Hi everybody, Stefan Molyneux from Freedom, I hope you're doing well.
A couple of thoughts about Planet COVID, the 2020 commie burka that pretty much conforms to the age-old Billy Idol song, Eyes Without a Face.
So, a couple of thoughts.
Imagine you have...
A very difficult and dangerous contracting job.
They've got to build some bridge over a giant ravine and they say, hey man, the quickest we can do it safely is 10 months.
10 months is the quickest we can do it safely.
And even then, likelihood is it's going to take a couple of tries and all that, but 10 months minimum we can do to build this thing, right?
And then... Turns out that they built this whole thing in two and a half weeks.
So, hey, we need 10 months for the safety stuff, man.
But, hey, funny story turns out we got it done in like two and a half weeks.
And you can just, you know, just start driving the big heavy trucks.
We can run a train across that thing.
You could probably even land a Stuka or a helicopter.
No problem, man. Just start rolling.
Just start rolling the damn thing out.
We drove a couple of trucks off.
It seems fine. So then, of course, your question is, okay, well, if you needed 10 months to do it safely...
What safety standards have you bypassed in order to get it done in two and a half weeks?
Also, if those safety standards can be safely bypassed, why did they exist in the first place?
Why would it have taken you 10 months to build something it turns out you can do in two and a half weeks?
And if those safety standards are essential and necessary, that's why it was going to take you 10 months, how the hell did you get it done?
In two and a half weeks.
A pretty reasonable question, because they're asking you to put in stuff that, you know, does quite a lot to your body, into your body, with this vaccine.
And I'll ask the question, nobody's going to answer it.
The mainstream media should be hounding the governments and the companies with this question.
Okay, since a vaccine takes, a regular old antibody vaccine takes about 10 years, To go from soup to nuts, from start to finish, to get out into the general population.
And can take longer, but say 10 years.
And given that over the course of that, 94% of those vaccines are going to fail.
Either they're too dangerous, they don't achieve their goals, there's something like that, right?
Or there's too many side effects.
So given that it takes 10 years, 94% failure rate, if you got it done in a couple of months, what safety standards did you bypass?
It's kind of an important question, right?
Would you drive your truck across that bridge over a canyon if they said it minimum is 10 months for safety, but if we got it done in two and a half weeks, just go for it?
I wouldn't, but, you know, I guess everybody's going to have to make their own decisions.
That's the first thing. That needs to be asked.
And, you know, these days you kind of have to map where society is by what's not being talked about, by what's not being asked, by what's not being referenced, i.e.
Texas lawsuit. And nobody's asking what safety standards were bypassed or eliminated in order to get the COVID vaccine done in time.
It's a kind of a new thing. It's a coronavirus vaccine.
It's kind of a new thing. So that seems like a pretty important thing.
Now, the second thing is that Christmas is coming up.
Of course, now up here in Canada, about a third of people have told the government to go take a long walk off a short pier.
As the saying goes, we're going to have Christmas.
You cannot consign me to old VCR tapes and finger puppets and stale stuff.
Christmas cake for Christmas.
I'm not doing it alone.
I'm going to get together with my family and screw you if you say I can't, right?
And of course, the government is appalled, shocked, shocked and appalled.
Now, I'm not a big one for helping the government, but I'm going to step out of my comfort zone at this particular moment and I'm going to tell the government, you know, you all claim to take coronavirus really seriously, COVID-19 really, really seriously.
I think it's something that's kind of alarming, particularly the erectile dysfunction part.
But anyway, you want people...
To socially distance for Christmas and for New Year's.
And they're basically telling you, no, we're pretty much going to go do our thing, right?
Now, you take this all very seriously, so I'm going to step out of the anarcho-capitalist comfort zone and tell you how you need to get this thing achieved, which is more social distancing over Christmas.
So I can tell you exactly why people are telling you to go screw yourselves when it comes to no Christmas, no New Year's.
It's because... People have been watching all year.
Massive left-wing protests.
There's huge protests recently in Canada about the privatization of Indian farm policy or something like that.
And it's like, okay, so hundreds or thousands of people are getting together, a lot of them without masks.
They're all crushed in together.
They're all marching in protest.
And you're not allowed to sing, but apparently you can scream anti-capitalist slogans at the top of your voice.
But because you see it's a China virus, it doesn't mind.
So if you want the general population to accede to your requests or your commandments or whatever weird laws you're pulling out of the black hole source of this current tyranny with the doctor in a flashlight as your only means of getting them out.
If you want people to listen to what you have to say, then what you have to say is, hey, man, we screwed up.
We bow to political correctness.
We let protected groups.
We let leftist people all get together and protest and sometimes riot.
and that's really bad we're gonna go back and we're gonna talk to the people who organized those riots Maybe we'll find them. Maybe we'll give them a stern warning or something like that.
But I can tell the government, hey, Mr.
Government, Mrs. Government, what's happening is people are like, okay, well, if everyone can protest, then why can't I have dinner with my family?
You know, if we've all been safe, if we wash our hands, if we open the windows, like, why?
Why? Why can't I? You say, oh, well, it's too dangerous.
It's like, no, no, people don't believe you.
They don't believe you. Why don't they believe you?
Because hundreds of thousands of people got together for protests.
And we saw this not just in Canada, of course, but all throughout the world, that you got your Black Lives Matter riots, and you got your Antifa riots, and you got your protests, and you got your this, and you got your that, and all that.
And, of course, it was far too dangerous to have in-person voting, but you can have in-person rioting.
To me, if you can riot in person, you can vote in person.
But anyway, this is what governments need to do.
If they're serious about COVID and saving people's lives, they need to backtrack, apologize, and go and have stern talks or possibly find the people who put together all of these protests and say, we understand why we don't have any credibility with you guys because we allowed all these protests and now we're banning your Christmas.
If the government doesn't do that, Then, to me at least, it just means that they're not particularly serious about COVID and it's just a power grab.
Because if apologizing and reversing a bad decision in the past about allowing protests and riots, if apologizing is...
Too humiliating for governments and they'd rather people die because they get together over Christmas, then clearly their own vanity, their own pomposity, their own self-aggrandizement, their own status is more important than hundreds or thousands of people's lives.
And then I'm just telling you guys, no one's going to listen to you again.
