now it's like, wasn't there like a Walgreens in Chicago where there's no, there's no items anymore?
It's just a, it's a tablet.
Yeah, deodorants locked up.
You know, like, why is deodorant locked up?
Deodorant, you know, like, and, you know, it really, it's one of those things where you get used to it where you're like, hey, let me push the button to order my deodorant and wait for the person to come over and give me my deodorant.
Like, can you give, can you give me the one with the 24-hour strength?
Cause I'm really sweaty.
christian maxwell
Like, that's not something you want to do with a person, you know?
unidentified
But that's become the norm.
If you need, if you need formula, you, you got to wait for somebody to come and get it for you.
And I think that a lot of people don't realize that's how a lot of the city is living.
christian maxwell
They're living like they are criminals and they're not the criminals.
So when I advocate for something like the National Guard, here's also why.
unidentified
I think a lot of Chicagoans don't realize that CPD is currently down about 5,000 officers.
Bare minimum, they're down 3,000.
So if you have the National Guard here as a support and as a deterrent, that frees up more of the officers that we barely have.
I think we only have about maybe like 11,000 or 13,000.
It frees up some of those officers who may be stationed downtown to kind of go into some different districts because a lot of these districts are not covered the way that people would think that they are covered.
I actually know for a fact that there have been multiple times where the mayor has decided to pull Southside officers to go downtown to stand on corners to keep downtown safe.
tim pool
Wow.
unidentified
So while a lot of black people are saying, you know, they're just going to be downtown.
christian maxwell
Well, great.
Let somebody else think about downtown so we can be thought of.
unidentified
Do you find that when I say that the south side is not a process, we're not a priority.
Do you find that the black community in Chicago, these neighborhoods, would prefer a greater police presence?
I think that's why a lot of people are really upset.
The comment I keep seeing is they're not going to come to the South side.
And initially I was like, guys, why are you so hung up on that?
But then I really thought about it.
And I'm like, this is almost like a reverse cry for help.
People are basically saying like, they're just going to not think about us again.
That's what I think that people are saying when they keep commenting over and over that the National Guard isn't going to come to the Southside.
It's because people are used to calling 911 and nobody comes.
And even if they do come, the response time for CPD is pretty low.
Again, it's not their fault.
I don't blame the officers.
I blame the mayor for not doing one.
His promise when he ran was that he was going to hire 200 more detectives.
For one, you can hire more detectives to close cases, but also hire the additional officers that we need for the city.
He hasn't hired than 200 new detectives.
He hasn't hit that goal.
And if anything, I think CPD has gotten smaller under his leadership.
I wonder if that's like, I wonder if that's like a common Chicago thing that you call 911, nobody shows up.
Yeah, I watched a burglary next door.
christian maxwell
So I actually live in a really interesting area.
It's like being, I don't want to call it gentrified, but they're knocking down old stuff and putting up million dollar homes.
unidentified
And I literally watched the million dollar home next door to me be burglarized.
Like somebody came up on a scooter and started bashing the screen, this glass door, patio door on a million dollar home.
And before the million dollar home was even built, three guys came up with chainsaws and took their time and robbed the construction containers.
I called CPD and nobody ever came.
Yeah.
And there's always some excuse of priority or something like that.
tim pool
But what are it?
unidentified
I haven't, I've, I left when I was 23.
So I come back periodically for the holidays.
What's it like with the gun laws now?
I mean, can you defend yourself?
So I think that if you are willing to study the laws pretty much very often, you need to know what you can and cannot do here because there's a lot of rules on law-abiding citizens.
There's more rules for us than obviously it is for criminals.
So if you don't understand what is considered your castle, like you can't just, your car is not an extension of your castle here in Chicago.
So if your car is being burglarized, like there's not much you can do.
christian maxwell
You have to be in, and you, you should always have to be in imminent harm in order to use a weapon.
unidentified
I do, I definitely feel that.
christian maxwell
But the way that you can really get caught up and end up in jail as a law-abiding citizen, if you don't know all of the rules and regulations for how to use your weapon here, you can get in a lot of trouble.
unidentified
And to be honest, they will probably throw the book at you even more than they would actual criminal.
So if you, I would say anybody in Illinois, you should have your FOID, even though it's really ridiculous that you have to have one, but you should have your FOID.
And then you need to go and get your concealed carry because it's your job to self-rescue.
In a state like Illinois, they cannot rescue you.
christian maxwell
You have to self-rescue.
unidentified
It takes an officer, even in a good area, it takes officers to like 15 minutes to get to you in a good area.
What are you going to do for 15 minutes if you don't have a weapon and you don't know how to use it?
You're going to die.
So or be raped or whatever for women who I see a lot of women walking around.
I'm like, I really hope that you have something in that little pouch besides lip loss because, you know, it's a lot more going on here than Chicago is going to tell you because they're not transparent about how much crime is happening in this city because they want you to feel safe.
It's not safe.
Yep.
And I think that DC was accused of doing this too, flubbing the numbers to make it seem like everything's safe.
We want to get those tourists in here.
And then Chicago's pretty brutal.
It's pretty brutal.
People won't realize.
I brought, I did a video on TikTok and I was talking about, I'm like, I'm like, guys, I don't know if you know, but there's a really extensive cartel presence in Illinois.
And some people were like, oh man, don't talk about it.
Don't talk about it.
christian maxwell
I'm like, but no, let's talk about it because when you have a cartel presence, that means you have a trafficking presence.
unidentified
And if you're, you know, a young woman, like you're, you're a commodity.
You know, like you have to be aware of your surroundings in a way that's a lot higher here.
And I think that a lot of people just think of gang violence.
And it's like, oh, it's just some black guys on the south side.
no, there's a lot of different types of crime in Chicago.
This is why you see, you know, there was just recently, it was a Chinese person who was, I think they were, they, the DA got them because they were trying to change over $65 million from a transaction for fentanyl.
And then there was just recently a major cartel leader from the Sinaloa cartel, I believe, arrest, apprehended here or charged here.
I'm like, that's like, that's like Mexico.
I'm like, this is not Chicago's, it's so beautiful.
christian maxwell
It's so beautiful, but do not let that fool you.
unidentified
There is a real criminal element here that goes so much deeper than just black guys on the South side where people are like, they shouldn't be over police.
I could care less about the crime that people think this is about.
There's something that the government knows that we're not 100% aware of that I for sure want them to come and handle.
Please come and handle that.
What I just never understood, and it's one of the reasons why I decided to leave the city is how after 100 years, they've not solved anything.
I mean, go back 100 years, we're talking about Al Capone and you still have violent crime and the gangs have gotten worse.
And people, but why do keep, why do people keep voting for the same thing and for the same people?
tim pool
It's just not getting solved.
unidentified
So that's something that I've been looking into as well.
There are less and less people voting in these elections.
Even when, even though there is still a Democratic stronghold, they have just broken the will of so many conservative or even moderate Democrat voters to the point where they just don't show up.
If you even look at for some of the surrounding suburbs where there's mayoral elections, you'll have a mayor win with like 1,400 votes.
Wow.
christian maxwell
That's like an event.
unidentified
You know, that's not like a town's worth of people.
So, and even with the mayor, Mayor Johnson, I mean, he didn't get that many votes.
It was like less than like 300,000.
And I think it was honestly in the hundreds of thousands.
christian maxwell
Chicago is a really big city.
unidentified
So it's like there wasn't some overwhelming majority of people who said that Brandon Johnson was going to be a great mayor.
christian maxwell
It was a small, it was a small group of people who cared enough to go out and vote.
unidentified
And they didn't come back for the runoff, which is why Paul Vallas ended up losing.
Paul Vallas would have been the mayor.
christian maxwell
And honestly, I know quite a few black people who voted for Paul Vallas and for sure wanted him over Brandon Johnson because nobody in their right mind wanted Brandon Johnson.
unidentified
If you ask any black person who's like, I don't want to call them boomer age, but even like my age and up, they know for a fact that his whole the youth just need to kumbaya with me and they're going to come over to the law-abiding side.
Everybody knows that that's not a thing.
It's not a thing, which is why you see youth taking over downtown now.
And you see, if you check a lot of the schools around here, they literally have 50% absentee rates.
A lot of CPS schools can't even get kids to come to school.
And he's a CPS product.
christian maxwell
He's actually a CPS teacher.
unidentified
And the CTU president is literally like his puppeteer.
christian maxwell
She has his little puppet strings.
unidentified
He's not, he's not, none of the stuff that Brandon Johnson is doing is because he's sitting there plotting on Chicago.
christian maxwell
He is a puppet of the highest order.
unidentified
And Stacey Davis Gates, whatever her name is, she honestly needs to go on like a watch list.
Like that lady is behind so much of the destruction of our children in the city.
I honestly would love to see CTU get dismantled.
I would love to see them be dismantled.
That's a big reason why the city is dysfunctional.
I was looking up Congressional District one in Illinois.
You actually have a decently active congressional district.
tim pool
Jonathan Jackson won with 208,000 votes to Marcus Lewis's 108,000.
unidentified
Yes.
tim pool
That's like near 50%.
unidentified
Turnout's like 40-some odd percent.
tim pool
I pulled up AOCs because she's so famous.
unidentified
It's a great example.
tim pool
She won with 132,000 to 59,000.
unidentified
Substantially less turnout in her district.
It's fascinating to see that in CD1, the Republican turnout rivals AOC in her own district.
Do you think you're going to be able to, obviously you're going to say yes, but you're going to be able to rally the people of your district and vote for some change?
So when I look at this whole fight, for one thing, I'm taking it one day at a time.
And I don't do a lot of boasting at all in this because I've never run for politics or done anything in politics.
But what I'm looking at is that people have never been more fed up than they are right now.
And with Trump in office, they have just a thread of hope.
And I honestly do believe that if there was ever a time to do it, it's now.
christian maxwell
Jonathan Jackson, most, if you go up to, I'm actually going to probably do it pretty soon.
unidentified
I'm going to just walk around the High Park area and I'm going to ask random black people, do you know who Jonathan Jackson is?
They don't know him.
They don't know him.
He's slapping up billboards over literally destroyed areas all throughout the black communities, just slapping his face up there, talking about people over politics while black businesses close all over the district.
Black women are unemployed.
It's like the people that he talks about all the time, they're not doing better with him as a representative.
I looked at all of the all of the legislation that he's done as a congressman.
None of it is about Illinois.
And to be honest, none of it is about black people.
So the very people who elect him, I really wonder if they're checking his work because he's on Capitol Hill with, I mean, when you pay for a representative, Illinois is investing about $3 to $4 million a year into Jonathan Jackson and his suite of team members who aren't doing anything.
He's produced less than, I think, 15 pieces of legislation.
He's been a representative since 2023.
How do you do less than 15 pieces of legislation in several years in a district that has this much need?
And you don't really hear a lot about him at the national level.
No, he doesn't, because he really is a wallflower.
christian maxwell
A lot of people usually call him a wallflower.
unidentified
He's the, I think the only reason to be honest that he ended up running is because his brother got locked up.
christian maxwell
So his brother, Jesse Jackson Jr., who was probably the original kid who was supposed to, you know, be his daddy's like, you know, main kiddo, but he embezzled about $800,000 of his own campaign funds.
So he had to get locked up for a little bit.
He just got back out and put his little intellectual glasses back on and he thinks he's going to run in district two.
unidentified
That should not be a thing.
christian maxwell
You shouldn't get fresh out of prison and then go try to run for a representative again and think that you have a shot.
But in Illinois, these men, the true oligarchy, which is Jesse Jackson Sr., Jesse Jackson Jr., and Jonathan Jackson, that's an actual oligarchy because they love that phrase.
unidentified
They think that they own Illinois and that this is their way to just keep themselves top of mind a little bit, keep a decent little salary, you know, a decent salary to put on the books and to just stay relevant.
But Illinois is tired of being a toy.
Yeah.
How many of the in the past 20 years, how many politicians in Illinois went to prison?
I mean, oh man, it's actually sad because I can't count at this point.
That's a normal thing is for, you know, Illinois politicians to end up going to not just like, they don't even just get a civil suit.
christian maxwell
I mean, they really go to prison to do hard time.
unidentified
Like, that's how I'm like, they don't, they don't just do a little bit of crime or kind of just overstep a little bit.
christian maxwell
No, they just like, they're like, no, I'm going for it.
unidentified
I'm going to embezzle a million dollars almost and, you know, have to do multiple years.
And I just can't understand how that's normal.
christian maxwell
But also, that's why I know that I want the National Guard to come and I want Trump to have his eye on Illinois because I know why they don't want his eye on Illinois because of the level of corruption.
unidentified
When Pritzker, during the pandemic, Pritzker kept Illinois in disaster mode longer than almost any other state, I think in the U.S.
He kept it in disaster mode.
Do you know why?
Because it paid the bills for RTA.
christian maxwell
RTA is currently $700 billion, I think $700 million underwater because COVID funded ended.
CPS, our public school system, 100% supported by COVID funding.
They're like, I think a billion dollars underwater now.
unidentified
There are so many different industries across Illinois that he was able to pay the bills for with COVID funding.
christian maxwell
So he was content to keep Illinoisans locked in their houses and tell them it was a disaster for as long as possible.
unidentified
It also created fake jobs.
So now when you see people saying that there's less jobs being created, well, it's because there's not a bunch of fake COVID jobs being created.
christian maxwell
People going and shoving swabs up your nose at Walgreens.
That's a fake job.
unidentified
You know, healthcare, all this fake healthcare hiring that Illinois did.
The only new innovation that you see in Illinois right now, if you come, you will notice that the only new businesses are dispensaries, autism clinics, and kidney dialysis businesses.
christian maxwell
Jeez.
unidentified
Somebody tell me I'm wrong.
christian maxwell
I drive over the south side and the only thing I see is new dialysis clinics because people's kidneys are failing here.
That's something that needs to be looked into.
There's a bunch of new autism clinics and ABA clinics and then there's dispensaries.
unidentified
And the dispensary money, nobody knows where that's going because it's going back to rehabs, apparently.
And then it's discretionary funding for Illinois to decide how they spend.
So all the taxes from dispensaries is not actually going to Illinois at all.
I saw this.
I can't remember what show I was watching recently, but someone mentioned one of the characters was like, yeah, I was thinking of going to Chicago, but, you know, I'm not sure it's the right place for me too, Wendy.
And I love that there are just, there are, it's, it's kind of shocking when I find out there are people who genuinely believe the windy city is called windy because of actual wind when it, when it's actually about how all the politicians are corrupt and blowing hot air.
And it's like it's for 100 years we've lived that way.
Yeah.
And it's an expectation.
christian maxwell
I know a lot of people, they'll keep, I see people like, man, I really hope you don't, you know, change once you get in.
unidentified
And the thing I think that's different about me is that I don't have anybody in my ear.
I don't have some like shady characters like, you know, over my shoulder telling me what to do.
christian maxwell
Like I really am basically a rogue agent.
unidentified
And even though I'm a Republican and I'm a conservative, I don't think the Republican Party even knows what to do with me in the state because I'm not a normal candidate.
I haven't done, I'm not doing anything the way that they usually do it.
This is the GOP's problem, or at least one of their problems.
tim pool
They don't want to invest in these districts, like congressional district number one.
unidentified
Their attitude is it's a foregone conclusion, but that means every two years, it gets more and more Democratic controlled.
You have to go after these districts that are Democratic Party entrenched.
tim pool
That'll actually weaken all the other areas and improve your standing in this in the swing districts.
unidentified
Imagine if you destroy a Democratic stronghold.
Everything else is falling.
christian maxwell
I've literally had multiple people who were in the GOP in Illinois tell me, oh, your district isn't one of the ones like that's a focus for us because, you know, it's a Dem plus 24 or whatever it is.
unidentified
And I'm like, I don't care what, I don't care what the data says.
You've, for one, you've never had a candidate like me.
And for me to be in this area, this is the best shot you will ever have.
So to have multiple GOP people still tell me, oh, you know, I don't really know if, you know, we're going to spend there, but we're going to spend in some random area in Illinois because that's an easier win.
christian maxwell
The GOP needs to buck up.
unidentified
Yep.
christian maxwell
They need to buck up.
unidentified
And the actual person who's over the GOP in Illinois, they need to have somebody who has more of a mind for strategy because I'm pretty fed up, to be honest, as a person who's a, I still consider myself, I'm just a citizen, a person who decided to go for it.
That's, it's nothing different about me.
I'm a regular, I'm a mom of four.
I just did homeschool this morning before this interview.
I'm a regular woman.
Made my husband breakfast this morning because this is off day.
Like I'm normal.
But when I look at this from a business perspective, because I'm a business person as well, there's a lack of strategy.
Why is the Republican Party, even at the national level, not investing in more digital, digital media?
christian maxwell
Why are they not going out and making sure that they have an infrastructure to tell the stories they need to have?
We're still missing the plot when it comes to really selling what it means to be a Republican and to be conservative and to care about the country and be a patriot.
unidentified
Being a Republican is a, I mean, being a conservative and loving America is awesome.
The military is awesome.
That's why we don't have enough young men going into the military now where people are terrified of the National Guard because people know nothing about the military.
Hexeth is turning it around, though.
Hexeth is doing a great job.
christian maxwell
I love what he's doing.
Recruitment is up.
unidentified
Yeah.
What the GOP needs to understand.
You look at the Democrats and they keep producing these squad member social media personality influencer types.
It works for them.
Not that they're doing all too well right now, to be completely honest, but when you think about who are the most prominent Republicans, it's a bunch of stodgy suit wearing, you know, they're nerds.
They're not approachable by the average person.
There's something good to the professional and the quorum and that I can respect, but you need to get personal and personable.
And I'll say this, in your district, especially for a place like Chicago, the GOP should be investing to erode and chip away at these strongholds.
tim pool
Otherwise, you're just crossing your fingers that you can try and win in a swing district, but then all you're really doing is having a battle over gerrymandering instead of actually trying to win the argument.
unidentified
But we are close to wrapping up.
So if you have any final thoughts or you want to let people know where they can find you?
Yeah.
So I want people to definitely visit my website, ChristianMaxwellforCongress.com.
christian maxwell
I can't do this for Illinois without you.
unidentified
Even if you're not Illinoisan and you're an American citizen, a victory in Illinois is a victory for the U.S.
And I mean that.
Illinois is a stronghold for some of the most corrupt dysfunction that plagues our country in general.
And a lot of the things that they try here and test here spreads to other areas.
christian maxwell
Prisker loves the work that he's doing and he's going and tampering in other people's elections, going into places like I think he went into Wisconsin and all of those areas.
unidentified
Don't let people like him win here because he will spread his dysfunction via his not-for-profit all throughout the country.
And he's already doing it.
So if you're a person who wants to be a part of creating the best future, the best chance we have for a better future in America, invest in my election.
Spread the message.
Look for more people you can help in Illinois because a victory here is a victory for all of us.
And we truly do need help because Illinois is basically North Korea at this point.
And we just need, we need help.
We need help.
So send help.
Trump, I hope you see this.
Hey, send help.
Did you mention your website?
You have a website or a social media?
Yeah, ChristianMaxwellforCongress.com.
christian maxwell
And then on TikTok, I started off this entire journey as the Mod Pun, which stands for the modern pundit, but that's just the M-O-D-P-U-N, the Mod Pun.
unidentified
And you can find me on X and on TikTok as the Mod Pun.
And on Instagram, it's Christian Maxwell for Congress.
christian maxwell
So definitely join me on all those platforms.
unidentified
And if you want to go to the website first, you can find everything on the website.
But I definitely appreciate you so much, Tim, for this.
This is amazing.
Thanks for joining us.
And yeah, come back and visit.
You know, come and visit.
I was just there for the 4th of July and I'm upset with how the 4th of July celebration is no longer Chicago.
tim pool
There's a lot to talk about with Chicago, but I wish you the best of luck.
unidentified
Really do appreciate you joining.
And we'll definitely reach out to you and we'll keep track of your campaign and see where you're going.
And then we'll.
I appreciate that.
tim pool
We'll see you next time.
unidentified
Okay.
Thank you so much, Tim.
Take care.
Bye-bye.
It is always great to talk to someone from Chicago.
I was telling the team, I was like, let's just talk about Chicago.
Talk about Portillo's hot dogs, Maxwell Street, Polish.
tim pool
Oh, boy.
unidentified
And our agreement in that these neighborhoods are in trouble and need help.

And I'll just say it like this: man: These Democrats have had 100 years.
unidentified
She's even said if she wins, it's breaking a century of Democrat control.
Well, I don't know, man.
Maybe the Republicans are wrong, but how about at this point you try something different?
Because these problems have persisted for 100 years.
So, with that being said, again, smash that like button, share the show.
Thank you all so much for hanging out.
Shout out to Steven Crowder and the Mug Club and to Russell Brand and your Rumble Morning lineup.
