Breathe in, breathe out, focus on your breathing, focus on your surrounding, focus on feeling your body.
If a thought comes to you, acknowledge it and let it go.
Do not follow it.
If you feel your mind is starting to wander in some direction, go back to focusing on your breathing or focusing on the sound of the wind or if you are indoors on the sound of some meditation music.
You can also focus on the sensation of your body.
Focus on how your hands feel.
Sit comfortably, relax, set a timer for 15 minutes, breathe, let your mind be at peace.
If a thought comes, acknowledge it and return to thinking about your breathing.
Meditation is hard, but a first step is to simply try to focus on yourself.
So any thought of what to do later today or what to do tomorrow is not something you should think about when meditating.
Meditating is easy in theory, but harder in practice, but do it enough times and you will get the hang of it.
