Time Text
Greetings, proud men of Christ!
Welcome back to our Reconquista, where we are dealing with these blasphemous Muslims who are trying to take over our glorious Christian Empire.
So, the picked up where we left off last time and we defeated this blasphemous barbarians in battle.
And we're just gonna round them up, start off this episode by doing so.
Just gonna steamrolling right there.
Don't really need to take that pill.
And we're gonna kill our captives, actually.
Let's see the integrity.
That was a bit since we ransomed them last time.
Okay, no, no captives.
Hmm.
We need to increase integrity in some way.
Oh, right, wait.
This is what we can do.
Authority, out already, I mean is good.
And that obviously also very good experience for all new recruits.
Now, what we're gonna do before taking a turn is disband the mercenaries so we don't have to pay the upkeep for them.
And now, Lisbon is ours for the taking, true friends.
Gonna look through the public order isn't all too good there, but I suppose that will become better with time.
Everything is cool and good up here in Galicia.
Our heartlands, as it were, of our Christian Empire.
Really, really awesome that you can beat this faction, actually.
Oh, fuck, look at this.
Public order, we must do something.
Also loaded up with some good old tea.
As I said in my latest Q ⁇ A, I'm actually off coffee at the moment.
But I drink tea instead.
So, what can we do here?
We can raise an army.
A lot of entrepreneurs.
That's obviously much better if you are a governor, but now we don't have any choice of the mattress.
So, we're gonna try to actually exempt them from taxation.
Will that make you happier?
A bit happier, at least.
Okay, cool.
Let's look at the possibility of doing that and yeah, I suppose we'll march on just a bit and recruit a few more units and then go down there.
That, if anything, sounds like a glorious idea.
So, yeah, as I might have mentioned sometime somewhere, I went off coffee to let my body recover a bit more because caffeine stresses up the body, which is a good thing pre-workout and you know helps with mental folks, etc.
But I said to myself, like, okay, cool.
I need to take a step back, let the border recover a bit and so yeah, that that's why actually rebellion imminent Okay, so we're going to have a rebellion here.
Not much we can do about it.
I do want Lisbon as soon as possible.
So I'm just going to go down there.
Going to double check so...
No.
Blasphemous army comes up here.
Becha.
Is that how you pronounce it?
Does any Portuguese or Spanish true friends...
Can you confirm it for me?
Becha.
I hope it's right.
I think it's right.
I don't know, though.
Oh.
Okay, we can reach that next time.
And the colors of the deep.
Look at that Arab.
He looks like an Arab cool, I like.
And okay, suppose we can recruit some more units here to deal with the uprising and then maybe send that army to Caceres no idea how you pronounce that either, but but it's all good fun.
I suppose we can upgrade you to a fishing port boom.
Let's go with that.
And public order we will have a rebellion on our hand there, all right.
So what?
What more can we do here?
Gonna look at the integrity fuck, look at that integrity mutinous, no thanks.
Okay, so we can decimate order and postpone it, but they are still mutinous.
That is not good one bit.
Okay let's, let's take the turn.
Uh, so we have rebellion and mutiny.
Seems everyone isn't all happy with our reclamation of Spain for Christ and also speaking of, as I said in the last episode, I really, really like the different emblems of the factions.
Might get some cool ideas for my t-shirts.
Actually, mutiny imminent, you guys as well.
oh okay yes perfect king's decrease two plus in public order exactly what we need in all like shallot
okay we will have to no matter what we need more units here in all actuality true friends and you okay we can postpone that as well but was there not a mutiny somewhere okay that's next turn
Okay, we cannot do anything here, they will mutin' either way.
There is not much we can do here.
Fuck.
Oh well.
And I suppose that this siege will not go according to plan either.
Since we'll have a decimated force then Fuck.
Okay, maybe we can come with these guys, come behind there and do something.
Alright, oh, maybe we should decimate you as well.
Okay, decimation ordered.
Okay, did not expect this to happen, but it is what it is.
I'm playing on very hard after all, so but you will have to trust me, oh legionnaires of modern Europe, that we can bring home this victory.
Really awesome that you can be this faction actually.
Alrighty then.
There's been a mutiny.
We're gonna send in our king.
Aka me, the king.
Civil war, fuck.
And here we are.
These are the mutinous traitors, Galatian separatists.
Okay, they're even gonna sport.
Fuck.
Okay, let's let's just go back and reconsider our options.
And I'm gonna decimate you again.
You busted.
How dare you not be loyal to me?
Deal with this rebel army and do something of the sort there.
And now do we have a rebellion here?
Yes, we do.
That's easily dealt with at least.
Thankfully, I'll take all these warriors.
They are European Christians after all Alright, cool.
Now things are a bit better, and authority.
Nice.
And yes, as I said in the last episode, I'm really happy with the new graphics in this DLC.
CA, that's Creative Assembly.
The producer of the game, they have really put in the effort, I can say that.
Which obviously is appreciated.
And I suppose that after Rome 2 was a bit of a fiasco when that came out because it was quite bad.
I suppose they have stepped up their game to make up for that in all like Zelti.
So they put out a lot of good content.
And this DLC is a bit of a step between Attila and Medieval 3.
So I have high hopes for Medieval 3.
I think that will be an awesome game.
In all like Zelti.
Typho Toledo.
Okay, cool.
And then obviously Warhammer Total War is coming soon.
Soon, Lord JPG.
Hello, traitors.
How are you today?
Okay, true friends, let's take it.
Why not?
It is Total War after all, so it suits me as fine.
Spanish rebels.
These rebels, they could have had a chance of participating in the reconquest of modern Europe.
So this is basically leftists we are fighting now.
If I were not doing a let's play, I would probably go with the fog because that shields us a bit from enemy missiles.
But the visual aspect is much better when you go with dry and it looks nicer.
So yeah, let's start a battle.
I'm gonna look at our units, now these I like, this unit.
The other ones are a bit not too cool to be honest.
They are a bit too brightly colored.
Maybe we'll come out a mod to that later on.
Who knows?
So the battle plan, true friends, to deal with this.
These fucking scum, these are leftists, beta-leftists, is to maintain the centerline of our three units.
For the glory of God, and then just flank them.
That should be sufficient to deal with these traitors.
And I'm gonna keep the general a bit in the back there.
And maybe they're trying to draw us in to the fire of their javelinman.
I don't know.
Okay, not too far now.
Alright, we broke the unit there.
Do they have some sort of swordsman?
Wow, look at this.
These are really cool.
I like it.
Quickly though.
Move out!
Ah.
And I kind of fucked that up because I needed to get them to charge there.
Boom!
Look at that.
Nice.
should be breaking.
This, if anything, crew friends, is nice running down skirmishers with cavalry.
Look at this now, they're trying to escape, but they cannot.
Look at that.
Yes.
Beautiful, lads.
Alfonso, royal guard, get rebel general Okay, this went well.
I'm gonna speed it up.
Spit off the gameplay a bit.
Let's say we have this.
Nice.
Beautiful.
Teddy, can you confirm this to be beautiful?
Teddy could actually confirm this victory for God himself.
Alright, I'm gonna take on these warriors and rebels as they are and change pattern.
Battle 1!
That increases them.
Cunning.
No, I need authority, I suppose.
Oh, look at that.
Nasal helmet!
Nice.
Ah, fualdrat.
Upkeep cost.
That, if anything, true friends, is fucking awesome.
Upkeep cost, minus 10.
Highly joyous.
There we are.
Cheerio, lads.
Ah, beautiful.
Morale.
10 plus.
And.
Replenishment can be a good thing as well.
And then we go back to Braga to chill for a while.
Okay, they're actually coming at us.
We're gonna recover a bit here with our king.
Then we're gonna strike out and kill them.
Cool, so I suppose this campaign is going...
I can actually decimate them again for their mutinous ways.
Yeah, I suppose this campaign is going quite well indeed.
I'm happy with that, actually.
A really nice campaign, also, I must say.
Very happy.
So if anyone from CA is watching this, good job.
Good job.
Like the aesthetics of it all.
Are they charging?
The absolute madman.
That is not even worth to take on the battlefield.
They will just get wrecked.
Get good or get wrecked.
Yeah, we're just gonna go with a balance stance there.
Boom there goes the traitor.
They were after all former brothers We're actually gonna try this.
Disrupt settlement and start fire just so he can level a bit.
Because now he's not doing much.
Success.
Can we get the level?
No.
How silly.
Forze the- oh, look at that.
Obedient.
nice and morale when laying seeds that That is good.
Gonna go with that because after all, we're gonna go down and lay siege to these guys.
Personal influence, yes, because this is our king.
So that's a good idea.
And yeah, the nasal helmet will as well.
Unit experience.
Oh, look, that's like the thing you have in tournament games.
Fucking awesome.
Yeah, as I said, love the aesthetics of the game.
Now.
Yeah, we can reach them and the next turn.
And Republic Order is looking up here as well.
Now we have a rather large army here.
I wonder what it would cost to reclaim these lands.
Probably a bit more than we can afford right now.
So I suppose that city will have to fall to us.
We'll send these guys down.
Alright, I edited away the turner and we can actually research something new and fun and campaign movement range plus 20% sounds sounds cool.
Oh, we can build stuff as well.
First though, we will look at the possibility of playing siege right there.
Let them cower like candled dogs!
And they have a little army there.
Might prove to be a thorn in our side.
And we're gonna go in there.
Right, cool.
Let's build something fun.
Royal Court.
Imperium points.
Nice.
Let's go with that.
And no, we don't really need to decimate them.
It's fine, Trufans.
It's fine.
So, we're gonna see what the crack might be there.
They're landing with a force.
Maybe they wish to relieve their beleaguered brethren.
But we are relentless in our wish.
Look at that.
Illegitimate birth.
Father Parnendra, Mother Nuna.
This may be awkward.
Indeed, it may actually.
But it's cool.
It's fine.
Rank gained.
nice authority Public order.
Yes.
Awesome.
Thank you very much for that.
No.
Where is my little spy?
He's down there, of course, so we can't really see what might happen.
But we can siege this next turn at least.
Ah, wonderful.
Boom.
Pun sick physique.
Occupy you.
Nice.
And that, true friends, I think we'll have to be a glorious conclusion to this episode.
And we are in a quite good situation.
We have Lisbon.
We might have Caceres soon with his army.
We can continue down here to Becha.
And then we have a good stretch of land.
And we have a quite good situation.
Fucking awesome.
Thank you very much for watching and spending some time with me.
And who am I?
The glorious champion of Christ.
