| Hi, this is Dr. | |
| Pachenik and I want to address something that's very important today. | |
| While California is burning, the representatives from California are doing nothing but playing the fiddle. | |
| It's an old comment that says, while Rome was burning, Nero was playing his fiddle. | |
| What am I talking about? | |
| Nancy Pelosi has spent no time whatsoever In regard to the fact that 25 million people in California, her state, are hurting. | |
| They're under a red flag, meaning that the fires in the north, the fires in the south, and the fires in the middle of California will destroy millions of acres of woods, houses, and people have to flee on the Highway 405, 5, and 101. | |
| She has done nothing about it. | |
| At the same time, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Dianne Feinstein, all of them have never concerned themselves with the state of California as potential fire source. | |
| Now let me explain what I'm saying. | |
| Thirty years ago, I wrote a book called State of Emergency, wherein the Colorado River was the main supply of water to California. | |
| Sixty-five percent of California's water comes from the Colorado River. | |
| That river flows through New Mexico, Wyoming, Arizona, Colorado. | |
| Utah and comes from the waters in Montana, and it supplies the waters of San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. | |
| Other than that, they do not have any water supplies. | |
| Desalination in the San Diego area is about 8% of supplies. | |
| So in 30 years, what Nancy Pelosi and her henchman, Governor Newsom, who's totally ineffectual, What we have done is basically eliminate plastic bags and increase the gas mileage that you can have to preserve the atmosphere. | |
| The reality is that we need over five to ten thousand criminals from the prison systems in order to help us out to fight the fire and save lives. | |
| Instead of training them to the full degree that they deserve and reintegrating them into society, she decided not to give the necessary funds. | |
| Instead of creating desalination plants and understanding that we need that water in California, she decided to ignore it. | |
| So in fact, what we're having here is an absurd situation where Nancy Pelosi, who really doesn't understand what this nation is about, she said democracy exists. | |
| It's in danger. | |
| What she does not understand is not democracy. | |
| We are not a democracy, Nancy Pelosi. | |
| We are a republic. | |
| And the reason why you're a representative is the reason why we're a republic. | |
| If we were a democracy, Nancy Pelosi, I could vote you and everybody out because each one of us in the United States would have the internet and we could have direct Intervention into the nation state. | |
| So we are a republic. | |
| A republic is represented by representatives. | |
| And that's what you are, Nancy Pelosi. | |
| Democracy is not at stake. | |
| What's at stake is your job, the job of Adam Schiff, the job of Maxine Waters, all the Democrats and all the Republicans, 66 members who have done nothing to make California safe or Arizona safe or New Mexico safe. | |
| In turn, what we've had is a raging fire that has not stopped and could have been prevented. | |
| Who intervened on PGE's behalf and said, look, we're not going to throw you into bankruptcy. | |
| It was you, Nancy Pelosi, and it was your henchman, Governor Newsom, who did nothing with PG&E. And instead, they shut off the power and created more fires. | |
| Let me quote a famous person who said the following, water is life. | |
| Clean water is health. |
