Special Reports & Tweets - Trump Exhibits Power Beyond Presidential Aired: 2016-01-30 Duration: 03:17 === He Brings Them On Board (03:17) === [00:00:00] Four years ago, when they had the prisoners, four years ago, you go and say, you have to let our prisoners go. [00:00:05] And I tell this to people. [00:00:07] It's like 101. Business 101. You have to let our prisoners go. [00:00:10] And they're going to say no. [00:00:11] Okay. [00:00:12] You leave the room. [00:00:13] There's nothing wrong with leaving. [00:00:15] I did it the other night for the debate. [00:00:17] I left. [00:00:18] You know? [00:00:21] And I love Fox and I love Roger Ailes and all those guys. [00:00:24] But I'll tell you what, they weren't treating me right. [00:00:26] They put out some nasty memos. [00:00:28] And by the way, if I was there, the Washington Post and other papers, they didn't do very well. [00:00:34] I'll tell you, they did about half the number they should have had. [00:00:37] They did 12 million. [00:00:39] When I was there for the first one, we did 24 million. [00:00:42] And they want to put a spin on it, and that's okay. [00:00:44] And it had nothing to do with, what was her name, Megan Kelly? [00:00:47] I don't care about her. [00:00:48] What the hell difference does her make? [00:00:50] I didn't get treated fairly by her, but I don't care about her. [00:00:52] I didn't like it when they sent out a memo. [00:00:55] And I had to get an apology. [00:00:56] And I wanted $5 million to go to our veterans, right? [00:01:00] So they said, well, no. [00:01:02] Actually, I thought they said yes for a while, but in the end they said no. [00:01:05] So I didn't do the debate. [00:01:07] I held a thing, and some of you were there probably. [00:01:09] Did you ever see lines like that? [00:01:11] We had 800 people. [00:01:13] We had 800 seats. [00:01:14] We had lines that would have filled up a stadium. [00:01:16] And I felt badly because so many people got turned away. [00:01:19] People in this crowd got turned away. [00:01:22] And we had lines that would have filled up the stadium. [00:01:25] And we raised, in one hour, $6 million for the events. [00:01:30] How about that? [00:01:32] So tell us what you thought about this Donald Trump event. [00:01:35] Oh, I enjoyed it. [00:01:36] I've been watching a lot of the events on TV, and I'm just really impressed with him. [00:01:42] I was just telling somebody a few minutes ago. [00:01:45] We've had politicians in office for years and what do we have to show for it? [00:01:50] So I think it's time to have someone with a business background and see what he can do. [00:01:56] So that's one of your top issues is about the economy. [00:01:58] What's another issue? [00:02:00] It's leadership. [00:02:01] It's leadership. [00:02:02] We don't have leadership. [00:02:05] Looks like he could lead in all areas. [00:02:07] Well, seeing as hiking and flying on that big Boeing jet... [00:02:11] That's impressive. [00:02:11] That's impressive. [00:02:12] I mean, he has a commanding presence. [00:02:16] Right now, whether he wins or not, he has a commanding presence. [00:02:19] Well, it's interesting because I noticed back last summer when he first announced that he was already getting coverage as big as the president, if not bigger. [00:02:27] And also, just by what he's talking about, I mean, he talked about the Iranian hostages, the ones that were being held for so long, the four or five, and he kept talking about it. [00:02:37] At every event, he would talk about those hostages, and they released them. [00:02:40] So he's making things happen. [00:02:43] He's not even president making things happen. [00:02:45] I have noticed that in different areas. [00:02:47] Well, just all of the topics that all the candidates are talking about. [00:02:50] Until he brings them up, they're not talking about them. [00:02:53] And he brings them up and all of a sudden everybody's on board with it. [00:02:57] Well, it's like I think yesterday or the day before the news broke that in some European countries like Sweden and... [00:03:03] Some of the European countries that they're actually going to export some of the refugees. [00:03:08] Exactly. [00:03:09] And places that we're letting them in are now building a wall. [00:03:14] So, yeah, you know, I'm impressed with him.
