Richard Reeves with Infowars.com in Iowa City at a Ted Cruz event.
And we have an interloper visiting to check out Ted Cruz.
We have Anna from Illinois.
Tells us she's a Democrat.
But you're still here, so you're obviously interested.
So tell us what's going on.
Absolutely.
So I'm here in Iowa visiting a dear old friend from college.
And this is the fifth event we've been able to attend in our short visit.
We're heading back to Chicago tonight.
Rubio, Hillary, Bernie, and now Cruz.
So tell us some of the highlights you've seen so far.
Well, it was very striking.
Bernie's crowd was definitely the most fired up.
I was a little surprised by Trump's crowd.
It was a big crowd and they were enthusiastic.
Bernie's crowd was like a Led Zeppelin reunion tour.
I mean, they were just...
So they pretty much had the mosh pit going, right?
Just about.
Just about.
They were absolutely thrilled to be there.
Couldn't have been more excited.
Cornel West was the opening speaker, and he presented like a preacher.
Talking to the choir, so they were very excited.
All the other crowds had been good, but not quite on fire that way.
So you can confirm the enthusiasm gap between Hillary's crowds and Bernie's?
Yeah, I did see that.
Hillary's crowd was enthusiastic.
Bernie's was off the charts.
It was really almost like either a revival meeting or some major, major...
You know, biggest band in the world, like you're coming to see the Rolling Stones or something like that.
And it was fairly, it was not huge, it was several hundred people, but the energy was just crazy.
Okay, so tell us, let's compare the GOP events that you've been to then.
Give us kind of a breakdown of what you witnessed there.
Well, unfortunately, I had to miss the Rubio event yesterday because I had some work to do.
They were describing, according to my friends, and they also went to Christie, let's see, they did Christie, Rubio, and Paul.
And they found that Trump was very, very general.
Kind of very broad statements, not a lot of policy.
According to my friends who've been to all the other events, there was much more policy detail from the other three GOP contenders that they've seen.
So for your friends in attendance, was that a big concern to them then?
We're here to learn about all of this.
I don't think anyone from our group is...
Particularly concerned on behalf of any of the candidates, I don't know if I'd put it that way, but they're interested in learning what do people care about, what do these different candidates have to say, but I think just as much it's about learning from the crowds.
You know, what is the big applause line in this or that group?
What's on folks' minds the most?
And, you know, we're just learning about our fellow Americans that way.
Well, Ana, I appreciate you being active in the process, so that's great.
Any final words for our audience?
Well, that's a very good question.
Just make sure you come out and caucus.
Whoever you are supporting, you know, do your part and make your voice heard.
