Absolutely massive is what I am in my humble opinion.
So I thought to respond to a somewhat commonly asked question and that is from guys who say to me you know I feel a bit anxious going into the gym.
I feel a bit shy.
I feel a bit out of my element going into the gym.
And I have a simple solution for you and that is to wear a pair of earphones.
I'm not affiliated with this company in any way by the way, but I do like them.
And I do prefer to have, you know, with the cable so it's not wireless because it can be some additional signals going back and forth via Bluetooth.
So sometimes of course I have used wireless earphones, but I prefer this type.
Anyway, why I mentioned this is because, you know, if you haven't been to the gym a lot, you might think it's almost like a social event going out into a public place, but you don't need to interact with anyone.
Now, of course, this is very obvious to any long-time supporter of mine.
And if you've been to the gym a lot, you know that some days you have, you know, you can go into yourself, you can show with your body language that you're not there to talk.
And same thing for me.
Sometimes I am talkative, sometimes I'm not.
If I'm in a hurry, I can just, yeah, put this on and with my body language show that I am only focused on my training.
So I'm, you know, I'm focusing in on myself a bit more like this.
And then I do my sets and then I live.
Quick, good session.
Or in a different situation, perhaps if you are in a more familiar gym, if you are in a powerlifting gym, you know, where people are more used to talking to each other, then it's, yeah, it's more appropriate to be a bit more like this, a bit more open.
You talk to people, you say hello to people and stuff like that.
So you can, if you don't want to talk in the gym, go to a more commercial gym and again keep a pair of earphones on you.
Show with your body language that you're not there to be social and you should be fine.
So if you are shy, if you're anxious and you have no interest in talking to anyone, it's easily done.
You don't need to make a big deal out of it.
On the other hand, if you train in a nice gym, then by all means be talkative because it's much nicer if you train regularly at a place and you have some sort of relationship with the other people training there.
And, you know, it doesn't need to be a big deal either, but it can be just to say hello, maybe chit-chat a bit during the rest during the sets, but it's up to the place.
But anyway, to conclude, if you feel shy going to the gym, nothing to be shy about.
Most people in the gym, they are there to focus on themselves and they probably will not pay much attention to you.
So if you feel that you go into a public space and oh, everyone is watching you, they aren't because they're mostly preoccupied with their own thoughts and their own problems and stuff like that.
So you might think that people care about you, but they don't really, not all too much in the sense that they look at you and stuff.
But as long as you have, you know, clean, nice clothes, you are, well, you don't smell or anything like that, then there won't be an issue at all.
So anyway, I just wanted to mention that in case anyone felt a bit anxious going into the gym.
Then of course also this gets a bit harder when we're talking about martial arts because then you have to interact with people because most drills they are, you know, you pair up two and two.
But same thing there.
Just be polite, nice, cut your fingernails, toenails, be washed, wash your feet, wash your hands, especially important for your hygiene.
And of course don't go to either the gym or an MMA club if you feel sick.
That's very egoistic of you.
So stay at home if you feel ill.
But otherwise just be kind and polite and all will be well.
So anyway, long story short, don't worry about it.
You don't need to go into the gym to make it a social occasion and you don't need to be shy about going into the gym because most people they focus on themselves and you can focus on your own session.
So yeah, good times, good times.
Lastly, I have written a schedule which you can check out first link in the description box.
But I suppose if you follow me on Telegram you are already aware of this.
No, thank you for watching and best of luck in the Temple of Iron.
