He Brings Them On Board
00:03:17
|
|
| Four years ago, when they had the prisoners, four years ago, you go and say, you have to let our prisoners go. | |
| And I tell this to people. | |
| It's like 101. Business 101. You have to let our prisoners go. | |
| And they're going to say no. | |
| Okay. | |
| You leave the room. | |
| There's nothing wrong with leaving. | |
| I did it the other night for the debate. | |
| I left. | |
| You know? | |
| And I love Fox and I love Roger Ailes and all those guys. | |
| But I'll tell you what, they weren't treating me right. | |
| They put out some nasty memos. | |
| And by the way, if I was there, the Washington Post and other papers, they didn't do very well. | |
| I'll tell you, they did about half the number they should have had. | |
| They did 12 million. | |
| When I was there for the first one, we did 24 million. | |
| And they want to put a spin on it, and that's okay. | |
| And it had nothing to do with, what was her name, Megan Kelly? | |
| I don't care about her. | |
| What the hell difference does her make? | |
| I didn't get treated fairly by her, but I don't care about her. | |
| I didn't like it when they sent out a memo. | |
| And I had to get an apology. | |
| And I wanted $5 million to go to our veterans, right? | |
| So they said, well, no. | |
| Actually, I thought they said yes for a while, but in the end they said no. | |
| So I didn't do the debate. | |
| I held a thing, and some of you were there probably. | |
| Did you ever see lines like that? | |
| We had 800 people. | |
| We had 800 seats. | |
| We had lines that would have filled up a stadium. | |
| And I felt badly because so many people got turned away. | |
| People in this crowd got turned away. | |
| And we had lines that would have filled up the stadium. | |
| And we raised, in one hour, $6 million for the events. | |
| How about that? | |
| So tell us what you thought about this Donald Trump event. | |
| Oh, I enjoyed it. | |
| I've been watching a lot of the events on TV, and I'm just really impressed with him. | |
| I was just telling somebody a few minutes ago. | |
| We've had politicians in office for years and what do we have to show for it? | |
| So I think it's time to have someone with a business background and see what he can do. | |
| So that's one of your top issues is about the economy. | |
| What's another issue? | |
| It's leadership. | |
| It's leadership. | |
| We don't have leadership. | |
| Looks like he could lead in all areas. | |
| Well, seeing as hiking and flying on that big Boeing jet... | |
| That's impressive. | |
| That's impressive. | |
| I mean, he has a commanding presence. | |
| Right now, whether he wins or not, he has a commanding presence. | |
| Well, it's interesting because I noticed back last summer when he first announced that he was already getting coverage as big as the president, if not bigger. | |
| And also, just by what he's talking about, I mean, he talked about the Iranian hostages, the ones that were being held for so long, the four or five, and he kept talking about it. | |
| At every event, he would talk about those hostages, and they released them. | |
| So he's making things happen. | |
| He's not even president making things happen. | |
| I have noticed that in different areas. | |
| Well, just all of the topics that all the candidates are talking about. | |
| Until he brings them up, they're not talking about them. | |
| And he brings them up and all of a sudden everybody's on board with it. | |
| Well, it's like I think yesterday or the day before the news broke that in some European countries like Sweden and... | |
| Some of the European countries that they're actually going to export some of the refugees. | |
| Exactly. | |
| And places that we're letting them in are now building a wall. | |
| So, yeah, you know, I'm impressed with him. | |
