Special Reports & Tweets - Pro-Trump Congressional Candidate Asks College Students Simple Questions Aired: 2018-01-19 Duration: 07:09 === Why Do People Believe Fake News? (05:57) === [00:00:00] Hey, this is Michael Snyder, and I'm out here today at the University of Texas. [00:00:04] We're asking people questions. [00:00:06] We're asking them real basic questions, such as how do they feel about Donald Trump? [00:00:10] How do they feel about Hillary Clinton? [00:00:12] Have they heard of fake news? [00:00:14] What do they believe that fake news actually is? [00:00:16] We're asking them about medical marijuana. [00:00:18] Where does money come from? [00:00:20] We're asking them about the Federal Reserve. [00:00:22] And we're showing that we have a real need for education in this country about some of the most... [00:00:34] And what about fake news? [00:00:52] Have you heard of fake news? [00:00:53] Sure, yeah. [00:00:54] And could you give us an example of fake news? [00:00:56] Fake news could be anything from Facebook groups to, you know, smaller organizations outside online media. [00:01:05] It doesn't necessarily have bipartisan views. [00:01:10] It could just be one way or, you know, it doesn't have any kind of credibility. [00:01:14] It doesn't have any resources. [00:01:15] Yes, I've heard of fake news. [00:01:17] Alright, and what would be an example of fake news? [00:01:21] Um Reporting on things that don't happen And treating it as Credible journalism Um Do you believe the mainstream media has been fair to Trump or not fair? [00:01:37] Not fair because the mainstream media is heavily liberal. [00:01:42] Would you describe them as fake news? [00:01:46] I think that for the most part they do their best to... [00:01:49] Not be fake news, but there's a lot of fake news on both sides, sure. [00:01:54] So would CNN be an example of credible journalism? [00:01:57] I think they're credible because I believe that in general they satisfy the journalistic requirements for publishing and they retract their false statements. [00:02:10] They retract the things that don't meet the standard of proof. [00:02:13] And so they're credible if they admit their mistakes. [00:02:15] So you believe when CNN makes mistakes that they admit them, they own up to them? [00:02:19] Yes, I do. [00:02:20] Now let me ask you a question. [00:02:21] Medical marijuana, should it be legalized? [00:02:23] Absolutely, yeah, it should be. [00:02:25] Medical marijuana in particular, should it be legalized? [00:02:28] It should be legalized. [00:02:29] Would you support political candidates that support legalizing medical marijuana? [00:02:35] Yeah, I mean, for that particular platform issue, yeah, I would. [00:02:38] Okay. [00:02:39] Well, let me ask you this. [00:02:40] I'm actually running for Congress. [00:02:41] I believe in legalizing medical marijuana, but I'm also pro-Trump. [00:02:45] How would you feel about that? [00:02:46] I mean, it's interesting. [00:02:48] I think Trump's interesting to watch. [00:02:52] I don't know. [00:02:53] That's cool. [00:02:54] What about Donald Trump? [00:02:55] How do you feel about him? [00:02:59] I don't feel anything about me. [00:03:01] Now, what if I told you I support medical marijuana, but I'm also pro-Trump? [00:03:05] How would you feel about that? [00:03:07] I don't... [00:03:08] I mean, politicians have many positions. [00:03:13] I mean, you don't necessarily agree with every position a politician has to support them. [00:03:18] Well, let me ask you about, do you believe that Trump should be impeached? [00:03:26] I think that the pardoning of Arpaio was really bad. [00:03:30] I think that instructing Jeff Sessions and lobbying him to maintain oversight of the Russian collusion investigation, I think that's bad. [00:03:46] I don't think... [00:03:48] Personally, if I was in Congress, I'm at the point where I would vote to impeach Trump, but I think I'm getting close. [00:03:54] Do you believe he should be impeached? [00:03:56] Yeah, absolutely, for a couple reasons. [00:03:59] Anything in particular? [00:04:02] Definitely stuff with Russia. [00:04:03] The Russia ties, I think, is enough grounds to do that. [00:04:06] Now, do you believe that President Trump colluded with Russia? [00:04:10] I mean, perhaps someone in his administration did, but if he did, I think he probably took the reasonable steps to... [00:04:17] Reasonable steps to, you know, conceal it. [00:04:20] Let me ask you one more question. [00:04:22] Where does money come from? [00:04:23] Where does money come from? [00:04:26] What do you mean? [00:04:28] Originally. [00:04:28] You know, people get it when they work and whatever, but originally, where is money created in our society? [00:04:33] Where does it come from? [00:04:34] Well, it's a social construct. [00:04:39] What about the Federal Reserve? [00:04:41] Are you familiar with that? [00:04:42] Do you know how that works? [00:04:43] Barely, yeah, a little bit. [00:04:45] Not enough, but that's probably all I could say about it. [00:04:48] So physical money comes from the mints, right? [00:04:53] That's what it's called. [00:04:53] They print money. [00:04:55] The concept of money comes from goods and services. [00:05:03] I've been asking a lot of people this today. [00:05:05] Where does money come from? [00:05:08] If high school memories don't fail me, I think the Federal Reserve. [00:05:13] I was asking a lot of people about the Federal Reserve today and a lot of people didn't understand. [00:05:20] Would you say that you understand the Federal Reserve or that you really need more education in that area? [00:05:25] I have an extremely rudimentary understanding. [00:05:27] I need some more education. [00:05:29] What about the Federal Reserve? [00:05:31] Do you know much about that? [00:05:32] Do you understand how it works? [00:05:33] I don't think I do. [00:05:38] Well, there you have it, guys. [00:05:39] That wraps up our interviews here at the University of Texas with college students, supposedly highly educated. === Digestive Enzymes for Better Nutrition (01:27) === [00:05:45] But as you all have seen, the ignorance here is staggering. [00:05:49] So this is Michael Snyder reporting for Infowars.com. [00:05:52] If you want to support our campaign for Congress, visit michaelsnyderforcongress.com. [00:06:00] Thank you. [00:06:16] Digestive enzymes assist in the digestive process and increase the bioavailability of nutrients by breaking down foods into easily absorbable components. [00:06:24] They also help prevent discomfort from indigestion caused by fermentation of undigested food particles in the gut. [00:06:30] Digestive enzyme production declines as we age. [00:06:32] Carnivore is filled with digestive enzymes like those naturally present in the body. [00:06:36] Enjoy the full potential of protein-rich foods again. [00:06:40] You can eat protein-heavy foods now while minimizing the later indigestion and discomfort commonly associated with high-meat diets. [00:06:47] Just one pill with every high-protein meal helps increase the bioavailability and absorption of amino acids, the building blocks to your muscles. [00:06:55] Carnivore also contains digestive enzymes to help digest fats and carbohydrates so you can fully digest all types of meals. [00:07:02] Don't let a meal go to waste.
