Hello lads, the key is to get as many gaming brass into the gym as possible.
And to do this, I need to make another Let's Play video.
And I do this because we have a new DLC to one of my favorite games of all times, Warhammer Total War 2.
And this is a special character, Alith Anar.
And I have read a very good book containing him and his adventures and exploits, and that is called Shadow King.
And whenever I feel the establishment is on to me, whenever I feel the heat coming on, I draw inspiration and strength from myths, legends and stories, including fantasy and science fiction.
And this is one of the stories, guerrilla type of warfare.
Now obviously the metapolitical war looks a bit different than a fancy war involving elves, etc.
But it's good to draw inspiration from all sources you can.
So I will expound upon a few things once we get into the campaign, but I'm just gonna briefly give an introduction here.
So I'm gonna play as the high elves because I am a high elf myself.
Well, I have a beard, but anyway, we'll make an exception.
So we have Nagarith.
Initial challenge hard and some cool special things here.
Quite nice.
And campaign, very hard as usual.
Battle, we're gonna go with normal.
Because I'm more of a king than a general, I suppose, or a philosopher prince without a crown in my particular case.
But anyway, let's get into the campaign and see what the crack is.
It needs silencing.
Other heads of the Hydra high on my tally to slay reside within these frozen fortresses.
They scheme to control the vortex, which grows unstable.
If other Asa will not deal with this, then the Isle of the Dead must come under the rule of the Shadowlands.
Across the great ocean, Kane's servants threaten the heart of Ulthwa.
They control a source of great power.
One that can twist a mind, but also bestow great strength.
It must not fall into the wrong hands.
The Druki have murdered and enslaved the Asa for long enough.
Their day of reckoning is now.
Fear the shadows.
Fear my name.
Alif Anar.
Absolutely epic, in my humble view.
So we have a mission and we're actually...
An interrogation of a filthy, drooky prisoner.
A filthy, drooky prisoner.
Our traitorous kin seek scrolls of the witch gods, Hakati.
I must stop.
Quite a pleasant voice on Alith there as well.
So anyway, I was gonna say that the book Shadow King I briefly mentioned is the second book in a trilogy and the first in that trilogy is about Malakith, the Witch King which we saw later over here in Nagarond.
It was a good few years since I read it and it's not perhaps on the top priority of books you should read but I found it very good at least and I really appreciated this sort of sort of portrayal of the stealth aspect of his struggle and his various assassin-like exploits.
So yeah, that was a good book and also the reason why I got a bit excited when I saw this DLC coming out and also shout out to the true friend who gifted this to me on Steam.
Much appreciated mate.
And on another note before we get into the gameplay I just want to say that two things I will expound upon this on another occasion and that is the gaming question for Western guys.
It's a massive question and gaming culture is massive so I want a foothold there so I can bestow glorious pills on all gaming broths and get him into the gym.
Second thing is that I just want to say appreciate your mates and spend time with them.
That is something I have in my infinite wisdom decided to say to everyone who's listening here because I've been quite busy to say the least as of late so I haven't had nearly enough time to for my for my glorious friends.
So that was just a brief note on that.
Now we will actually do like this.
We are going to course of action in my humble view.
Salt flats that is oh look at that we have something fun Shadow Walkers and Shadow Warriors.
I am very much inclined to build such a thing We will actually do that boom I think this is reasonable But that means we can't really recruit any any new mad cunts.
So we're not gonna do that.
Shape this world, gonna go to Salt Flats and one two three boom, glorious.
And now of course we don't have anything there yet.
To research diplomacy before accepting any agreement.
Very epic voice on that old man.
Okay, so we didn't really have any diplomacy.
Let's take the turn and see what the crack is for the other factions in in the game.
So we are actually in.
Oh, look at that, we have a fight.
We're actually in Nagaroth instead of Ultuan instead of in our, in our home in Nagarith, and I must say that Alithanar looks absolutely epic.
So well done To the game developers.
And now let's see what we shall do with you.
Slaver's Point must no longer suffer the tyranny of the Drushi Druki.
Oh, that was an easy one.
I will endeavor to get in one good battle.
I will indeed.
Yeah, as I was saying, I will endeavor to get in at least one cool battle.
Not one everyone in action in this episode.
There's only vengeance.
Okay, seeking arrows.
Hmm.
I see.
Let's go with Root Marcher for now.
And if you would like to see more of this particular gaming series, I want you to comment in the comment section below.
I want you to comment Glory to the Shadow King because then I know that it is appreciated.
And I will also make a video elaborating on my gaming videos and on my training videos.
So a lot of videos coming up.
I will try to keep up a high pace in the coming time.
Ambusher discovered Shakara.
But she has gone.
And there is another high.
Well, not high testosterone, it was actually a woman, but...
But she will have to be illuminated to the teachings of the Primordial Beast, nonetheless.
So, let's see.
Slaver's Point is owned by us, so we can actually recruit some units there.
And Lord and Seagard, a very effing unit indeed.
We can't recruit any heroes, which is regrettable, but we can create, we can build salt pans.
Let's go for another turn I wish Shakara could come out and so I could initiate a battle there A traitor calls for their own death.
One of the Witch King Sukhfans threatens our realm.
Take them into Shadow.
Mission aborted.
Alright.
Burden of the Shadowlands.
I will actually do like this.
I will go with some more lads for initiating.
I want this one.
Recruit rank plus two of the Lord and Seaguard units.
That is that is absolutely needed in this Particular moment in time of the shadowlands.
Alright, mate.
Chance of ambushing Shadow Realm Pathways.
That's new.
That's quite epic indeed.
Stance raiding.
Ambush.
Okay, we're just gonna use this regular stance and then we're gonna initiate a combat here with this with these madcunts right there.
Deadwood Sentinels.
No, they don't really want to trade or anything.
That's regrettable, to say the least.
Alright, let's see.
Boom!
We have a glorious battle on our hand and high aesthetic.
And the Dark Elf Fair Maiden is also quite aesthetic to be honest.
I think this will actually be no problem whatsoever to fight it out in the battle itself.
As you can see, as we can see, we outnumber the foe quite a bit, and I think our units are superior to them.
So yeah, let's slaughter them for the glory of Ullfwan.
Okay, we are in the battle and we all really have one interesting thing to do here and that's deploy our Shadow Walkers.
Foi Mirin Hod.
That is some high-level aesthetics right there.
Now I actually got a good idea.
Some glorious clothing designs.
Anyway, I will admire them more later on, but we're just gonna stand them here in the forest there.
And we can also utilize our gallant gallant king Shadow King himself, Alith Anar.
I'm actually gonna see how Mirin.
Absolutely epic.
We have some sort of special ability there.
And this is then a spirit version of himself that the enemy gets tricked by.
All right, we actually have to toggle the skirmish mode there so they don't run away and And maybe I should have actually paid more attention to the, to the battle, than the, than the graphics, but the graphics are quite good so.
So that is why now we'll try to get behind them to get some cool rear shots, etc.
Lothan Seaguard!
Spearmen! Knowledge! Understood!
Leith Annar Where is our eagle?
He is there and he is wrecking these heretics.
This is the eagle of supreme morals, so he attacks, degenerates and makes them pay for their heretical ways.
So these dark shards, dark elves, have been found guilty of fapping the porn.
So then the eagle of morals attack them.
I think this is reasonable.
I am quite certain that I could have managed this battle a bit better than I have done.
But I will blame it on the fact that I haven't played Total War for a while.
Well no, actually I won't blame it on anything because I agree, go with the teachings of Joko Willink and take extreme ownership.
So I don't give any excuses.
That is quite blasphemous thing to do, to be honest, to give excuses.
So I am fully responsible for my perhaps bad performance in this battle.
But we're winning at least.
So it's, it's all good, I suppose.
Here we go victory.
How nice, absolutely epic.
Now the question I want to ask, the question we all want to ask, is what to do with this captives force labor.
I think that is reasonable.
I think execute captives is also quite reasonable.
Ransom captives, we don't really need that much gold at this particular moment in time.
we're gonna force labor them so we can build something fun and I think we're gonna lay siege to this to these individuals.
They are an army of individualists.
That's why they lost.
Because they don't believe in collectivism.
I am merely jesting, of course, I'm making fun out of certain ultra-individualists.
I'm gonna go with seeking arrows because I think that sounds quite cool.
So Black Light Tower, that's just a small settlement, which means that we could probably take these lads on.
And what I will do is I will actually no, I'll take this battle in the next episode.
So this will be a not all too long episode.
And then I have a good starting point for my next one.
