OPUS 185 America doesnt Need Bad Guys
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
Hi, this is Dr.
Bachini.
Today I want to talk about the fact that America needs bad men.
And as an example of it, let me just give you Trump's statement, which is real or not real, but it's consistent with the past history of American bad men.
And that is Trump announced that Baghdadi, the head of ISIS, was killed by special forces and Delta Force.
And it's a consistent story.
And it's convenient because Turkey was involved, the Kurds were involved, Syria was involved, Russia was involved, everybody's involved.
Now lest you think That it's only Trump who comes up with a convenient story to resolve some kind of problem in foreign affairs.
Let me go back to Obama.
Now, Obama hadn't done anything in eight years of his administration, and suddenly, towards the end, thanks to John Brennan, thanks to military intelligence, thanks to the hypocrisy of our intelligence community, Obama announced that he had executed and killed Osama bin Laden thanks to the Admiral McRaven, And the seals.
Now, if you believe that, that's a stretch of imagination because as we know very well, Osama bin Laden had Marfan syndrome, had kidney dialysis and was dying already eight years before that and had been dead for quite a few years.
The point isn't whether it's true or not true.
The point is these bad guys are convenient.
And guys like John Brennan run to Hollywood and they make Zero Dark Thirty the movie and Kathryn Bigelow doesn't get distributed.
So let's go before Obama.
Then we get Bush Jr.
and Cheney and they come up with an incredible And that's Saddam Hussein, our ally for over 20 years, and conveniently, thanks to the mess-up that we had in Iraq and Afghanistan, a total disaster as a military operation, an intelligence operation, what do we get?
Once again, we find out that he's been killed by special forces and Delta.
But we don't see the actual death.
What we see is a picture of that death mirrored by another special forces soldier.
Now, again, let me go back and explain to you, these bad men are required in order to resolve unresolvable stories that make no sense whatsoever.
Attacks overseas that make no sense and have no rationale.
Now let's back to Bush Senior, whom I happen to know quite a lot about.
He required an invasion of Panama.
Now I was there when Noriega and I agreed, look, you're going to leave.
I gave him three planes, one for gold, one for his mistress.
And one for him to leave to Chateau in Spain.
I said, no problems here.
Cisneros, General Cisneros agreed with me.
I was at Southcom.
And once again, the ineffectual, pathological liar, Colin Powell, threw me off at Southcom.
But what I didn't know, and eventually occurred, was that we needed an invasion to take out Noriega.
He was the bad guy.
Well, we didn't need an invasion, because he already agreed with me months before that he was going to leave.
But as a bad guy, it had to require an invasion.
And what happened in that invasion?
We killed a few of our own people.
We killed a lot of Panamanians.
4,000 Panamanians died needlessly.
And we have generals who claim that they became famous because of the war in Panama.
So what we have in effect here...
It's a storyline created by our intelligence, created by our military, because we can't really come to the truth, which is simple.
We can't fight overseas.
We're not very effective.
These bad guys who we create, in fact, are the very allies that we've had all along.
And as Noriega once told me, after we cut bread, he said to me, look, Steve, the bottom line about America is you can never trust it, because if you become its ally, it will turn against you.
And the truth of the matter was, I then recalled Hillary Clinton.
What did she do?
She got rid of Gaddafi.
Suddenly, Gaddafi was a bad man.
And as a result of her stupidity and incompetence and the incompetence of our military generals and our Air Force, now we have hundreds of thousands of Africans Going into Europe, a million of those Africans went into Germany and Merkel couldn't handle it.
So this is a movie set where we constantly have bad guys and America has become a movie studio.
In the words of Nicholas, in the words of the famous actor, and in the movie A Few Good Men, the actor yells out, you can't handle the truth.
And the truth of the matter is American leaders cannot handle the truth.
We don't need bad guys.
We just need to go on and create our own governments.
