Well, I'm afraid that your wishes, your desires, your hopes and your dreams took a bit of a blow.
Today, there was a narrow win for the Democrat Doug Jones.
In Alabama for a Senate seat, Doug Jones, a very, very liberal kind of guy.
I'm pretty sure he's into abortion up until junior kindergarten.
Senior kindergarten would be totally wrong, but JK, that's just a joke.
Just a joke. This was going to be Jeff Sessions' replacement, of course.
Jeff Sessions had to leave the Senate seat in order to become Attorney General so that he could recuse himself from going to the washroom pretty much every day, many times a day.
And then he could recuse himself from recusing himself from going to the washroom.
Because it's really, really important to have vastly higher standards than your enemies.
Otherwise, how on earth can you hand them a victory on a silver platter?
Now... The GOP originally pushed an establishment candidate.
Roy Moore displaced him in the primaries because the establishment candidate was not to the taste of the Republicans who wished for the aforementioned policies.
And then what happened was, I guess about a month or so before the election, this rain of allegations of misconduct of sexual hellella came out against him and the GOP largely This guy who's been a judge,
who's been a lawyer, who's been in countless elections for 40 years or so or 30 years and...
Just before an election, all of these massive allegations start pouring down upon him.
And this, of course, is pure Banana Republic stuff.
I mean, this is like, my opponent is a cannibal!
No! My opponent invoked voodoo to shrink my dick!
No! My opponent raped a pony!
Actually, that was a migrant, I think, in Germany.
This is... He molested children.
Can we talk about the policies and the issues, the facts?
No! We can't!
Because hysteria, verbal abuse, complete lack of intellectual integrity on the left, lack of arguments, lack of facts, lack of data, which always results in an excess...
Of verbal abuse and intimidation and insinuation.
So come on, people. For God's sake, you can't imagine that the left cares about sexual abuse.
Or the sexual abuse of minors for that matter.

Now, I've got to tell you, you're not really a great candidate if people think that your opponent is some kind of pedophile and you still only win, kind of, by a percentage point or so.
That is not a very strong candidate.
But what's happened, of course, is because the GOP caved, because a lot of pundits caved, and it's like, well, you know, he's been credibly accused.
Ooh, we'll get to that one in a second.
Because it worked.
You rain down allegations on a man, and the fact is the allegations were all, well, a lot of them.
The ones that I bothered to research and to look into, I mean, they just fell apart completely.
Just, he signed my yearbook!
Well, it's a different color ink, and you then admit it to.
Adding... Part of the inscription later on, well, that seems kind of important.
And, oh, he locked me in the car with childproof locks.
Well, no, there were no childproof locks at that particular time in American history.
And, well, he grabbed me out back of a restaurant by the garbage dump.
And all the other restaurant employees say, nope, garbage dump was on the side of the restaurant.
And... Blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, it was 10 o'clock.

I mean, it all just seemed to fall apart.
So, the fact that it worked, what does that mean?
It means something very simple.
It means now we have gone down one more Dantian layer in hell.
To the point where, can't beat your opponent based upon reason and evidence, called in the airstrike of estrogen-based allegations that are completely unprovable.

And thus, we see the late Roman Republic-style slanderfest of a decaying republic.
No. By not standing by this guy, by not saying, come on, 40 years and it all comes out a couple of weeks before the election?

Let's start talking about the issues because this is all ridiculous.
What happens now? Well, what happens now is exquisitely predictable.
It doesn't take a fortune teller to say that the sun is going to rise tomorrow, and it sure as hell doesn't take a political pundit to realize that now that sex abuse allegations have won the Democrats a victory in Alabama, everybody gets an allegation from here until the end of time!

And all these people, oh man.
So everyone's like, because Roy Moore was ahead for a while in the evening, and people are like, no, no, no, wait!
The urban black vote hasn't been counted yet.
And so I guess it's totally fine to talk about different voting patterns among different ethnicities, Only during the night of the election.
Any other time you talk about demographics and voting patterns and people who want smaller government and control over the borders and so on, any other time you talk about ethnic tensions, you're a racist!
But the night of! See, the fact that blacks vote for Democrats is relied upon by the Democrats, but if it's pointed out by non-Democrats, well, they're just plain racists for accepting the very thing that the Democrats rely on, which is real, really, really tragic.
And all these people who are like, well, he's been, he's been credibly, Roy Moore's been credibly accused of X or Y, or he's been credibly accused.
Bullshit, you don't know.
You don't know if he's been, what are you, judge, jury, and executioner?
There's holes all over these damn stories.
He's been credibly accused.
You don't know? It was 40 years ago.
No evidence, no verification, no witnesses.
