Pacheco, and I want to reiterate that I support President Trump's statements that we no longer want to be in wars related to Klan fights or any country battles or anything to do with overseas conflicts.
We don't do well.
We didn't do well in World War I. We didn't win World War II. We didn't win North Korea.
We didn't win Vietnam, we didn't win Iraq, we didn't win Somalia, Sudan, Libya, I can go on and on and on.
I'm in the business of taking out regimes, I'm in the business of taking out leaders.
When I went into Syria, when I went into Afghanistan, When I went into Iran, I warned our people, particularly the CIA, which was highly dysfunctional, run by people like Petraeus, Bolton, Neel Kahn, and they decided they wanted to go into Syria.
I said, that's very dangerous.
Bashar Assad is an Alawite.
He's not a Muslim.
He's an Alawite.
They control all of Syria, northern Syria and has Kurds.
There are about 2 million Kurds.
There are over 40 million Kurds all over the world.
15 million in Turkey.
They're in the southeastern section of Turkey and they're in the northeastern section of Syria.
The Kurds have been opportunistic.
They're PKK, They're YPG. They will do whatever that we need them to do because we pay them a lot of money in the same way that we pay Erdogan a lot of money.
We created ISIS. ISIS was created under Obama, Brennan, Clinton.
ISIS was the artifact of the invasion of Iraq, which was a disaster thanks to John Bolton, Zal-Mikhala Zad, the neocons.
And as a result of that, the Iranians came out as winners.
And in turn, we had Kurdistan in the north of Iraq.
Barzani runs that.
As a result, ISIS went into Syria.
It was totally composed of Turkish soldiers who allowed the ISIS and al-Qaeda people to come right through Turkey.
We funded it.
And at the same time, we funded a counterinsurgency against ISIS. So we're in the business of making war against ourselves.
War is not a very good business.
Even Eisenhower said, beware the military industrial complex.
And what is war good for?
Absolutely nothing.
But let me tell you very clearly, Iran is a very strong power.
It will not tolerate any of these conflicts in the Middle East.
It will use its own Kurds, which are located in the southeast corner of Iran.
There are about two million Kurds, as I said, in northern Syria.
They will not be harmed.
The ISIS soldiers who are escaped will be captured.
We do not need to put our own soldiers in harm's way.
We can use mercenaries.
That's why we have Eric Prince.
And he in turn had Blackwater.
Now he has a new mercenary unit out of UAE. The Israelis, if they want to, can help us because they now have over 200,000 Kurds.
So the Kurds are located all over the world.
But primarily, the Kurds will serve whoever serves their interests.
At that particular point in time, We had an interest to fight ISIS because we created ISIS. Remember one axiom.
The business of foreign policy is business.
In turn, we have to understand that we have no allies, we have no friends, we have national security interest.
It is not in our national security interest at present to be in the Middle East.
We have issues with the Far East right now, with China, with China being an economic power and becoming an industrial power.
We have to concentrate our forces And our capabilities in order to enter a new type of war, which is called cyber war and cyber command.
We are not way ahead of the curve.
As a matter of fact, Amazon just received the $10 billion contract from DoD.
That's Amazon.
Your retailer received a $10 billion contract from DOD in order to be able to create cyber warfare or provide the cloud that we could not provide for our own government.
The CIA gave out $600 million to Amazon in order to provide a cloud so that we could be in cyber command.
Let's remember what Trump said.
Wars are not useful.
We have no interest in wars in the Middle East, tribal wars, or anywhere else.
