After a wave of attacks on mosques in Germany a post surfaced claiming that this was about fighting Fascism and was signed "Antifa international"It is Important to Note that the claim may be a fabrication but in this video I go over why I believe it is likely that those attacking mosques in Germany are actually aligned with Antifa and may be part of an international antifa activist network.Make sure to subscribe for more travel, news, opinion, and documentary with Tim Pool everyday.Support the show (http://timcast.com/donate)

Germany has recently seen a wave of attacks on mosques throughout many cities, from vandalism to arson.
Now, police initially believed that these attacks were politically motivated.
And when you hear about politically motivated attacks against Muslim religious centers, most people assume it's going to be something associated with white nationalism or white supremacy.
But actually, that's not the case.
On a post made on Indymedia, a website associated with left-wing activism, a group has taken credit
for at least one of those attacks, and this person claimed they were acting under the banner of Antifa.

Our first story comes from Hessenschau.
Forgive me if my German is not very good.
And this article is also being run through Google Translate, so consider that the context might not be perfect, but it says, Unknown cast incendiary at mosque, and we can see in this photo four men and one man holding something very bright.
At least four people threw incendiaries on a mosque in Kassel during the night of Sunday.
The property damage is small.
The chairman of the mosque association nevertheless worried.
This was the initial reporting a few weeks ago, but now it is believed that they know who actually did it.
In a story updated yesterday, Hessenschau reports left-wing extremists claim to arson attack on Kassel mosque.
And there is actually a video of the incident.
You can see that the first man tries to smash out the windows with some kind of object before others throw Molotov cocktails at the building.
Fortunately, one of them bouncing off and minimal damage was reported.
Shortly after, another man comes and throws another molotov before running.
According to Hessenschau, the left-wing extremist group Antifa International has announced in a letter to the attack on a mosque in Kassel.
Background is the military offensive of Turkey against Kurds in Syria.
On the night of March 25, strangers threw several incendiary devices on a building that uses Turkish Islamic Association as a mosque.
The claim was made on the website Indymedia, which is often associated with anti-corporate and far-left activism.
And it reads, After much speculation has already been made, we confess to
the attack with Molotov cocktails against the meeting place of Turkish fascists in the Kassel
Börnsenstraße.
Forgive me if I can't pronounce that.
In the building are the club rooms of the municipality ATB, the Association of Turkish Cultural Associations in Europe.
ATB belongs to the Islamist right-wing party BBP in Turkey.
The BBP is a lesser-known spin-off of the nationalist MHP.
The BBP was in 2007 with a mastermind of an assassination attempt on a journalist in Istanbul.
Symbols of the fascist grey wolves and pictures of the BBP chairman, Muhsin Yasicoglu, after whom the community is named, hang in their community.
Yasicoglu, along with Alparslan Turks, is partly responsible for massacres and attacks in the 80s and 90s on Alevis, Kurds, and socialists.
The action is part of the militant campaign in solidarity with the Kurdish canton of Afrin and the revolution in Rojava.
Since January 20, Turkey is conducting an anti-Afric war against Afrin, which until then had largely been spared by war.
The aim of the AKP regime is to raise the democratic projection in northern Syria to the ground.
In the rooms of the Cultural Association in recent weeks for the invasion of the Turkish army and their Islamist-fascist murder gangs' parade, countless peaceful actions and demonstrations in recent months have remained ineffective.
The federal government continues to rely on the pact with the dictator Erdogan.
For this reason, further militant actions will follow, unless the aggression of Turkey ceases.
Anyone who supports and advocates Turkey's war in contravention of international law should be aware that this will not be without consequences.
Who prays and incites for a war in which civilians are deliberately killed and expelled?
We will bring the war home in their community.
The fight against fascists of all kinds is a legitimate struggle.
Long live the revolution in Rojava.
Keep in mind, this was run through Google Translate, and some of the context has probably been lost.
But it is said that this is a letter claiming responsibility for the mosque attacks, and it is signed Antifa International.
But this wasn't the only attack.
From March 11th, arson attack on mosque in Berlin.
Another mosque frequented by the Turkish community in Germany was attacked on Friday.
And this from Al Jazeera.
A mosque in Berlin has been set on fire by masked assailants in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Witnesses told us that three assailants with covered faces threw burning material and immediately ran away, said Bayram Turk, the head of the mosque association.
This attack comes only a few days after another mosque frequented by the Turkish community in Germany was attacked on Friday.
And they have a video of at least one of these attacks.
The attack that was claimed by Antifa happened on March 25th.
And this video I just showed you came from March 11th.
And these are not the only attacks on Turkish-led mosques.
Many people believe that it is Kurds who are attacking these Turkish mosques in response to Turkey's attack on Syria, that Turkey is intervening in the Syrian conflict, so Kurds are upset about that.
Now, we can only say that one of these attacks was claimed by Antifa, and though many people believe that they are probably connected, we're not entirely sure.
It would seem that these anti-fascists are Kurds.
In which case, do they actually count as Antifa?
Is it the same thing?
Because in the U.S., Antifa tends to be a bit different.
However, these are individuals in Germany, so they are a Europe anti-fascist faction.
We've heard from many people.
They said, if you oppose fascism, you are an anti-fascist, and that's what Antifa means.
But we can actually look back to one year ago, from the website It's Going Down, which is a far-left activist website, where they actually did claim Kurds were Antifa.
The headline, as the right urges you to fear refugees, Antifa are fighting ISIS.
Let's look at that again.
Antifa are fighting ISIS.
And in this photo, we can see several men holding up the anti-fascist action flag.
Another photo shows several men holding up the anti-fascist action flag in front of ISIS.
And the caption reads, the far right often mistakes reality for what they want to see as reality.
Here, YPG militia members have retaken a town that was under the control of ISIS and display an anti-fascist flag in victory.
A fact obviously lost on the Twitter poster.
Yet while these same cowards sat comfortably behind their computer screens and encouraged you to see the refugees fleeing ISIS terrorism as your enemies, an international network of anti-fascist activists organized the International Freedom Battalion to support the Rojava Revolution and stop ISIS in their tracks.
Some American anti-fascists and anarchists, such as Jordan McTaggart and Michael Israel, have even died in the fight against ISIS.
It's going down.
Is a far-left socialist anarchist Antifa website where they publish anonymous posts from individuals who share these political views and they are claiming in a positive light that Rojava revolutionary anti-fascist they call them an international network of anti-fascist activists are fighting against Isis and And if we were to look at the post on Indymedia, these people were also celebrating the revolution in Rojava and claiming to fly the banner of Antifa.
In my opinion, the simple solution here is that individuals who have claimed to be operating under the Antifa banner have been attacking mosques across Germany, and that even American antifascists have claimed credit and attributed the Kurdish antifascists in Rojava as part of the antifascist activist network.
From fr.de, alleged confessional letter to arson attack on mosque.
After the arson attack on a mosque in Kassel, the investigators checked the authenticity of a suspected letter of responsibility.
It was published on the left internet platform, Indymedia.
After the arson attack on a Turkish mosque association just over two weeks ago in Kassel, The investigators investigating the authenticity of a presumptive letter of acceptance, which was published last Sunday on the left internet platform, Indymedia.
The authenticity of writing is completely uncertain, since on Indymedia, every internet user anonymously can create a contribution.
In the past, alleged letters of support from radical leftist groups had surfaced, which later proved to be counterfeits.
It is entirely possible that this post is fake, and that someone is simply trying to make Antifa look bad.
But in my opinion, when we look at the two large probabilities here, that this is someone trying to frame Antifa, or that these individuals are actually anti-fascists, it makes more sense that they're actually anti-fascists, because like I just showed you, It's Going Down has even expressed their support of international activists supporting Antifa, showing photos of Kurds flying the Antifa banner.
So we know that Syrian Kurds support and fly the banner of Antifa.
And we know there are others who fly the flag of Antifa who supported these actions.
In which case, when we hear that several people are attacking Turkish mosques and then claiming it's because of Turkish actions in Syria, they support the revolution in Rojava and then say they are Antifa, that's likely to be the case, at least in my opinion.
But there is more.
Because according to Daily Sabah, Four Syrians were detained over arson attack on Turkish mosque in Germany.
Four Syrian men have been detained in relation to an arson attack on a Turkish mosque in the southern German city of Ulm last week, authorities said Thursday.
The men, who were arrested Wednesday, are under investigation for the attempted murder and attempted serious arson.
Ulm police and the Stuttgart prosecutor's officer said, one of the accused has confessed to the involvement in the crime, the authorities said, adding that the attack may have been politically motivated.
So here's what we know.
There have been a series of attacks including arson on many mosques throughout Germany.
These tend to be Turkish-led mosques.
According to one source, four Syrians were detained in relation to the attack and one person confessed.
And we've also seen a post on Indymedia claiming that this was Antifa International and that they were doing this in retaliation for Turkish involvement in Syria.
There's not a whole lot we can confirm here.
But I think it's fair to say that in at least one of these attacks, it is likely Antifa.
But because many of the attacks are very similar, it might be the case that they are all part of the same international Antifa activist network.
We've seen the photos, we've seen them fly the flag, and now we've seen Syrian men firebombing mosques.
But keep in mind, just because someone posted to an open forum does not mean it's true.
In my opinion, I think it is very, very likely.
But let me know what you think in the comments below and we'll keep the conversation going.
Does this actually have a relation to anything happening in the U.S., or are these politics entirely separate?
This seems to be more of a Syria vs. Turkey thing, not a left vs. right kind of thing.
Though these individuals may be claiming to be operating under Antifa, it would seem that they're not trying to attack Muslims.
Many of them might actually be Muslims.
It might be more so that they're just trying to attack the Turkish.
But on the surface, you do have people claiming to be Antifa and attacking Muslim religious centers.
So what do you think?
We'll keep the conversation going in the comments below.
