Because he made taboo jokes?Louis CK has always been offensive yet for some reason now the left is accusing him of being alt right or right wing, some have compared him to Milo Yiannopoulos. In realty this seems to be anger over Louis' refusal to go away following his fall from grace. In the past few months regressive left wing activists expressed outrage that he would dare return to work.

is once again in the news after audio from his latest performance leaked to the internet.
In his routine, he makes fun of the Parkland shooting survivors, he mocks gender identity and gender pronouns.
So naturally, the left is furious.
They're saying that this is Louis C.K.' 's only choice, he's pandering to the right, and yes, some news outlets are smearing him as alt-right, because apparently alt-right doesn't mean anything anymore.
But to me, this seems like faux outrage.
Because Louis C.K.
has always been offended.
In fact, we recently saw a video clip from 2012 where Louis C.K.
openly uses the N-word and Chris Rock laughed about it.
That was also a controversy.
So if Louis C.K.
was famous years ago and beloved, even though he was just as offensive, what changed?
Well, we can look back to a few months ago when another performance of his leaked.
He was performing at the Comedy Cellar.
This time, everyone was upset that he dared show his face following his Me Too controversy.
So now his performance is apparently more offensive, but you know what?
This is what happens when you don't allow for forgiveness.
Louis C.K.
apologized, said he would do better, but he still wasn't allowed to return to his career.
So what does he do?
He doubles down!
It's his only choice.
So today, let's take a look at the news and what they're saying about Louis C.K.
and what many of these left-wing activists are so upset about.

From Variety, Louis C.K.
stirs outrage with jokes about Parkland shooting survivors' gender identity issues.
Disgraced comedian Louis C.K.
has stirred more outrage after taking aim at Parkland shooting survivors and gender identity concerns in a recent set at a comedy club on Long Island.
A 48-minute audio recording of CK surfaced late Sunday on YouTube.
It was described as a set delivered December 16th at Governor's Comedy Club in Levittown.
CK starts the set by noting that he's had a rough time in the 14 months since multiple women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment and misconduct.
CK acknowledged the truth of the claims made in the New York Times expose in November 2017.
Ever have an entire year that sucks?
365 SC days in a row?
CK asked the crowd.
Among CK's most incendiary comments are aimed at the survivors of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting last February that left 17 people dead in Parkland, Florida.
CK said he was generally unimpressed by the younger generation now, that he is 51, calling them boring.
You're not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot, CK said.
Why does that mean I have to listen to you?
How does that make you interesting?
You didn't get shot, you pushed some fat kid in the way, now I gotta listen to you talking?
CK also expressed dismay about new attitudes toward gender identity and the emergence of new norms for gender pronouns.
He delivered a few lines with a stereotypical lisp that is sure to draw the ire of LGBT activists.
As the set continues, CK acknowledges that some of his comments will provoke controversy, but he stresses he has little to lose.
What are you going to do?
Take away my birthday?
My life is over.
I don't give a S, he said.
So of course, in come the hit pieces.
This from the Daily Beast.
Louis C.K.' 's leaked comedy seller set panders to the alt-right.
The comedian's controversial post-MeToo path to redemption sees him trashing Parkland survivors, mocking gender identity, and whining that he's still not forgiven.
Bye, bitch.
It's important to note that, as absurd as this piece is claiming he's pandering to the alt-right, his performance was not at the comedy seller.
As noted by Variety, it was apparently from the Governor's Comedy Club in Levittown.
I can't say that it's surprising to see the Daily Beast publish fake news when they're trying to smear Louis C.K.
IndieWire.com says, And Business Insider takes a more safe approach by saying people are accusing him of being alt-right.
The title reading, People are accusing Louis C.K.
of being alt-right after he was heard mocking non-binary people and school shooting survivors in a leaked recording.
But exiting the activist hyperbole, Reason makes an interesting point.
As many have pointed out, CK's latest stand-up routine sounds a lot like his previous work, which was never perfectly in line with PC values even when he was younger.
So no, CK didn't emerge from his masturbation reckoning a totally changed person, but this likely has nary to do with aging or a lack of commitment to consent.
So what do you think?
Do you like Louis CK?
I listened to the entire routine and I laughed at some points and I was kind of shocked at others because, well, Louis CK is offensive!
I can't say that I'm upset because someone who openly has used racial slurs time and time again said other bad words that I'm not allowed to say on YouTube.
So, I was surprised to see that he was willing to just maintain this course of action, but it actually does seem like he toned things down.
It really does.
This story went out on December 23rd.
Louis C.K., Ricky Gervais, and Chris Rock resurfaced N-word video Sparks Outrage.
There was actually a time when Louis C.K.
had no problem just straight up saying the N-word several times.
He didn't do that in his latest stand-up routine, but he did use some offensive language.
So, in my opinion, he's still trying to push that offensive line, but he actually has toned down a little bit.
Now activists are- they're outraged, obviously.
And they're saying he hasn't atoned for his bad behavior.
Some people pointing out he said he would do better and he's not.
David Itzkoff on Twitter tweeted, Telling moment in the bootleg Louis CK set is when, after a
particularly crude bit, he jokingly tells the crowd,
What are you? Going to take away my birthday?
My life is over. I don't give an S.
Audience laughs.
Despite his vow about a year ago to step back and take a long time to listen, seems like he views his entirely self-inflicted downfall as license to now behave however he wants.
And this perfectly exemplifies the point I have made time and time again.
If you do not offer someone a chance at redemption or reform, they won't.
So many people said when I tweeted this out, what an awful take, Tim.
What has he actually done to reform himself?
That's not how it works.
Here's how it works.
Louis C.K.
apologizes, says, let me do better, and you say, OK.
Now come and perform.
We're watching you.
Then Louis C.K.
tones things down because he wants to make sure he stays on the good side and is allowed forgiveness.
But that's not what happened.
Louis C.K.
lost most of his money, his life is over, and now he's self-deprecating in a stand-up routine saying he lost over $35 million in an hour after this news broke.
So after about a year of not being allowed to perform and people mocking him no matter what, what do you think he's gonna do?
He finally comes back and performs at the Comedy Cellar, and people on the left attacked him, saying, how dare he?
He shouldn't be allowed to do this.
So what do you think is going to happen in Louis C.K.' 's mind?
Well, apologizing didn't work.
Waiting a year didn't work.
Screw it!
I got nothing to lose!
And there you have it.
They've proven their own point.
He has nothing to lose.
You can't take anything away from him.
But here's the really funny bit.
No one is really that mad.
That matters.
The average person seems to like Louis C.K.
People show up for his shows.
They pay to see the man.
And it gets better.
On YouTube from August 29th, titled, Louis C.K.
Returns to Comedy with a Surprise Stand-Up Show Back at Comedy Cellar, 90 plus percent thumbs up people like Louis C.K.
and they don't like the fact that he was pushed out over his impropriety.
Look, I'm not defending what Louis C.K.
did that got him disgraced in the first place, but it wasn't nearly as bad as what Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein are being accused of.
So Louis C.K.
was asking women to do something in front of them that was inappropriate.
Yeah, he shouldn't have done that.
And maybe there is a line where we've determined whether or not someone is worthy of forgiveness.
And maybe you don't want to admit it.
Maybe you don't want to forgive him, but I'll tell you what.
It doesn't matter what you want.
Louis C.K.
has a life, and he's going to keep performing.
And guess what?
Average people like him.
They give his videos thumbs up, and they pay to go to his shows, even though he uses ableist and homophobic slurs in his routine.
Even though in the past, he's used racial slurs.
What this says is, you're a fringe minority.
The people who are freaking out online are a fringe minority.
Louis C.K.
is not right-wing.
He just made offensive jokes.
A few days ago, I made a video talking about how Gen Z is becoming more conservative, and I think it's things like this as to why that's happening.
Now, it may not be that people are actually becoming more conservative, but that what the left is has become an intolerant and unfunny, morally outraged, small group of people that no one wants to be associated with.
Sure, there are a lot of people on the left who just want to fit in and will probably agree.
But when you see how many people are showing up to Louis C.K.' 's shows, I mean, it's not like it's a ton of people, but people still pay to see the man.
They still like his comedy.
And you see it's a tiny fraction of people who get outraged over these things.
It's unsurprising to me.
When you see the Daily Beast call him alt-right, when you see all these other outlets say, oh, he's pandering to right-wing audiences or the alt-right, what do you think young people are going to think?
When these same outlets lie about PewDiePie, lie about people like me or Jordan Peterson, what do you think young people are going to believe?
They're going to think you're a liar.
And who wants to be associated with those who are lying about those that they like?
If you think Louis C.K.
is funny, and then the media calls him alt-right, you're now going to either believe that they're lying or that the alt-right must be okay people.
And so I have to criticize the media for doing that.
Stop trying to make it seem like famous comedians making offensive jokes are the alt-right.
Because the alt-right are typically, for the most part, white nationalists.
Louis C.K.
is none of those things.
He's just an offensive comic.
Who did something bad on numerous occasions, and now you have to decide whether or not you're going to forgive him and let him change his behavior, or just attack him relentlessly so he doubles down.
So the only thing they have left is to say he's right-wing.
But notice how they use right-wing as a slur simply because Louis C.K.
is offensive.
That makes him right-wing.
Well, I'll tell you what.
Using slurs is not a right-wing position.
There were Antifa activists in Portland yelling racial slurs.
That doesn't make them right-wing.
You want to talk about policy?
Go ahead, we'll talk about policy.
But Louis C.K.
is just being offensive, and it has nothing to do with left or right.
That's just an excuse because he has defied you, and you are not mainstream enough to keep him out.
But let me know what you think in the comments below.
We'll keep the conversation going.
Admittedly, this stuff is really getting on my nerves, and I'm kind of losing my patience with the insanity.
But I'll tell you what, it's New Year's Eve, so I'm gonna be in a good mood for the rest of the day, and I'm not gonna let this stuff weigh me down.
Louis C.K., I've never been a big fan of his, but I just, I'm sick of the moral outrage and the lack of forgiveness in society.
So you know what I'm doing for 2019?
My New Year's resolution is to put up with less of this BS.
Listen.
I'm open to genuine criticism, and I'm open to forgive those who are honestly trying to do better, and I'm willing to recognize that sometimes people make offensive comedy, and you have to realize the world doesn't revolve around you.
And to those people who think the world does revolve around you, well, screw off.
But anyway, thanks for hanging out.
