Hello lads, I'm checking in from the autumn darkness with some profound wisdom that will hopefully help some of you because I know every autumn at least in the darker parts of the world and by darker parts of the world I obviously mean where the days are a bit shorter during the winter half of the year.
So in Sweden right now at the moment for example the sun sets quite early so we don't get that much sun and therefore people can become a bit sad sometimes but there are some good cures for this.
Obviously first thing as I always say is that the gym is always bright and warm so if you are not already praying consistently in the temple of iron you should definitely do so.
But today I thought to briefly talk about the mental thing behind getting, I'm not meaning the biological definition of depression but you know what I mean.
Seasonal depression or just feeling quite down.
Now obviously this can be natural for a lot of guys and another word for it can really be black pilled because black pilled and this type of depression, so the non-biological version of depression can be the same thing.
So anyway I think this is the case for many guys, many Western guys who they don't really have any bright vision for the future.
They think it's just hopeless.
They don't really have any plans, any goals, anything to look forward to and that is something I would like to aid a bit in at least.
So if you don't have anything to look forward to, yes then obviously it can be a bit hard to keep your chin up.
So the best thing, and this is something I've said before in one of my finest videos actually, was the depression advice or something like that.
An older video, still good.
When I watch my older videos I cringe a bit but it's all good.
It was a good video anyway.
So basically what I said there is that you should set up goals for yourself and that applies still.
That is definitely what you should do.
So if you feel down right now, you don't feel any motivation, you don't feel that the future has any brightness for you, what you should do is definitely to set up some goals for yourself.
So if you look forward to next spring or next summer, you just think of something epic that you will do and now you start preparing for it.
So for example if you are in yet again if you're in Sweden for example you can think of a really epic place in Sweden to go in the summer and then you can decide that you will be extremely shredded for it.
Then you have a goal so then you can go to the gym every time until then.
Or you can decide to next year in Mars for example you can decide to honor the war god of Mars and participate in some sort of competition.
It might be a grappling competition that's a good thing to begin with.
So you start training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu now and then you enter a competition next year.
So the important part is that you have a solid goal that you can consistently work towards and then every time you feel down and lack of motivation, lack of energy just think of that goal.
So basically getting to the root of the problem might be that you don't have anything to look forward to.
That can be why you are sad and semi-depressed and lack motivation and energy.
But if you do have goals then you automatically have something to look forward to reaching those goals.
So that is my encouragement to you at this particular moment in time to set up goals for yourself and do everything you can to reach those goals and also have something to look forward to.
It might be whatever it might be.
I hope that was somewhat enlightening at least and remember to train hard.
It is especially needed when it's dark and cold outside.
