Stephane Molyneux: Libertarian Thinker
00:02:26
|
|
| Before all of that, we're going to have a guy. | |
| A guy that I've wanted to talk to for some time. | |
| I've followed his work. | |
| Stéphane Molyneux. He is a libertarian philosopher, writer, blogger. | |
| Maybe you've seen his YouTube channel. | |
| It is literally one of the most popular channels out there. | |
| What I like about him... | |
| And it's funny because this is kind of what I got involved in over the weekend was talking to some people on Facebook that one of the challenges for libertarians that I find is that libertarians tend to be exceptionally logical thinkers but that can also be a double-edged sword because You know, | |
| what that means is it tends to attract people that are mathematicians, computer programmers, what you might call nerds. | |
| Not all of them, but a great many of them. | |
| And so sometimes communicating persuasively is not, or winning people over to a popular cause, is not one of the strengths. | |
| Clear logical thinking, sure, but persuasion maybe not so much. | |
| And that is what I really like about Stéphane Molyneux. | |
| You can check out his website, freedomainradio.com. | |
| I think that's it. I'll have to double check. | |
| But he's really a sharp thinker. | |
| I don't agree with anybody 100%, but he's really a sharp thinker and raises great arguments and somewhat controversial at times, but he's able to communicate in such an effective manner. | |
| I mean, he really speaks well, but he's not kind of hoity-toity or ivory tower in his approach. | |
| He's just a really interesting guy. | |
| I'm really looking forward to having him on the show here shortly. | |
| Oh, well, without further ado, looks like we've got Mr. Molyneux on the line. | |
| Let's bring him on. | |
| Welcome, Stefan Molyneux, to the show. | |
| How are you? | |
| Thank you so much for the invitation. | |
| Yeah, so I've always... | |
| I've been very impressed... | |
| By your work. | |
