Time Text
Hey, this is Michael Snyder, and I'm out here today at the University of Texas.
We're asking people questions.
We're asking them real basic questions, such as how do they feel about Donald Trump?
How do they feel about Hillary Clinton?
Have they heard of fake news?
What do they believe that fake news actually is?
We're asking them about medical marijuana.
Where does money come from?
We're asking them about the Federal Reserve.
And we're showing that we have a real need for education in this country about some of the most...
And what about fake news?
Have you heard of fake news?
Sure, yeah.
And could you give us an example of fake news?
Fake news could be anything from Facebook groups to, you know, smaller organizations outside online media.
It doesn't necessarily have bipartisan views.
It could just be one way or, you know, it doesn't have any kind of credibility.
It doesn't have any resources.
Yes, I've heard of fake news.
Alright, and what would be an example of fake news?
Um Reporting on things that don't happen And treating it as Credible journalism Um Do you believe the mainstream media has been fair to Trump or not fair?
Not fair because the mainstream media is heavily liberal.
Would you describe them as fake news?
I think that for the most part they do their best to...
Not be fake news, but there's a lot of fake news on both sides, sure.
So would CNN be an example of credible journalism?
I think they're credible because I believe that in general they satisfy the journalistic requirements for publishing and they retract their false statements.
They retract the things that don't meet the standard of proof.
And so they're credible if they admit their mistakes.
So you believe when CNN makes mistakes that they admit them, they own up to them?
Yes, I do.
Now let me ask you a question.
Medical marijuana, should it be legalized?
Absolutely, yeah, it should be.
Medical marijuana in particular, should it be legalized?
It should be legalized.
Would you support political candidates that support legalizing medical marijuana?
Yeah, I mean, for that particular platform issue, yeah, I would.
Okay.
Well, let me ask you this.
I'm actually running for Congress.
I believe in legalizing medical marijuana, but I'm also pro-Trump.
How would you feel about that?
I mean, it's interesting.
I think Trump's interesting to watch.
I don't know.
That's cool.
What about Donald Trump?
How do you feel about him?
I don't feel anything about me.
Now, what if I told you I support medical marijuana, but I'm also pro-Trump?
How would you feel about that?
I don't...
I mean, politicians have many positions.
I mean, you don't necessarily agree with every position a politician has to support them.
Well, let me ask you about, do you believe that Trump should be impeached?
I think that the pardoning of Arpaio was really bad.
I think that instructing Jeff Sessions and lobbying him to maintain oversight of the Russian collusion investigation, I think that's bad.
I don't think...
Personally, if I was in Congress, I'm at the point where I would vote to impeach Trump, but I think I'm getting close.
Do you believe he should be impeached?
Yeah, absolutely, for a couple reasons.
Anything in particular?
Definitely stuff with Russia.
The Russia ties, I think, is enough grounds to do that.
Now, do you believe that President Trump colluded with Russia?
I mean, perhaps someone in his administration did, but if he did, I think he probably took the reasonable steps to...
Reasonable steps to, you know, conceal it.
Let me ask you one more question.
Where does money come from?
Where does money come from?
What do you mean?
Originally.
You know, people get it when they work and whatever, but originally, where is money created in our society?
Where does it come from?
Well, it's a social construct.
What about the Federal Reserve?
Are you familiar with that?
Do you know how that works?
Barely, yeah, a little bit.
Not enough, but that's probably all I could say about it.
So physical money comes from the mints, right?
That's what it's called.
They print money.
The concept of money comes from goods and services.
I've been asking a lot of people this today.
Where does money come from?
If high school memories don't fail me, I think the Federal Reserve.
I was asking a lot of people about the Federal Reserve today and a lot of people didn't understand.
Would you say that you understand the Federal Reserve or that you really need more education in that area?
I have an extremely rudimentary understanding.
I need some more education.
What about the Federal Reserve?
Do you know much about that?
Do you understand how it works?
I don't think I do.
Well, there you have it, guys.
That wraps up our interviews here at the University of Texas with college students, supposedly highly educated.
But as you all have seen, the ignorance here is staggering.

Digestive enzymes assist in the digestive process and increase the bioavailability of nutrients by breaking down foods into easily absorbable components.
They also help prevent discomfort from indigestion caused by fermentation of undigested food particles in the gut.
Digestive enzyme production declines as we age.
Carnivore is filled with digestive enzymes like those naturally present in the body.
