| Quick question. How was your year? | |
| How was your 2017? | |
| You know, I know it's a bit of an artificial distinction and division, you know, we're just ticking around the orbit one more time, but it is a damn fine time of year to figure out where you are, the bigger picture in the arc of your life, what you're committed to, what's your value, what you do with the resources that you have, the time that you have, the life that you have, and the time and the life that we all have left. | |
| What are you going to do? Now, for me, 2016 was a breakout year for this show, and I thank everyone for all of that. | |
| And this largely came about because I climbed down out of my ivory tower, put on my combat boots and gear, and went into the dank mosh pit of modern politics, and tried to use my influence as best as I could to achieve positive outcomes for the West, and particularly for the United States. | |
| Maybe that's paid off for you. | |
| Maybe you're getting a tax cut this year. | |
| Maybe you got into cryptocurrencies. | |
| Maybe you found some way to become more financially secure and stable and independent. | |

| There is so much to improve, so much to be done. | |

| So that's the question I have. | |
| What was your 2017 like? | |
| What do you want out of 2018? | |
| I really want to know. | |
| And from my perspective, 2016 was about digging the trenches. | |
| 2017 was about fighting the fight. | |
| 2018 is about retaking. | |
| Retaking. Retaking. | |
| It feels like for, I guess, the last 150 years, and certainly for the 35 years that I've been arguing and debating ideas, privately and publicly, I don't know how it feels for you. | |
| It feels to me like we've just, we've lost, we've lost, we've lost. | |
| Now we've managed to slow down the losses and we're just, I think, beginning to turn the tide. | |
| And for me, 2018, and I hope for you too, and with your support, we can get there. | |

| I think 2018, that is the year we finally begin to retake ground. | |
| Not only are we going to fall back less, not only have we staunched the bleeding, not only have we given up losing, not only have we given up giving up, I think now we must turn the tide. | |
| We must advance. We must take back the mind and the heart space. | |
| We must take back the soul space in the arts. | |
| In academia, in the media, in the culture as a whole. | |
| I'm tired. I'm tired of always staunching the bleeding. | |
| I'm tired of always dodging bullets. | |
| I want to turn the tide and take back the world that has been overrunning us with irrationality, anti-rationality, subjectivism, Marxism, feminism, socialism, leftism, collectivism. | |
| Of every kind. I am tired. | |
| I am tired of merely slowing down our losses. | |
| I want to turn. | |
| I wish to advance. | |
| And I hope you do as well. | |
| And I know, I know that with the right resources, I can do that for you, with you, because of you. | |
| So, this is my request. | |
| First of all, Merry Christmas. | |
| And first of all, I hope that you will commit to fighting the good fight for freedom in 2018. | |
| This is going to be the most essential year, I believe, in terms of finally having the kinds of victories that allow us to retake the territory we have lost for the last 150 years. | |
| Reason, evidence, rationality, objectivity, self-knowledge, wisdom. | |
| We have all given up position after position after position because we've been outnumbered, outclassed, overwhelmed by culture, the media, academia, Hollywood, you name it. | |
| It doesn't have to be that way forever. | |
| We have the technology. | |
| We have this communication. | |
| We have no gatekeepers between us. | |
| And we can turn the tide and take back what we have lost and reclaim the future for ourselves and for those who come after us. | |
| Because look, 2018 is when we give up losing and stop winning. | |
| We give up retreating and we start advancing. | |
| Now, either we're going to win or we're going to lose. | |
| If we win, the future is secure. | |
| And if we win, don't you want this in your rear view? | |
| Don't you want this in the pride cathedral of your inner heart? | |
| Don't you want, aren't you desperate to know that you did everything you could to save the world, to fight for freedom? | |
| Everything you could. | |
| Now is not the time to leave anything in reserve. | |
| If we lose, that's going to be painful. | |
| I don't think we will, but if we did, which is really up to you. | |
| The loss that we might experience, well, if we've done everything we could, that's the best we can do. | |
| But I believe if we do everything we can, we win, and we win, and we win. | |
| And it will be a glorious dawn. | |
| A firework, a supernova, a sunrise of a new age. | |
| You know, they say this is a golden age. | |
| Gold is a bit archaic. | |
| Maybe it's a cryptocurrency age, but it is a new age, a new dawn. | |
| And yes, we'll have to fight censorship. | |
| And yes, we'll have to fight haters. | |
| And we'll have to fight trolls. | |
| And we'll have to fight the anti-rational. | |
| So what? Nothing that is worth... | |
| Holding on to nothing that is worth winning comes without a fight. | |
| And given how much we've lost, it is about the easiest fight we're ever going to have in the history of the universe. | |
| So, please, I beg of you, commit to victory. | |
| Commit to regaining lost ground. | |
| Commit to turning and fighting back. | |
| In 2018. Do that yourself. | |
| Do that with your own channel, with your own reasoning, with your own capacity, with your own writing, with your own eloquence, with your own music and movies, paintings. | |
| I don't care. Do something to make it happen. | |
| If you don't have the capacity, drive, desire, support those who can do it for you. | |
| We can't win without your support. | |
| I can't really do anything without your support. | |
