Now, we just left the Emanuel AME Church, and now we're here at a park where a group is starting to gather.
We'll walk with them and see what the people have to say concerning the shooting done by Dylan Ruth.
We're all going to do this together.
We're not doing this with microphones and things like that.
We're doing this for the glory of God.
Who's our audience?
He is.
That's the audience that we want to hear, and this is a great moment of unity.
And God will use this as a blessing.
So we're gonna get started.
We'll head up by this front here and we'll start off and then we'll all just dive in and follow behind.
We'll be right back.
Some people are remaining silent, choosing to pray instead.
But as you can see, all races, all ages represented.
people just coming together to support their community.
And we've seen large amounts of crowds that There still was a sizable crowd back at the church.
Many different groups being represented out here, whether activists or religious groups, many different religious leaders from the community.
I'm just going to make a pause at the meeting.
I'm just going to make a pause at the meeting.
This is what democracy looks like.
Black Lives Matter!
Black Lives Matter!
I would just like to thank every one of you for coming out and showing support.
We are here because of these nine names listed here today.
We cannot overlook that.
We are here because they are not.
And we will lift them up here today.
Black Lives Matter!
Black Lives Matter!
America's nightmare is America waking up.
Good morning, America says.
You're a true patriot.
Don't let America die.
Don't let America's death be in vain.
Fight for America.
This is good mourning.
The black and brown bruises on the American body must be cut off, must be amputated, or risk infection spreading.
Sleep, America.
This is an age-old procedure.
Perfected or inject local anesthetic Remove, bruise, move, repeat procedure Or just sleep It'll be all over when you wake up This is the next time to prepare for fire This is America burning This is America learning This is no nightmare.
This is America waking up realizing its bruises have not been removed, may not be removable.
And trying, trying, trying to remove these imperfections or risk infections spreading.
This black becoming blacker.
This brown becoming more.
This body belonging to this mind that has perfected seeing itself as pristine.
This is America operating, white America cutting into her native skin, excising what does not belong.
What she does not want to see.
Cut deeper.
Cut to the white.
It burns, but it's worth burning.
Not seeing it must be worth the price.
This is America screaming.
This is America waking up.
This is the next time.
Prepare for fire.
The remains will be black.
This is America on the brink of break.
Ever aware of a two-ness of which there is a con- Unconstitutional greater and lesser.
Necessary evils that history won't heal and Hennessy won't help.
Darkness and lightness created in the likeness of white God and white Jesus.
Who would rather see white America burn than see it turn into what it already is, what it always was.
America becoming awake.
America becoming aware.
Is America becoming so scared of what she knows she is capable of doing to herself?
Dream sweet, America.
Dream deep.
Breathe deeper.
Now deeper.
And sleep.
Sleep.
You were made from this.
You were made for this.
You were made by this.
You are on fire.
This is the next time America is burning.
God gave Noah the rainbow sign.
No more water.
The fire next time.

Thank you.
There is no more important time in our country's history than right now.
There is no more important time in our state's history than right now.
So as we stand here today, we must embrace this fierce urgency of now and ask ourselves two very simple questions.
And I must apologize beforehand for bombarding you with questions that are rooted in such simplicity but they're necessary to answer as we understand and embrace this urgency.
The first question is how far have we come?
*thud* And the next question is, where do we go from here?
And understanding this first question, or asking yourself this first question of how far have we come, we have to remember that February 8, 1968, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, we had another massacre just like this.
Where students were in their sovereign places, known as South Carolina State University.
And three students were killed, Henry Smith, Samuel Hammond, and Delano Middleton, and another 27 were wounded.
So ask yourself that very simple question since 1968, how far have we come?
Look around your communities.
We still have a corridor of shame in South Carolina where infrastructure is falling apart and little black boys and little black girls are going to school where their infrastructure is falling apart and their heating and air don't work.
Ask yourself that very simple question, how far have we come?
We live in a community where In certain counties, you don't even have a hospital where if you have a heart attack, the nearest hospital is 30, 45 miles away and you get a death sentence.
So ask yourself that very simple question, how far have we come?
We live in a community where the grasp of poverty has placed its grip on both our newborn and elderly alike and escaping the trap of impoverishment has become synonymous with the proverbial dog that chases his tail.
So again, ask yourself that very simple question.
How far have we come?
I think on Wednesday night we realized that in this great state, in this great country, we've made progress, but we still have yet a ways to go.
So the challenge that we have before us is, where do we go from here?
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., he gave us two choices.
He said we can either have chaos, or we can have what's standing out here before me today in front of my eyes, which is community.
I knew Dr. Pinckney.
I served with Clemente Pinckney in the South Carolina General Assembly, so my heart breaks.
My words tremble.
My soul is bare.
But I stand before you today to tell you that joy cometh in the morning.
Because we will no longer sit quiet.
We will stand up.
We will stand up.
We will not be defeated.
Now, we don't want to mention this man's name, who committed this heinous act, but he was a human drone.
It's the same kind of thing that our country uses in a mechanical way across the water to kill people at weddings, at funeral times, trying to live their lives.
If we want to talk about stopping the violence, the violence has to stop from the top down.
We live in a country that's predicated on violence.
It's been at war every 20 years since it's existed.
It can find $1.5 million per troop per tour to send our kids, our mothers, our fathers, our sons, our daughters, our cousins, our uncles off to fight in lands of where people of color died, denied their rights. our uncles off to fight in lands of where people This is what this is about.
This is about a worldwide struggle against violence, imperialism, and white supremacy.
And let's not understand what the terms are.
We hear people talk about, "Well, I'm not racist." We live in one of the most racist countries in America, but yet you can never find a racist.
We're all racist, because it's in the water we drink.
If a black cop is beating up on a black kid, he's operating under a system of white supremacy and racism.
Racism is about power, and we've got to take that power back.
Now, I'm an old organizer, so I want to leave there with us doing some tasks.
Now, the most immediate tasks that everybody's talking about is taking that flag down.
We can take that flag down, but it's going to take it.
These people sacrificed their lives.
We can sacrifice dollars by not spending money with people that support the politicians, that support that flag being on the statehouse ground.
We can demand that some of those statues and monuments to white supremacy all around this city, all around this state, on the statehouse ground.
We can demand that those be removed and heroes like Denmark, BC, be put on this statehouse ground.
But we've got to stay engaged.
We've got to go to the meet.
We have to go to the meet.
We cannot sit back, march, and then let them meet and continue to do business as usual.
We've got to confront them in their businesses.
We've got to confront them at the statehouse.
We've got to challenge them in the polls.
It's time to fight the power.
Thank you very much.
Love is the answer.
Love is the answer.
I will say to you, my sisters and brothers, in prayer, pray with me so that we can pray with me so that we can have a peaceful life here on earth until our time has counted.
Heavenly Father, we thank you, Lord, for your grace and mercy.
We thank you for bringing us in the midst, for we know at this time that families are struggling, going through a difficult time with the Lord.
But God, we know that if we hold on to your unchanging hand, that you will see us through.
So Father, we ask that you will continue to guide us, guide those who are lost.
And we pray not just for the families that's going through the difficult times, but we are here still going through this difficult time.
The pain is heavy in our hearts and our minds, but we ask that you will allow us to be able to heal you, Lord.
So, Father, touch each and every soul that's here right now today.
Go into their homes and Father, let them open you up and know that you're with them.
And gracious Father, we just thank you for your precious love.
And we ask that you will give us peace from this day forward.
And that we will grow together in understanding one another.
Whether we are Buddhism, Muslim, Poism, whatever-ism.
We ask that you allow the racism to be erased so that we can see the race that we're supposed to be racing toward, and that's for you.
So right now I just say thank you, God, and thank you for this moment, and let's just love one another and remove the pain of hate.
In Jesus' name we pray forevermore.
Amen.
Amen.
Many people marched down the streets in Charleston, South Carolina.
Many, I mean, a thousand plus easily people, you know.
Races, colors, all that, ages.
Marched peacefully down the streets.
Really no problems, really no traffic problems.
You know, the motorists were very cautious of the pedestrians.
The police had the streets blocked off.
So it wasn't that big of a deal as far as crowd control.
But the crowd was polite.
And even when they returned after the meeting was over, after the demonstration over, they got back onto the sidewalks and marched peacefully down the street back to Emanuel AME.

The globalists have controlled the mainstream media for a long time.
But now they're expanding, making the weaponization even more vicious and deceptive.
All the major networks are state-run.
We are partnering this year with the NFL.
The NFL has become a political weapon against the Second Amendment and pushes Obamacare.
MSNBC tells us that our children belong to the state.
We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.
It is more important than ever to realize that we are not the alternative media.
We are the true media.
The establishment dinosaur press is dying.
We are in an information war, and we are losing that war.
