Epic Fury Intensifies: Hannity on Iran’s Collapse

Sean Hannity reports the Trump administration eased Venezuela oil sanctions while launching a military strike on Iran, claiming U.S. warplanes dropped a 5,000-pound bunker buster near the Strait of Hormuz and killed Supreme Leader Khamenei, President Raisi, and intelligence chief Ali Larajani. He argues this unilateral action prevents imminent nuclear weaponization by 460 kilograms of enriched uranium, noting 89% MAGA GOP approval while criticizing NATO's refusal to reopen the strait. Ultimately, Hannity asserts Europe's collapse due to immigration and radical socialism has rendered it impotent against Russian aggression, leaving the U.S. as the sole defender of global security. Important Updates on Iran 00:05:58
This is an iHeart podcast.
Guaranteed human.
Thanks to all of you for being with us.
Write down our toll-free telephone number if you want to be a part of the program.
We should have one other one, Ethan.
I'm just coming on the air, and that was from 2020.
I don't know if you guys found that one.
I'm going to get to all of this in this Joe Kent issue.
There's some really weird, odd, strange twists and turns that we're going to get into today.
Let me start with some updates here because I think this is pretty important.
Number one, the Trump Treasury Department is easing oil sanctions on Venezuela to boost the world supply.
They're doing everything possible.
If I had to guess, based on putting everything together three, four weeks from now, I think this thing will be winding down and it will be one of the most successful.
I'm praying to God I'm right.
That one of the most successful military and intelligence missions ever in the history of warfare.
You have warplanes last night.
They dropped a newly developed 5,000-pound bunker buster bomb on Iran's underground missile site near the Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. military dropped this last night.
It was just as I was coming off the air.
This massive attack announced by U.S. Central Command as the war with Iran now has stretched the flow of shipping through the vital Persian Gulf waterway.
Two the U.S. CENCOM commanders as American forces are now zeroing in on destroying Iranian mines, drone boats, torpedoes in the Strait of Hormuz.
Admiral Brad Cooper, who's done a phenomenal job, as long as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Raisin Kane.
Not sure why my rapid radios is going off left and right here, Linda.
But anyway, the U.S. CENCOM commander.
I had to talk to you urgently.
Why don't you just talk on the air then?
Why are you harassing me?
I have no idea why it's doing that.
But they have done phenomenal.
What's fascinating, we'll get into this more specifically, but Ali Larajani, Iran's top security official, we'll go into more detail on this, strolls confidently in dark sunglasses and a black coat on Friday through a rally of regime loyalists in central Tehran.
And it was his first public appearance in a war in which he was a known target.
Anyway, four days later, he was dead.
Excuse me.
That's pretty much the entire leadership.
Iran's intelligence chief also killed.
The Israeli defense minister said that Israel will continue striking key figures.
There's nothing left.
Now, there was a funny headline in the New York Post today.
Linda, I don't know if you maybe you want to apply for this job.
I don't know.
But it said, help wanted, new Iran leader.
You know, get excited for the last job.
This is the third day you've offered me this job.
You must really want me to lead that nation.
Oh, my God.
Although you probably, you do a lot better job.
The people would be free.
Women can dress however they want and wouldn't have to go out in public with a male relative and gays and lesbians wouldn't be thrown off roofs.
Not sure how the supreme leader of this report in the New York Post the other day was true that he happens to be gay.
How did he not get thrown off a roof?
But maybe that explains why the father said he must never replace him and shouldn't be in the line of secession, which is amazing.
Anyway, it would be the last job you ever have.
Unexpected vacancies now have left the Republic of Iran seeking a motivated candidate for a supreme position in our government.
Can work from home as long as that home is heavily fortified as a bunker.
Preferred candidates should have experience in public speaking, hating Jewish people, and Excel.
Enthusiasm required.
Someone who puts the ya in Ayatollah.
DEI, don't even acknowledge that women exist.
No endless Zoom meetings.
We're evil, but not that evil.
Good news, you won't be replaced by AI unless AI is flying a predator drone and looking for someone who is a self-starter, willing to negotiate with Western infidels in a competitive workplace as a fast-paced, as a cruise missile.
Lots of mullah interested?
Mullah is what they're really saying, but they spell it mullah.
But just drop, you know, just drop by a Tehran government office, and you'll get a promotion sooner than later.
I mean, and then it goes into great deal.
Who wants this job?
Supreme leader, Ali Khamani, dead.
Their president, dead.
Their chief of staff, dead.
They're the advisor on international affairs, dead.
I mean, we're just touching the surface.
I mean, everybody in top leadership, first tier, second tier, third tier, now is dead.
And we don't even know if the kid's alive or not alive.
The foreign minister, dead.
Advisor on public policy, this is Ali Larajani, dead.
Chief Justice, dead.
Head of assembly, dead.
Secretary Guardian, dead.
Hamani, advisor on foreign policy, dead.
First vice president, dead.
Parliament speaker, dead.
Revolutionary guard leader, Soleimani, dead.
New Ayatollah, unknown.
You know, it's, oh, you talk about getting to the heart of a matter.
And, but they're evil, and they've been evil.
And I'll tell you what a big problem now that is emerging, I might as well deal with this here now.
Dead Leaders and New Ayatollah 00:15:10
And that is, I have been saying on this program, and I'm going to reiterate this because I think it bears repeating: Europe is finished.
How do I know?
I've been to Europe a couple of times in my life, and you can see what's happened.
Unfettered, illegal immigration without assimilation.
That has resulted in Great Britain having over 80 Sharia courts, and they allow that.
That is insane.
That means no go zones in France and other parts of Europe.
In other words, police and fire services are not allowed to go in because the people that are there that have set up their Muslim communities, no, finished.
Then you add to that that they have absolutely abandoned national security interests individually as countries in Europe, and they have abandoned them as a continent in Europe, which is why they were rendered impotent with this whole, you know, Putin building up massive amounts of troops and firepower on the Ukrainian border without the U.S. helping.
It's over.
And then they've embraced radical socialism.
They've embraced radical environmentalism and climate alarmism.
This country, these countries are finished.
This continent is over unless there was going to be a major shift and change.
And I don't see it happening anyplace anytime soon.
And that is a tragedy for the world.
That is a tragedy for Western civilization.
You know, Reagan famously said that freedom is but one generation away from extinction.
And then you look at somebody like Winston Churchill, you would have thought World War II, which impacted all of Europe, would have learned something that you don't allow emerging threats to continue to grow as a threat when you have an opportunity to mitigate this.
This is the whole story behind Neville Chamberlain and, of course, Winston Churchill.
Winston Churchill was a voice in the wilderness.
Winston Churchill was that crazy guy with a cigar that probably drank too much and God only knows what else cussed too much and wasn't particularly liked by the elite at the time.
And Winston Churchill was warning again and again and again about the rise of Hitler.
He actually spent the time and he actually read Mein Kampf.
And he's not wrong.
And if you had a chance looking through the prism of history, and Winston Churchill saved Western civilization in his time, every generation has the same challenge.
And President Trump is doing it now in our time, putting the Iranian terror regime completely out of business.
Not easy.
It's not fun.
You're constantly going to be criticized for whatever you do.
And then you can never really calculate what would have happened to the world if the Iranians were so hell-bent on nuclear weapons would have gotten them.
What would have happened?
There is a former top U.S. Navy strategist predicting that Ali Larajani's death could be the turning point that spurs the Iranian uprising.
He was the key enforcer of the regime's brutality.
He's the one that authorized the violent crackdown that murdered tens of thousands of Iranian protesters going back in January.
And Iranian security officials, you know, they look at Ali Larajani's death could help inspire the anti-regime protesters.
Their moment is now coming.
I hope they don't miss this chance.
I mean, but on top of that, Israel killed the Iranian intelligence minister who survived the initial attack, the minister of intelligence, and this precision strike overnight.
The official said the strike enabled by a joint U.S.-Israel intelligence effort.
Remember, those weapons have to come from Israel because of Executive Order 1233, which I don't interpret to be constitutional myself.
But Ali Larajani, you know, he was close to the dead supreme leader.
He was considered the de facto leader.
It's not the guy's son.
And this other guy, Sole Amani, different from the one that was killed on that tarmac, are both dead.
Israeli defense minister.
So, you know, they're losing everybody.
You know, the commander of Iran's parliamentary force, Sole Amani, gave a press conference in November of 2019 and a volunteer parliamentary force founded by the late Supreme Leader, Ali.
Well, actually, this was found by the Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979 as a 20-million-man army to defend the Islamic Republic.
But that force consists of three armed branches that defend neighborhoods, handle security threats, harass the living hell out of the people.
And the force is frequently accused of manipulating elections, acting on behalf of the Supreme Leader.
And this guy was instrumental in suppressing the domestic threat in Iran, having previously cracked down in 1999.
I mean, these are all bad people.
And now, you know, according to reports, the next move, and Lindsey Graham brought this up yesterday, on Iran is Harg Island handles 90% of Iran's oil exports, about 7 million barrels of oil a day.
And if America takes control of that, it's over because that is the lifeblood of their economy.
The other next move of Iran, they'll secure that, secure the uranium, if in fact they were telling the truth, which made this the imminent threat that it was, that they had 460 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium.
Again, maybe most people don't understand the uranium business, but it's easy.
It takes seven to 10 days to go from 60% enrichment to weapons grader enrichment at 90%.
You can do that in seven to 10 days.
That's enough to make 10 or 11 bombs.
That is not a threat.
I am not willing to gamble with our children's future over that, knowing that we had, through Operation Midnight Hammer, we would have very quick control of the skies and that we had the ability to basically do what we wanted.
Nothing is risk-free, but do it now.
Now, here's the worst part.
We're going to get into more details on this.
The saddest part in all of this, when President Trump mentioned, you know, we only get 1% of any oil through the Strait of Hormuz.
And the president threw out there, you know what?
A lot of Western Europe is getting some of their oil from there.
Same with China.
Same with Japan.
Same with other countries.
And he said, why don't you people step up?
Why don't you people, you know, help protect it?
Then he finally said, you know what?
The hell with you all.
I'll do it on our own.
I'll tell you where I think this is going to end up.
I think NATO is finished because NATO is a one-way street.
Senator Kennedy shut down the UK over Iran, and it was epic.
I mean, the British Empire fell decades ago, and he finished what was left of our cousin's once proud standing in the world.
He said the UK flooded with Muslims and woke leftists who have been engaged in a long campaign of suicidal empathy that is going to destroy their island nation soon if it doesn't get a grip on reality.
I don't even think it's time.
It's well known that the UK Prime Minister, Kier Starmer, isn't involved in Operation Epic Fury because he can't risk offending all of these illegals that he's let into his country that he's allowing not to assimilate.
When did you ever think Great Britain would ever, ever have Sharia courts?
Kennedy's epic one-liner.
Prime Minister Starmer wants to give President Trump advice on our fight with Iran.
That's like taking advice from a nun about sex.
Got to admit, this man is funny as hell.
He is so funny.
It's sadly true, though.
I'm telling you, I don't see Europe's recovery here.
I hope I'm wrong.
Well, there's still, I guess, fallout, if you want to even call it that, although I think President Trump pretty much summed it up.
I find this interesting.
And Caroline Glevitt said yesterday, he pushed back on this false claim and this resignation letter.
And I went through this.
I'm not going to repeat what I did on the program yesterday and what I did on TV last night, which is, you know, this idea that he says, I've decided to resign my position as director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
He said he could not in good conscience support the ongoing war with Iran, claiming that Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation.
And that is the key phrase.
Now, look, it's pretty well documented, reported.
And I actually, in a weird way, I kind of like the fact that the president will take opinions from all sorts of people.
And this is the Donald Trump I really know.
Not the conspiracy theorists or the isolationists or those with an agenda or those that hate BB and those that hate Israel.
And there are many of those that will tell you he's doing this at the behest of BB.
He's listening to talk show hosts, and that's what's the deciding factor.
It's anything but that.
Donald Trump will listen to everybody, and Donald Trump's a man of his own mind.
I know this, having known him over 30 years, much longer, and a much more personal relationship than a lot of people that make comments about him.
But that's not me.
I'm just telling you what the truth is.
The truth is, he will make up his own mind.
And the president, after Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner were tasked with getting a deal done, and then I keep playing that interview.
That in the president's mind, my understanding is from people that know him, that decision took all of five seconds when he said they have an inalienable right to nuclear weapons.
They turned down civilian-use, free uranium, low-grade, low-enrichment, for free in perpetuity, and that it's their inalienable right to enrich and to have a nuclear weapon.
And then they bragged about 460 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, which means seven to 10 days out, they would have enough weapons-grade uranium for up to 11 nuclear weapons.
And they do have ballistic missiles to launch it.
That is pretty scary.
So, you know, but it's pretty well known.
Not everybody around the president agrees with him.
I don't think the vice president agrees with him.
I don't think that Tulsi Gabbard agreed with him.
I think pretty much everyone else did.
I don't know of others that did not.
And this guy tries to make a big show of it.
Now, I'll tell you why I'm suspicious because I've noticed that this guy had a very different view.
And I'll read this from a post on, I believe it was X. Maybe it was Truth.
I don't know.
I think it was X.
We should not sit and wait for the next attack, wipe out Iran's ballistic capability and get our troops out of Iraq.
We are only targets now.
Okay?
No U.S. tribute to the professionalism or military professional restraint.
Okay.
Now we have a cut of this guy.
He was on this podcast, Sean Ryan's podcast.
Do you listen?
I've read about him.
I don't know a lot about it.
I don't have a lot of time to listen to other podcasters, and I just like to do my own thing anyway.
But you're pretty aware of him, right, right, Linda?
I am.
Okay.
And he apparently had this guy, Joe Kent, on his show.
When was this?
When was this podcast done?
This was about three months ago.
Okay.
Let's play Joe Kent from three months ago.
I've already heard rumors that Fifth Group is going to be sending guys to Iraq because of the escalated situation with Iran now.
Yeah.
I mean, most Americans aren't aware of it.
Our troops in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 150 plus times by Iranian proxies.
And when we say Iranian proxies, we've got to be clear on what that is.
That's the Iraqi government that we pay.
Because after the Iraqi military, we spent $2 trillion on surrendered to ISIS, we had to go back in there in very short order and stand a military back up again.
And guess who filled the breach?
The Shia militias controlled by Iran did.
And the Iraqi government's controlled by Iran.
That's pretty interesting.
Now we found a 2024 clip of this guy.
Remember, he's saying it's no imminent threat, but he had tweeted out: we shouldn't sit and wait for the next attack.
Wipe out Iran's ballistic capability.
Wipe it out.
This is him in 2024.
Since the Iranian Revolution in 1979, when radical jihadis essentially took over the government of Iran and they declared war basically on the West, but they also declared war on the vast majority of the Sunni Gulf states.
And so, what Kushner and what the Trump administration did was they came in and they said, look, you guys actually have a common enemy.
Iran is an existential threat to both Israel.
It's an existential threat to the oil-producing Arab Gulf countries.
And so that was the genesis of the Abraham Accord.
So what they did was they basically said the obvious, no one's going to solve this.
At least an outsider, a Westerner is not going to be able to come in here and say, hey, here's the grandiose solution between the Arabs and between the Palestinian and between the Israelis.
Let's isolate that as much as we possibly can and let's create a pragmatic alliance.
And that's what led to a lot of the peace and prosperity that we had in the Middle East.
Now, again, here comes Joe Biden.
Biden comes into office and he does, I think, two things.
He brings back in a lot of folks from the Obama administration who had bet their careers in foreign policy on reaching out to Iran.
That was Obama's famous thing.
If you extend your hand, if you unclench your fist, we'll extend our hand.
And we did that.
We entered the Iran deal.
We gave the Iran access to billions and billions of dollars.
And what did Iran do?
They funded their proxies throughout the entire Middle East.
Oh, amazing.
I think people are entitled to change their mind.
Linda, we believe in that, right?
Yeah, we wouldn't be able to work in this business otherwise because Chuck Schumber seems to do it every decade.
Every single day.
MAGA GOP Military Action 00:07:33
Well, you've got to understand.
You know, and I'm just sorry the evidence was so overwhelming and incontrovertible.
If they are seven to 10 days away from having weapons-grade enriched uranium at 90%.
Now, this is separate and apart from obliterating their nuclear weapons facilities and their enrichment facilities because this is uranium that they had stored that they were bragging about.
That's the whole point.
Dan Bongino made some good points.
He's going to join us on TV tonight.
He said, I'm not, I don't know at what point you thought this wasn't an imminent threat after you read a lot of the same stuff I read.
And by the way, that's just the open store, open source stuff that we can talk about on the air.
The president, I promise you, has a bevy of material that if he told you right now, you would come to an imminent threat conclusion in a snap.
That is the truth.
That is just common sense.
This is not complicated.
The question, you know, is why?
And this is where I get a little suspicious.
You know, it's not that I'm against people having an open mind or changing their minds.
I get it.
A lot of people are looking for clicks and algorithms, which equals money in the podcast world, as I'm discovering.
But I am just, I'm just, I'm suspicious.
How do you go from that very strong position of taking out their missile sites and so on and so forth to, you know, it was not an imminent threat.
And then you have people that I trust and I believe, like Steve Wickoff, Dan Bongino, and other sources that I have that said, no, what they're telling you is true.
This was an imminent threat.
Now, you're entitled not to believe them, but these are people that I've known forever.
These are not people that I am suspect of.
Just not.
And I know the people, and by the way, this was interesting.
Did you see Harry Enton?
You don't have to be a math genius to see President Trump's Make America Great Again movement remains fiercely loyal to him.
It's after he pointed out 90% support his efforts in Iran, because there's a new false narrative.
The first false narrative of the isolationist conspiracy theorists, the anti-Israel crowd has been the president has lost touch with his base.
Then all of a sudden you start looking at the polls.
90% of his base, the MAGA movement, supports these actions in Iran and think it's a success.
And then the data guru over there, oh, he's not losing any support.
He pointed out a new NBC poll.
I think we have this Harrietton tape, right, Linda, showing that Trump has 100% approval rating.
How do you get 100%?
Nobody gets 100%, but let's play it.
Marco Rubio's chances, according to the Calcium prediction markets, way, way up.
Okay, why?
Why?
Why are his chances way, way up?
Well, one of the reasons why his chances are way, way up is because the MAGA base really likes the U.S. military action in Iran.
Take a look here.
Okay, MAGA GOP on the U.S. military action in Iran.
Look at this.
Nearly 9 in 10, 89% approve of the U.S. military action in Iran.
That is the MAGA GOP base.
Just 9% disapprove of it.
This is tremendously popular among the Republican base.
And of course, Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, overseeing the effort.
It seems to me that a lot of people are taking that into account, including President Donald Trump, who has been smiling an awful lot at Marco Rubio lately.
I think this is getting very interesting.
Here's the great irony, Linda.
I think the very people that we're always leaning and leaned into Vice President Vance, who I have a good relationship with, those very people are doing the most damage to him.
Do you know what I mean by that?
I don't want to go into too many specifics here.
Listen, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
And there's a lot of people in the inner circle who may not have everyone's best interests at heart.
Let's go back to NATO collapsing.
I mean, what good is NATO if they won't even, even though they benefit from the Strait of Hormuz being open, they're getting their energy way more than we are.
Here's Emmanuel Macron.
France will never take part in operations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Listen.
We are not a party to the conflict, and therefore France will never take part in operations to reopen or liberate the Strait of Hormuz in the current context.
And the Prime Minister of Great Britain is no Winston Churchill, Starmer, on Iran.
The United Kingdom won't be drawn into a wider war, and that we're working with our allies to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but he won't lift a finger.
Listen.
The conflict in Iran and across the Middle East is now entering its third week.
So I want to take a moment to set out how we're responding to this crisis and standing up for the British people.
Our priority is always the national interest.
And to say we have been clear and consistent in our objectives throughout this conflict.
First, we will protect our people in the region.
Second, while taking the necessary action to defend ourselves and our allies, we will not be drawn into the wider war.
And third, we will keep working towards a swift resolution that brings security and stability back to the region and stops the Iranian threat.
I don't even want to hear from this guy anymore.
Great Britain that has rear courts.
France has no-go zones.
I am telling you, Europe is collapsing before your eyes.
Unfettered immigration.
They don't demand assimilation.
It is now an unmitigated, out-of-control disaster.
Of course, they've embraced socialism.
They have embraced climate alarmism.
And they have neglected at the highest level their ability to defend themselves as countries and as a continent.
Now, let me tell you what the net result of this, that they're going to go AWAL.
Donald Trump doesn't need them.
We just don't.
But you know what?
Without the U.S., NATO is nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
And I will tell you, their unwillingness to step up and keep open the Strait of Hormuz is on them.
NATO is making a very foolish mistake.
Just like the Iranians underestimated Donald Trump before Operation Midnight Hammer and Epic Fury.
I can tell you right now, this is not going to end well for Europe.
It just isn't.
We'll just ignore their complex.
They'll just ignore what they go through and maybe save the American taxpayers billions of dollars every year.
Here's isolationism for you.
Why are we bailing out Europe all the time?
