Greetings proud sons of Rome and welcome back to good old Atila.
I realize that it's been a while since I actually made a let's play in this glorious campaign and made some other videos instead.
But I thought this November high time for some glorious gaming and as you might see in my coffers I have taken a good few turns.
I'm gonna run over the Imperium as it were and I just start up this new turn and we have an item for this household for this Decimus Furious Veteris.
Really cool alpha name I will say so what can we have here?
Upkeep sounds good and also Sill what can that do?
It can be a fighting unit is LD.
Have another rank here?
Ah, good old priest, don't really use any of this, so it doesn't really matter.
So yeah basically, you can see the coffers here, a huge amount of money and, you know, everything is quite under control.
A few rebellions I've had in Hispania, but nothing really out of the ordinary.
Here, then we have, you know, a really stable Imperium.
One thing we have though, is problems with the Egyptians, the gods of war cool name if, if nothing else.
So we're gonna look at the possibility of taking Petroleums Petolema not sure how you pronounce that one and we're gonna look at doing this soon enough, I suppose, can't really reach them there, so we're gonna do, like this, light ramming wonderful,
they will accept deeper ramming from me, exactly what we'll do, and we might even get in a ship fight would be cool, taking this little settlement as well.
Other than that, we have a food shortage and can't really do much about that at the moment, and oh, look there we have a population surplus.
How quaint, didn't realize that.
And then obviously we will go for okay fuck, oh well, we'll go for the workships, and I thought we could make food production buildings, and here obviously, we can only upgrade that, but that will increase the food consumption.
So no thanks.
I also went out here to reclaim some lands and you see the Huns are coming at us there.
So Siskia, you are in dire straits, I suppose, and in all actuality, have a little army right here that created that one.
And you see, we have so much money so we can basically do what we want there and also up here.
I thought could be a cool thing for this episode to make, In all actuality, to invade Britain.
Now you see, we have subjugated these guys.
No real difference there.
And everything is common in order.
So what I'm looking at doing is sending this army up here.
Boom.
Straight away.
Can recruit some mercers.
Gonna merge you.
There we are.
Now.
Alright, so we have an army here.
Can send them up here.
And hopefully, they will not attack us.
So we can go on to Corinium and perhaps start the invasion there instead.
And we don't really want to build anything.
We can put into force march right there and see if we have any other cool.
Well, this little army won't really do anything.
This army right here, though.
I'm gonna upgrade you all.
Boom.
Better gear.
So Rome needs more land to set it the food production.
And look here, upgrade to kettle pens.
Gonna create some more elite Palatina to send up to Britain as well.
So this episode, the invasion of Britain, as it were.
Good times, good times.
And other than that, can't really do much.
It's gonna run over quickly and see if we can do anything more fun.
And I don't want to upgrade any military buildings because that increases the food consumption as well.
Oh, before I take the turn, I'm just going to repair all of these little things.
So yeah, I'm gonna take the turn now and I will be right.
Not interested in taking that battle one bit in all actuality.
Okay, cool.
They left us B, hopefully.
See if they land there.
No?
Alright, cool.
Yeah, might as well talk through the turn as well.
And just want to talk to you.
So yeah, I suppose this campaign redeems my rather.
Ah, look at that.
Is this a fun battle to take?
Well, I suppose it can be.
Can we cool if I win at least.
And we got a cool fight against some barbarians.
So yeah, no matter I might get beat up here.
You see the outnumbers quite significantly.
The first army I could take, probably, but there'll be blood sword coming after them.
So yeah, either way, I think this campaign has redeemed me from the previous campaign I did last spring.
Like this spring.
When I got got my ass handed to me, as it were, by on the same difficulty level.
But since then I learned the tricks as it were.
Alright, cool.
Let us look at the possibility in this fight.
We can't really do much considering we don't really have any special units to play around with.
What I would like to do though is to take out your general as soon as possible.
Other than that, I'm gonna back you away a bit.
I suppose that we'll just place everyone in the studio mode and await them to come to us.
And then this will serve as flanking units.
We're just gonna hold the line right there.
Alright, placing everyone in the studio.
Crowd sons of Rome!
Now, and where can we support the line?
Our general is under attack!
There, perhaps.
Oh, fuck.
He's getting pounded here.
Oh, look, dogs.
Hello, dogs.
Not gonna lie, they looked rather scary.
And I should not have placed my general so far so far ahead.
I should have waited further back and we're gonna spend the ammunition on my testudo there.
Really don't wanna charge them because then they drop their missile defense, which they gain from the testudo, as it were.
Now I want to kill you Yes, get at him, boys.
Hunt this bastard down See if we can get a cool Cool sequence out of this Ah, glorious.
Yes, get him.
Get him, barbarians.
Look at that.
Lovely.
Certain fill when you get now.
I'm just gonna run forward with everything.
No, wait, we're actually gonna take you in the back instead.
Oh, fuck, look at that.
big army right there yes get at em boys Hopefully, you can break their main army before they come in with their second assault, as it were.
And hopefully heavy melee infantry.
Okay, no, not a hope that we can take those cunts.
Oh, these guys.
How misfortunate.
Unfortunate, I mean, when you see.
Troll skirmishers are harassing us in the back there.
Unpleasant, indeed.
Let's zoom in on the action a bit, true friends.
This could be a fun thing to do.
Can't really see much of the carnage in Mayhem to be honest there, but it's cool either way.
And if we're getting...
If we take this combat, win this combat, I will be a happy pale orc indeed.
And then I will hire a lot.
A lot of mercenaries.
Come on and get around, boys.
For honor and glory.
There, in the back.
the back.
Turn around brave sons of Rome.
Okay, we're actually gonna commit the general committed there in the middle so that everyone still has the can see him and draw strength from his gloriousness.
Come on and at them, boys.
For glory.
Love those war shouts.
Highly glorious Molaxalty.
Alright, let's look at what the crap is here.
Okay, can you break?
Damn you.
Might as well break away from this combat because we have them in the rear air already.
They might use you...
Mercenary Wolf Coats.
Okay, I'm gonna take you around and charge him in the back there.
Could be a fun thing to do.
Let's zoom in here.
God, this is beautiful.
It's getting him in the back there.
Serves them right for being barbarians.
Shouldn't really say that about my own kin though, but it's okay because we're Team Rome in this campaign.
Alright there is the warlord And we might define if we can get him to die.
And I don't understand why these guys...
Okay, they are dying.
They are dying quite swiftly indeed.
breaking off there.
Alright, there comes their general fuck.
Oh, Okay, I think this battle is is lost, true friends.
I will probably edit the rest of it away from now.
Alright, look at that.
I edited a bit of the sequence of this battle away, but see here.
It is rather tight, actually.
So if our general can stay alive We can actually have this Now they have these guys almost a full unit of blasphemous heathens Oh god, it's so fucking tight.
Fuck Fucking hell they got our general there not good.
Okay, cool, they have no ammunition left So now only to get this pikeman's is it the balance of power They still outnumber us No Stand and fight.
Damn you.
Oh, ha ha ha ha.
Allow me to do, um, feels good man, the JPG face.
That felt fucking awesome.
How about that?
Sickening gains.
And That's exactly how it goes.
The dudes now gonna see 15, take on warriors, yes please, and hopefully we won't get charged again by something and then We'll hire loads of British mercenaries and take revenge upon the dudes.
So yeah, that was really good, because then we can keep that army in Britain.
A loss wouldn't have been devised, a loss wouldn't have been devastating either way, because we have the armies coming up behind.
But it's certainly made things easier.
And rather thrilling battle to be had at least.
And that's always fun.
So yeah, that's actually what is up.
That we show those heathens.
Heathen barbarians.
How it goes if you stand against the might of Rome.
No, that was not glorious at all.
Got charged again and no aha, we got charged there of all places.
Looks like we have um a rather glorious battle coming up right there.
Uh which I'm gonna save for the next episode.
So, thank you very much for watching you proud sons of Rome.
