Time Text
This week, I put out two separate videos on the recent National Football League scandals.
One on the Ray Rice-Janae Palmer domestic violence situation, and the other on the Adrian Peterson child abuse tragedy.
After seeing the YouTube comments in response to these videos, and subjecting myself to the mainstream media narrative, this is what I've observed.
On average, people generally agree that it's unacceptable for an adult man to hit an adult woman.
Now, in the event of domestic abuse, an adult woman can leave the situation, go to a battered women's shelter for support, press criminal charges against the man, has the ability to gain some form of financial restitution from the man via the court system, and will receive much-needed sympathy for the abuse that she has suffered.
Plus, of course, she did choose to enter into a relationship with an abusive man.
It is, however, acceptable for an adult man to hit a child, so long as we wrap the assault in the magic word discipline.
Now remember, the child does not choose his or her parents.
It is born into the family.
Children cannot leave their situations.
They're completely dependent upon the person hitting them.
They have no shelters to go to.
They can't press criminal charges.
They cannot gain financial restitution via the court system.
And when they grow up, victims of child abuse will be told that their parent had the right to assault them, and that their parent did the best they could.
Of course, the child doesn't benefit from the same did-the-best-they-could excuse for the behavior which precipitated the assault because...
Look!
Look!
A waterfall!
Mwah!
Wow!
Isn't that pretty?
Uh, what...
What were you talking about?
I forget.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
So, the average adult male over 20 years old is 69.3 inches tall and weighs 195.5 pounds.
The average adult female over 20 years old is 63.8 inches tall and weighs 166...
So, it's evil for an adult male 8.6% taller and 17.6% heavier to assault an adult female.
Got it!
Now, the average 4-year-old child is 40 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds.
And under the guise of discipline, it's perfectly okay for an adult male 73.3% taller and 458.6% heavier to assault the child.
Ah!
Wait, what?
That sounds like a huge contradiction where people are excusing the abuse children receive while condemning the abuse of women.
Nobody says that the abusive husband is doing the best he can in a bad situation, and he's stressed, and it's okay for him to punch his wife around the kitchen to discipline her for serving a cold dinner.
This is absolutely insane.
This is a massive injustice.
This must be corrected immediately, and society must understand that violence in every form is corrupt, vile, immoral, and evil.
Societal propaganda reinstallation complete.
Please continue your video, Mr.
Molyneux.
Man hit woman.
