OPUS 134 Brexit Epic Failure

	Hi, this is Dr.
	Buchanan.
	Tomorrow, March 29th, will signify the day in which Brexit was supposed to occur.
	Three years ago, I predicted that Brexit would not occur, and more importantly, that Theresa May, the Prime Minister of England, was not qualified to be in charge of Brexit.
	And the reason was, she's a very nice lady.
	I like her.
	But I saw that she was not really invested with any skills that would allow her to make the strategy and the tactics required to implement a very sophisticated plan of leaving the EU. What do I mean?
	I first said she had no psychological insights into individuals or to groups.
	That turned out to be quite correct.
	She really didn't know how to manage her own strategic forces and how to manage her own conservative parliament.
	Secondly, Parliament was not helpful with her, and it broke apart.
	And so it showed that she really didn't know how to manage her own group.
	Thirdly, she had to have her name into every negotiation, which is a no-no in major strategic negotiations.
	What do I mean?
	There was Theresa May negotiating with Scotland, Theresa May negotiating with the EU, Theresa May negotiating with Wales.
	That's not what you do when you negotiate a major strategy for a major country.
	Let me give you an example.
	When I was involved in creating the country of Cambodia after we disarmed the Khmer Rouge, I did not put my name in the forefront.
	In fact, I allowed the French to take the first chance and the leadership, and I allowed the five countries that were involved in the Perm 5, France, England, Russia, China, and the United States, All to be together and to create a collective strategy for Cambodia.
	And subsequently 25 years of Cambodia has been fine.
	No Khmer Rouge.
	Hun Sen has been the leader and we don't know anything about Dr.
	Pachenik or anybody else.
	The point, in fact, is she had her narcissism tied up in everything and that was her own downfall because she cornered herself into corners that she couldn't get out of.
	In turn, Brexit was really not an issue of the EU as much as it was Germany.
	The key to Brexit is never Brussels or the 30,000 people in Brussels that are considered the The key to Brexit and the key to the EU is Germany.
	That's the Schwerpunkt or the strategic focus where you go to negotiate an agreement quietly before you deal with the rest of the EU. Why?
	Because the EU was created by the French in order to stop German aggression.
	Because the two world wars where Germany really defeated France.
	So it was a very ineffectual method to really co-opt Germany into the EU. She didn't understand that.
	Thirdly, but not last, she had no idea of really what the tactic was in terms of the implementation.
	She had to go around And was blindsided repeatedly.
	Even Juncker, the head of the EU Commission said, if Brexit is like the Sphinx, then the Sphinx is an open book.
	I have no idea what they're doing in Brexit.
	And he was right.
	In fact, right now it's chaos.
	What I strongly recommend is that Brexit not occur, at least not occur for the next two years, because there's no agreement as to what it means, what they're going to lose, what they have to pay.
	And what in fact will be the end result of England?
	The England that we knew, which defeated Germany in World War I and defeated Germany in World War II. Secondly, Brexit will not occur because Theresa May will have to resign.
	There's no question about it.
	If I were she, I would have said right away, I'm going to resign.
	Not to resign if I'm successful, which was a very narcissistic statement on her part.
	And very, very self-aggrandizing and selfish.
	She should resign now and say, look, I'm not qualified.
	I have not been successful.
	England is far more important than I am or my success.
	And let England decide whatever that element may be.
	From my point of view as a strategist, I would have used MI5, MI6, Oxford, Cambridge, the financial sector, all to come together and create a strategy for Brexit.
	Let me quote Bob Herbert.
	Of the New York Times, he said the following, incompetency, arrogance, and power are a very dangerous mixture, and I say they will eventually blow up in your face and in your country.
