Time Text
*intro music* Ladies and gentlemen, the pseudo-intellectual white liberals out there are the most ignorant, intolerant people I've ever met in my life.
And I'm speaking from experience.
Now, we understand that you go out and you want to virtue signal for injustices being done to black people or injustices being done to Muslim people.
Fine.
You know what?
There's cases where you're probably right.
But if you want to know who is really being discriminated in this country more than anyone else, look no further than Donald Trump supporters.
Now, this has been proven in spades, folks.
Look at all of the video footage.
Look at all of the stories we have from around the nation.
You can't compile video footage like this against any other group of people.
You can't compile stories about any other group of people.
Getting assaulted, spit on, and beat up.
And guess what?
It's not just white Donald Trump supporters.
We've had our own reporters here at Infowars.com, Ashley Beckford.
She goes out on the street on a Trump hat.
She's called a race traitor.
You have Latinos who go out and file reports just with their hat on from their own cell phone.
They get jumped and beaten.
I go out.
I don't even have any Trump gear on.
They just see my Infowars mic flag and know that I'm associated with liking Trump, and they don't let me move.
They assault me.
So let's be perfectly clear.
To all those social justice warriors out there who virtue signal for the people who are discriminated against in this country, when are you going to stand up for Trump supporters?
When are you going to realize that all the hate and vitriol that's been antagonized by the mainstream media That works you like a puppet and sends you out onto the street to protest.
When are you going to realize that it's the people you're protesting that are the ones being discriminated against?
This is the ultimate form of hypocrisy.
Ben Collins is a student at Austin Community College.
When he went to the safe space to execute his First Amendment right with a Trump hat on, he was deemed a terrorist.
So, Ben, you wear a Trump hat to school.
You're showing your support for Trump.
And all of a sudden, people think you're a terrorist.
Tell me about what happened.
Well, I was in there and I made some flyers that said safe spaces aren't real.
And I had a Trump hat, just a normal one.
And I was in there and I gave it to the lady.
And all of a sudden, these people, two or three of these people that were just sitting down, minding their own business, came up to me and were just telling me to get out of the safe space and that I was threatening them and being threatening.
And I told them it's free speech, First Amendment.
And I just left because I don't want to cause any more problems.
And then I got a notice from the dean saying I need to meet with him because there was a police report filed on me for terroristic threat or something.
So let's just paint this picture for the audience.
You're going to school.
You're at the Austin Community College.
You're just wearing your Trump gear, minding your own business.
People get triggered.
And then I guess they are the ones that filed the complaint to the police then?
Yes, because the police never came to me or anything.
I just left the scene.
And then I guess they called the police after that.
They came and filed a report and emailed me.
Yeah, so I was exactly what you said.
So was there any other confrontation other than you just walking by with your hat and the sign and then them just saying that they were offended?
Did you say anything else to them?
I didn't say anything to them until they came up to me.
No, sir.
They just started, they came up to me, they started telling me to leave.
That's when I started telling them First Amendment, it's just a hat, safe spaces aren't real, yada yada, and then I just ended up leaving.
Now, this safe space, this is something that's been trending on your campus.
They've put signs up.
Have there been students promoting safe spaces?
Oh, yeah.
They have just one safe space there.
And I ended up going to a student government meeting with these professors talking, and they all promote the safe space.
And they're all for trigger warnings in classes, more safe spaces, and all that kind of good stuff, you know.
So let me get this straight.
It's a safe place or a safe space, but not for you.
Right, right.
Not for me.
Only for them.
Only for their ideology.
Okay, so I see.
So you try to execute your First Amendment right in the safe space, but you're rejected.
It's not safe for you.
Then the people file the police complaint.
Now, this is when it starts to get even more interesting.
So you got an email that notified you you had to be seen by the dean because of your apparel, because of your sign in the so-called safe space.
And this was something that surprised you.
You weren't expecting it.
No, sir.
I was not expecting it because, like I said, I didn't talk to the police in person or anything like that.
I'd left that scene and all of a sudden I got an email saying I got to meet with the dean.
It was very random.
I was very alerted by it.
See, I responded to ask them what was going on.
They said it was because of a file reporter from the police.
So I was pretty alarmed by that.
Yeah, and you sent me those emails, the email saying, we need to see you at the dean's office, and you saying, for what is this, you weren't sure, and they said the police report.
So you also sent me some audio from the meeting with the dean as well.
So tell me, you don't know what's going on, you're sitting down with the dean, how did that meeting go?
Well, he was a nice dude.
What happened was exactly what I expected.
He was going to be very closed-minded and write to what he wanted to do and not even listen to me.
But he basically just...
He tried to make me, he told me, we will not file more police actions on you if you can convince me that you're not a terroristic threat to our campus.
And that's what the whole meeting was about, me trying to have to explain to him why I wasn't.
I mean, it's like, how do you even do that?
You shouldn't have to explain yourself.
I mean, do you mind trying to indulge me?
I mean, what did you say?
I mean, how do you even, how do you defend yourself?
How are you not a terrorist?
I don't know.
That's a good question.
I just kind of had to BS it.
I just kept telling them and reinforcing that here's what I was doing was just voicing my opinion, voicing my free speech in the safe space and actually all the ones that were being threatening towards me technically.
But hold on, but let me interrupt you because I'm just, did he ever, did he ever clarify why he thought you might be a terrorist?
Did he ever make that clarification?
Not really.
Really?
He just said it would be just because of the Trump hat and I was in the safe space is all that I really got.
And because the sign I had had warning with little caution signs, little funny caution signs on it.
And he said I was a terrorist threat because I guess the hat in the safe space and the caution sign.
So the gist of it to me and from what I heard in the audio that you sent me is you were deemed a terrorist threat because you had Donald Trump apparel on.
That's it.
You then tried to execute your first amendment right in the safe space zone.
You got shut down from that.
And you had to have a meeting with the Dean to describe how you weren't a terrorist, but you didn't actually do anything terroristic.
You just wore the Trump hat.
So basically, your school, the Austin Community College, has deemed Trump supporters that wear Trump apparel terrorists, essentially, unless they decry themselves.
True.
That is shocking.
Now, do you wear your Trump hat around campus often?
Was this the first time?
Had you done it before?
Had you ever experienced anything like this before?
Oh, yeah.
This is actually...
This is just another day, honestly, because I used to wear...
Right now I have my inauguration cap on, but I used to have my Make America Great Again hat and I get dirty looks.
You know, that's not bad.
But one time I was driving by with a Trump flag on the campus, just driving.
I got a glass bottle thrown at me.
And then the cops turned the story on me and they told me that I was the one that was inciting violence.
Yeah, for your Trump flag.
I've had several encounters on this campus, the Highland campus.
Just pretty sad, to be honest.
And you were telling me that you went back to the dean because this happened before the inauguration.
And you went after and you said, hey, look, Donald Trump's the president now.
Can I wear my presidential gear?
Can I wear President Trump gear without being deemed a terrorist?
And how was that meant?
No, then he said, I can almost quote it.
He said, remember, your activities were deemed threatening in nature.
That's what he said.
So basically saying you can wear it, but something might happen.
So basically taking away your First Amendment right, your right to wear President Trump gear, make America great again hat, now you're deemed a terrorist and now you don't have your First Amendment right?
Is this how I understand it?
Is this correct?
That is correct.
Okay, so Ben...
What, are you gonna continue to wear your Trump hat?
I know, I actually, I saw you at the Pro Life March here in Austin.
You had your Trump flag, so obviously they haven't scared you out of supporting Trump.
I see you've got some conservative stuff there behind you.
So, but what about on campus?
Have you continued to try to voice your support for Trump on campus, or have they successfully stymied your First Amendment?
Well, they'll never stop me.
I always keep wearing it.
They can honestly...
I don't really care.
I mean, I'm willing to get, if they're going to do anything, I'm willing to have that happen.
I'll take them to court.
But I'm not going to stop wearing it.
He's the president.
I can do, I can voice that if I want.
Just because they're disagreeing doesn't mean they have that right to do that to me.
So it sounds like most of the staff at the Austin Community College, certainly the dean to an extent, probably the professors, don't like Donald Trump, don't like your message.
Right.
It's all just, I mean, some of them, the first day of class, they immediately start with pro-life, not pro-life, pro-safe space, no guns.
I mean, they just, they're all just liberals and they all push their agenda.
And I've had many professors who are just extremely, it's almost, I almost don't even go to class, but I'm willing to, I'm open-minded, so I have to go and stuff.
So, but yeah, that's just how it is.
I just accepted it.
Man, it must be tough knowing the professors are, Well, of that mindset, and you still have to go learn from them.
What about the students, though?
I mean, what is the reaction you've gotten from the students?
Have you told your fellow students this story?
I have not.
Number one, because I really don't think any of them would care.
Two, I just, I don't really know many people there.
I mean, I know people there.
The only people I know, though, are people who use pro-Trump people that I know.
But everyone else there, if they see me with the Trump pad, I usually get, they're pretty infringing on.
Conservative views there.
So, yeah.
So it sounds like, you know, you're pretty...
You keep to yourself, but you wanted to wear some presidential gear, some Trump gear, so they deemed you a terrorist, and now they try to stymie your First Amendment.
Hey, I will say this.
You don't have to do this, but if you go to the safe space, I've seen the sign.
It says LGBTQ safe space.
Why don't you go there, take the White House press release from today where it says Donald Trump will stand up for LGBTQ workplace rights.
So why don't you just go?
You don't even have to wear Trump gear.
Just go pass that story out.
How do you think they'd respond to that?
I don't know, man, because I tried to pass something else out, but I know it wasn't as on par with that, but I think they would even say, well, he's just trying to get votes.
He's just this, this, that.
But I might try that because I think that they might get a mixed reaction from that.
All right, Ben.
Well, I hope it's safe, and I hope that they consider you to be not a terrorist and you get your safe space and your First Amendment right.
Thanks, Ben.
Appreciate it.
Thank you, man.
