PLAY TO WIN OR GO AWAY

Time Text
I want you to think of a tennis game.
You're playing tennis.
And you respect the rules.
You understand the rules of tennis and you want to play by the rules.
So, you know, you get your ball over the net and you keep it inside the lines and you play very, very nicely.
But your opponent doesn't play by the rules and the audience doesn't understand that there are rules.
So he just hits the ball over, hits it at you, hits it out of bounds, claims that it's in.
Who's going to win?
If you play by the rules, but your opponent doesn't play by the rules, think of any game.
Chess, checkers, poker, life, politics, civilization.
You play by the rules, your opponent doesn't play by the rules.
And then every time your opponent beats you, because your opponent is not playing by the rules, you say, I'm gonna stick more to my rules and somehow I'm going to win even though your opponent keeps beating you and beating you and beating you and beating you.
Are you willing to ride this illusory perfect platonic integrity all the way into the very ground itself?
To loss!
To permanent and eternal loss of the very civilization that you are sworn to defend.
That's politics these days, my friends.
There was a terrible shooting yesterday.
The man, as far as I understand, is still clinging to life.
The congressional representative is a bunch of Republicans who were shot at while they were practicing for baseball, a baseball game against the Dems.
And everybody knows what the left would have done if such an occurrence had happened to them.
The guy who did the shooting was a fan of Rachel Maddow of the Daily Show.
He was a, he'd been radicalized by the mainstream media.
He believed in the Russian ghosts are animating the election results fantasy land scenario.
If it had been on the other side, if it had been some crazy right-wing person who shot up a bunch of democratic politicians and who had been quote radicalized by right-wing, right, of course he would be an extreme rightist.
This guy's not an extreme leftist.
A supporter of Bernie Sanders had actually volunteered on his campaign.
If it had been the other way, the left would have used it to ram through every conceivable political agenda that they had lying around.
You know, 9-11, the Patriot Act.
It happens on the right as well, but never really in the direction of freedom.
If this violent act of domestic terrorism had occurred against the left, they would have used it without a moment's hesitation to push forward every one of their conceivable radical agendas for transforming Well, America into, well, Venezuela, pretty much.
But the Republicans, I don't know, they play so nice.
They go high.
You understand, when the Democrats say, when you go low, we go high, they're programming you to do that.
They have no intention of doing it themselves.
We don't want to politicize this tragedy.
Sorry, my friends, that's a little too late.
When you have a radicalized leftist shooter targeting Republican Politicians?
Sorry, it's already politicized.
Saying, well, we're not going to politicize an act of political domestic terrorism.
Well, it's like saying, I'm not going to take the bus when you're already 14 miles down the road on the bus.
And this is what the Republicans consistently do.
It's when something like this happens, they pull back.
Well, we're going to take a break from this.
We're going to take a break from that.
Out of respect for it?
No.
No.
People were gunned down for a legislative agenda that had been viciously distorted by the leftist press.
So you know what you do?
You learn from the playbook of those who are continually beating you.
Who are beating civilization.
You politicize the hell out of it.
You take every piece of legislative agenda that these shooting victims had ever touched or thought about or mentioned or blogged about Or whisper it in passing.
You take every piece of legislative agenda and you push it forward relentlessly on the basis of this shooting out of respect for the shot.
We are going to pass this.
We are going to propose this.
We are going to make this happen.
We're going to get that funding for the war.
We're going to get what we promised we were going to get for the American people.
That's what you do.
This is not disrespect to the victims.
They were shot for their political beliefs.
How do you push back against that kind of terrorism?
You make it the catalyst to make those political beliefs reality.
You understand?
Shoot at us, we advance our agenda.
Because the left... It's a rule for radicals, people.
The left has consistently said, we have no standards, we know you have standards, we know you guys like to play by the rules, so we're perfectly happy to use those rules against you, but we don't have any standards, we don't have any rules.
Other than thirst for power, control, manipulation, lies, deceit, subterfuge, treason, you name it.
Because the left is continually pushing forward to see if they can get away with stuff.
If this puts a halt to the legislative agenda of the Trump administration, It would be considered a resounding success.
And remember, you care about the rules, they don't.
If it advances their agenda, they consider it a success.
If it pushes back against their agenda, then like a river going down a mountain, you put a big rock in the middle, it has to change course.
So, if you don't want this kind of stuff to happen, then you have to have this kind of terrorism achieve the opposite.
of what the terrorists want, or the terrorists in this case wanted.
He hated the Republican legislative agenda, and if it's put on hold or pulled back or changed or altered in any way, he's a resounding success, and he will be viewed that way, and it will only engender further attacks.
You must achieve the opposite of what the terrorists wanted, otherwise you merely get an escalation of this kind of terrorism.
More shootings, more escalation, more radicalization.
The left has a strategy of radicalizing The low IQ locals who are just going to go and act out what the leftist intellectuals want.
The leftists in the media and academia and Hollywood and so on.
So they're just going to radicalize, keep pumping this poison gas into the atmosphere until people go crazy and act out their agenda.
They're Iagos.
If you understand the analogy to Othello.
They whisper into the ear of the violent person.
They do not enact that violence themselves.
They don't want to get their little white hands dirty.
But they will continue to pump this poison gas into the atmosphere and it drives crazy people crazy.
And boom!
Off they go and act things out.
But they do that because the way that the Republicans respond is to put a hold or pull back on that legislative agenda.
Not to double down, move forward and get things done.
And so, if the terrorist achieves his goals, then you're going to get more of this stuff.
If it achieves the opposite of what he claims he wanted, which is to paralyze the legislative agenda of the Republicans, then you're going to get less of it.
Appealing to conscience, appealing to virtue, appealing to goodness, appealing to thou shalt not murder, appealing to whatever.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't work.
They've openly said, we have no rules.
We don't care about morals.
We don't care about ethics.
We want our agenda.
We don't care how we get there.
They've openly said this.
So thinking that somehow they're going to be shocked into pulling back on the rhetoric, on the escalation.
Of course not.
Of course not.
After this fantastical made-up Russian narrative, now there's a fantastical made-up investigation into obstruction of justice in the fantasy narrative that never occurred.
They double down, they double down, they double down, they increase.
They see if they can get away with it.
They see if it works.
And if it does work and they can get away with it, they escalate, they intensify, they focus further and do more.
Waiting for them to wake up with a conscience is like crossing your fingers and hoping the tiger ain't hungry.
Tiger, in this case, is always hungry.
You must do the opposite of what they wanted, and it's the only way to get them to change their behavior.
Consequences, not ethics, are the only way to turn this around.
That is the job.
If you can do the job, do the damn job.
